So I just woke up and walked into the kitchen in my lingerie for a cup of coffee.  Glanced over at the glass wall that is the back of my house, and there is a man on top of the utility pole!!!!!   I thought they had to tell you when they are working in your yard!!!!!  Agggggggh my day is already ruined!

Sounds like you have your hands full.  I would love to have both my kitchen and bath redone, but dread exactly what you are describing.  Maybe it's a good thing we can't afford it at the moment.

I am good this morning with the exception of the eye soar of my rump shaking husband running around the house getting ready for his day singing "I Like You" in a whispy voice.......even the dogs were getting into it as my youngest likes to howl whenever he attempts to sing.  I am already foreseeing a letter on my door from the head of the HOA today!

May I just say, that for someone so worried about another persons personal information, he sure does give out a lot of OTHER peoples personal info.  That man needs to get a hobby!  Poor washed up old coot.

Oh, Wow!  My kids want to have me locked up?  Does this mean I don't have to move to my new apartment and can stop all this sorting and packing?  And it looks for all the world like a very nice senior community!  Waiting list even.

I have another wonderfull snack to share!!  Its Jello, well pudding!!  It is called Jello Live Active Sugar free pudding.  It comes in 2 flavors and both are delish!!!  Its like eating an Activa, but without the yogurt taste, which means I can get Mr. Picky (aka hubs) to eat it without turning up his nose! Great tasting and promotes a good digestive system!!

Quick and simple meal for you Mom's on the go, so easy your children can help!

Ham & Cheddar Loaf

1 lb. frozen bread or pizza dough, thawed
1 pkg. (9 oz) Cooked Sandwich Ham
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup soften cream cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese

1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Place dough on lightly floured surface; flatten slightly with hands, then roll into 12 x 8-in. rectangle with rolling pin. (If dough is difficult to roll, cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature for 30 min. before rolling out.)

2. TOP dough evenly with ham, overlapping slices slightly and leaving a 1/2-in. border around all sides.

3. MIX cheddar cheese and cream cheese; spread evenly over ham.

4. MOISTEN edges of dough with water. Starting at one of the long sides of dough, fold 1/3 of the dough over the filling, then repeat with other long side of dough. Firmly pinch ends of dough together to seal. Place, seam side down, on lightly greased baking sheet.

5. CUT 3 diagonal slits in top of dough with kitchen scissors. Brush evenly with egg; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 35 to 40 min. or until golden brown. Cool 10 min. before cutting into 6 slices to serve (Adult-assisted). Makes 6 servings, 1 slice each.

That food looks good, Dolce.  For some reason I think a bowl of tomato soup would be good with it.

Those who followed these events as they happened will note the story evolving and incorporating others into it, etc.  First it was stalking only.  Then the death threat added before I even knew the person involved.  Now it includes other individuals being threatened at my behest.  All missing in the original telling.

Thoughts about that bogus post keep popping into my head.  Like the crack out my kids wanting to have me locked up.  If I didn't have such a good relationship with my children, I guess that would be designed to cause trouble?  Not a snowball's chance.

Instead it is just funny and kind of sad for what it says about the liar who wrote it.  The apartments I am moving into are for people over 55 period.  Just as some apartments are for singles, others for people with no children, etc. it is by age.

Otherwise they are no different than any other apartments so where this lock up came from is just to add a lie to any information to try to make it into something defamatory when it is no such thing.

But it does give an example of how they can take the most innocuous information and weave a whopping lie into it and change the whole meaning.  My children are concerned I am working too hard on a farm with the dogs and horses and wish for me to have an easier life of bridge parties and garden clubs, etc.  They are very loving and caring people and I have decided to take them up on their offer.  No one is going to be locked up anywhere but am told there is new car in it for me if I go along.

It won't be one like Dolce's I'm sure but I don't need one as dependable as hers.  A Mini Cooper would be nice, however, and I am thinking about trying for one of those, lol.  But I don't even want to take care of a car anymore so as long as it is wheels and new and gets me where I want to go, I will be pleased.  My current uses so much gasoline you can literally watch the gauge move!  Huge SUV with 4-wheel drive that I won't need after I move.

It's a very nice and loving thing they are doing to help me do this and I thank them from the bottom of my heart as yes, I am very tired most of the time from taking care of so many animals and acreage.

Now let's forget about those trashy sleazebags and think about positive things and things that are on the bright side of life and not the dark, twisted side.

Dolce's twins are bright and positive even if she refuses to name one after Wreck.

I can't wait for them to get here so we can see photos and share with her this wonderful blessing.  Twins run in my family as well and I have a cousin with a set with a boy and a girl, totally beautiful little cotton headed kids.  We have all enjoyed watching them grow up and the fact there are two of them always made everything special.

And I will take this opportunity to post the latest photos of my grandpups.  They are now three weeks old, eyes are open except they are asleep and tails docked, etc.

Anna, I agree that puppies and babies are far better to focus on, something sweet and innocent for a change? I am sorry that once again they are trying to terrorize you, it's become their obsession. It was a hot day but it is very comfortable tonight.  Just came home dinner and shopping!!   Tonight was my son's turn to pick the restaurant and he picked Outback.  I have to say, I hate Outback now!!   ::MonkeyNoNo::  Our Outback has completely changed their menu and the food has gone way down hill.

Tevye did nothing wrong, I flew her like a bird in prey.  I misread her post, and being at an angry point in my life, I took her post the wrong way.  I am also sorry, I went off topic in Caylee's thread.
No excuses, cept I am an Aries, and I have been thru a hard time, which I am dealing with.  I am who I am, and even tho, Id give the shirt off my back to anyone in need, a loyal friend for life, but part of makeup is a snap dragon.  Only when Im feeling down or low, I suffer severe paranio episodes.  Doesnt help, my father, one brother, and my ex husband are always putting crap on me.  Even Paul from CFS told me that when my Dad heard i was joining, he laughed about me.  Hearing that was like a slap in the face, so, I fired up over that, plus being sick.  I have the whole CFS supporting me tho, and they have confidence in me.  They even call me "Lethal", I might be thin, but I got some inner strength.  Burly fire fighters, they are all so nice to me.  I do have issues with self doubt, but thats cos I have an awful violent father, a brother, who just cannot help himself at being nasty and domineering to me, and an ex husband, who was an abusive alcholic, who decided he hates our son, when I lost his daughter, and miscarriages, he just wanted a girl.  So there you have it.  I wear my heart on my sleeve, always have, and that wont ever change.  I have many friends who love me for me, and they understand my spit fires, cos im over it in a day. 
Im at the anger stage with Js suicide, after being the strong one, I never thought id be angry, but i am.  I was angry as hell when his brother was murdered, my brother and son found brians body, and my son was 12.  The killers got out less than a year.  but I had no clue joshie would hang himself, he did get help a week before, but he seemed good.  three days before he hung himself, he came to visit me for lunch, and I made him tofu (our special dish), he NEVER ONCE gave me the impression he would commit suicide, he was so at peace and seemed really relaxed.  i should have realised, i should have brung up his issues, but he seemed so calm, and even said he wanted to save up to go to WA to join my son.  I shouldve realised.  Three days later he was dead.  I know I have serious issues, and they just seem to be hitting me.  I will get it all together.  im seeing my specialist in the city tomorrow, to see what they can do with my heart prob, and they will do jack shyte, they have no idea.  So, I have been cracking it, but I am very sorry, i am just human, and I never want to lose my place in this group, cos I feel i can help a lot of people, I just got to get normal again.  Love you all.

Its like memorial day i think in USA.  We dont celebrate tho, we have a somber day for them, and we dont have the memorial day sales, which in USA I think you do.  We do the dawn service, and its all the diggers at the local RSL play two up, and it is a day of respect.

I married an OCD guy and well the Swine Flu is on his radar at this point, so he went searching last night for respitory masks......... aparently there are many other OCD people out there and Walgreen, Walmart, Target, CVS, and Publix are all completely sold out down here.......

After he called to tell me this and FINALLY asked for MY direction, I sent him to Home Depot.  Home Depot has respitory masks for the lawn working type people so it blocks out pollin and debris that float in the air.  So if you too are OCD or just plain old stir crazy over this Swine Flu, may I suggest Home Depot!!

Thank you Muffy.  One of my younger sisters lived the first 4 years of her life on dialisis in a childrens hospital due to being born without kidneys.  She received her kidney from a young man who parished in a car accident.  The waiting and not knowing are the hardest part of this, and that is just the first hurdle in this journey.  She has now lived way past what was expected, and is 12, but limited on what she can and can not do.
Searching my prayers do go out to you and your family, and will continue even after a donor has been found. 

Well, see, I sorta wear my heart on my sleave, too. One of our sons inherited my disability to conceal my feelings...so I totally get where you're coming from. And it's not like I haven't snarked at someone lately (had to spend all yesterday making up to DH for a snarky comment I made).

The hopeful news seems to be that even though some American victims of this flu have had to be hospitalized, nobody's died from it... yet. And yet, a lot of people in Mexico have died from it. I wonder what the difference is. I know some Mexicans, at least the Mayans from the Yucatan area, have no resistance to measles and perhaps, other diseases that we've built up resistance to.

About 15 years ago, some Mexican friends (who are my very real family in every way that family matters) warned me not to come visit them at their apartment building where hundreds of Mexicans from their area of the Yucatan lived because they had some terrible epidemic of disease moving like wildfire through the people there and at least two elderly people had died and several children were dangerously ill. They didn't know what the disease was but they suspected flu since "grippe" (Spanish for flu) is kind of a catch-all phrase for whatever ails you that you can't define.

I went into the building, anyway, because I wanted to know what was going on and it was measles. I explained even if a measles-sufferer sneezed or coughed all over me (yuck), I couldn't catch that form of measles because I'd already had it.

I went to the Health Department and told them old people were in big trouble in that building and it seemed nobody there had ever had measles before. They said they knew about it but the people in the building would not open their doors because at least half of them were illegal and all of them did not trust any government agency. Even the legal green card holders had illegal wives and children to protect.

The problem to be solved was to treat the sufferers of measles and to prevent the disease from spreading although most American adults have either had measles or have been inoculated as have most American schoolchildren. The main danger was to other Mexicans and these folks just needed to know what the disease was and how to treat it.

So I was able to get past a lot of those locked front doors and from there word spread that they could go to the Health Dept. directly for treatment and even give fake names if they were afraid and none of their information would be shared with any other agency without their consent.

It was kind of mean but one way I was able to persuade the adult males to get their families some help was to tell them that measles would not only make them sterile but they also wouldn't be able to get it up at all. I'm not even sure that's true but I vaguely recall from my high school Health Class that it was a terrible, terrible thing for adult males to catch childhood diseases.

Anyway, I am curious as to why this flu is so devastating elsewhere in the world and so far, Americans seem to be physically stronger.

I thought L&O was doing a great job on Casey until the cause of death came in as measles.  Of course they did have Casey admitting to spanking the child and thinking that she caused her death.

Yes it is better EXCEPT I am not eating much at all.  The medicine makes my stomach hurt and I cannot put much food on my stomach.  But the good thing is I have lost almost 10 pounds since this started.  My BP is staying fairly low.  No more "psychedelic" flashes of light or dizziness.  I go next week for an iodine thryroid test.  It runs in my family and I talked to my older sister last night.  Hers is under control with medication so I guess I need to get ready for one more prescription.

So thanks for asking.  Yes I do feel better except for the hurting of my stomach and I will talk to the doctor about that when I go back after my tests.

It important that you have that aching tummy checked out.  It could be all the meds have created an ulcer.

What a strange and scary time we are living in when our President tells us to wash our hands, cover our mouths when we cough, and stay home when you are ill.  Basic things we should all know but something if neglected could take our lives. 

I guess it's back to the basics...

Handwashing is and always has been the best defense against most communicable diseases.  Most people don't think about it.  Most people go to work sick, send their kids to school sick, go to church sick.  Those are the things that spread disease.

I wash my hands constantly.  When I get to work that is the first thing I do in the morning.  After traveling on the bus and touching all the doors I can't wait to wash my hands.  In fact I take a paper towel to open the door because I don't want to touch anything until I eat my breakfast.  My boss laughs at me.

I'm laughing at the folks who wash their hands a lot. I do too. I've always done it, but I'll say this........

My hands look older than any other part of me! I try to put lotion on after I wash them, but between cleaning solutions and repetitive soap usage ............. they're a mess!   ::MonkeyNoNo::

Get a mixture of retin A from your Dermatoligist.  Your hands look older because the skin is thinner on the backs of your hands.  Also, normally your throat and decollette.  Put this on every other nite, and keep a sunscreen on them in the daytime. 

They just explain swine flu on Tv.  It originates in a bird having the flu, the bird droppings get into the pig food, the pig gets the flu, the pig sneezes on something, the human gets that on his hands and touches his face, he already has human flu, then he gets the swine flu???  Who knew????  I think the most fasicnation disease in our history was the Bubonlic PLague.  Can you imagine death carts going door to door and them calling out, "Bring out your dead"??  And mothers would not nurse their own babies because they were afraid???  Amasing stuff, that.

And I just mispelled three words in two posts.  It must be my bedtime.  So Good nite.

Would the type of foods you are eating cause the upset stomach?
Sometimes certain foods can cause it even though you use to be able to eat the food.
Try and figure out if after you eat something if that is the one causing a problem.

Hi GE - you're in North Texas, right?  My children had planned on going for a 3 day weekend trip to New Braunfels, TX, and found out tonight that all schools there have been closed due to 1 confirmed case and multiple possible cases throughout the public and private school.  And just heard on Greta that there are cases in a number of different countries.  Scary.

Jackie I read today that the docs that are coming out next will be of L.P, Rob, Tracey's interviews and video of CA car at Amscot. My understanding it shows she drove it in there and was no help from anyone (pushing)it there because she ran out of gas.  ::MonkeyConfused::
