I agree, justins.  His appearance has always seems just a little off in some way.  Too big for no muscle tone or something.  Head too large maybe?  Don't know exactly but something is not normal there.

How many teeth are in that left side one?   :shock: Reminds me of a shark mouth.  He always seems to smile much bigger on the left side, probably from wanting to smirk or laugh out loud at how he is fooling everybody.

Really interesting.  Hope Dana sees these.  Klaas, maybe we can remind him where they are so he can see them, too.

not provide information ? If you were a suspect who claimed innocence, wouldn't you want your name cleared ? Wouldn't you want your side of the story to be heard ?

Just from what I have read, just little bits, if you don't give the info to them, they will find out anyway and not have your point of view and could interpret some things as not in your favor.
I would like some of the bs settled once and for all. The lie that she ran away before in Costa Rica and now might be in Costa Rica. It was before J2K were arrested and they were trying to make Natalee out to be something she was not to deflect the attention away from themselves.

A few days ago she ended up in the ER for 10 hours.  Turns out she has a 10" ovarian cyst.  It was removed on Saturday.

Oh My!!! Well I will certainly keep her in my prayers!  I hope all has turned out ok.

Good afternoon good Monkeys. I have read through the opening pages and find info on MIP6 very interesting. That myspace link posted is likely his sons. I can add that I don't  know his exact age, but would guess he is around 50?
The several facts I can tell you since I recently had  communicated with him at BFN is that he said he recently sold 3 houses that he flipped. he said all were sold for high prices to American buyers. In other words he was inferring that the economy in aruba is still very good.

That doesn't mean there isn't one closer to C&C, though.

Moomba's is the bar on the beach at the Marriott.  It is not the bar that J2K stopped briefly at as it's not near CnC.

Florida - I believe Mark Purcell is simply being "outed" as someone who has been paid to work the forums, just like Julia Renfro.

MIP6/Mark Purcell is a director at the Marriott.  I believe his son has worked as a bartender at Moomba's.  Mark's wife works for a company that has the information Kiosk Le Concierge  at the Marriott hotel.  I also believe that Julia Renfro's husband is the director of the same company.

I am looking for Anna or anyone else with experience raising puppies...

This weekend my husband and I adopted two puppies ("chihuahua/terrier mix") from the same litter.  They are one boy and one girl and I am looking for advice about raising sibling puppies together.  I know it can be difficult but we love both of them so much and want to see them succeed.  If anyone has any advice or just encouragement it would be great!  They are sharing a crate right now but we plan on buying separate ones this week since most information I found said that is best.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.  If anyone sees Anna later and could direct her to this post I would really appreciate it.

i have gotten puppies that are brothers and it has always worked out great ! and i mean great !!!

i had 10 dogs once,
4 that were mine and one that had a litter... i kept one of the pups

which gave us a total of 5 that were ours

What happened????  This deVries was the greatest investigative reporter on the face of the earth before he started his investigation.  Now that it looks as though he is not as delusional as some had hoped, he is persona non grata just overnight!

So I guess we can safely assume that the wrong questions are being asked to the wrong people who have no excuses nor defenses for what they have done.  There is no way in heck to make that investigation look anywhere close to legit.  It was insane from the beginning and I do hope he exposes those that made it so.  That should be illegal even in Aruba but with no corruption laws, conveniently, there may be nothing illegal about what they did.  It may well be perfectly legal in that place or at least have no existing laws to prevent it.   :evil:

hubbylove wow congratulations on your new puppies. They are so much fun and full of energy.

I have had chihuahua's for the last 15 years and I can tell you they have been the joy of my life. My daughter also has a chihuahua/jackrussel mix. They are very high strong and very entellegent and alert. I can tell you that no one will ever enter your home without you knowing it. LOL

Chihuahua's are like pack dogs. They do better in groups. I am very happy to hear you have siblings or at least you opt to adopt 2 instead of one. Small dogs don't do well alone. Their life span is shorter when they are an only pet. Chihuahua's don't mind sharing bedding. Infact they usually like to curl up next to each other, at least all 4 of mine did. They also love to sleep up under baby blankets. All 4 of mine usually would curl up underneath anything they could to hide their faces while sleeping.

They are very smart and learn quick. I suggest not to feed them can food but to use dry puppy food for the health of their teeth and heart. Puppy food is also full of calcium as well. Small breeds also tend to have what is called, "inverted sneezes". It's like an asthma attack. So don't be alarmed if they ever do this. They appear to be having problems breathing. Just speak to them gently, they will be just fine.

As far as potty breaking them, start asap. Take them out every hour to every two hours if possible. If not possible I suggest buying those floor wet mats for them to potty on while away.

Hope this helps a little and congratulations once again. Puppies are so wonderful!

Anna, Mark Purcell post over at BFN at MIP6 and also over at Refugees at DocHolliday(sp). He's bashed both Natalee and Beth and Dave over on Refugees and some over on BFN.
In the past I read MP state that Natalee was a slut and whore and she had coming to her what happened. He called her a slut for allowing someone lick a jello shot off her belly without looking at Joran for licking on her belly and calling him the same. Calling Natalee a whore for leaving with 3 strangers and it was her own fault for what happen to her. He also calls Beth a media whore and bad parent and says that she should be sued for money fraud for collecting donations for personal use. Said that both Beth and Dave were bad parents for allowing an 18 yr old go to Aruba and drink and act wild ect ect.  Michelle's Boycott Aruba-Justice for Natalee had a lot on MIP6, Reality and such on this subject a couple months ago.

Later in the show, he asked you to call.  Said he was sorry he couldn't talk when you called.  He called you by your real name - Robots!   :P  So you were part of the show anyways.   :lol:  I give my first name when I call.

Found it!  I've been trying to remember the former FBI agent (female) who commented on the Holloway case on MSNBC a long time ago.  What stood out in my mind is something she said about it taking 40 years to train law enforcement to treat victims of sex crimes as victims, rather than blaming them for their attire or behavior.  I'll post this on the Dana's guest wish list, but I thought I'd give her a plug here.  I found her name when I remembered she wrote a book!   :idea:

Robin, Dave and Beth were there. I was told prior to the meeting that Jug would probably not be there because one of his sons had an important event and he had to choose between the two. I dont know if that’s just the PR story or if it’s actually the case. I really dont know what the deal is with Beth and Jug.

It’s my understanding that there were only a handful of bloggers there. I know Debbie from BFN Was there and none of the other names were familiar to me. The boycott blog people were not there.

Was the agenda anything like the one posted? For that matter, what was the agenda?
No the agenda was not like what was posted — and that never was the agenda. That was something prepared by a guy named “don”, basically just some of his own thoughts and had nothing to do with the meeting. There was never an agenda that was distributed or even talked about that I am aware of. There were a couple of purposes I believe — one was for the family to meet with lawyers and that was not anything that was done in the presence of any blog people. It was to evaluate what can be done going forward mostly for the purpose of getting information released from ALE.
Part of the purpose of meeting with the others was to answer some questions and clear up some issues and basically PR.

Did they come up with any plans?
Any plans that were made were with the lawyers, etc. were not made known to anyone else. I believe it was productive but I dont know anything specific that I can speak to.

What was said about what is posted on the boards?Again, there was a lengthy list of questions — issues that are often discussed on blogs and the family addressed those and answered questions. In general, it seems like Beth in particular was not aware of much of the misinformation that is going around. Dave was more up to speed on that stuff.

Do they (family) read the boards? Did they mention any particular posters, good or bad?
I dont believe anything bad was said about any board in particular or any particular poster. I know that thanks were given to Debbie and BFN but that is all I know about that. Debbie gave a presentation also.

Is it true that Beth signed autographs?
If she signed any autographs it was at specific requests from people but it was not a planned part of the meeting and there was not time set aside for anything like that. If she did, it would have been in the hotel lobby after the meeting. That’s exactly what I was told.

Is it true that questions were not allowed from the panelists, unless they were approved beforehand?
No, I do not believe that is true. From what I understand the family very much wanted to address questions and clear up misunderstandings. But keep in mind the only people there were people who were supportive of the family so it’s not like anyone was going to be hateful and ask something really controversial.

Did they ever say for what REASON this meeting was held?
See above.

Did anyone try to “crash” the meeting?
Not that anyone is aware of but someone called the news media and had them there when Dave and Robin arrived that morning. No one from the family called or invited any media. Also, there were a couple of attempts from “crashers” to call the hotel a couple days before and cancel the meeting

Jug attended his son's Senior Day football event at University of the South. It is expected and almost required that seniors have at least 1 parent there, the players are all introduced to the crowd at halftime and their families are there on the field with them also. It is exactly where Jug SHOULD have been that night. The three of them (Dave, Robin, Beth) were more than adequate to answer questions.

Go to the thread at BFN and see the picture posted there. It speaks VOLUMES. There is no problem whatsoever with that family.

I have a question. The Kalpoe lawyer, is it the same one they've had since the beginning? The same one that Paulus got (and paid for)?

I think David Kock has been on the case since the beginning, but he only represented one of the Ks. It was a few months later that he took up for both of them. So, yea...same guy.

Paulus hired an attorney for the Kalpoes after the June 3 meeting with Nadira. I'm not sure who it was.  I seem to remember that they had one attorney but later obtained separate attorneys due to potential conflicts.

I wonder just how long he's been involved with the escort services and if he knew about Amy Bradley.  

Amy Bradley was there as a "Guest Escort" back in 2004 from what the site has above the pictures posted of the escort girls. Amy was about 29 or 30yrs old then. She is 32yrs old now.

FBI or Interpol needs to speak with this Charles Croes. I think this man is a dangerous man.

Morning everyone...sorry I fell asleep last night and forgot to hug Nemo.  Hey Tidycat, I saw you were in late last night.  Stop by again tonight and I will try to stay awake.  

Hey, DK, what did you use to remove those trojans.  I have had one forever and it won't go away.  Ate my IE, had to switch to firefox, just get online again.  Frijole told me that is what I had and she was right, only she didn't tell me how to get rid of it.  My antivirus stuff, didn't work on it and I have yet to find the one that will.

That's the problem, they are reviewing ALE evidence...the Dutch investigators will come to the same conclusions...no one will be charged...the 3 will get away with it...

So if they close the case after they review it does it mean Beth will get the files to look at.  I wonder if the Dutch are going to return the information to Aruba or make a copy just in case it disappears.

Who knows where the information will go (what there is of it) when it's all over?  It's not as if one can get a straight honest answer about anything to do with this case.

The only thing Arlene knows is that she helped her cousin and tried to tell everyone we don't understand their laws.  That horse face knew all along her cousin Guido was involved.

I know I sound very pessimistic.  Sorry, but I don't see anything else happening in this case unless someone talks...I don't know who that is at this point.  It could be anyone, maybe even someone we don't know is involved yet.  Although, I still think the main 3 know what happened and where she was removed to and where her body is.  Well, maybe not the K2, but Joran knows.  I hope the guilt eventually gets to him... but I won't hold my breath. :roll:

I agree with you Lala's.  I don't think guilt will get to anyone it will be more like disgust.  Disgust by they way the perps are handling themselves in the public eye (Joran & Co.) and rubbing it in everyone face.  Disgust at the way Aruba handled the whole situation and now the people on the island are paying for it.

Update on SunFreak - I spoke to her this a.m., and just called back - as anticipated, she was discharged from the hospital today.

I know we are all concerned about Sunfreak and this emergency surgery.  I suspect it was more than first thought involved and now she has incision and all that to deal with.

I am sure she has someone lined up to help with her puppies but I want to ask the monkeys in the Atlanta area to at least offer to bring dog food in case she should be running low.  As an owner of several dogs, I know that is one of my biggest concerns living in a remote area that I will be sick or we will have ice storm and I will not be able to get dog food or have any delivered.  Just asking her might be a comfort to know if she does run low someone will bring more.

I converted an old chest deep freezer into dog food storage and keep a huge supply on hand just in case but even that would run low eventually.

Just a thought of something we, meaning you monkeys in Atlanta, could actually do to help.

They look great!  Nice shiny coats usually means pretty good general health, too.  This evening I will post in the Monkey Lounge some things to keep in mind with new puppiese and a list of sources on the internet for great information.

That's my fav.  Go to health and nutrition and see all kinds of good information.  Optimal Health Nutrition is listed in the drop down menu and I love that article on feeding.  I do feed mine some raw meat about three times a week but not every meal as it is hard to do for me.  Give Omega Fatty Acids to every dog on the planet with products such as Linatone or Mrs Smith's coat formula and they will have much better general health.  Fish oil capsules are an alternative to that as well.

New pups, give some probiotics every three weeks such as BeneBac for good digestion.  

By doing those two supplements, my dogs are just never sick much at all.  The rest you can find on that one website but there are many other good ones.  Whole Dog Journal is the publication I read and save and is the best.  www.wholedogjournal.com I think will take you to it.

Take out every two hours to housetrain.

And basically, that's it.  All you add is love and those babies are old enough to sleep through most of the night once they settle in.

DKpen is right that most companion dogs do much better if there are two to keep each other company when you are away and to have  playmate.  Some enjoy being an only child and getting all the attention but for most, the added company is better.

I think Bryan Burrough (Vanity Fair article) had a very nice trip to Aruba.

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure VF paid air fare, hotel, and meal allowance, or some such. But I think he was entertained to the max.

Precious pups, I voted this a.m. also and mine was a large heavy-duty piece of paper also and a special pen!  No more hole punching - I blame Florida.  

I don't know if DeVries is going to solve the case, but I think he's going to expose some things going on down there.  What he comes up with will be interesting to see.  Whether its drugs, date rape drugs, corruption in the legal system or something specific about the suspects, their families and/or their friends, who knows.  

I do hope authorities can look into the Charles Chroes/Amy Bradley thing.  It would be something if an alert and dedicated monkey broke the case.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their sweet comments and very helpful advice and links (Anna  :D ) about our little pups.  We are taking them out at least every two hours and last night they only woke us up once to go out!

I'm home from the hospital.  It sure feels good to be posting again. My surgery went extremely well with no post-op complications.  Evidently the timing was perfect too b/c the dang thing had twisted on itself 5 times cutting off its blood supply, but had not become gangrenous yet.  I had a female surgeon who I found very worth trusting, and a great nursing staff. Even the hospital food was good.  :shock:   But there is no place like home, and I did worry about all my little 4 legged babies.  Thank you for all your prayers and your concern.  And a special thanks to MsMarple for keeping me informed on the case and about all you beautiful monkeys!

My oldest son learned to read very early before he started school.  We were standing in line to see a movie and there was a poster up for The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.  He had a very loud, clear voice and read it as The Best Little Warehouse in Texas.  Everyone laughed so naturally he read it again and the rest of the poster, etc. and got lots of attention being so small, only about four years old.
