Media Guy told me that there was no scandal concerning GA leaving Trumbull County Sheriff's Office.  He was laid off and started his used car lot.
He had the option of going back to sheriff's office and chose not to go.  That's it...nothing adverse on his record either.

As far as his friend Jim....Media Guy's source would not give him a last name because Jim is still on the force.

Media Guy's source is extremely credible and would most definitely know these facts.  Nothing really to chew on - but at least we know the facts.

Sounds to me like Congressman Grayson needs some more e-mails, phone calls and letters. Of course, he has probably decided what he is going to do and to he77 with the constituents.  JMO

Why did Rick, Cindy's brother say that he could not discuss why GA left the police
dept. that it would come out in court. This was said on a blog one nite when Rick was
answering questions about all the A's right after KC was arrested.

JSM - just getting caught up from the last thread.  The smart monkeys were correct, the financial crimes will not figure into the murder trial.

However, LE WILL use the tapes and receiptes from Target and other stores to establish a pattern of buying during the 31 days.  It will be strong evidence that she bought beer and bras, but not one single item for Caylee.  They will not have to say that it was obtained for another crime, just that it is evidence of neglect at the least, and cold hearted murder at the most.   ::MonkeyCool::

Steel..I think they will do that plus, I believe they will bring Amy to the stand and have her discuss those checks were not given to Casey and the whole story of how they were stolen.  Which will also go show that she was not using stolen money for Caylee..but for herself.

Mary..what is interesting to me is the letter from Grayson that Grandma(I believe) posted here is very vague on exactly who is getting the money.  It is for an automated phone center to send out an amber alert type deal when children are missing.  He mentions the name of an organization that is doing that but not in the Orlando area.  Then he mentions the money beig donated in the name of Caylee Marie Anthony program ..well it is the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation.  Which has Cindy as the founder and top executive and the address is Hopespring Dr. 

I will be writing him at his DC office and faxing the pertinent info..along with a call prior to let him know what is coming and I expect a response promptly.  We'll see. I'll probably get the same response everyone else has.

I thought there may have been more to GA's leaving the force too.  I remember Rick's posts about it.  I also know that since the 1970's when the steel mills closed, Trumbull County has had many budget shortfalls.  They always lay off LE when this happens.  I also believe that what Media Guy told me tonight will be the "official position" by Trumbull County Sheriff's Office if they are questioned about George's termination.  Media Guy said he was told all records from that era were destroyed in a flood several years ago, but several deputies from George's time are still with the department.

Numbers Girl, WTG, thank you for completing your mission and reporting back!  Good job.  Maybe George really was just laid off due to budget cuts or something. Bet there is still some dirt somewhere to be found.  Wonder on what basis the county selected the deputies to be let go... Thanks again for going that extra mile, I know a bunch of Monkeys who appreciate it.  And I know we will keep digging, that's the Monkey way!

Darla, what a beautiful private memorial you have created for Caylee.  I liked what you said in the last thread about the hummingbirds that flit and play around Caylee's roses.  I do think she would like that.

JSM, WTG, you ask good questions (and christened some ugly people with new animal nicknames).  Somewhere in my notes I have all of Casey's other charges and what kind of sentence she could likely receive if convicted for them... wish I could find it; the potential prison time was substantial.  In Florida, the District Attorney or State Attorney normally elects to go with the more serious charges (i.e. homicide/murder).  However, because Casey was already previously charged with those other lesser crimes, those charges are on reserve, and there is no statute of limitations issue.  IOW, if by some horrendous twist of fate Casey were to be acquitted of murder, she could still be tried on the other charges. Also, if she's convicted and sentenced to anything less than LWOP, she could IMO be tried on the other charges and sentenced to additional time, either concurrently or consecutively, to delay any possible parole.  ICBW, but this is my understanding.

Thanks Trimm for posting the new motions filed re: Dominic Casey.  Once again, the plot thickens.  This answers some of those questions we were tossing around after the hearing.  And the presence of a new attorney -- and this particular one -- create new questions.  I did not know that he had posted his phone records on his web site!  How strange.

And I'm proud of the Monkeys who are quick on their keyboards and ready to spring into action on behalf of truth, decency, and justice.  IMO the A's have reached a new low with this latest escapade, and I hope they and their nasty partners in crime will be held accountable.  I agree with Monkeys who feel that it is only a matter of time before something really bad happens, if some action is not taken to shut down these people's bizarre behavior.

I'd be interested to know what anyone is able to learn about the Congressman's program.  Do we know for sure that funds would be siphoned to the Scamthonys' bogus foundation?  I wasn't sure on that one.  Somebody who has the scoop, please post it.  TIA.  Sure took the congressman's office awhile to come up with that canned response email, didn't it?

Evening, all!  Catching up a tad on the last thread and have a question for our more legal-savvy monkeys.  I'm wondering if the friendly FL State Trooper who intervened in the Anthonys-Milsteads chase checked Cindy or George's vehicle for said cross.  IMO, the 911 call Lois placed, as well as the proximity of all three parties on that stretch of road would have been grounds for a Just-Cause search of the vehicle (not too mention Milstead's lights-flashing or not-with regards to his previous arrest for impersonating an officer).  Were the Anthony vehicles checked?  If not, WHY?  I would be filing an official complaint if I were Lois.  If the vehicles were searched, was anything seized?  Again, no search-I would be filing a negligence complaint against the responding State Trooper.  If Cindy/George had the stolen cross in their possession, they should have been arrested for Possession of stolen property, as well as Trespassing.  I would have been pressing that officer to search their vehicles, had they nearly run me off the road and "cornered" me.  I also would have brought my video cam for surveillance.

A private investigator working on behalf of Casey Anthony and her family will turn over some -- but not all -- of his cell phone records, despite a court order instructing him to do so, Local6.com is reporting.

Dominic Casey searched the woods off Suburban Drive in east Orange County about a month before Caylee Anthony's remains were found nearby in December, the Web site said.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A private investigator working on behalf of Casey Anthony and her family will turn over some -- but not all -- of his cell phone records, despite a court order instructing him to do so.

Dominic Casey searched the woods off Suburban Drive in east Orange County about a month before Caylee Anthony's remains were found nearby in December.

Casey later filed a complaint with the Florida Bar against Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, claiming that Baez told him not to call 911 if he discovered Caylee's body.

Last week, a judge ordered the private investigator to turn over his cell phone records to Anthony's defense team, but in newly filed court papers, Casey claims he has not yet received the request.

He said he will not release any phone records relating to his work with Anthony or her attorneys, claiming such information is confidential.

Anthony, 23, remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of Caylee, who was 2 years old when she was reported missing last July.

An unnamed buyer spent $500 on eBay today for a dog-eared copy of a high-school yearbook with pictures of Casey Anthony inside.

The 2003 yearbook from Orlando's Colonial High School was advertised at about $180 early in the day, but the selling price was $499.99, plus shipping and insurance.

A revised online description of the yearbook refers to Anthony, 23, as an "accused murderer" and "Tot Mom" -- the name HLN personality Nancy Grace uses to refer to the east Orange County woman. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, who went missing last summer. A meter reader found the child's body in woods near her home December
The state is seeking the death penalty.

The book , titled "Our Lives" and subtitled "2003 Sentry," did not belong to Anthony. But she is pictured in the travel and tourism club and as a member of the junior class, according to the listing.

The seller, in an e-mail to the Orlando Sentinel, said she buys yearbooks "randomly" at estate auctions and has previously sold yearbooks featuring famous and infamous people such as football player Daunte Culpepper, retired baseball player Bucky Dent, the late Democratic Sen. John Connally, radio and TV personality Casey Kasem and convicted murderer Mark David Chapman, who shot former Beatle John Lennon.

The Anthony yearbook, she wrote, had been on sale since May 15.

It's unclear whether the buyer is trying to make an investment, thinking the yearbook will go up in price, or whether the person just wants a piece of the national frenzy surrounding the case. If the buyer was simply looking for photos of Anthony, they are plentiful online.

Im all caught up reading, I wasnt around late afternoon or last night.   It dawned on me that today is the deadline that Judge Strickland set for Bozo to make arrangements regarding phone records (he said 1 week-that's today) -- will be watching to see what is filed in that regard or if the Judge denies the existing motion if those conditions were not met by business day end today.

As far as Dominic Casey's communications under Bozo's employ, there is a dispute as to when he left that employ (Oct IRRC) & Bozo making a claim of "work product" even beyond that period as a reason why he was trying to seal DC's records after it was exposed he was sent to the Suburban woods where he was caught on videotape digging & probing as opposed to his original excuse that he was "checking out a teen hangout according to Kio Marie's statement."  DC also filed a complaint with the Florida Bar against Bozo because he alleges that Bozo directly told him not to call 911 had he discovered the remains.   Interestingly enough, as a result of this all getting exposed we learned that DC had an agreement with Bozo's firm, Casey Anthony herself & the Anthonys - that on its face seems like collision, a purposeful act to CYA's with confidentiality clauses & yet seems to be a possible conflict of interest argument, so I'm very curious what the judge will say on that point.   DC did release his phone records for November to show who he spoke to, specifically to prove he spoke to that psychic BUT I am going to venture to say he had two cells (IIRC Hoover eluded to that).   The reason I bring that up is that later we learned that Cindy told investigators after Dec 11th during a second search warrant of their home that she had sent someone to those woods the month before & there was sworn statements given about a meeting at the Anthony house which included the Anthonys, Bozo, Ms Swine, DC & Hoover (Conman arriving later) where Hoover specifically asked if the Anthonys were aware DC went to those woods & he was told they were.

Regarding Bozo's bar complaints, IMHO I think he's in a fair amount of hot water & could possibly be facing some significant admonishment if not taken off the case altogether - I just wish that would also mean that the entire defense team that was assembled by him as lead counsel & thru his firm would have to relinquish their representation as a result - sure it would delay the trial but man would that not be a huge monkey wrench....ahh what a passing wishful thinking thought that was.

Speaking of DC, he was facing foreclosure on his home too, wonder what the status of that is.  Amazing how the Anthony camp seem to all face foreclosures, financial debts, previous court actions, some even criminal history...amazing!

Did anybody watch Fatal Beauty: 15 Most Notorious Women last night on E!  ?    It is a countdown of ordinary women whose notorious crimes have made them pseudo-celebrities and guess who was #1?   Unbelievable how she is being made a celebrity!!!  As far as calling her a Fatal Beauty she sure isn't a #10 !

It seems like the whole nasty nest of them clamp on to each other. I have never seen so many people with so many pending legal problems in a huge group before in my life. Too bad this is about a murdered baby, and this conglomeration is defending her murderer.

It will be interesting whether Bozo files again today. I am sure he will use every delay tactic there is in the world, as he has always done.

They are really keeping the escapade of the cross stealing and subsequent chasing through the neighborhood on the down low.. I am interested what the trooper has to say for himself.

I've got a question--has NG or Jane VM mentioned anything about the Lois/Anthony kerfuffle?  I couldn't watch last night but the teasers didn't say anything and I thought surely this would be a bombshell.

I half/way watched both of them, but I don't think anything was mentioned. Mostly it was about the Coleman case, and Octomom. The only thing I remember seeing was about how cruel and awful the jail personnel thought Casey's treatment was on the day that Caylee remains were found.

Numbers, do you know anything about a Major James R Phillips with the Trumbull County Sheriff's Dept? He has been there long enough to have known George, and would have probably attained the rank of Major by this time. I have been searching for a pic of him. He is one that a pic is not available on the Sheriff's website. The age would be about right too. JMO

Yes, media response & Bozo was given a week to make agreement arrangements for phone records from those that objected as to time frame & materiality - Judge "Stan the Man" said that if he did not receive a response he would deny the original motion.  The media already filed (safe to say Orlando Sentinel, as they usually do-others could have or may follow).

I totally agree, Capp. She is average looking at best. Because she wears short skirts and tight shirts with push-up bras, does not make her beautiful. That very evil picture that you posted of her the other day shows what lie in her soul, and it is ugly.

Given what they had to work with in order to make such a list, Casey was probably the better looking out of the entire murdering bunch.  Its like saying "she is the prettiest of the ugly people".

I have a question if someone woudl be so kind as to answer.  I was wondering when Rev. Grund is having the memorial for Caylee at JBP?  Of course I'm so far away and can't attend but want to do something myself here. 

Boo if you read this would you tell Rev. Grund, Jesse and his family that I applaud them and that little Caylee was lucky to have them in her life.  I hope during the slore's trial that they along with other people that loved Caylee will sit behind the prosecution in support of justice for Caylee since we know that GA, CA and LA will be behind the slore. 

I don't watch JVM but NG didn't mention the KC case at all.    I won't be on here later either.  I'm taking my granddaughter to get her pictures taken in gymnastics outfit and a summer outfit.  She hasn't had pictures professionally for a year.

An unnamed buyer spent $500 on eBay today for a dog-eared copy of a high-school yearbook with pictures of Casey Anthony inside.

The 2003 yearbook from Orlando's Colonial High School was advertised at about $180 early in the day, but the selling price was $499.99, plus shipping and insurance.

A revised online description of the yearbook refers to Anthony, 23, as an "accused murderer" and "Tot Mom" -- the name HLN personality Nancy Grace uses to refer to the east Orange County woman. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, who went missing last summer. A meter reader found the child's body in woods near her home December.

The state is seeking the death penalty.

The book , titled "Our Lives" and subtitled "2003 Sentry," did not belong to Anthony. But she is pictured in the travel and tourism club and as a member of the junior class, according to the listing.

The seller, in an e-mail to the Orlando Sentinel, said she buys yearbooks "randomly" at estate auctions and has previously sold yearbooks featuring famous and infamous people such as football player Daunte Culpepper, retired baseball player Bucky Dent, the late Democratic Sen. John Connally, radio and TV personality Casey Kasem and convicted murderer Mark David Chapman, who shot former Beatle John Lennon.

The Anthony yearbook, she wrote, had been on sale since May 15.

It's unclear whether the buyer is trying to make an investment, thinking the yearbook will go up in price, or whether the person just wants a piece of the national frenzy surrounding the case. If the buyer was simply looking for photos of Anthony, they are plentiful online.

    Good morning evryone!     I've been having some computer issues so this may have already been hashed around but I didn't see it.      Why wouldn't there be an arrest or at very least, citation to the 'gang" the other night?  All of them have the potential to get violent, GA,CA and milstupid all have documented assaults in their history, they ahve a daughter that

Civil case, Casey's civil defense attorneys amended their original complaint & motion for sanctions (the nerve!  what is it about these people whining & asking for judicial punishment).  Also, they are yet again requesting that the civil matter be resolved until after Casey's murder trial.     Apparently, Kasen & company have a wax build up in their ears & they can't seem to shake those brain cells that comprehend the words NO or DENIED.

Anyone seen this?

Don't be sorry that you showed this YouTube to us. You warned us. I am upset too, but you know what? Things are so sanitized sometimes that we have no idea what these children have gone through. You can see by the looks on the faces of the police officers outside the Yates house how horrific these scenes and the reality is.

We are advocates for children, and we need to see and be reinforced that these are horrible people that can do such things to helpless children. That is what is so maddening to see the horrible situation that is going on in Caylee's murder. I don't care how mistreated Casey may have been, or abused, or browbeatened or anything else. She MADE CHOICES!! She is an evil person, and is not unique. Evil is evil!

Yes, I am crying, and frustrated and sickened to my soul. But it also make me more determined to do everything in my/our power to make sure Caylee and all the other abused children get justice. We cannot get their lives back, but we can help make their lives mean something and not just a statistic or a blip on the screen. These were precious lives..  ::MonkeyAngel::

The Orange County Sheriff's Office still needs to talk to several people before deciding whether to press charges against George and Cindy Anthony, WESH-Channel 2 reported tonight.

WESH's Bob Kealing broke the story about a couple of women filing a criminal complaint against the Anthonys. The women say Cindy Anthony took down a cross honoring granddaughter Caylee Anthony, then George and Cindy Anthony chased them from the Anthonys' neighborhood.

The Anthonys and their attorney, Brad Conway, "have not specifically denied" what the women say, Kealing said.
The women, Lois Peter and Denise Hill, told WESH that they will continue to put up crosses to honor the murdered toddler. "It's all for Caylee," Peter said. The two women said they are emotionally invested in Caylee because they had searched for the missing toddler. Casey Anthony, George and Cindy's daughter, is charged with the first-degree murder of Caylee.

I agree too.  As painful as this is, it is the reality of what some children (and adults) suffer.  To sanitize it because we would rather not face it does more harm to victims.  On that same note, I abhor sensationalism too.  Reality is where it's at IMO.

Thanks, NoRose...it's the reality of situations that moves me forward.  If a situation is depicted accurately, and we are outraged by it, I think it propels us to do something.  If a situation is sensationalized, I think it tends to desensitize us, because every single thing is blown out of proportion and subconsciously we realize this and don't respond (kind of like the boy who cried wolf).   At least that's how my brain is wired  ::MonkeyWink::

Sorry to quote myself, but I wanted to throw this out there.  Do Lois and friends have any recourse against the State Trooper?  Had I been pursued, cornered, and sought out a Police Officer who pretty much advised me to go home, I think I'd either: call 911 again on the spot and demand a second officer respond and refuse to leave the scene; or take pictures of the Anthonys and Milsteads in their vehicles (as well as their license plates), call 911 again with a road rage incident, and request a police escort to the nearest Police station.  I've witnessed road rage firsthand and honestly, it is terribly scary.  Ours was a daytime incident between 2 cars on four lane road in afterschool traffic.  It would have been much worse on a two-lane residential road at night, with no streetlights (especially with the documented anger-management issues of Dennis Milstead and the Anthonys).  State Trooper or not, there's no way I would have gone home as directed.

Hi Ispy, I don't know the answer to your question, but you've raised an interesting point.  Personally, I would be afraid to not follow a directive by LE...but that's just me.

In discussing this further with someone else, according to Lois and friends, they had to jump the curb to get away when the Anthonys and Dennis Milstead hedged them in with their vehicles.  Did the officer actually go back to the scene and examine the road or curb for tire prints?  If not, WHY?  If I were Lois, I would have returned early the next morning and photographed (or in my case, video-ed) any tire tracks/prints/marks on the roadway and the curb.  Then I would have placed a call to the Police Station from the location if necessary, asking for an officer to document the evidence.  Maybe I'm pushy, I don't know.  But I wouldn't let the Anthonys & Milstead get away with calling me a liar. 

Ispy, I would be pushy myself in that incident. Knowing a little about how LE works, I would have gotten the Trooper's name, and then requested to see a supervisor. I would have also made another 911 call to OCSO and request that they send officers to the scene, and go back to where it happened. As long as the women were not drinking and had nothing else to impair them, at the least there should have been a report made on the scene. I know there is some controversy about Lois being involved, but if she and her friend had been pursued the way they said, they deserved to be treated with more respect. They may have been scared, shocked, and speechless at the troopers attitude, and were just glad to get the heck out of there. I don't really know any more than we all do at this point, but I think there is more to the story and I hope that the Anthonys and the Millsteads get what is coming to them. If history repeats itself, though, I have my doubts. We are seeing a disturbing pattern here.   ::MonkeyNoNo::

Sweetie, you did not upset me by posting the video in the least - Ive been seeing this and worse for decades, its just sometimes it gets to ya more days than others regardless of anyone's frequency of exposure or sensitivity level.   Trust me when I tell you, I'm far from weak or naive to the actual reality of child abuse, sexual assault & murder.  That being said, I have a heart & certain days it aches more so than others, today is one of those days.

My upset & outrage is that it keeps happening, actually on a significant increase yet all too often the victim is put to the side or forgotten (not here blessed be) and all we hear in these cases is all about the defendant, their excuses & rights.  On a personal note Im here, along with many that share similar life adversities that can attest to the fact that there is NO excuse under the sun adequate enough to explain why one would CHOOSE to do this to an innocent child, especially one that has felt an ounce of that pain personally.   I've heard the psycho babble, I've read countless opinions of disorders & ones that are made up to specifically excuse a behavior until I'm blue in the face - explanations & opinions are what they are, excuses well I've been fresh out of patience with that for far too long & have NO tolerance whatsoever.

We hear so much about crimes, because of the internet and cable. I've been thinking, of course filicide, rape, pedophiles this has always been, but because of mass communication we hear all about it. I'd be curious to know how much worse has it become, say from a hundred years ago. How much crime went unnoticed, for various reasons? You are so right that we hear more now due to cable ongoing news cycles, internet services, cells, etc.   But beyond that it is a fact that these crimes are on an increase.   I refuse to date myself in saying this because I'm forever 29 but history tells the story that there was a day that a victim dared not speak out on family violence because they were brainwashed to believe it would be taboo & taint the family name (heavens forbid).   Additionally, unlike today services were not readily available for assistance as they are today & YET we have an increase in these crimes, it makes it all the more outrageous.

I figured you didn't want to  ::MonkeyWink:: I remember back in the day, when a girl in the family became pregnant and unmarried, off she would be sent, to come back months later. Yes, many services are available, but of course you can't force someone to get help. I don't know, all the violent video games, and all the porn on the internent, etc. For most people this wouldn't phase them to actually go and commit a crime, by playing these games or watching porn, but I believe for some people this just sets them off.

Impersonating a police officer
Harassment
Even possibly Terroristic Threats depending on what Milsteads/Anthonys said that may have included a threat to cause bodily harm or death

Just keeping it real, there are no injuries, emotional distress not to the level it will be life altering - little to no merit for a lawsuit.  Although, she may need an attorney for representation of criminal charges and/or  if George has the stupidity to counterclaim his lie that he was almost run over.    Lois is lucky because judging by previous conduct Milstead wouldn't have thought twice to commit an assault & battery (according to her he got out of his vehicle first & confronted her & the others with her).

I had emailed Diane when I read about her book a couple months ago. She said the book (her focus) was going to be more about Casey and Caylee before Caylee was murdered. She was trying to interview friends and family that knew Casey growing up. I will say she wasn't having a whole lot of luck with family. (No surprise there) I guess we'll see what she has uncovered from Casey's past. Again she did say she really had little to no involvement in the book's title. She had a deadline of May from the publisher.

Assault by auto   (NOTE:  no injuries in this incident)

In NJ it breaks down like this:

Assault by Auto Law

In order for an individual to be found guilty of assault by auto in NJ, he or she must: (1) be the operator of a car or other motor vehicle; (2) engage in reckless conduct; (3) cause an accident; and (4) cause injury to another as a result of this conduct. Reckless conduct involves actions manifesting extreme indifference to the welfare of others and can be established through, for example, speeding under N.J.S.A. 39:4-97 or reckless driving under N.J.S.A. 39:4-96. Recklessness is conclusively established for purposes of assault by auto where an accused is convicted of drunk driving under N.J.S.A. 39: 4-50 or refusal to submit to a breath test under N.J.S.A. 39:4-50.4. It is therefore very important that a lawyer be skilled in NJ dwi when handling an alcohol related assault by auto case.
Disorderly Persons Offense
Assault by auto is a disorderly persons offense under N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(c)(1) where the reckless conduct results in "bodily injury". If an individual consciously disregards the risk of injury to others and this results in some form of injury to another, then he can be convicted of a disorderly persons offense of assault by auto. Bodily injury is essentially established if a person suffers any form of injury even a contusion or cut. A disorderly persons offense involves up to six (6) months in jail, fines, penalties and probation.
Fourth Degree Crime
If an individual operates an automobile recklessly and it results in "serious bodily injury" then he can be convicted of Fourth Degree assault by auto. The distinction between a fourth degree and disorderly persons prosecution hinges on the extent of the injury resulting to others; if the injury is "serious" then it is a Fourth Degree charge whereas the case involves a disorderly persons offense where the situation is limited to simple bodily injury. Where an individual is convicted of Fourth Degree assault by auto, he is exposed to up to eighteen (18) months of jail.
Third Degree Crime
Assault by auto is a Third Degree criminal offense where "serious bodily injury" results from a DWI related accident. In other words, if an individual is involved in a dwi related accident which results in serious injury to another, he can be convicted of Third Degree assault by auto. A Third Degree offense involves jail of five (5) to ten (10).
Second Degree Crime
A third degree assault by auto is enhanced to a Second Degree offense when it is committed in a School Zone. Second Degree assault by auto involves ten (10) to twenty (20) years of jail exposure.

The NJ statute pertaining to this is N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1c   - Florida will be the same or similar, dont have the statute # right now

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse has haunted her parents and detectives for more than three years.

Investigators are taking a close look at James Hataway who is a prime suspect in the disappearance of Tracy Ocasio. Hataway may be linked to as many as six cases in the area including 27-year-old Ocasio who disappeared last week on May 27.

Eyewitness News talked to the Kesses and Orlando detectives, looking into the Ocasio case. Jennifer's parents think there are similarities in the cases.

They say Jennifer worked in Ocoee where Hataway lives and she also frequented Metro West where Tracy Ocasio was last seen alive.

James Hataway, 28, who is the focus of investigators in two disappearances and possibly four assaults, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and police say he could be the man who was captured by a surveillance camera walking away from Jennifer Kesse's car three and a half years ago.

The suspect seen on this surveillance video was estimated to be inches shorter, but that's not stopping Orlando Police Department's full-time Kesse detective from investigating a possible connection.

"I would say there's some leeway there 5'5 to 5'11. We're not going to be held to these measurements. Our person could be taller than 5'5," said Orlando Detective Joel Wright.

Drew and Joyce Kesse had already planned to meet with Orlando police Thursday, before they ever heard Hataway's name. However, they said they are focused on figuring out a possible connection.

Jennifer used to go to the Tap Room in Metro West, where police believe Ocasio was last seen alive with Hataway.

"That is Jennifer's old neighborhood. She lived next door to the Tap Room there," said Drew Kesse.

"She worked in Ocoee for four years," said Joyce Kesse.

Hataway has willingly given Ocoee detectives a DNA sample. He admits to being in Tracy Ocasio's car, but says it was long before she disappeared.

If investigators find Tracy, his DNA would be very helpful in figuring out whether he was involved in her disappearance.

Orlando police don't believe they have enough of a DNA sample in the Kesse case to get any match.

"We've had ups and downs before," said Joyce.

Ocoee police are getting help from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in the case. They are using sonar to search areas that are known dumping grounds and are planning to use dive team to aide in the search.

It is the a Colonial High School yearbook from 2004, when Anthony was a senior. According to the seller, the book features several photos of Anthony, including from pajama day and '70s day.

The bidding starts at $259.99.

A 2003 Colonial High yearbook was sold for $500 to a company that sells other collectibles, according to an e-mail to WESH 2 News.

Others have tried to sell items associated with the case, such as a Casey Anthony voodoo doll and a doll called Caylee Sunshine.

Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her daughter, Caylee, who was 2 when the family reported her missing last summer. Caylee's body was found in Orange County woods not far from the family home in December 2008.

Capp, I've been following the news about the missing lady Ocasio.. I'm so glad that the Kesse's are looking at Hataway as being a suspect in that case.  I've been intrigued by Jennifer since she went missing, as she worked about 10 miles from me. A sad story... I have always held out hope she was alive, but by now, I'm not sure. I admire the Kesse's the way they handle themselves in public. They are a model family for anyone having a missing child/person.

Could be her I agree, but as far as Flava Mac, his "ammended" pro hac vice did NOT include the complaint against him from the CA bar, just his response, and what he did mention is inaccurate. Thank you for your prayers, sweet JSM.  It says we are under warning but the area they think it will be is about 15 miles from us.  We have never had anything like a tornado.  Can't get hold of my daughter either, so I am really anxious right now.  They told us to go to the bathroom and use pillows or a mattress or to go to the lowest part of the house.  We just have a foundation, so we are as low as we can get.  It is so odd, 4pm right now and it is dark as night.  The skies look unreal.  I guess we just wait and see what happens.....so scary.

It is scary, I usually throw the skates and the dog in the bathroom and go watch outside. I don't know where you daughter is, but if she is driving call her tell her to get to a convience store and go to their cooler. Safest place to be, been there done that. Still praying for you.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange County investigators are questioning George and Cindy Anthony in connection with a criminal complaint filed by a pair of local women Tuesday.

It all stems from an incident where the women claim Cindy Anthony took down their memorial cross to Caylee then, along with George Anthony ,chased them out of the neighborhood.

George and Cindy Anthony are the parents of Casey Anthony, who is at the Orange County Jail charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive last December.

A sheriff's spokesman said they either have questioned the Anthonys or they plan to in connection with this case, but they are still not releasing a 911 call made by the women during the alleged pursuit.

Monday night, Lois Peter and Denise Hill said they staked out the area along Suburban Drive to see who kept taking down their memorial crosses to Caylee. At around 10:30 p.m., they said they snapped a picture of George Anthony waiting in his vehicle while Cindy Anthony took down the cross. After that, the women said the Anthonys and their friends pursued them out of the neighborhood.

The Anthonys' lawyer, Brad Conway, told a different version of events and claims the women nearly ran over George Anthony.

Given the sensitivity of the situation, a sheriff's spokesman said they want to move slowly and be thorough in their investigation. He wanted to be clear that just because the Anthonys are being questioned does not mean any charges will result.

Looks like the worst is over for us now.  It is heading up to Portland.  I finally heard from my daughter, she was in Walmart, just about a mile from me.  They all stayed in the store till the tornado warning was over.  Now she is just anxious for her hubby to go get her babies from the other grandma, her power went out.  Ours has stayed on so far. A funnel cloud just about touched down in Keizer about 5 miles from me, other than that no other tornadoes.  Interstate Five, came to a complete stop right here at the Salem intersection.  Visibility was zero.  We rarely get even small storms so this tornado warning was about the biggest thing to happen to Oregon in my lifetime.  Thanks for all the prayers and caring....I love being a monkey.  ::MonkeyAngel::
