I have a couple of thins I am wondering about. Maybe you cute lil monkeys can help me. Is there anyone who has thought about Jose Luis Franco the man who found the suitcase? He lives on Bacchetti Rd. Also I am wondering about the trailer park and space number. I found Collette plummers at #75 it is also a space number listed under CLLs name. Do you think that means anything. Or do you think that maybe they lived there so long, they just change mobile homes once in a while?

well a lot of times the databases have errors, but being the car was released to her she has some connection to someone.  Is the connect only that she lived in the park and they searched her car also, or does she really have a tie to CLL?  who knows.  it might just be she was living in the park and they took her car at random like they did others, and also the # is off in the database.  that is one "possibility".  OR she might have a direct connection to CLL.  it could also be he use to live in that mobile or rented it, or someone who lived there had their utilities in his name or phone, for whatever reason, who knows.  Or he might have owned the place at one time, sold it, and bought another one?  hard to say what is going on

The Old Douglas Market
Larry cleaned it up and remodeled the interior and re-opened what he called the Old Douglas Market in 1976. It was an unpretentious place — a bar and restaurant where people felt comfortable and where they met friends. Food was mostly sandwiches, hamburgers, soups and what became a favorite — Portuguese beans.

Larry presided behind the bar and was assisted at times by others, including Ron Van Hagen, Dan Dodson and occasionally his brother-in-law, Fred Peters.

The Grebils sold the ODM in 1981, and Larry went on to run the Westley Hotel, Sunset Liquors and finally Ralph’s Club. He served two years on the City Council before resigning. He died in 1994.

The ODM was taken over by Don Huck and the Huck and Griffith families, who maintained the same ambiance, menu and personnel.

The Huck-Griffith families ran the ODM into the 1990s, when they sold it after Don’s wife, Geri, became seriously ill. It went downhill from there and was closed for good before the end of the decade.


As an occasional customer, I can still recall in my mind’s eye the island counter, where a group of guys would congregate nearly every day for a protracted lunch hour. With Bert Bacchetti serving as the counter "mayor," the gathering usually included Tom Albano, Dan McKenzie, Bill Jordan, Almer Gomes and others I will no doubt hear about later.

So, Bert Bacchetti (dairy owner where Sandra was found) was the "counter mayor" for daily lunch with Almer Gomes!!!!!!!!

I started a thread for almer gomes, and the gomes who live in the trailer park across from melissa.  they are the same family.  they are also dairy people

You think these people maybe connected to the Lawless' via the construction/roofing companies?

Yes, Jeffrey is listed as the agent of process (among others including Maude Gilmore and Connie Lawless' sister) and his address is very clearly the same as the Ellis'.

maude gilmore is with the LAWLESS ROOFING OUT OF REDDING/ OREGON

the others are with the NATIONAL ROOFING with CLL, connies sister and olson.

I am sure there are some ELLIS relatives to either connie harris or CLL.  should be in the genealogy reports, if not they will be in the updated ones I am working on.

it gets very confusing LOL.  especially when the names of the businesses are so much alike and the names are all alike.
