Title: Neda Soltan (Iran) was a Christian
Post by: jjayinthemorning on July 05, 2009, 07:39:00 PM
Newsweek did an article showing a photo of her with a cross necklace on. It's also been reported by certain analysist that she was a Christian. Iran is doing it's best to make this little issue go away.

This is the first real indication that Iran is rounding up and systematically killing Christians and Jews under the guise of re-election.

In China, the news is full of stories of authorities killing Muslims.   In our country, Barack chided people "who cling to religions and guns".  I haven't seen anyone here rounding up and killing people who are of a different religion, or who have no religion...

...You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations...

What about the people who continue to lose jobs due to Obama?  Any of them rioting and killing?  The autoworkers?  All those jobs outsourced this year?  Not eliminated, just moved offshore to other English speaking countries.  All the jobs destroyed by cap & trade?  In Spain, iirc, they lost 2.2 'regular' jobs for every green job created.  They gree jobs cost almost a million dollars each.  Steel mills relocated to the Southern United States from Spain to escape cap & trade and remain competitive...where will all the American jobs go?  China?  India?  Mexico?

Who's looking out for America?  Or, perhaps we aren't worthy?
