CBB if you could just make the Helmet Dark Blue with Gold/Yellow/Maize ? glitter stripe - that would be GRAND. And remove the Bow lol ... I am not a Bow girl ..lol. A Capital M in the same color Gold/Yellow/Maize *whatever the yellow color you have is perfect - In place of the Bow would be AWE.
Michigan is at such a low within economy and everything else, morale etc ... our unemployment level is at 25% - don't believe the fools on CNN/Fox cable .. they say were at 10 percent ..BS.
So many people suffering here Yet I can say what  Does keep US sane..is College Football.

In a nutshell:

He had a mrsa while he was in town and ended up in the hospital for several days. Another 18-20 hours and he would have been dead. He needed a place to stay and he's here.............. with a wound vac.

WICHITA, Kan. —  A man and woman in Wichita face possible life sentences in prison after being convicted of sexual assault in what prosecutors called the prostitution of the woman's 5-year-old daughter, KansasCity.com has reported.

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama has been targeted by a check-scamming operation aimed at potential victims across the nation.





About 20 checks that appear to have been drawn on a UA account at BBVA Compass Bank have popped up in locations ranging from California to Pennsylvania, said UA spokeswoman Cathy Andreen.

“The university is conducting an investigation and has shared this information with the proper federal authorities due to the multistate jurisdictional issues involved,” Andreen said, adding that anyone with information about the checks is asked to contact the UA Police Department.

Andreen said most of the checks, which arrive in FedEx packages, contain instructions for the recipient to cash the check, keep a percentage of the cash and forward the remainder to a third party.

It appears so far that UA is the only school targeted in this scam.

“As far as I know, the investigators are not aware of any [schools],” Andreen said, noting that the school has lost no money because the checks are forgeries.

It’s unclear exactly when the check-scam operation began, but Don Ellsworth of Girard, Pa., received his package on Aug. 15.

“It looked very fishy to me,” said Ellsworth, 67.

A retired professor, Ellsworth was concerned because he has no ties to the University of Alabama.

Ellsworth said his package contained just the $2,550 check, complete with UA’s logo in the upper left corner. It did not come with instructions.

The packing slip bore not only his address, but also his cell phone number.

The only other contact information on the packing slip was that of a Nashville, Tenn., resident who was listed as the sender.

Ellsworth called that number and said it was answered by a woman in Linden, Pa. She said at least five people had already called her that morning asking similar questions, Ellsworth said.

“I just called to see if I could figure anything more out,” Ellsworth said. “There were no instructions or anything.”

Attempts by The Tuscaloosa News to reach the Linden resident were unsuccessful, but the outgoing message on the answering machine references the letters, and tells callers to contact the FedEx security office.

Ann Saccomano, a spokeswoman for FedEx, said the company learned of the letters only after they were contacted by The Tuscaloosa News earlier this week.

“This seems to be a new one for us,” Saccomano said. “We don’t tolerate the use of our system for this sort of thing.”

Brandi Brownell, a spokeswoman for BBVA Compass Bank, said the bank was aware of the scam and was investigating.

“This is a recurring scam that is going across the country — a lot of banks are experiencing it,” she said. “Our security department is aware of it and we’re closely monitoring the situation.”

Quick update on Crystol:  I brought her home late last night from that Care Center place that was suppose to be so wonderful - NOT!   They gave her potent medicine 12 hours early and not with a high fat food as it was suppose to be given with.  The result was when I got there and she was telling me she wanted to go outside to potty, I took her out and bilirubin spilled from her.  In addition they cut her leg shaving it for the IV - and had to use her other leg.  They still have no explanation for the fist sized bruising.  Her lab values showed a prolonged clotting on admission and are now almost normal.  She is stable but now I must find a place who I can trust to do this surgery. 
The doctor I adore (her old vet that cared for her most of her life) started a week vacation today.  I cried when I found that out.  So, I assume the universe or God is limiting the choices for a reason.  So, she has an appointment today at 2:30 with the local vet at the place she has been going.  She is seeing the partner of her usual doctor as he has done the most gallbladder procedures.  I will update this eve more as I know more. 
It has been a horrible weekend, but I do think the only explanation for her improvement in the clotting is the prayers you guys and so many other are sending her way. If medicine can't explain it then I think we can!  So, THANK YOU to everyone who posted and those who didn't post but were praying for her.  I read from the rafters and absorbed the love, but was too sad to log in.  More later today.

Thanks everyone.  I am sitting here ready to go early if need be.  She started with the cough thing again - the one she did before the hematoma appeared.  I gave her allergy med, as the crap place didn't give her that either.  Seems to be calming so we might make it the hour till we get there.  It feels like this without the smile............ :-(  ::MonkeyJnBox::

If you go to JSM's blog from yesterday, I posted a few activities my husband has done while on Ambien.  ::MonkeyRoll::

Okay, so here is the deal.  I take her in tomorrow at 8am.  Dr. L is going to redo the utlrasound and if that is still as bad as it has been, he is going to do the surgery.  He was very happy with the liver enzyme numbers dropping, so there is a chance the miracle drug is in fact working.  But if it is not clear then surgery. 
He felt the bruise/hematoma was from where Dr.H drew the blood the other day.  He thinks when she coughed the clot from where the blood was taken broke away and she bleed and - get this, he said he felt me rubbing her throat helped put enough pressure on it to help it stop!  He is going to re-run coagulation studies prior to the surgery, if that is what tomorrow brings to make sure we don't have an issues that would be fatal with the surgery.   He is also going to do the surgery with laser so as to minimize the bleeding and it is a faster healing time.   
If the ultrasound shows something he feels needs more technical skills then he is going to do a referral to Ohio State University Hospital. 
He said, Dr. H asked him about a gallbladder patient last week - but he never said he didn't feel comfortable doing the surgery - so he thinks Dr. H just misunderstood him.  This is our first time with him - but he was very nice, answered my questions and didn't mind my medical knowledge - actually seemed to enjoy it! 
He was horrified to see that they cut Crystol shaving her leg for the IV and really upset at the medication error.  So - hopefully the saga of Crystol Noel is finally gonna get resolved and she can get back to doing her ballet and shopping at home depot with mama.

To everyone I missed - Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.  You guys have and are helping Crystol's Mama cope.  She is all shaved for surgery, the ultrasound, her front legs for IV and since mama doesn't know if that place was sterile, she got a bath to be as germ free and less likely to have any bacteria to be available for infection. 
She had a nice dish of her Muffy Bee recommended Chicken - rinsed of course.  A teaspoon of cottage cheese and a 1/2 teaspoon of peanut butter with her meds and is tucked in bed here on the couch under a blankie!   Mama is washing her blankies to take tomorrow and packing her bag with her meds, food, ultrasound pics and her IV bag.  As you guys know, Mama Junkie is a night owl, but she will get her rear in gear in the am for baby any day!  I even wake up early for Caylee!  Some people (smile - Crystol Noel thinks she is human) I get up for!!!!!!!!  Never got up for the ex! LMAO
Nights and thanks again - can't wait for the antics with morning coffee when I get back!

Can you please define to me what The Doc's have diagnosed your Doggy with. I talked to my friend Banana and she wants to help you but I don't know exactly how to tell her exactly what is wrong with your Baby.
She is very wise she has worked within Veterinary for years - Her is like the Nurse that see's all knows all yet is under the Doc. She the hands on and Minds on ..constantly checking and trying to aid - .. What is Crystol diagnosed with .. I just want to help. I can't stand the thought of any animal suffering un-needlessly if there is someone that can offer help and is willing to do just that.

1.  Gallbladder mucocele as a result of #2 or as a solo diagnosis.
2.  Possible liver failure causing #1
3.  Potentially a blood clotting disorder - he will re run the coagulation studies tomorrow if surgery is needed.  However, due to the internal bleeding from the blood draw site, we believe happened causing the hematoma/huge bruise - we/he feel this is why the PTT level was prolonged. 

Significant lab values in case are the ALT -  started at 1101 with diluted blood - had to dilute due the value being to high to get a reading.  Then we put her on two antibiotics and Ursodiol.  Next value was 412 - last Tues.  This Sat - 197.  Ultrasound was unchanged at last inspection. 
That is the basics,  THANKS DEENIE - I need all the info I can get!

I worked for a Doc that had been given a ton of samples of Ambien from her PHARM Pimp Rep.. and I know all to well what Ambien can do to a person. No Worries Sister. Floridatreasure9 ~ I see you up in the rafters and I saw your prayer request for your furbaby.  I lost a furbaby to CHF.  Losing pets is so difficult.  My kitty was on Lasics(?) to move the fluid but eventually had no quality of life, she was the runt.  I don't want to be "Debbie Downer" (as JSM would say) but I want to let you know that I'm pulling for your furbaby that he/she has a long and comfortable remainder here on earth with lots of love.

Update time............. 
Crystol Noel is getting her gallbladder removed today.  The ultrasound was unchanged.  However, the really good news is that after the surgery, the ducts leading from the gall bladder that still need to function - are wide open and clear.  That is a huge blessing.  They will also do a liver biopsy at the junction of the gallbladder and liver.  If she has not been under to long and all has gone well, the doctor is even going to remove some cysts she has that have bothered her and got infected for a long time. 
He is doing it all laser and he said due to my knowledge and attentiveness to her (I really think he was saying this lady is obsessive compulsive about her dog! LOL) that if she is stable enough to stay at his office over night instead of the hospital across town, that she can come home to mama! 
If they make it three days out from surgery, she will be done with this issue for her lifetime and should be good as new.  ................ has it been three days yet? LOL

Me too Floridatreasure9 my thoughts and prayers for your furbaby  ::MonkeyAngel:: I am thinking about and praying for everyone that is going through a traumatic time with their pets, I also know how horrible it can be when the furbaby is ill.

She is on the OR table now all hooked up to everything and tummy up - she looks sooooooo vulnerable and tiny. 
Mama is a mess!  I am going to watch her surgery unless I get to emotional because it is her.

The big meanie doctor put the light in front of the camera, so I didn't get to watch - but maybe that was a good thing.  It is different when it is your baby, so vet probably did that on purpose.

She is out of surgery.  He gave her a good look and the only thing is we need to evaluate her adrenal function as both were enlarged.  But doctor said that is treatable by meds.

 ::MonkeyShocked::  ANJM - I can't believe you can see Crystol on a web cam.  That would make me a nervous wreck.  I would take a nap or clean and wait for the phone call.  I am nervous just for you.
