PD: Killer stabbed man 50 times, left him burning in trash

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said Wednesday they have arrested a woman who allegedly murdered a man and left his body burning in a city trash can earlier this month.

Angela Simpson, 33, was arrested Tuesday.

According to court documents, the dismembered body of a man was found by firefighters when they put out a fire inside trash can near 9th and Peoria avenues on August 5.

The victim was later identified as 46-year-old Terry Neely who had last been seen leaving an assisted living care facility August 2.

According to court documents, the medical examiner said Neely had been stabbed approximately 50 times and a 3 inch nail was found "driven or hammered into his brain."

He was identified by his fingerprints.

Witnesses reportedly called police after finding Neely's motorized scooter at a nearby apartment complex.

Investigators searched apartments at the complex and in one of them found the carpet had been removed and bloodstains around the apartment.

A blood sample from the apartment matched one taken from the victim.

A witness told police that he had seen smoke coming from the apartment at one point and when he went to check saw a City of Phoenix trash can in the kitchen.

Reportedly Simpson and a man known as "Cracker" asked to borrow the witness's vehicle.

When they returned the car she told the witness she had killed Neely and cut him up. They threatened to kill the witness if he said anything about what had taken place.

According to court documents, video surveillance from a neighborhood school showed a white 4-door older vehicle driving by and the trunk was open, showing something large sticking out from the back of the vehicle.

When police interviewed Angela Simpson, she admitted she had lured Neely to the apartment "by telling Terry they were going to have sex."

She reportedly began beating Neely with a tire iron and hammer because she thought he was a "snitch," according to documents.

When I saw the jailhouse interview with this "monster" of a woman, I had chills and thought I would throw up. It was perhaps the scariest person I have ever seen. She says she is responsible for other murders....WTH??? (seen on CNN on Friday)

If she 'aint the poster child for the Death Penalty, I don't know what else is. She is pure evil.

Your right, she is a horrible vile human being!  I hope the judge, and jury who will hear this case, will keep this person in jail for the rest of her natural born life.

I sure hope this animal gets what is coming to her. I can not believe she was not incarcerated before this. She is a total wack job. She makes "Casey Anthony"  look like Mother Theresa!!!v ::MonkeyDevil2::
 

I could not shake how evil this person was last night.  The more I thought about it, the more I realized this person will probably be found insane and be sentence to mental institution vs. jail.  The good people in this world can not understand the acts she had performed on Terry; the reason behind her actions; nor forcing him to watch this madness in a mirror.  Therefore this person must be insane!

After being there a few years (5-10) during a psychiatric review will find her rehabilitated (sane) and release her back to society to do who knows what the the "snitch" that turned her in.
