CBB gave me directions one time to set up a new one, but I can't find them now. If someone will give them to me again, I will try not to fall down on the job and all you mods would have to do is lock the old one if you want to do that, or we will just leave it like it is and you mods can take care of it. I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Tevye - Christmas is not my time of year as my Dad passed away the week before Christmas and since then it has a totally different meaning for me, so no Christmas carols sorry.

New Cage YAY!!  I am still catching up on the other thread but JSM scratch the reunion - they are nothing but a waste of time - at least IMO anyway - I went to mine 10 years ago and they are all still so clicky and fake I wanted to puke.  By the way the ta he!! you are fat - you are adorable!!!!

I am getting nothing done over here.It has been chaotic since Saturday and I refuse to let myself get sucked into the drama.Needless to say Hubby has gone to the store without me.I have had it.He didn't do anything,but I think I need to stay in the den and be quiet so I don't hurt anyone's feelings.

Hope all monkeys (Trimm, JSM, Fanny, NRCG, No. Rose, Sassy, Mission, and other regulars in this thread that I may have forgot) have a great weekend, as I'm off 10/9 - 10/12.

Folks are in town from Cocoa Beach, Sis and BIL from Charlotte, niece and her husband a baby from Charlotte, and nephew and his gf from Queens are also all in town. All of us getting together Friday late afternoon after golfing with BIL and my Mexican friend for pizza and beer at my brother's and his wife's place in Northern suburbs, along with thier daughter who attends Purdue.

Will try to drop in throughout the day until 4:00.

I need one.   ::MonkeyDevil2:: Let me tell you what is happening.My stepson is 28 and has been to rehab a couple of times.He is also the one who had the baby that was beat to death by his ex wifes boyfriend.O.k.,after all this you would think he would straighten up.
After watching me almost lose it and try to keep my chit together every day you would think he would say to himself....I am aan azz and I need to grow up.   ::MonkeyNoNo::

He has anew girlfriend,and I already sized her up.Told hubby no good was coming from this.I get the look.   ::MonkeyDevil2::
Well,Saturday the stepson and GF get  into an altercation with her family and they are in jail.The judge ordered Rehab.
One word...moderation.I you can't moderate then abstain.I am so disgusted.
Hubby is upset because once again he has been duped by his son.Wake up people.the mother has given him money time after time.Drug addicts don't pay bills,they buy drugs.
Anyway,I am trying not to get cranked up.Nobody wants to talk to me.   ::MonkeyNoNo::

I know it is early for snow, but at least now just shoveling. I shouldn't say just shoveling that can be hard work, do you have a snow blower?

Trimm- I have a stepdaughter that just doesn't have a single brain cell...anyways I got fed up a couple weeks a go and told her she was f*&%"n up her 6 year old sons life by her actions......oh, that went over REAL GOOD!!! My dh wasn't impressed cause he was tryin to tell her nicely and I just blurted it out!! but good part is I haven't seen much of her,,,, she now calls hubbie's cell ph instead of house so she doesnt have to talk to me..... ::MonkeyDance::

I know of Mr. French -

Uncle Bill leaves for a trip (and having trouble finding his dentist as well) and Mr. French goes out for the evening, leaving Casey to watch the twins. Then Casey leaves to go to a concert (big mistake) and leaves her friend Zanny in charge. Then Zanny comes down with the measles and her mama comes to watch the kids. Then her mama leaves to take care of Zanny and puts her husband and his poker pals on babysitter duty. My lord, what a turn of events, but thankfully Bill and French come home to see all the trouble that Casey started in the first place.

I can guarantee she is saving lives by having this thread  ::MonkeyEek:: I would hate to see what would happened if I couldn't come here to vent  ::MonkeyNoNo:: They don't have to do anything, sometimes I just have to look at my husband and I could scream, I'm usually upstairs, he is downstairs watching tv. Just little things that he does that irritates me, the way he sits at the dinner table, the way he cuts his food.....I could go on and on, but I need to go work in the yard again. Phase two, is moving my statues, cleaning and putting down fresh bark, generally just cleaning up. I'm the crazy person that has to have everything in order, or I go nuts  ::MonkeyRoll::

We have two.  Hubby spent majority of last Saturday tinkering with the smaller one.  Not sure why as with his back he can not use it and it is too heavy for me to control.  If we get a big dump of snow my neighbours come and plow me out, other than that it is me , my shovel, and I.

Yes it is, and I'm so sorry for all this now that you have to go through. You have enough on your plate, I think it is best to just go to your den and not say anything, I find that to be the best, otherwise I go off and say a whole lot of things that I shouldn't. One thing to look forward to, is your little grandson coming over this weekend, I know the two of you were going to play a new game that came out. The two of you just enjoy and let the drama unfold. You all would be doing me a favor putting me in a hospital, at least that way, the meds would be there, I would just have to go to therapy sessions, and the rest of the time would be my time, and I could sleep, and not deal with BS. Oh Trimm I am so sorry about this  :smt056 - what a damn shame these kids just don't seem to understand what it does to the parents when they decide to live their lives like that.  Good lord the loss of a child even?  I guess that wasnt even enough!   Unfortunately the drugs and alcohol mean more to them than anything else - they have a strong hold on him and control his life, what is even more disturbing is he has gone to rehab a few times already which Im sure has you asking how many more times will it take? I wish I had the answers for you but I do have a shoulder and a hand of which I will say prayers that God gives you strength to work through this.  ::MonkeyAngel::

My dad has always refused a snow blower, it is not that we couldn't have afforded one, he just wouldn't buy one  ::MonkeyRoll:: When the snow gets heavy my dad has people that come over, but my dad can be quite cranky if it isn't done right, I can't tell you how many people he has fired because of nonsense, that isn't nonsense to him, but would be for 99% of the population. They didn't shovel exactly the way he wants it, look out. The last time I was there the two of us were shoveling, and he kept on don't do that and do this, finally I tossed the shovel and went into the house. My gosh it is just snow, you aren't designing some major project or something  ::MonkeyRoll::

 Trimm, I also wanted to say, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your hubby, with your stepson. Believe me, I know all to well, what drugs and alcohol does to some people, I also know that for some people no matter how much therapy, and what not it doesn't matter, some people just can't stop. A vicious cycle, and it just keeps on going, I think it is in the person's genes when it comes to this kind of abuse, even if a person really wants to stop they may for awhile, and then fall off and start again  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Well, I'll tell ya'll my deepest darkest secret. I never had a bicycle of my own.  ::MonkeyWaa::  I knew how to ride, as my girlfriend would let me ride hers. I thought I would buy one for myself when I got older, and now I am too fat!!  ::MonkeyWaa::

 Mission, I also wanted a Tiny Tears Doll, well Santa did bring me one, and I took her upstairs, and gave her a new hairdo. My mom was so upset, because I guess that doll was on the expensive side, she wanted to know why I did that, and I told her that I didn't like Tiny's hair so I was just fixing it. I don't think any of my friends had a Mrs Beasley doll, now the Chatty Cathy doll, I broke eventually because I wanted to keep hearing her talk. One year I got a beauty parlor doll. She was a big doll, and she came with a beautician's chair, and big hair dryer, and a bunch of different things to play beautician, boy, I sure had fun with that  ::MonkeyCool::

 Fanny, did you have to borrow a bike also from your sister? I'm sorry, because I loved bike riding, I got a beautiful 10 speed, sky blue bike for Christmas I even rode that bike in the winter. I would go on huge bike rides, even entered marathons. I still have some of the badges I received from the bike marathons. I don't anymore, because here you have to wear a helmet, and all the traffic, and I would be scared to fall.

As you know, Mr. French dabbled abit too much with the cooking sherry.

My sister was six years older than me, and by the time I could use it, it was pretty beat up. Mama didn't want me to have a bike because we lived on a busy street at that time and she thought I would kill myself. Hi, JSM--You've restored my faith in people, at least insofar as Broadway musicals.  I love all of the above, and little Ronnie Howard was so cute in "The Music Man."  But remember, Josef survived, so it could be thought of as a good luck musical.  I think my favorite is "Brigadoon" although the staging of Phantom was spectacular.  You always know these bits of information.  If we ever played "Trivia" I'd want you on my team!

Hey Baby, I was really surprised when CC put that out. I knew exactly where it came from and I laughed so hard it hurt.

I have never seen Brigadoon. I have never seen Phantom, Chicago or Cats or any of the new musicals. I only watch the old ones on TV or have them on video. I feel in love with the "Sound of Music" when it came to the "fancy" theatre here and my Grandmother and her neighbor took me and my sister. I didn't get the whole historical part, I just loved the scenery, costumes and the music.

Thank You Mission. My mom is terribly sad and called and asked for me to pray and I knew that monkey prayers are even better than just mine.  ::MonkeyAngel::

He's doing much better.   He has the physical therapists going to his house.   He was told to wait about 5-6 months to have the carotid artery cleaned because he had so many problems with his kidneys due to complications from type II diabetes.
The reason I haven't been on much lately is because I decided to focus on my own health and try to get in shape.   I had picked up a few pounds after I quit smoking and now I'm working to get it off.    My brother is only 8 years older than me, and I don't want to end up with the same health problems that he has had.   

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the threads now - but my butt was getting so wide, I had to do something!    ::MonkeyRoll:: ::MonkeyTongue::

  ::MonkeyCheer2:: I would much rather be here with my monkey friends than people that can see me and talk behind my back. More important I don't want to see the Ex husband. I think I will stay here. I hope with time his health improves rather than the opposite - I will continue to keep him and your family in my prayers and thoughts.  I am proud of you Sassy for wanting to improve your health also that is wonderful - I need to take a few lessons from you - I could stand to lose a few pounds - I broke my leg in 07 and was non weight bearing for 3 mos and by the time all was said and done it was almost 2 yrs before I was active like I was used to and the LB's piled on a bit - this summer I forced myself to be more active but I need to keep it up thru the winter.

Sassy I am proud that you quit smoking and are exercising. I am also glad your brother is doing good. I am very proud of you!!!

I know what you mean.   I broken my wrist severely back in 2004.  I couldn't work for three months and so when I finally got back to work - I was laid off due to budget cutbacks in the military.   It was know as the COW - Cost of War cutbacks.   They learned to do my job while I was gone - so they got rid of me!    :gaah:    Anyway, I didn't go back to work and so I have been slowly picking up a fews lbs each year.   Well, its time to get rid of it before I turn 50!    I finally got rid of the cigs - now I just have to get rid of the weight.    Maybe then I'll be a cougar.     ::MonkeyRoll:: ::MonkeyTongue:: ::MonkeyHaHa::

That is to ironic I worked in Title and the market was starting to die - it was a small company and the owner is a jerk - he sent me a letter day after Christmas informing me that he did not have to give me medical leave because he didnt fall under the FMLA because he had less than 50 employees - he had 47 - so therefore he could not guarantee my position - rate of pay etc.....that was comforting geeesh I had a rod in my femur and nine screws - not like I had a sprained ankle for goodness sake - well it was meant to be because I got a new job while I was laid up and they waited for me until I was able to get on my feet and come aboard but I was hurt - I can imagine how you felt.  Purrrr you are a cougar Sassy.  ::MonkeyWink::

Oh, JSM.  Nobody will have happy families, gazillions of dollars, live in fine houses but they will be full of it.  We don't live in OZ.  Most of them will have gained weight, have several exes and kids in rehab but they won't tell you. Many of them will envy your life, your freedom to do what you want, such as becoming a champion figure skater (Well, you did win best in your age group) I don't think you realize it, but you have a great life.  You have your own little nest with Joe (and it's true the more I know of men the more I love my dog.) And they will envy your job and the fact that you can have pizza or whatever the he77 you want whenever you want it and you don't have to answer to anyone but yourself. Tattoo, Duct Tape Photos Released In Anthony Case
Hearing Slated For Oct. 16

ORLANDO, Fla. -- In the case against Casey Anthony, more evidence was released on Friday.

About 1,000 pages of discovery were released to Anthony's attorneys. Also included were photos of Anthony's Bella Vita tattoo and duct tape found at the crime scene.

The photos will be posted on WESH.com shortly.

The next hearing in the case is slated on Oct. 16, when Judge Stan Strickland will hear arguments on a defense motion to drop the murder charges against Anthony.

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of her daughter Caylee.

The Nobel Peace Prize is nothing but a joke.  It became irrevelent when they gave it to that old fool, Jimmy Carter, if not before.   At that time, one of the members of that ridiculous committee said they did it to kick America in the knee.  They are notoriously anti-US so why shouldn't they give it to a fellow traveler?  After all, it was founded by Alfred Nobel, the dude who invented dynamite.  A peace prize?  And any organization which thinks Al Gore, who is making untold millions on his global warming fraud, is probably in cahoots with him to rake in some of the moolah.

I didn't realize that Obama had made peace with the Moslems.  I guess they didn't understand that NATO military personnel are still being killed in Afghanistan. I don't really recognize that as peace.  IMO not 300 of those idiots is worth one of our brave military.

Or maybe he did make peace and the Islamist terrorists just didn't get the word yet.
Nor did I.  On the other hand, it just further confirms my suspicion that he is an alien Islamist himself. So I guess he made peace with himself.  And that big-butt Michelle, who was flown to Denmark in Air Force Two and later the Messiah himself was flown over in Air Force One to spread their particular brand of Moslem charm to get the Olympics for their crooked cronies in Chicago.  At least the IOC saw through those two charlatans.  But IMO it unconsionable for them to spend so much taxpayer money for nothing but two clowns going to Denmark.

Awws I will.   Long story but short version, he was an EMT back home in Jersey at 18 when 911 happened.   He went into the city to help much to his mother's panic & begging not to, for the next 6 days he instead took part in dealing with the unimaginable horror & I sat frozen waiting for the phone to ring & praying - it affected him so much that he left pre med at Seton Hall freshman year and enlisted.  He became a med specialist...the Army has given him after 2 tours (Iraq, Germany) the elongated college education plan... lolol

I never in all my years would think that I couldnt at least support a Commander in Chief that I may have not voted for but the day has come that we have a fraud in the office we are held to respect & Im struggling with it.

Here's the craziest thing of all.  Nominations for the Nobel Prize must be received by the selection committee by Feb. 1.  Nominations received after that date will be considered for next year's prize. On Feb. 1, Obama was in office for 12 days, so this prize is for his accomplishments during that time.  What in the world did he do?  This group at the Nobel Prize outfit have been anti-US for years and have found anyone they could to stick it to the US.  They mean nothing. They are nothing.  Obama is nothing.  Period.
