I wanted to continue talking about cookies.
I was looking last summer for wedding cake toppers.
Just quite expensive cost wise, but cheap junk. Did a ixnay on that idea .
It was for a family wedding.
When I was looking on the 'net there was not alot to choose from. Nothing personalized.
People spend alot of money on wedding items.

Kat - those are great ideas, we're also working on cookie tablescapes for now daughter has perfected making tiny individual cakes that look like tiffany boxes and such.......so we'll have a tower of cookies and mini-cakes. the issue is finding enough time for all we'd like to do !

BT - so sweet for you to say that, I WISH we'd have an empire but we are still scrambling to get samples out and get orders !! Memere can tell you that the cookies taste good too !  :D

I appreciate it Kat, the brainstorming and feedback from others is so helpful. I agree entirely, that is a wide open market and one we plan to pursue. We have several valentine designs that will translate well for weddings too, so we're working hard on expanding into that area. I plan to send out samples to all the wedding designers plus the one that did my wedding a million years ago in Atlanta, has offered to promote our work as well. So we just need a few more weeks to perfect the samples and I think we'll have a good shot at this !

Old friend had a jewelry store and when he had an opening of the new store in his name only, he had chocolates made with the logo of his store

We seem to have an excess of sno here at the moment and she is off for
holidays this week. They do alot of outdoor stuff with her. She will get a kick out of it regardless.

I've been thinking about this too None.  People are crazy about their pets and often hold parties for their pets or get-togethers for their friends who own the same type dog as they do.  I know b/c I have been to many gatherings of Yorkie owners.  At the one held at my house (people came from all over the country), I bought a cookie cutter shaped as a Yorkie.  Baked the sugar cookies, then decorated them with icing to look like Yorkies with their long flowing hair.  I would have gladly bought the cookies if I could have found them, b/c I had so much else to do getting ready for the festival.

So animal, especially dog related cookies would be abig market for you.

None! I'm so glad you're thinking big! You know, FTD does more than flowers, they also send candy, fruit, and I think since thier biggest seasons are Holidays, that offering Holiday cookies would be a natural!!!

I just think you've hit a wonderful idea! And sending a guy anything like flowers, etc. is just kinda weird, but men love cookies! That opens up a whole pandora box of shapes...............You'd have to "X" rate ones for a bachelor party  :lol: But there's always Superbowl Parties!

This is well worth reading --- carefully --- and digesting one piece at a time.

That is the thing of which notice is taken.  I suspect there are many, many unreported crimes that occur on the rock and some of the viewers keep browsing to see if their particular crime is reported, whether perpetrator or victim.  I would be willing to bet if this keeps up, the mainstream will pick up on this at some point.  This would be a good read for AMW's viewers, so they are made aware should a program about Natalee occur in that venue, to stay well away from Crime Island of the Caribbean.  Oh yes, it is worth renaming it from Arabia (Aruba) to Caribbean Crime Island.

SIL was just here and they are thinking of taking the little kid to there during the holidays. I never worked in this building. but many gov't offices used to be there and it is open to the public. Mishy, that is very timely and if one things about it before they ask, "if there is a God, why does he bring suffering on us?"  Clearly, He does not bring suffering on us but allows it to happen for a reason and when we pray, we must be willing to accept His will in our lives, for His will is what is best, and He knows best, but if we are unable to accept His will in our lives, then our prayers are for naught and are not based on faith, but on our own needs.

It's really sad to think about the stars that we so memoralized and where they are today.  I think I am reminded of Red's article on front page that was so sad when we thought the stars we admired were immortal and invincible and now we are burying so many of them.  OK, my age is showing.  Annette and I are the same age and we were diagnosed about the same time to have MS.  I took everything offered to me but Annette refused.  I am sorry that she did not opt for treatment.

Tylergal - I know in my husbands case, there really isn't any medication that has been proven to help.  Chronic Progressive vs. Remitting Relapsing maybe?

I planned on making a project of that one and when the Hidden in plain view came up.. I thought of Shango. I have skimmed the entire 13 chapters since it began to be in the papers. He is the one that said that. ?
Masons in Aruba, No, not a big thing in the Dutch world. Except the University of Amsterdam has the biggest collection of Hermetic documents in the world. I don't think that there is any connection save to Shango who seemed to be into the occult. I have never seen a Masonic symbol in anything I had been looking at in regards to Aruba.
After I print and study the chapters, I am going to re read Shango.
And, I had an uncle who was a Mason. I've been at the Masonic Temple here several times. Also been to a Masonic funeral. That phrase is the only connection I have ever seen to anything Masonic.

She opted to do nothing, Klaas, and that was probably long before your DH had MS, but I took the elephant-size doses of prednisone in the intensive care unit with the crash cart on hand and albeit it difficult at times and my eyes hurting very much, most of the time I can see which I could not when I went into the hospital and I took beta interferon years before it was approved, paying out of my pocket and putting second mortgages on our house just like we would have done for cancer treatment for one of us or our kids if we had had to. Our insurance was not paying for it back then and that was a long time ago when $1600 month was a lot of bread --- well, it still is, but then at least insurance is paying for it now, and it has kept me in remissions for the most part.

Tylergal - Last I heard Beta Interferon isn't even approved for chronic progressive.  My husband was in a double blind trial a few years back for chronic progressive MS and Betaseron.  He was in that trial for 2 years.  As it turned out, he was injecting saline and not Betaseron.  At the end of the trial he was given 6 months supply of Betaseron.  After injecting himself with the real thing, he had a heart attack.  The cardiologist said the Betaseron caused a spasm in his artery.  That was the end of the Betaseron for him. After that fiasco, all he'll take is advil.

Klaas - I'm so sorry that your hubby and Tyler are ill. It must be much more difficult than most of us can even imagine.  :(

BT - MS is a terrible disease that takes on many forms.  There's so much they still don't know about it.  My husbands mother died from it quite young.  She was told it was OK to have children because it wasn't hereditary...they were wrong.

In many ways my husband is very lucky.  His biggest problem is walking but can still get around the house.  He has a scooter when we have to go out and do any walking.  He's chronic progressive but is progressing worse very slowly.

I think Tyler actually has had worse problems with it and it must be very difficult for her at times.

MS sucks.

Back when I was in 7th grade, my father was in the TV business.  He tried everything to get me to be an extra in one of those Bikini Beach movies.  He would have no problem making it happen. I said "no way"..I'm not going to get filmed wearing a bathing suit, LOLOL  :lol:

I know that it has affected so many people, some beginning at a very early age. It does indeed suck. :(

Maybe the cure is just around the corner.

Not me!  I'm looking forward instead of looking back.  I can't change what has already happened, but I can influence what is to be.

My predictions for this year regarding this case:

1) There will be a flurry of activity in April & May, and a trial in June.  They will be found guilty on the lesser charges and given very light sentences.  Probably for Joran it will be time already served.

2)  The Kalpoe will drop their lawsuit. The CA court will dismiss the wrongful death suit against the Kalpoes based on Jurisdiction after the Kalpoes withdraw their suit.

Thought he could put it up on the front page for laughs  :wink:

I understand that, Klaas, as I went in CHF with the prednisone following my second hospitalization.  Isn't that strange that I was in the hospital getting the treatment, and I was fine (crash carts on standby) and then I went home, went into an adrenal crisis, and treatment for that, and then congestive heart failure when they had to give me more steroids for the adrenal crisis.  Drugs are bizarre.  I understand that.  I would not do another elephant dose of prednisone again.  That was many years ago when my body was stronger, but I can see and I can walk, something I could not do in 1990.

Oh, but I am so fortunate to have the present and the past I have had, and I do look forward to the future.  I am glad I did what I did and would not change it.  Who knows?  Maybe it was the worst or was the best thing I could have done, but every experience I have ever had has been enriching and rewarding, just like knowing all the monkeys.  You all have enriched my life and I would not trade my monkey experience for all the other things I could have been doing while I was here.  Life is a garden of roses if you care to smell them, or a pot of coffee (both are great in my case).

Course the shows are so stupid that the only reason to watch is the Bikinis, Music and Cars.

I feel for both of you as My Mom (who broke her hip last month) also has MS. Maybe since this disease affects so many of us, we could start a thread in the monkey lounge, discussing treatments that diff,. ones have tried and the side effects etc?

Or, in my case, to reminisce about how new and exciting everything seemed when I was 14 years old.

In my opinion if they do have a trial and are found guilty of the lesser charges they would all have to get the same sentence.  The Kalpoes are not the murderers the Van der Sloots are.  They are in this position because Joran and Paulus chose to end Natalee's life.  I think the Kalpoes would be pretty pissed off that Joran would get a lighter sentence than them because any way you look at this case it is Joran, Joran, Joran.  But then again this is Aruba and what would be the difference between if Joran got 6 months less than them.  They would probably be forced to accept their punishment and end this case once and for all or their life will come to an abrupt end.  I find it strange that Joran is the world traveler and the Kalpoes can't get off that hell hole of an island.

Well, I just got into the cage and find Robots smelling of San's brain, bleachedblack has a headache and Sam says whatever we do today we will do for the whole year.   :shock: BT and Carnut watching old bikini movies in this cold.

Carnut, yes it is a Rolls of some year, not sure which.   Had wide whitewall tires, too, the first I have seen in like forever.  Son used it for his wedding and during the reception, I asked the chauffeur to take me for a short ride just to see how it would feel to ride in a car like that.  It felt wonderful and I felt very important.  Certainly got the look/stares, too, then he returned me to the reception hall and dumped me at the curb and reality returned.   :D I was not even the Mother of the Bride, just the Groom, designated to wear beige and keep my mouth shut.  That's the way that works.   :wink:

Still can't comprehend how Greta could look at that interview now and really think he was telling anywhere near the truth.

Talk about taking me back to the good times.

Even if Greta thought he was telling the truth, it was unprofessional of her to say what she did.  I don't see how she could think he was and if they go over it again (I didn't see it tonight but if I am still awake next round, will watch) notice he gives her a timeline with over an hour missing.

She catches it and gives him two or three chances to correct it.  Being sharp as a marble, Joran doesn't catch it and leaves the hour just missing like anything.  

When talking about the shoes, he has that smirky little smartass grin boys his age get when they are lying and think it is funny.  Having reared three of them, I know the look as I would bet do just about any mother who has gone through that age with sons.  No, not all of them will tell lies but just about all will at least try it.  Except for Mr. All Vegan.  But the other two were not above at least trying once in a a while.  And that was the exact expression on their face when they did, too.

The face is straight and even somber but the eyes are laughing.

Those are the shoes he had on that night I do believe and to prevent ALE from taking them, he said it was some other pair so he would not lose his new shoes.  That is how lightly he takes all of this.  That, and lying about his losses at cards to try to make himself look like some sort of card stud.

What kind of mind would work like that to be totally self-serving in every detail?  Instead of upholding him in his sorriness, as a parent I would have made the ALE seem the far better and more desirable choice with whom to deal.  In other words, if I caught one of mine lying about something that important, he would be begging to get into jail to get away from me.

His parents have done Joran a serious disservice teaching him that people are stupid enough to actually believe him.  I doubt even they are but it is easier to pretend they do than confront him at least for Anita.  I think Paulus knows and knew from the night Natalee disappeared the details.  He is not even a very good liar.  Or anything else that I have seen so far.   :evil: He might be off the charts in Aruba but would only score dull average in the big wide world if that.  Stupid is as stupid does but what's Greta's excuse?

Humm, I used to go to Ft. Meyers every other Christmas or so thru the 70's and 80's. Favorite Aunt lived in Lehigh Acres community. Got see the the Guy Lombardo band on New Years Ever there.

They did tests on my dad's heart this morning and concluded that he doesn't need heart surgery at this time. The doctor says they can treat the problem with medication, and that dad should be able to go home from the hospital in a couple of days.  :D

Ok, here's the deal...I really hate shopping of any kind.  I particularly hate going to stores like COSTCO.  I'd rather go to the grocery store every other day and use the self/check isle than go once a week and buy a ton of stuff.  No "bag boys" involved in my transactions.  I'm in and out of the grocery store usually in 15 minutes max.  Just the way I like it  :wink:

Saved, LOL.  Are you pulling your hair out and Klass screaming!  I think Klaas is one of the most patient teachers I have ever witnessed.  I am a pretty good teacher, but she is very patient.  That is my bestest asset teaching.  I always had to go around my elbow to analyze things that were easy for others, so those that have difficulty understanding, I try to apply my methodology so that it makes it easier for them.  Now I have confused all of you, right?

A friend's daughter came over today and taught me how to make "dolls" like this myself.

And to think I used to not post at SM because the format intimidated me so and I couldn't find my way around the threads, etc.

So many of us have learned to use computers so much more while on this Forum.  Used to all I could handle was RWV.  Same for Granny Toad but she might not admit that these days being such a whiz at it.  I could never find the Lively if I ever left it and was just in No Man's Land of Posts.

I don't have any problem finding my way around BFN but I do have a problem with the forum template and the quoting feature.  When a post is quoted the print just gets too small, IMO.

Anna I was so intimidated to post on SM.  For the longest time I didn't know how to post a picture or link.  I would always see people blowing the margins and was deathly afraid of doing that.  Then one day I just practiced and I started with using the site tinyURL and then I graduated to posting pictures.

I love all those products! Maybe on the reverse side of the mug/cup/stein you could do just the 'Scared Monkeys' printing in black (on the white cup,etc.) as the way it is written/shown above "Discussion Board" as is seen above? The font/design of 'Scared Monkeys' , and the black on white is sharp is really good-looking and has a lot of class I think.  

Maybe, what about a chef's apron too ??? :D

Not sure if it will let me do that but I'll look into it.  Currently, the design is centered on the mug instead of being on the left or right hand side.

 :shock: It still blows my mind that Greta was so hood-winked and taken in by Prince Joran. I really could only watch about two minutes of that interview replay last night. But to me, it was even more apparent seeing it the second time, how Greta seemed so visually affected by that kid. She either developed a crush on him right before our eyes, or she was scared for her life and wanted to get the heck off that island. :shock:

Just got my MUG! I like the one with the heart. It's good for Valentine's Day, but I love Scared Monkeys ALL the time!!

I have received three e-mails saying it was shipping.  LOL.  One soon after, one two weeks later and one last week.  I can use it next year.  I will like it if and when it gets here.  It will be special because it is designed by Klaas and features the Monkey gang.  With the Monkeys, it's Christmas all year long.

I am just posting this to show how it is a matter of routine for suicides
to be completely investigated.  In no way it is attacking the victim nor showing anything other than concern.

And The Netherlands has asked for several bodies to be exhumed and DNA and forensic samples submitted to Holland.  You may recall that happening last year as some were being deemed other than suicides with the presence of toxic substances, etc.  

For at least the last twenty years, there have been routine investigations in the case of death by suicide in this country.  So I do hope the recent death of the young TV producer in Aruba is also investigated.  You just never know what might turn up in a place like that.

Yep.  My father inlaw changed the channel and missed the end of the game.  Could not believe it!  What an awesome game from beginning to end actually.  Then to top it off at the end with a marriage proposal at that!

Klaas is right, again. I did have good Customer Service from CafePress.

I have ordered three times from CafePress ie: Scared Monkeys. The first order I didn't trace. The last order sent the poster seperately and the last part of my order from CafePress left 5 AM left Hodgkins IN 12/30 via UPS. When it hits out here at their "port" I know I'll get it the next day... pretty nice if you have to have a neigbor look out for it or leave directions for UPS.

I think it's fun to use CafePress's UPS tracker feature and trace it cross country.One order was shipped to Earth..something MO then cross country. The second went out of a suburb in Kansas City Kansas, I think. They all start out in Louisville, KY

Yes, CafePress had advertized free shipping ending on a certain day and their computer programed shipping in the order. Customer Service changed it immediately and my charge card reflected that.

I think the idea for Valentine Day's mug is great. I like the picture on the one side of the mug.... would be neat to have something on the other side.

I find wearing the SM t-shirts and now the coming sweatshirt acts as a lead in to discussing the Natalee challenge with others in line, etc at the store. Some will just smile in the aisles of the grocery and I know they know the SM site.

OK this lead to exploring "Plain View" + Hermanic Code and just Plain View. (OT....I like "hotbot.com" and "dogpile.com" for they fetch better :lol: sometimes than Goggle.)

First, as many of you know I "flew in" via Code Talkers and lurked alot. I then researched Shango's code  (which I didn't share) in myths, Carib. music, Masonry, Aruban Hist et al hours and hours. Lost much of it in a hard disk crash. The Code Talkers were always better than I though and seemed to crack it much faster.

Anyway, I was "disappointed" to learn that, maybe, many of Shango's sayings were based on Marvel comics... "disappointed" for I could have save many hours if I had ever read Marvel comics, I guess. IMO I disagree here, though for I think Shango is versed in more than comic lore.

Now, in that line... him/her (Shango) being much more hip than I in comics and music, I came across something tonight that may have been posted before and I missed. :lol:

Well, JVDS may not have mentioned his keys anywhere, but he definitely mentioned his VIP pass to CnC's in his interview.

Guess keys to each building in the sloot dump might get in the way a bit since apparently the long building is the living/dining quarters and the two other buildings are sleeping quarters, even though JVDS quarters are called an appartment, I think it was just another detached bedroom, so about the only locks in the dump would be the front gate.

Don't really know how I would live in separate buildings for living and sleeping, don't know if I would lock the doors in each as I went from one to the other, especially with youngins running around.

I do have a separate garage building and I keep it locked, but then again I'm single and lock everydoor behind me.

It is doubtful that Joran got on the bus that Monday morning but Paul's memory of the event raises a few questions:
-Why wouldn't Val or Sebastien (sp) tell the bus driver (if they were in Aruba)?
-When and how did Paul get the information that Joran was not going to school that day?  According to Paul - he is the one who gets the boys out of bed at 6 AM so they can get on the bus at 6:15-6:20.  
-Where was Joran, at the time the bus came by, that he did not tell the bus driver himself?
It sounds as if Joran was supposed to go to school on Monday but between 6 AM and 6:20 AM, Paul became aware that Joran had decided not to attend school the entire day - even though he had a huge homework assignment due - and there is no mention of Paul driving him to school or offering to drive him to school.  This brief period of time is when Joran must have told Paul about his casino win (what win?) and given him the florins (?) to deposit in the bank.  The next action of Paul's (according to him) is driving to work at 8 AM (in Palm Beach?) but returning to the Noord area at 10 AM to try (unsuccessfully) to deposit Joran's money.  I think Rita Dijkhoff (the cleaning lady) needs to be questionned again.

Paulus has selective or maybe convenient memory loss.  I cannot believe that he did not know whether JOran went to school or not.  For goodness sakes - that Mon night is when the Holloway/Twittys showed up at his house.  Wouldn't any NORMAL person think to themselves - hey - Joran did not go to school today, and these people show up- that is strange... OR hey - Joran went to school as normal, nothing out of the ordinary.  Of course this is taking into consideration they think Normally - which we know they do not.  I guess what I am saying is that Paulus is telling a bald faced lie.  He remembers alright.  He remembers it all.  He is just conveniently NOT remembering to "save his son" and in my opinion, his own skin too.

I think this is a reference for the story PVDS told about going to the bank in the morning and it was too busy so he went back to the office without making a deposit.

In his statement, Paulus said he went to the bank to deposit the $ in the AM, but the lines were too long, then, subsequently left his office again in the afternoon to make this deposit.

Paul said the money was Joran's winnings from gambling and even Joran says that there were no "hundreds of florins" won but rather he lost money.  Paul places himself in the Noord area at 10 AM,  with his failed attempt to deposit money due to the excessive crowds story.

Depends on if you are a Saban fan or not.  I suspect the LSU folks are a bit irritated and he is a good football coach, no doubt.  I will reserve my judgement on this for now.  He is a big name person and this gives the hire some clout.  Yes, Bama will win some games with him, but I am more concerned how this plays out for the players this next year.  Certainly, it elevates Bama to a status they have been missing for a number of years.  Here in the state, and especially in the fall months, football is the only thing you smell when you take a breath.  You have to be here to understand what I am talking about.

Yes, any logical or thinking person would have sorted out at least the major events of that time such as whether or not Joran attended school the day after Natalee disappeared.  That is one of the first, foremost and basic things Paulus would have established and settled in his own mind.

To claim he doesn't remember is just ludicrous.  And yes, why did Joran not attend after rushing to complete that big project he was printing out when the Kalpoes arrived the night before.  It was just urgent at that time so why was it not so important the very next day.

Unless, of course, something had happened in the interim to render it not nearly as important as it was before he left the house that night.

If the homework assignment was THAT important, why didn't one of Joran's brothers take it to school?  What did Joran do all morning on Monday, May 30, 2006 and why couldn't Joran walk over to the bank, after he was more rested from his night of partying?   The maid must have noticed if he was home - his "Airco" would have been running if he was in his apt. and I am sure, that he needed food during the day and the kitchen is located in the main house.   Oh, Rita Dijkhoff, why won't you talk?

I can understand the Aruban police neglecting to ask the "hard" questions but GRETA?  The police were hearing these fantasies for the very first time but GRETA had months to absorb the niggling little details that don't make sense to the average person.  She had a chance to nail Joran - after she got the required video footage for her show, but somehow forgot that a story had to make sense to be believable.  I wish somebody at Fox had put truth serum in the water bottle he was gulping from.

Quick drive by, but whether Joran attended school the next day is EXTREMELY important. Important enough to be bizarre that there was ever any confusion or question about it. There are teachers and school staff that know beyond a shadow of doubt whether the Big Lug's ass was in his seat or not. It's not the kind of thing that one forgets either. Joran is involved in a girl missing, and every teacher and faculty member KNOWS and remembers well Joran's attendance status on that day. Much like the memory of anyone old enough to attend school the day Kennedy was shot, that memory of where they were is fixed.
Jug and friends went to the school and had a conversation with the head master. I'd like to refresh my memory on what Jug relayed about that conversation.

Re JVDS and gambling.....if he does not work, what kind of allowance would he get that would support his lifestyle.....

dating, a movie and a meal with a girl or bar hopping would be less than $100 a night (IMHO), but then he does not have a car....he does not have a job....and no one has talked about his "allowance"....and we all know that he is out more than once a week....!

gambling puts you into another sphere...someone has to support that gambling habit....especially since he does not appear to be skilled or "lucky".....

Nor does Joran have the intelligence to EVER be a good card player.  I think it was Tommy Pooch, another sleazy character, who said Joran was notoriously bad at cards.  Add to it his mental dullness, he is bad with numbers and can't even tell when he has an hour missing from a timeline.

He can't keep a straight face to save himself.

And it all adds up to the big question of WHY did Greta tend to believe him?  I don't believe she has children, does she?  Maybe she doesn't know the grim face/twinkling eyes game face they can present when lying.  But she has worked with college students as a university professor and so should have acquired basic skill in that area long ago.

Did she also believe the dog ate their papers she required during the course of teaching?  Frankly, I would find the dog eating the homework more believable than Joran.

Did Paulus really want to make a simple deposit transaction ??? His deposit story of two visits is fishy. I've always wondered if in fact, Paulus' real purpose for going to the bank was to really make personal contact with that particular bank employee, (she may have been sitting at her desk?), perhaps in connection with (disposal ?) of Natalee ? Or something to do with the events ?

I think that part of Paulus lying and pretending he doesn't remember is
a part of a ploy to trivialize the whole thing.  He said it was "absurd!" that they dare arrest him and a part of him is saying Natalee was just so unimportant, he couldn't even be bothered with a tourist girl going missing.  Has nothing to do with them, after all.

And a part of it was he did not have all angles covered as to what would be the best story for them to tell.  Beth caught them off-guard and threw all the plans off.  He was still thinking what would be the best angle to take.  

For example, blame the Security Guards or blame the Kalpoes.  Which would be better.  Decisions, decisions!  So tough for Paulus to try to anticipate each and every turn of events he could expect and to lie accordingly.  Better to just claim not to remember than get caught even more.

And that would leave everything open ended for later when it came down to one or the other.  He could suddenly remember whatever would help nail it down on somebody, anybody, other than his son, whom he said he will do literally anything, no qualifiers, to protect.

I would do whatever I could to protect my own sons but only within the limits of what is morally right.  They will always have my love no matter what they might or might not do but once they wander outside the bounds of morality and civilization, they know they are on their own.  

There must be a reason Paulus is willing to throw any semblance of decency, justice, integrity to the wind and just blindly support Joran no matter what he might have done.  Is it because Joran is covering for Paulus also in some aspect of all of this?

If so, Paulus need to be afraid, be very afraid.  Joran will eventually tire of being used by his father in this manner and if he sees himself behind bars for a long period of time, all bets will be off, to use a gambling pun.

All just my most humble of opinions and speculation as to what motivated Paulus vdSloot to lie as he did.

The maid would know if there had been a party going on at the main house or whether Joran's clothes were excessively dirty.  She would know if Joran was home or away that day and remember his demeanor.
Was she allowed into his apt. or told not to go into any rooms in the main house?  Did she answer the phone or see cars arriving?  Was one of Paul's Judge friends staying at the house?  There are so many questions.  She might know things that she might not even think are important but could change everything.  She is the only witness to the van der Sloot family's activities of Monday, May 30th that is alive and known.

That realization alone, must be causing her true fear. :shock:

Hi Monkeys,

Long day at the hospital here. They decided last night that maybe my dad did have a blocked artery and wanted to do one more test this morning. They did the test, found a blockage, and put in a stent. The procedure went smoothly, except that there were problems with his blood clotting, and once they decided to take out the cardiac catheter from the artery in his thigh, it took them over an hour to do it without him bleeding profusely. Anyway, when I left the hospital he was doing well, so I am a very happy camper.

If anyone is ever in Chattanooga and needs to go to the hospital, go to Memorial. I can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff there. :D

There was a maid that reported seeing sand all over Joran's clothes.  In my opinion this was not sand it was blood.  Why make a bid deal out of sand when it's all over the island.  They needed to shut the maid up and they why the have the other maid testifying no one else works for the Sloots.
