Zenaida Gonzales Files Witness List In Casey Case

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Zenaida Gonzalez, who is suing Casey Anthony for allegedly implicating her in Caylee Anthony’s disappearance and murder, has filed a list of expert witnesses she might call to testify at a defamation trial.
Gonzalez was investigated in connection with the case after detectives found out she had been to the Sawgrass Apartments around the same time Casey says she dropped her daughter Caylee off there.

Casey said the name of the nanny she left Caylee with at the apartments was Zenaida Gonzalez.

A status hearing for the trial is scheduled for May.

Casey Anthony's parents may be losing their home to foreclosure. Bank of America filed foreclosure papers with the Orange County Clerk of Courts on Monday.

George and Cindy Anthony have lived in the home on Hopespring Drive in East Orange County since 1986. Their granddaughter Caylee lived in the home until she was killed nearly two years ago.

Cindy Anthony left her job as a nurse after Caylee's disappearance and has been on disability.

Sister, it hits close to home for me, my daughter lost her condo, it ended up being upside down (mortgage wise) by 150,000$. Months of begging, pleading, crying, trying to use bail out programs (couldn't get that because she made too much,huh?) it was agonizing for all of us.......so, they won't get mush sympathy from a whole lot of ppl.  Caylee's tragedy has been terrible for them but it's a proven fact that they have used it for profit but yet even with that profit, they chose not to pay 785$ a month. 

Didn't Cindy just schedule home health visits from an office and did not actually do any physical labor other than sitting on her behind? There is no reason she could not go back to that job.She is not a front desk worker or hands on nurse, And well , George has never held down a job anyway, but there is plenty of jobs that you don't have to deal with the public.

This foreclosure coming out now, stinks to high heaven. It is now another part of the pity me tour. And what a laugh that they did not see it coming.
I hate to tell them if they start renting, and miss 3 payments their butts will be on the streets.

I guess when CA was out parading around her new clothes and hairdo she was letting her payments go. Wonder why they didn't take the money they spent on the cruises and trips and pay the mortgage? I guess it was more important to "have fun" - do we see a pattern here? Caylee was neglected while Casey was partying and the parents are taking trips and acting like "big shots" while their house payments are not being paid.

Did you happen to notice it has not been paid since April 2009 - I doubt many people would get 10 months from a mortgage company to make up the payments, but of course with their entitlement attitude I am sure they are claiming they got done in by the company.

The good thing about this is it tells me that people are not falling for that "foundation" crap anymore and donating money to them like they were before. They evidently thought they were set for life by kind hearted people donating to them. I guess people finally figured them out.

I am wondering with the money gone for the defense team if the loon lawyer will continue. I am convinced a public defender would have done a much better job like I said from the beginning. She could have made a plea deal and been out in 8 years and now she is going to get the death penalty. She choose her fate, now let her and her apologists live (or die) with it.

It blows my mind about this. If they stopped paying the mortgage last year in June, so all the time that they were making trips to NY, Ca, race tracks, employing a PI, retaining attys.....not any concern about the house? That really chaps my azz, losing your house is gut wrenching to most ppl, but I guess to some, not so much. I agree with Numbersgirl, this house is not the high end place they deserve to be in. too many memories, so instead of doing things like responsible citizens, just forget about it and then later, move to a swank home and start over. They've thumbed their nose and given the finger to everyone since the beginning so why would I think they would do any different?  Again for the thousandth time, they disgust me.

That is what irritates me - I see so many people who work two and three jobs right now just to get their mortgage paid and Cindy was too "involved" with the press to go back to work. She could have had a job anytime because she is an RN and could have walked into any facility and gone to work the same day, but did she? NOPE she wanted to pay their "big shot" role so she started that foundation and took money from people who believed their BS and felt sorry for them. They received over $300,000 for interviews and pictures and could have paid off that mortgage, but used it for themselves. I don't feel sorry for them at all.  

They most likely decided to not pay it and get something else. They refinanced it in 2005, so they got their money out of it then as they only paid about 70 thousand if I remember correctly in 1986. You maybe right in thinking they have another place planned and have been taking their money to get it. Or they may have just thought as usual that the mortgage company like LE would not do anything "TO THEM."

Not to go too far Ot but hundreds of hours of phone calls, they even moved in w/inlaws, rented the place out and paid the difference in hopes of keeping it, nothing helped.. we sure would like to know who exactly IS able to benefit from the mortgage reform programs........Anyways, the A's never fail to disappoint.

Casey Anthony Led Man To Caylee Anthony Body Discovery

ORLANDO, FL. Feb, 23
The National Enquirer announced a bombshell tidbit today concerning Casey Anthony. The tabloid says that a source has told them that the reason meter reader Roy Kronk found the Caylee Anthony's body was because of information that came directly from Casey Anthony.

Casey Anthony was overheard talking about where her daughter's body was buried by an employee of the Orange County Jail in Orlando. The conversation happened shortly after Anthony was arrested and placed in the jail in July 2008.

"Casey said she was able to drive her car into the wooded area about a half-mile from her Florida home near a school," a source said. "Then she said, 'When I got out of the car, I tripped over these bricks.' She said she buried Caylee's body nearby, and it was about 80 feet from the road."

Roy Kronk was determined to find the body.

"I know where Caylee is, and I'm going to go get her," he said just before Thanksgiving Day 2008.

According to the source, the key evidence that helped Kronk find the body was Casey Anthony herself.

"The only reason Roy Kronk found Caylee is that the body's location had come to him in a roundabout way from Casey Anthony herself," said the source.

According to the tabloid, prosecutors learned about this development on February 3 and are evaluating the new evidence.

If this evidence is entered, it could prove extremely damning for Casey Anthony, who has pleaded 'Not Guilty' to murder charges.

Since they owe so much on the house I think they just decided not to pay anymore and live rent free until the Bank kicks them out. They know that no one in the area is likely to want to buy that house in case Caylee was murdered there, and I think they just wanted to be rid of it and let someone else ( Bank) take the loss.   They will file bankruptcy (again) and move on.

MURDER MOM CONFESSION
IN a dramatic jailhouse confession, Casey Anthony revealed where she buried her precious daughter's body!

The ENQUIRER has learned Casey was overheard in jail describing the exact spot where she hid her 2-year-old girl's remains.

And it was the 23-year-old murder mom's own description of Caylee's grave that led a meter reader to find the child's body, sources say.

"Casey said she was able to drive her car into the wooded area about a half-mile from her Florida home near a school," a source close to the case disclosed.

"Then she said, 'When I got out of the car, I tripped over these bricks.' She said she buried Caylee's body nearby, and it was about 80 feet from the road."

Casey's stunning jailhouse admission, which prosecutors are now trying to use as evidence, came not long after she was arrested in July 2008, according to the source.

Her detailed description of Caylee's final resting place was overheard by a prison employee at the Orange County Jail in Orlando, and spread among other staffers there, the source said.

Meter reader Roy Kronk heard the story from a female friend who works at the jail and decided to search for Caylee's body, said the source.

In August 2008, he trudged into the woods near the location that had been described to him.

"Kronk was looking for the bricks that Casey said she tripped over," said the source. "He found some brick pavers, but they weren't the right ones."

Kronk called the police with tips about Caylee's location three times that month, but a deputy sheriff dispatched to the area didn't do a thorough search.

A tropical storm then drenched the Orlando area and the wooded area became a swamp. But that didn't deter Kronk.

Two weeks before Thanksgiving 2008, his son Brandon said Kronk told him: "I know where Caylee is, and I'm going to go get her."

On Dec. 11, 2008, Kronk returned to the site and found Caylee's remains.

"The only reason Roy Kronk found Caylee is that the body's location had come to him in a roundabout way from Casey Anthony herself," said the source.

Prosecutors learned about Casey's jailhouse confession only recently, and filed a motion on Feb. 3 asking for a private meeting with the judge presiding over pre-trial hearings in the case.

According to the motion, prosecutors want the judge to delay their obligation to reveal the information to Casey's attorneys as they continue to evaluate the new evidence.

Casey, who has pleaded not guilty, is facing the death penalty. Her admission could provide the key proof that leads to her conviction.

Mizjay, I'd like to add my condolences as well.  My bff works for a bank and she deals directly with homeowners and these "so called bail-out programs".  She tells me they are a joke.  People who truly need help don't qualify.

I'm thinking the timing of all these financial woes is curious.  Now that KC is a convicted felon, I think the Son of Sam Law kicks in and with that, there are severe limitations as to how these creatures can profit.  Blink has written about this.  To recap we have:

I am very sorry also. So many hard working people have lost so much. But there is no reason that the Anthonys are losing their home in my opinion. I'm very sure that Cindy could go back to work. And like Darla just said, she worked in an office, it is not like she would be dealing with patients. I really believe this is part of another scheme going on, and I hope what ever this scheme is it backfires.

The difference with the A's and a lot of others.... to most, it's humiliating, it's a blow to your pride, in some cases there was borderline deceit about the terms, your reputation seems tainted, it's disastrous to your credit.........this family seems to have a chip missing . None of these things ever seem to matter to them. Doesn't matter whether it's about the big stuff, your daughter killing your grandbaby, decieving the public, LE, FBI... and now the (little) stuff..the house.  Their past record speaks for itself, this came as no surprise and has ulterior motives.

Now that National Enquirer post is interesting. Because if I'm not mistaken, that is what Lenny was saying for some time now. That Kronk's girlfriend at the jail told him, now how this person overheard I would have no idea. And I have no idea if this is true, but somehow makes sense to me.

Cindy is a manipulator.. I have no proof, just my gut..they recieved alot of money and I have been searching nearby counties to see if she paid cash for a home or condo that they can secretly retreat to when they are booted from their current home. Home health supervisors make approx 50,000 here in Fla, so her disability is around 1800-2000k a month, plenty to pay her mortgage and utilities, if she wanted to. Dont be fooled fellow monkeys.. she has formulated a plan B  ::MonkeyNoNo::

When I first read the article I immediately wondered if Lenny is "the source".  I am also wondering if the foreclosure comments is the Ants trying to take the attention off of their daughters guilt and the news that was going to hit and as a diversion.  Why now is Conway yapping about this?  Why did George not say anthing in his war and peace style feel sorry for poor us letter to Fox about loosing the home, or fighting for the home.  They have managed to keep quiet about being deadbeats until now and there is no way they have not been receiving notices and registered letters over this.  Nope it is not a coincidence. 

I am also thinking in these lines. One thing which bothers me is have they found a way to outsmart the mortgage company and keep the house free and clear. The mortgage foreclosure documents say that the note and trust deed were executed by Cindy and George, but in reality if you look at the note, George's signature is not on any of them.

If he did not sign them in many states they cannot take his part of the property and it puts a foreclosure into a state of limbo and most times unenforceable. Since they have had the benefit of attorneys they may have devised a plan to do this. I also noticed they keep references to parties unknown living in the house which indicates to me they have moved somewhere else.

Hmmmm is right. TY also.   I hope that people with the know-how will really put them under the microscope and find exactly where their money has gone. It's not nice to bite the hands that have fed you.

Lenny called it a "daisy chain" but according to Blink the woman deputy is now dead, so can't be proven.

Turbo.. down here when the clerk of the courts post foreclosures, they automatically include unknown parties or unknown spouse..
but if past behavior is any indication you betcha CA has a place to run to.
Alot of people here in Fla cashed out the equity in their homes in 06, 07 and bought new ones that were affordable and paid cash, and walked away from their old mess and they dont realize yet that they are still on the hook. CA is slick but not that slick lol

You said it, Sunny!  It was also reported in this thread, the A's had been shopping early on in this case for an attorney to work in exchange for future rights to book/movie/television deals.  While I don't want to see anyone lose their home, I think the A's are reaping what they've sown.  Interesting that the second mortgage was 4 years ago.  That seems to coincide with when Casey allegedly ran up Cindy's credit card bills (according to Lee).  Like so many other things, if they'd just held Casey accountable for this, they might not be in this mess to begin with.  Spare the child, spoil the child = correct the child when he/she deliberately disobeys parental instruction.  The most appropriate definition for spoil here is "to render unfit for service".

Truthfully, if I honestly thought a child of mine were being unjustly accused, I'd hit every media source imaginable and likely exhaust my finances in the process...the key word being "honestly".  However, that's not what has brought the A's to this place, IMO.  As for Conway reportedly saying they never saw it coming-HAH!.  I worked in the banking industry for years and I can tell you that is a flat out lie...either his or Cindy's.  I've been in on the chatter between Operations, Loan Officers, and the Teller Line when the first payment is missed.  Sorry, Anthonys but I know for a fact there are regular (in my bank, monthly) meetings with the Loan officers tracking non-payment and the pressure is on to get the $ in; due to the spread between the rates that banks pay to use Fed funds, the interest paid to customers, dividends paid to stockholders, operating expenses (utilities, facilities upkeep, marketing, materials, interior decorating, equipment, software & licensing, security equipment and contracts, salaries & bonuses), required reserve funds banks must keep, and profit.  Computer systems, particularly at large banks like BOA, are set up to automatically generate late notices, with compounding late charges.  I find it extremely hard (impossible)to believe, that the Anthonys haven't gotten their mail or answered their phones since June 2009.  Funny thing, they got their Personal Property Tax form.  Their foundation has received mailed donations, but they didn't get any late notices from BOA?  Suuurrrrrre!  Once again, the lies are so illogical and so easily refutable (not to mention that BOA has to be able to prove in court that the defendant was duly and repeatedly notified prior to the commencement of foreclosure proceedings).  The "Big Bad Bank is foreclosing on us defenseless, unsuspecting, and entirely innocent poor victims " lie really gets my Irish up! I also know for a fact the majority of banks would rather get some money in a reduced-payment option than foreclose.  In a foreclosure, everybody loses.

We know the A's were paid "licensing fees" for pics and videos of Caylee, so where did the $ go?  Was some/all of the funding paying Casey's defense team, a retainer fee, public relations consultant? Also interesting that Casey wouldn't allow Baez to declare her indigent.  You have to admit it would be inconsistent (at best) to claim 2-3 years of full-time employment with Universal/Kodak and simultaneously declare insolvency.

Finally, what's the word on George's LE retirement pension?  Or was that squandered on the "Nigerian gambling" scheme?  Does Cindy have any retirement monies?  Well, assets will likely be court record if this goes to foreclosure.  Weren't the A's getting paid by their "Foundations"?  I'd like to see an independent audit of the Foundations' records, the A's paychecks stubs/ Banking transactions (deposit items, checks written, withdrawals, automatic debits, Cashier's Checks purchased, wire transfers, etc.), as well as all the attorneys /public relations consultants involved (Conway, Baez & Company, Michelle Bart, etc.) that pertain to this case.  Can we say Money Trail?   ::MonkeyWink::  Wasn't the whole point of Lee moving home to help his parents out financially?  Something's really wrong with this picture.  We wondered why the A's have been so quiet...now we know.

I'd work three jobs before I'd lose my house.  Checking in freight in a Target distribution center would hardly draw a crowd, neither would operating a cherry picker there.  Night portering at a fast food restaurant from 12-5 a.m. wouldn't exactly necessitate crowd control either (likewise, working on a landscaping crew around town).  Just not buying it!

The problems of George and Cindy Anthony were a top story at noon today.

WFTV-Channel 9 opened its noon newscast with the story that Casey Anthony’s parents could lose their home to foreclosure. Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee.

“The Anthonys owe more than $115,000 on this house, plus interest,” WFTV’s Kathi Belich reported. “Bank of America foreclosure papers show the Anthonys have not made a mortgage payment on this house since May of last year. Five months after that last mortgage payment, the Anthonys went on a cruise.”

WFTV replayed scenes of the Anthonys facing off against protesters outside the house on Hopespring Drive. “The house is in Cindy Anthony’s house,” Belich said.

WKMG-Channel 6 anchor Erick Weber said the Anthonys weren’t aware the bank had filed foreclosure papers until the station told them yesterday.

They didn’t realize what was coming if they didn’t make those mortgage payments?

WKMG reported that the Anthonys owe $121,000 on the home and were eight months behind in mortgage payments.

Cindy Anthony is on disability from a nursing job, and George Anthony is unemployed.

“The Anthonys say they’ll do everything they can to try to save the home where Caylee lived her entire life,” Weber said.

Could that mean more interviews are ahead?

In other Anthony news, WFTV reported that Zenaida Gonzalez’s attorneys had filed a list of expert witnesses that might be called in her defamation suit against Casey Anthony.

Casey Anthony's family is facing new legal woes: Their east Orange County home is in foreclosure.

Documents filed Monday in Orange Circuit Court show Bank of America is foreclosing on the home of George and Cindy Anthony, parents of accused murderer Casey Anthony.

The Anthony family has not been served with a foreclosure notice, their lawyer said.

Court records show the grandparents of slain toddler Caylee Marie Anthony have not made a $785.82 mortgage payment since June 2009, leading to more than $7,000 in past-due payments.

"This is the only place Caylee ever lived," said Brad Conway, attorney for George and Cindy Anthony. "I will do as much as I can to try to help them save this house."

Conway told the Orlando Sentinel in October 2009 that the couple used money it generated in licensing fees to catch up on other bills, like car payments.

The Anthonys were paid $20,000 in fees by CBS for providing the company with exclusive photos and videos of their daughter and granddaughter.

That same month, the Anthonys went on a three-day Caribbean cruise with son Lee Anthony and his girlfriend, Mallory Parker. Conway said the cruise cost about $300 a person and was planned months in advance.

"The Anthony's are not living lavishly, and the house being in foreclosure proves that," Conway said. "They are struggling to pay for everything."

The home at 4937 Hopespring Drive in the Chickasaw Oaks subdivision was the last place Caylee Marie Anthony was seen alive in June 2008. Her body was found a few hundred yards away in woods in December that year.


The girl's mother, Casey Anthony, is charged with first-degree murder in the child's death. She is being held without bond at the Orange County Jail.

Records show that the Anthonys bought the house in 1989 for $90,900. They refinanced the four-bedroom home in 2005 and agreed to pay $121,180. Court documents show that the lender claims the couple owes about $121,000.

Cindy Anthony, a registered nurse who worked for Gentiva Health Services in Winter Park, has been on disability for several months, Conway said. George Anthony, a former deputy sheriff in Ohio, has worked off-and-on since his granddaughter disappeared but does not have a steady job.

George Anthony has filled out numerous job applications and gone on several interviews, but no one will hire him, Conway said.

"Caylee's death has affected the Anthonys emotionally, physically and financially," Conway said.

I have done some research on George's LE jobs. He did not work for them long enough to draw a pension. Most states you have to work 30 yrs before you draw a pension. A few are 25 yrs. But most are 30 yrs. He worked no where near that time with LE.

How do you spend all your disability income ( from Cindy's job policy) and $20,000 in interview fees and goodness knows how much more, and not pay your mortgage for almost a year? They could have got rid of one of the cars, common sense will tell you that you only need one if no one is going out to work.    How about selling the boat while you're at it...?

To even say this is the only home Caylee ever knew is such an obvious ploy for sympathy.   Caylee is HOME now....earlier than we think she should be, but she is HOME.

Western- Not arguing with you at all as ITA.  Your post reminded me of two things though.  If Lee's statements about Casey racking up credit card bills $40,000+/- on Cindy's card (which appear to be validated by Rick Plesea's e-mail exchanges with Cindy) are true, the refinance would likely have gone to pay off/pay down the card balance.  Another point of reference is the Senate hearings regarding Credit Card practices which prompted many credit card companies to significantly increase minimum monthly payments/reduce the number of days to make payment (to make up for lost revenue)/increase interest rates (and some combining 2 or more of these tactics).  Conceivably, they could be carrying major credit card debt, in addition to the refinancing, in addition to car payments.  There's also medical insurance premiums, doctor visits, and cost of meds for Cindy & George.

If George "retired", is he getting Social Security? Even with 9 months of past due mortgage payments (even with late fees incl), it's less than $10,000.  So where did the $20,000, plus Cindy's disability, plus Lee's financial help go?  Wonder how the cars were paid for or if there are payments (current or past due) on those.  July 2009 would have been a good time to begin selling a vehicle, eliminating non-essentials like hair highlighting, cutting back on groceries, etc.  I'd like to know how Dominic Casey was paid by Cindy.   Seriously, I think it's criminal to be 6 months behind on your mortgage and hire a PI.  At that point, you're stealing from BOA to pay Dominic Casey. JMO  Is there some kind of PI licensing organization one can file a complaint with?  Could Cindy be charge with Bank fraud?       

When was it that Lee was moving home to help with the bills?  He left.....couldn't stand to be around the A's I guess. And to the best of my knowledge we have seen very little of him since then.

The only problem with stashing money away in Shirley's name (or anyone else's for that matter) would be that the other person would have to be complicit or Cindy would be guilty of Identity Theft. I'm not so sure Shirley would go along with this, all things being what they are now.  I could picture Shirley running the idea by Rick Plesea and we all know that wouldn't fly.  I'm thinking the house foreclosure is a planned attempt to "shield" the house from being sold to satisfy a lawsuit.  If it belongs to BOA, the A's are off scot-free financially (they have no source of income other than Cindy's disability) in the event of a lawsuit.  Does that make sense?

One way is to spend money on clothes.  While they may not be expensive, every time we see a new picture of Cindy, we see new clothes, too.  Also, she seems to spend a lot of money getting her hair done.

We know that the Anthony's know they haven't paid their house payment since July 2009. 

If the economy weren't so bad, I believe their house might have been foreclosed on before now.

I can't help but wonder if they "want" to get away from all the bad memories in the house.  If so, they would know that no one would want to buy it because everyone knows what happened in that house.

So, in the A's different way of thinking...they just might think that the best way to get rid of the house is to let the bank take it over.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The home of George and Cindy Anthony, where daughter Casey and granddaughter Caylee lived when the 2-year-old disappeared in in summer of 2008, is in foreclosure.

The Anthony's have lived in the home on Hopespring Drive in the Chickasaw Oaks subdivision since 1989.

Bank of America filed the foreclosure documents in Orange County on Monday. The documents show that no payments have been made on the mortgage since May 2009. The Anthony’s owe nearly $121,000 in principal and $6,000 in interest.

Attorney Brad Conway said his clients' granddaughter's death contributed to them losing the house that Casey Anthony called home from the age of 3, where she raised Caylee, and where she was eventually arrested in connection with her daughter's death.

Conway attributed the couple's latest financial problems to the notoriety of the case and the emotional toll caused by their granddaughter's slaying.

Cindy Anthony told prosecutors that she had to leave her job because of stress-related medical problems and has been on disability for more than a year.

Meanwhile, George Anthony -- like many others in this economy -- is having difficulty finding work, said Conway, who added that George Anthony has an added difficulty because he is instantly recognized and rejected by most employers either because of who he is or because companies fear he may bring unwanted media attention.

Many had speculated that the Anthonys were profiting off book and movie deals, but Conway said this foreclosure proves that never occurred.
The Anthonys said they plan to do all they can to save their home, if only to preserve the place where Caylee spent her life.

Casey Anthony remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in connection with Caylee's death.

Caylee was last seen in June of 2008, but she was not reported missing until a month later. The toddler's body was found in a wooded area near the Anthony home on Dec. 11, 2008.

No one except the mortagage company could go after the house due to fact they have a homestead exemption.

This is just another scam the appalling anthony’s are running. I doubt anyone is still wondering how KC managed to evade having to work for a living as we can see that she learned well from her dear old parents. None of them surprise me with anything they do at this point. Their inflated sense of entitlement, deficit of conscience, manipulation, exploitation and lack of humility are just a few facets of their lack of character. I have a friend that started the process of a government refinance program and then he was laid off during the winter which is the norm for his profession in heavy street paving equipment. Anyway, because he was unemployed the process was halted and will not start unless he is gainfully employed. So, I guess that leaves our grifters GA and CA out in the cold on that one....MOO is that they don't deserve the help nor do they want it.

Hmmm...$750 a month...if you can't afford that...then you can't really even afford a cheap apartment these days. And one thing we know, the A's have been in the house for a long time and taken very good care of it...so I think most people would do everything they could to keep their home...unless they have a plan for something different.

Wow..remember when Cindy was on the stand at the bond hearing and said she would do anything she could to get the money to bond Casey out and the DA asked her where she was gonna get the money and Cindy said she'd take a mortgage out on her house, she'll sell the house, etc.  The DA told Cindy she already owed too much on the house.  Besides, how can you not pay your mortage in almost a year?  Yet go on a cruise and do all the things they've been doing?  Is Lee still living there?  Did he get tired of paying the mortgage for them?  That's the first bill I'd want to pay if nothing else.  Maybe GA can CA can get jobs on the cruise line!

A guy my husband works with owns two townhouses.  When they new law went into effect, something about hardship and getting lower interest rates, on the advise of this guy's attorney he stopped paying his mortgage.  After seven months of not paying it the bank lower his interest rates and he still owns his homes.  Maybe the A's are trying the same thing.

One thing for sure the neighbors will be jumping for joy .... so happy to finally get that family off of their street.

I don't know who is girlfriend is.

There are some rumblings in the ether that might lead one to believe that money is becoming a bit of an issue in the defence of tot mom Casey Anthony. The head ‘Talking Head’ for Baez and his dwarfs was Marti Mackenzie. Ms. Mackenzie is quite well known in the PR world, and as opposed to supposed Pro-Bono work that Bozo Baez and the dwarfs are offering, this lady does not work for free! This ‘Talking Head’ for the Talking Heads has apparently decided to roll up her tent and move on.

More than one media outlet is asking the very pertinent question, is Jose Baez out of cash?

The whole money question is a huge one in this case. The Anthony family is not rich, in fact it appears that George and Cindy Anthony are on the verge of losing their home because of not paying their mortgage since May/09. One wonders where the reported $100k for photo licensing went!

The defence team has been grasping at ever incredible ideas for months. They started out with the Zanny The Nanny story, the only result as far as anyone can tell is that they now face a civil suit brought on by a lady that happens to have the same name and happened to be in the general area at the time. The next targets were Jessy Grund and his father Richard Grund. Having talked to Richard on numerous occasions, I know that these allegations are nothing short of ridiculous. Next on the list for the dwarfs is Roy Kronk, he was the person that discovered Caylee Anthony’s skeleton body in trash bags, and duct tape over the mouth and nose.

Chief dwarf Jose Baez is not qualified to deal with a death penalty case. Actually I am not sure I would want him representing me on a traffic violation. In order to keep his name in the press and the case Baez elicited the assistance of Andrea (I have never lost a capital case) Lyons. Ms. Lyons is a law professor at  Depaul University, I wonder if she is using her students as unpaid helpers? Well hell, everyone else seems to be pro-bono. I wonder what the payoff will be? A+ for the best scam to get Casey Anthony out of the mess?

What I find interesting is that socialite/mover and shaker/attorney Mark NeJame decided to comment on it. Mark as you will recall was the ‘Pro-Bono’ high powered attorney that represented the Anthony family in the beginning of this odyssey:

    “They can always seek to have somebody declared indigent for cost purposes, and then have the county pick up the tab,” NeJame said Nejame also pointed out that defence attorneys have been slow to carry out depositions.

Mark NeJame seems to be doing a bit of a 180 with this statement. But then again he has to protect his current client, so I guess we should not be surprised.

“We’re not going anywhere,” George Anthony told WESH-Channel 2 about the foreclosure on his home.

Anthony didn’t appear on camera, but he talked to WESH’s Bob Kealing.

“They plan to work with the bank to get through this financial crisis,” Kealing reported.

That would be Bank of America, and the Anthonys haven’t made a mortgage payment since June 2009. Casey Anthony and her daughter, Caylee, lived in the home. Casey, the daughter of George and Cindy, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Caylee.

Brad Conway, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, told WESH that the foreclosure proves the couple never had a deal for a book or movie deal.

Conway told WESH “it’s the only house Caylee ever lived in” and “the couple can’t let it go.”

Conway said he plans to work a loan modification with the bank over eight to 12 months, Kealing reported.

WOFL-Channel 35 reported that Conway knows foreclosure firsthand. He owed $300,000 on a condo in downtown Orlando, but WOFL anchor Bob Frier said Conway didn’t want to discuss it. The condo went on the auction block this month.

WKMG-Channel 6 noted that it broke the foreclosure story last night at 11. WKMG’s Louis Bolden said neighbors’ reactions ranged from sympathy for the couple to relief that they might leave.

A neighbor told Bolden: “You don’t have money to pay for your home but you have to go on a cruise — that’s weird.”

The couple owes more than $121,000 on the home.
What’s next? An attorney who specializes in foreclosures told Bolden that the Anthonys have 20 days to respond to the bank’s notice. If they don’t, they could be kicked out in a month or two. If they do respond, they would go into mediation with the bank. But Bolden reported that another expert saw a loan modification as unlikely. Conway told WKMG that the Anthonys aren’t interested in a short sale.

How easy is it to sell an infamous house? WFTV-Channel 9’s Kathi Belich wanted to know.

“Caylee was last seen alive in this house. Investigators have not ruled out that she was murdered in this house,” Belich said.

An Orlando real-estate agent, Sarah Eagan, told Belich someone who followed the case might step in and buy, or the intrigue could prompt a sale.

In other Anthony news, WFTV reported that Zenaida Gonzalez’s lawyers filed a list of 54 expert witnesses in her defamation suit against Casey Anthony. The list is made up of investigators who worked on Caylee’s case, WFTV anchor Martie Salt said.

The home on Hopespring Drive has been the scene of many dramatic moments since Caylee Anthony disappeared. Protesters lined the streets of the subdivision where the home is located at the height of the search for Caylee.

Deputies went to the home several times to try to return calm to the neighborhood.
Bank of America filed the foreclosure notice on the home on Monday. Bank officials said the Anthonys are eight months behind on their $785-per-month mortgage and owe a total of $120,978.27 including fees.

The Anthonys said they haven't been able to work because of the notoriety the case has brought them since Caylee's disappearance.

George Anthony said "We're not going anywhere." But he told WESH 2 that the couple has received many supportive calls and text messages since the story has been covered in the local news.

"I've been on interviews and stuff like that and as soon as they see me, it's like, 'You're this guy.' And some, I guess, they don't want to bring me on probably thinking something negative might come out of something and it isn't. I just want to work again," George Anthony said.

"We're working with the bank to save the house," the Anthonys' attorney, Brad Conway, said. "This is the only house Caylee ever lived in and they can't let this thing go."
The process should take between eight months and a year, and the family expects to live in the house the entire time they are working with the bank to pursue a loan modification to fix the problem.

According to Conway, this foreclosure proves the couple never had a big-money book or movie deal.

I am betting they are working out someway to scam the bank. I noticed that George had not signed the notes and in most states if the spouse has not signed they cannot lose their part. If I were them, I would be very leary of taking Conway's advice since he was not effective in keeping his condo.

Just one of their cruises would have paid the less than $6,000 they are behind. Maybe they should have stayed at home and paid their house payments or even worse get a damn job instead of acting like they are entitled to have everything given to them and paid for with the blood of Caylee.

WOW - I don't think I have ever seen such a list of high ranking law enforcement people. Even the FBI investigators from Quantico - she has nothing to hide and is sparing no expense in proving they slandered and libeled her. Unfortunately the Anthony's homeowner's insurance will most likely pay off and it will never go to court with all the evidence she has available.

I am just so certain that there is a method behind this madness, and they are working the system to their advantage!

Unfortunately that program is a bogus as the half wit in the White House who told it was available. I know of hundreds of people who have tried to use that program and it is non existent. There were never any funds set up through the government for it. They spent trillions of dollars and the only thing they rescued was the bankers and the unions. Some banks will work with people but theirs is BOA who has no reason to work with them because they had the money and did not pay for over 8 months. There are circumstances where they will, but people have to show they had no means to have paid them. If the Anthony's tried to plead this with the bank they could be prosecuted for fraud with all the money they have taken in from TV shows, and their foundation.

I know ... but IMO CinCin enabled and inflamed the slandering of ZFG on television and that point more than likely could be demonstrated in court.  And Casey resided at CinCin's house.

The lawsuit is against Casey, but in the depositions Cindy admitted to her talk on the TV talk shows implicating her also. I don't know if she has been brought into it yet or not, but that is a given before it is all over. Since KC lived in their home and she is a dependent of theirs, their homeowners would be liable for any damages if Cindy was any part of it which she already admitted in the depositions.

Ono, I've been in banking for 20 years - small community bank, nothing like BOA, but we do have 'force-placed' hazard insurance that we can purchase (and pass the cost on to the customer) if they let their homeowner's policy lapse.

I would suspect, however, that BOA probably escrows the insurance and tax money in with their payments, thus they would add 1/12 of the annual coast on to each of their payments, and make adjustments annually as necessary.

*COST, not coast - my cat is on my lap (and my laptop)

Even though they may have home owner's insurance it is doubtful it would cover what Casey did to ZG - most policies have an exclusion for criminal acts.

IMO-the Anthony's master plan is to be as asset-free as possible.  Also, IMO, they surmise that courting sympathy from an unsuspecting and uninformed public [ potential jury ] doesn't hurt either.  This is also programmed.

Not so fast, Brad Conway.  Foreclosure proceedings mean no such thing.  The only thing this proves is that your clients are financially irresponsible.  If you'd like to provide copies of their bank deposit items and debits (automatic and checks) for the last 2 years, as well as their last 2 years' tax returns to back your claim, we may be more inclined to believe there haven't been any deals.  Also, my question to you Mr. Conway is, why weren't Cindy & George working with BOA during the last 9 months?  Every well known financial expert advises the customer to immediately begin discussions with the bank prior to missing that first payment.  Did you advise them not to pay or did your clients fail to take your legal advice?  Given your clients' previous financial history, what little credibility they may have had has evaporated.

Evening, Groovy135, Puzzler, Babybear, tesfan and 13 Guests.  Listening to Brad Conway's take on this, we're supposed to believe that Cindy and George had no indications whatsoever they were 9 months behind on the mortgage and now, they're being unjustly attacked by that bully BOA.  Lame, lame, lame.  Was Cindy so busy that she forgot to make the mortgage payment each month for 9 months?  She must have been hearing-impaired to not have heard the phone calls or warning messages from BOA's call center.  She must have been visually-impaired or illiterate that she couldn't see or couldn't read the past due notices they surely received. Or was it that only their BOA mail was "lost in the mail"?

If you had money in another account and your checking was overdrawn, unless you came in to pay, we confiscated the secondary funds to pay the fees first and then the items.  Wonder if BOA has any similar policies for past due loans?  That would certainly halt any "discretionary spending".

Hello Monkeys.  Good to see you ISpy.  I guess I just missed you. Boo--Boo is lookin' good.

I have a couple of things.  First, I doubt that Casey has confessed to anyone because in her mind she didn't do anything to confess.  Also, if Kronk knew where Caylee's remains were in August, would he wait until December to finally make sure they were found?  I don't think so.  As I recall, the person who claimed that Kronk told him in November that he knew where the body was is Jill Kerley's son, Kronk's step-son.  In fact, I think it was Jill Kerley who said her son said that, and not the son himself.  Many times ex-spouses are very, very bitter, and I think this is the case here.  In other words, I don't believe a word she says.

The other thing is about the foreclosure.  The Anthonys have spent money rather conspicuously.  There's the gold jewelry Cindy now wears and don't forget George's diamond earring/earrings. As others have pointed out, Cindy has a new wardrobe and seems to pay a lot of visits to the hairdresser.  She also looks like she's had some facial work, which isn't cheap (Wish I could afford it.) I don't have a tattoo and I don't know anyone who does, but the large expanse of skin covered by both Cindy's and George's tats probably cost quite a bit.  And there's the cruise.  And the boat.  And the trips. I think they have money stashed away somewhere, money that they got because of their granddaughter's murder.  Blood money.  If I hadn't paid a mortgage for nine months, I'm quite sure I'd be aware of it, as well as being aware I was risking foreclosure which would surely come.  Does Conway lie with the same abandon as the Anthonys do?  It seems so. And now we find out he's an old hand at first person experience with foreclosures.  I wonder why he didn't "Work with the bank" to save his condo.  The time to work with BOA is long gone.  I don't think that Cindy and George being unaware that they were not paying the mortgage is going to work.  But they have demonstrated they are coated with Teflon and nothing sticks to them.  IMO they should both be in jail as conspirators and a lot of other things.

And Conway saying that the home is the only home Caylee ever knew is IMO nothing but a stupid, transparent ploy to get gullible people to send the Anthonys money to save the house.  I hope no one falls for that.  But there have been strangers putting money in Casey's jailhouse account, so who knows? A lot of people don't follow this case as we do and probably feel sorry for those two con artists. I think this is just another con, brought to us by those wonderful folks the Anthonys.

My son recently got a tatoo.  It runs from his shoulder almost to his elbow and it costs $500.00.  To me, George (and Cindy's) tat is as big or bigger than my son's so I'm thinking they probably had to put out at least $1,000.00 for those tats.  I think they are playing the game like they did with the judge.  Remember when they were too mentally distraught to testify and the next day we see George on tv with the Haleighly family?  I suppose the A's are crying poor house, yet they are out spending money. 

I am on the same page with you, ISpy. We know there is an angle somewhere but it is not clear yet what that may be. Conway makes it sound as though paying your mortgage is optional. I know I would not be in my house for 9 months if I failed to fulfill my obligations. A financial expert could probably shed some light. By the way good to see you.

BB~ I think you are right, it's a game. Everything they have done that has been public has a nasty tone like the bully in a school yard "nah nah, we won"   How they can say they didn't have money coming in is a lie. She has been on disability prob approx. 2500 a month, for some period Lee was supposedly contributing 1000 per month, I believe that both of them recieve a salary from the foundation. The extra monies from the pics and tv appearances.  They CHOSE not to pay the mortgage either because they are comfortable with bilking institutions that loan them money or they were ADVISED to start non payment to eventually come to this , public record of no money. They are shysters from the get-go, they learned from the best, the Milstaeds and looks like Conway really lives up to his nickname Conman.

What Conman doesn't say is that that's the only home Caylee ever knew BECAUSE she was snatched from her life by her remorseless mother. Why doesn't he STHU. And just why is he involved in this anyway? It has nothing to do with the ZG case or the murder case, they're so important that they have him on retainer for any and all legal issues? He does all this out of the goodness of his heart?

I have a few things to say about this recent revelation regarding the Anthony's home being in foreclosure   

1)  No shock here, as it certainly isnt a first nor second time for them & this financial irresponsibility began in their early years in Ohio.   
2) Boo hoo, cry me  a river & what a bass ackwards way to beg for money...they really do think the public is dumber than they are!  George can be defiant & Cindy can have a cow all she wants...this time unless some rich jackass saves them in total they are screwed, blued & tattooed.    Maybe they can move in with their buddies the Milsteads HA!
3)   Conman can negotiate all he wants, his clients are beyond delinquent & neither of them are working nor are exhibiting a desire to find work to pay their bills...you cannot consolidate or come to an agreement with a bank if you cannot show that you have a job & are earning income (now that could get interesting) - a promise of future earnings is not what BOA or any other banking institution will accept.   I will bet they earned a heck of a lot more blood money of Caylee Marie's murder than their admitted $20,000, we all know it.  How ridiculous is it to buy a $91,000 home and end up in the beginning twilight of your years owing $121,000 on that very home...everyone does realize that means that they not only more than what they paid for the house but will not profit from the sale of same whatsoever when you tack on penalties, attorney fees (probably back taxes too). 
4)   It will be interesting to see them explain how they are sending Casey cash to spend in jail, go on cruises, get plastic surgery, hairstyling, tattoos, jewelry & God knows what else in lieu of paying their mortgage.   
5)   The Anthonys and Conman also know that they have opened themselves up to a host of lawsuits by several parties, Zeneida & Jesse being at the top of the list, is it the plan to become indigent on paper so the suits will not be filed as it would be a waste of time if they have no assets?   These slugs of society have forever and a day mishandled their finances, ripped others off & throw a pity party for themselves while blaming the rest of the world for their issues...well it looks like karma is finally slapping them in the face harder with each dose of reality they are finally facing.
6)   All they are proving is that it isnt any wonder why Casey is who she is & what she had done having examples such as them for parents.   No, they couldnt prevent her from being a sociopath BUT the environment she was in with the anger issues all of them have more than likely hyper triggered certain components of being a sociopath that is prone to criminal conduct or violence (not all sociopaths commit crimes).   That being said, that is not to imply that this should be used as an excuse for her actions nor lessen her consequence.

Lenny nor Rob visited Casey in jail, however Dominic Casey & her brother indeed did, whatever knowledge Lenny has is secondhand.

What if this was all done on purpose to garner money and sympathy? Something EXTREME to shake money out of pockets since nothing else worked? It's hard to believe, but there are people who would fork out lots of money to help them with this problem. Type in both Cindy and George's names and facebook, and you'll see some people supporting them. The comments there make me gag.

These people did not deserve to have the little angel in their lives. What in the world did they ever do to be blessed to have known her??!! It infuriates me!!

Exactly. If they have to they will hold their breaths till they turn blue, pitch a monstrous fit like overgrown toddlers, whatever it takes to get their way and they will not stop. If one thing doesn't work, they'll just try something else. Whatever they scheme... be it feigning a suicide attempt to nasty threats...even ignoring paying for their home...everything they do and don't do have some purpose for their own selfish reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if they ignored paying for their home on purpose. As if they're owed something! They knew good and well they were facing foreclosure. This scourge will never shut up or go away. Just as kc has carried her lies as far as she has...she learned that from somewhere...that sick relentless attitude she obviously learned from her parents...they will carry on and on and on and on.

I wish the media would ignore them. Maybe someday they will. But even then, they'll find something to keep them under the light of that "microscope". It makes me wonder if there will ever be a day when we stop hearing about their crap? Somehow they keep finding a way to get their names in the news. It will get quiet and the media will actually take their focus off of them, no mention of either of them at all, and TAH  DAH! DARN, they found some way to get the focus back on them again. They love it!

My God, they are so VILE! Everyone that is facing foreclosure knows they're going into foreclosure but they'll try to make people believe otherwise...there's no telling what story we'll hear for the reasons they'll come up with. What really twists my knickers in a knot is that people believe them and help them!!! I just want to shake these people and ask them what about their poor little Grandchild that was murdered by their daughter???

The Anthony home could be on the market soon now that Bank of America has started the foreclosure process. But would you want to live there?

Orlando Realtor Cleve Loveland says moving the house could be pretty hard.

"As long as this case is in the media and until Casey Anthony is tried, it might be difficult to sell it," said Loveland. "I think I could show you five more homes nearby that didn't have that stigma attached to it, and people would rather look at those."

He says the home will probably attract people who are curious about the case, but they're unlikely to buy it.

"Definitely not," said Loveland. "That's just media hype."

But he believes the home will sell eventually. He says Bank of America would be smart to adjust the price down to reflect the scandal.

"Somebody will buy it if the price is right, and it's hard to put a dollar amount on that stigma of knowing that there was an alleged murderer living in the home," said Loveland.

He tells us the Anthony home does have a few things going for it. The house itself appears to be in good condition, and it's in a nice neighborhood.
"I'm sure once all this has faded into the past, a nice family will be living there and take care of the property and maybe change its look a little bit to give it kind of a fresh approach to things," said Loveland.

He says he would recommend the Anthonys go for a short sale, which would be better for them financially. He also says he wouldn't be surprised if an investor bought the property and rented it.

By the way, about the Foreclosure Fiasco...can anyone explain to me why, in the midst of the legitimate tragedy of losing Caylee, Casey's arrest, subsequent court appearances, tv interviews, discovery of their granddaughter's Remains, George,  the Anthonys paid their mortgage?  A year almost to the date of Caylee's disapppearance is when they stopped paying.  They were not  being foreclosed on at that time--it took nine months for that process to happen.  It appears to me that during those chaotic months is when I would be unable to handle my bills and the basics of every day life.  But then again, I'm not special, like the A's.  It's stuff like this, and the ridiculous spin that Brad Conway puts on it, that makes people, (okay, me,) suspicious of their motives.

A day after it was learned that the home where Caylee Anthony once lived with her mother and grandparents was being foreclosed upon, celebrity bounty hunter Leonard Padilla said he's considering helping the family save their home
George and Cindy Anthony on Monday learned that Bank of America was moving to foreclose on their Hopespring Drive home, where Caylee and her mother, Casey Anthony, lived.

Casey Anthony, 23, remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of Caylee, whose remains were found in a wooded area near the home in December 2008. Caylee was 2 years old when she was reported missing about five months earlier.

Padilla made headlines when he posted Casey Anthony's $500,000 bond before she was charged in Caylee's death.

Brad Conway, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, told Local 6 News that the family is not interested in Padilla's potential help with the foreclosure process.

The California bounty hunter who helped bail Casey Anthony out of jail in 2008 is considering helping her parents save their home, Local6.com is reporting.

The Web site is reporting that Leonard Padilla is weighing some sort of assistance for George and Cindy Anthony, whose home is in foreclosure.

It's not clear exactly what kind of help he is offering.

But the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, Brad Conway, said the couple is not interested in Padilla's help.

Their daughter, Casey Anthony, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

She is being held without bail at the Orange County jail.

Bank of America on Monday filed paperwork to foreclose on the Anthony family home on Hopespring Drive home.

So Brad....tell CA to go back to work part time if she can't work full time (which IMO is a lie)

What kind of job is GA applying for that no one will hire him? Just about anyone can get hired as a security guard, even GA.....give us some credit here

Brad, you didn't do so good saving your place.  The A's refuse to work! You think the bank is gonna say oh forget it...we will eat the payments cause it's the Anthony's....don't think so Brad. Banks might work with people have have jobs and have made some kind of effort to either pay, partial pay or make some an EFFORT to make some kind of arrangements before foreclosure.

Don't you think that when the Anthonys look at BC who is paralyzed, in a wheelchair, struggles to work everyday, but doesn't sit back and do nothing, although he would be perfectly entitled to disability, they should be ashamed to say they are 'disabled' and cab't work.  Cindy hasn't heard that old American expression, When the going gets tough....

IMO, there is no reason that they shouldn’t have been working and keeping up with the payments, like anyone else would do. Did Scott Peterson’s parents quit their jobs and lose their home while Scott was on trial? What about other parents of murderers?

Agree with all of the above.  When Padilla first appeared on the scene I did think it was kind of dumb to get Casey out on the promise (If there were a promise) of telling him anything. Also, it was sort of sexist to say after she got her nails done she would talk, as if that's what women have at the top of their list.  Nevertheless, he was an interesting character, except for the toothpick which is gross, and I jokingly referred to him as "My intended."  Well, the engagement is off.  I see clearly now that IMO he just likes publicity. 

Well, Lennie, let me clue you in a bit.  As a woman, if I didn't want to tell something, I wouldn't care much about my nails, in fact they could be pulled out and I wouldn't tell. Most of us have more character and ethics than he seems to give us credit for.  Casey of course has no ethics at all, but to lump us all together the way I feel he did is sexist.  I've always had a soft spot for cowboy songs and cowboys.  But not this song and not this cowboy.

Maybe we Monkeys should get together and buy the Anthony house.  We could sort of use it as a shrine and a vacation house.  We could take turns harrassing the Anthonys, wherever they will be living, and go to Disney World.  I wonder if about Seventy five thousand would take it. Can we swing it?

George and Cindy Anthony, parents of Casey Anthony and grandparents of murdered Caylee Anthony have been served foreclosure papers on their Orange County, Florida home. The Palm Beach Post News states that the Anthonys have received numerous amounts of money because of their daughter's controversial murder case, but the mortgage still isn't getting paid.

The Anthony house is the same house Casey lived in even after her daughter disappeared during the summer of 2008. The house has been filmed numerous times because of the murder, but not in sympathy of the family. Fights between protestors, paparazzi mobs and even Casey getting arrested, more than once, has been filmed on the house's front lawn.

Some people claim the money that George and Cindy have received might have been spent on cruises or other unnecessary lavish things. Most people don't have sympathy for the family as it is, who didn't report 3 year old Caylee missing for almost a month. Caylee's body was later found a half mile from the residence. The location of the body and other evidence led to Casey's arrest and indictment of first-degree murder charges.
The Anthony's bought the house in 1989 for almost $91,000. Court records reveal the Anthonys actually owe more than $115,000, plus interest because they had taken a second mortgage out. The family, despite their recent news-making, is clearly a part of everything that's currently happening in the housing market, and has been happening since the initial housing crisis. People were given two mortgages they can no longer afford to pay.

George Anthony hasn't worked since 2008 and Cindy is on disability, but the reports on how they've managing their money could point to much bigger problems. I think a Monkey-owned house on Hopespring Drive is a great idea.  We could do it on a time-share basis for a cheap place to stay with our families while visiting Disney and rent it out the rest of the time ....that is AFTER somebody goes thru it with a hundred gallons of Clorox to eradicate the Scamthony cooties which are obviously deadly.  What a piece of crap this has turned into.  It's 5:00 somewhere - pass the tequila.

Is it possible that a Casey "jailhouse confession" could be the reason why Baez and team just keep on fighting to have the court disallow the release of videos, etc. of Casey in jail?

I bet that the A's have money saved away: not in an institution where it could be found, but maybe stuffed away in a mattress.  They're letting that house go because they don't want ZG to win her lawsuit and the A's have to sell their home (they wouldn't get any profit from it anyway...Capp spelled that out very well).  IMO it's not coincindental that the A's stopped making payments on their house in the same time frame as they made such a spectacle of themselves in the depos with Morgan.  They knew their gooses were cooked when they saw the video footage of themselves being show on TV repeatedly and day-after-day.

What I was trying to say is that I'm in for buying the place.  I've always wanted to tear up that concrete slab they poured in the backyard, that whole scenario has yet to make sense to me.

Putting aside Lenny's love for media attention, I think it is great that he has offered to help.  George said last night to WESH that he would do what ever it took to save the house.  Lets see if he really meant it.  Lenny coming forward paints the Ant's into a corner to either get a job, sell assets, get out the coffee can buried in the back yard, have Lenny as a landlord or some or all of the above.  How much do they really believe the house is their only tie to Caylee that it means the world to them in the name of Caylee and that their words are true? I want to see what they do now. 

I can't wait too see what they do next. I can't believe they would even consider taking Lenny's help, but with this pond scum who knows. Lenny sure seems to have a lot of money that he doesn't seem to need, helping people like the Croslins and now this.

I wish to heck he would throw some of that money he is willing to give to the UNdeserving Scamthony's, Elizabeth Johnson's way to get her to talk OR add money to the reward for Gabriel so someone who may know something will come forward - I think that would be money well spent.  He will get more recognition and media praise for that than he would helping these 2 bottom feeders.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

I so agree with you.  Someone on BOC (Thinker, I believe,) mentioned that Dominic Casey, the A's and Brad Conway's homes are all in foreclosure.  Add to that the Milstead's recent foreclosure, and you have 4 of the players in this ridiculous Farce who all are or will be homeless.  (Maybe they can all live in the "House of Special Purpose with all the disadvantaged youth!)  So, YES, I think there is a plan, too.

As do I Brandi.  Cindy is too much of a control freak to have missed the numerous calls, letters and notices that BOA would have sent in regards to lack of payment.

The Casey Anthony saga just keeps producing strange reports. How else to explain the return of bounty hunter Leonard Padilla?

WKMG-Channel 6 produced the head-scratching news this morning: Padilla is considering ways to help George and Cindy Anthony keep their home. The couple learned this week that Bank of America had filed foreclosure papers. Although you might ask: Why should foreclosure be a surprise if the Anthonys hadn’t paid the mortgage for months? Another head-scratcher.

In 2008, Padilla posted the $500,000 bail that helped Casey Anthony get out of jail briefly.  She is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. Casey and Caylee lived in George and Cindy Anthony’s home.

This time around, George and Cindy Anthony aren’t interested in Padilla’s help, Brad Conway, the couple’s attorney, told WKMG. Anchor Laura Diaz read the story quickly this morning. And it does sound like the end of it, although with the Anthonys, you never know.

Dominic Casey abruptly moved out of his office space and his home in Longwood is in foreclosure.
I don't remember ever hearing about this before, so my interest was piqued.  I didn't see any links to this, so after I read that, I went to the Seminole County Clerk of Courts website and there is a notice of filing of foreclosure for Dominic and Mary Casey.   
It looks like there was supposed to be a hearing on February 19th, but it was cancelled.

Hi Lovinlife--It's true.  Many people are paying mortgages on houses that have a value lower than what is owed so they are just walking away.   I read that people for some reason are even vandalizing the houses as they leave. The housing crash has been particularly severe in Florida.  I was looking at some houses at Palm Coast and the tax on them was about l/4 of the greatly reduced asking price.  The prices have gone down, but the taxes haven't been adjusted for the new value. So while the Anthonys have demonstrated that they rarely do anything for other than nefarious purposes, it probably is as simple as that.  They owe more than it's worth.  So they stopped paying the mortgage and plan to live there until they are kicked out. Immoral, yes, but we are talking about the Anthonys.

A judge in the murder case against Casey Anthony sided with prosecutors, allowing them to delay the release of information to the public and her defense team.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland is giving prosecutors 30 days before the details will be made public. The information could be released earlier if the reason for the delay no longer exists, he wrote in his one-page order. He also is allowing the state to ask him for an extension if there is still a good cause for a delay.

It's unclear what information the state has. It's described in public court documents as "certain material and information" that have "come into the possession of law enforcement."

Prosecutors provided Strickland with a sealed request that explained why they needed the time.

Casey Anthony, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie. Remains of the two-year-old were found on Dec. 11, 2008 in woods near her family home in east Orange County. The toddler was reported missing to authorities in July 2008 — a month after her mother claimed she last saw the child.

Officials ruled Caylee's death a homicide but could not determine her cause of death.

The state is seeking the death penalty against Casey Anthony, who remains in the Orange County Jail.

I just hope this is some good solid evidence to convict Casey, and even something to put George and Cindy behind bars.

I am wondering something........I was assuming that when the SA asked for this delay that the delay would be for a lot longer than 30 days??  I was thinking indefinitely or until trial.  What does 30 days do for them?  I am very curious about this.

I'm confused about all this homeowner insurance.  When reading my policy, it basically covers any damage to a house or property in fire and specifically does not even cover some natural disasters, I even have to pay extra for flood insurance, as I live in flood zone, though several houses down the street don't.   There are some additional insurance you can purchase for specific items as well, item,  but nowhere have ever seen a homeowner policy cover slander.  I this just in certain policies, I've never seen before, or just something I have misunderstood of my own?

Either way, if it something additional you pay, I cannot EVER imagine them to purchase it, as they are all (choke) saints in there own mind and would never need it.

I wonder if Casey and the Defense are having a good evening......not.

What is 30 days going to do? If the trial isn't suppose to start until next year, 30 days is a drop in the bucket. What could they possibly have? I wonder if they are going to use this evidence to make Casey plead guilty? Is it something that gives prosecution a slam dunk? Did someone see her? Did she confess to someone? Or is it evidence that little Caylee left behind so her killer would be known? Whatever it is I'm sure Bozo and Co. are grilling Casey on what it could possibly be.

Funny you mention honey buns. I was just talking to a friend that just got out of jail for a DWI and said those things are like money in jail. He was on work release and really wanted to sneak in a case so he would have money for everything!

Oddly, I just received my premium notice for my homeowner's insurance and it specifically lists slander and/or libel as not covered. 

I also have an umbrella policy but I pay the premium separately and at a different time.  I don't know if it covers slander or not.  It's with State Farm.

Let me throw something else into the mix.  Your coverage is regulated by the state you live in.   There isn't a standardization of coverage.  It varies from state to state.

In many cases where they want to keep evidence secret it is a witness and most times an eyewitness. I am wondering if someone ratted KC out or if she told someone after the fact.

I heard one of the talking heads talking about this a long time ago and because KC is their daughter and supported by them they are responsible for her actions, just like if my child threw a rock through a neighbor's window. The homeowners pays under the liability portion.

I see him as just another left wing loon who makes excuses for persons who commit crimes. He looks like a left over hippie from the 60s, so who knows where those lame excuses come from. LOL

IIRC, the first time they testified in court after KC was first arrested their house was either in foreclosure or pre-foreclosure at that time according to CA's testimony. In one of the documents released early on their house in Ohio had been foreclosed on so they have a pattern of financial irresponsibility.

Brad Conway, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, told Local 6 News that the family is not interested in Padilla's potential help with the foreclosure process.

JS ordered that the prosecution has a seal for 30 days & they have to inform him why they feel it should be sealed longer within that time frame, its not a seal for the next 30 days only but a granted one with a request that they file just cause as to why the seal should continue thereafter that time period just ordered.

This is such a relief! Oh... to be a fly on the wall!

Not actually true - if the child is over 18 (and not mentally incompetent) the kid stands for them selves. This is different only if the parents assisted in some way. I know that the attorneys make the argument that the parents should have known but in this case I do nto think that argument could be made. KC did her thing (with the exception of the murder) outside the home. There was no way for the parents to control her or prevent her from doing what she did. Now, if CA or GA was sued it would be a whole diffent matter.  Either way, I am not sure it will matter - if the A's were thinking homeowner insurance would pay for it they would have missed the boat already - there is a duty to put the insurance on notice at the time of the complaint being filed or as soon as you know about the possible claim. Then the insurance company can send someone to defend you to protect them.

Casey Anthony’s defense team won’t see some new evidence that prosecutors have for at least a month.

Judge Stan Strickland today ruled that the state can keep the information secret for 30 days, WKMG-Channel 6 reported. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

“No one is allowed to describe what the sensitive information is,” anchor Mike Garofalo said. “At the end of this 30-day period, prosecutors will either have to turn the information over to the defense or ask the judge to approve another delay in disclosure.”

What does it all mean?

The Judge has allowed them 30 days to continue an investigation....

"An active investigation must relate to someone involved in the defense team, or the Anthony family, or is at least an investigation that LE believes one of those people might interfere with- otherwise there would be no need to delay disclosure of the information to defense".

I will be on the edge of my seat for 30 days now.

ORLANDO, Fla. --
Prosecutors in the Casey Anthony case will talk on Thursday with the ex-wife of the man who found Caylee Anthony's body.

Jill Kerley is too sick to travel to Orlando from her home in Tennessee, so the interview will be conducted via the Internet.

Previously, Kerley has said Roy Kronk restrained her with duct tape, and she said he may have had something to do with Caylee's death.

Kronk strongly denies those allegations and said Kerley has an ax to grind.

ORANGE COUNTY — A judge in the case against Casey Anthony will allow prosecutors to keep possible new evidence a secret from the defense for at least the next 30 days.

Judge Stan Strickland signed an order Wednesday and said, if prosecutors need to keep it sealed for more than a month they have to tell him in writing why it's necessary.

Earlier this month, WFTV found out new information had come to investigators that could be damaging to Casey, but just what the information is hasn't been released.

Well by the time the State prosecution gets done with her she will be sawdust & recanting

It would explain his sudden move, ey?   If it does have to do with what Dominic Casey knows firsthand, the fur is going to fly!  This has to be something rather concrete that the judge deemed it sensitive that it needed such protection, pertinent in its value of evidence & not just based on speculation that he ordered the temporary seal with instruction to the State to submit why it should remain sealed beyond the 30 day period or at that time it will be released.

I really think this all has to do with Dom Casey. Maybe he couldn't live with himself and all that he knows? I sure hope so. I'm also wondering if Dom is in some kind of protection as well?

1.  Note that at the first of last year the defense team requested a delay in release of discovery on the basis it would tip the state to what Casey’s defense strategy would be.  Judge Strickland ruled that was not “good cause”.

And there still is no release of discovery by the defense  could it be casue there is none?

2.The Judge has taken the extraordinary step of sealing the written motion the state provided to him; meaning THE DEFENSE IS STILL CLUELESS as to the nature of this SOMETHING.  The Judge has sealed the state’s argument until such time as whatever cause won the delay, exists no more.  ::rhino::

It appears that this new information is either:

*  new physical evidence that implicates a new person in either the commission of the original crime, the cover up of the crime, or some other form of obstruction of justice after the fact and the state is working to complete an investigation on this new person and this new crime (i.e. charge?), OR

*  new evidence/information that has led the state into a new avenue of investigation against Casey Anthony and they are seeking information that could be destroyed if certain parties or the public became aware of it, leading them to take steps to preserve the evidence until they can obtain it, OR

* some one has come forward that the state is concerned if they release their name and/or statement will come under unacceptable stress of some sort that could be so egregious it OUTWEIGHS the usefulness of the defense being privy to the person’s statement.

The ex-wife of the Orange County  meter reader who found Caylee Marie Anthony's remains was scheduled to be questioned under oath this morning.

Prosecutors handling the first-degree murder case against Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, were supposed to question Jill Kerley, who lives in Tennessee, at 10:30 a.m., according to a notice filed in Orange County Circuit Court earlier this month.

Kerley was married to now former meter reader Roy Kronk for about four months.

The state's notice said the deposition time was reserved for three hours. Kerley was to report to an attorney's office in Knoxville.

It's unclear if the deposition occurred and concluded.
A call to Kerley's attorney was not immediately returned, and a State Attorney's Office spokeswoman could not provide details since depositions are not public.

Casey Anthony's defense team had earlier requested to depose Kerley and save her testimony. Orange County Circuit Judge Stan Strickland granted the request, but prosecutors have the right to depose Kerley first.

Casey Anthony's lawyers claim testimony from Kerley will introduce evidence that Kronk should be a suspect in the case. Kronk found Caylee's remains in December 2008 in woods near her family's east Orange County home.

Kerley already told a private investigator for the Anthony team that Kronk once tied her up with duct tape and kidnapped her for two weeks, records said. Her allegations were videotaped and released to the media.

Duct tape is central to the first-degree murder case. Forensic evidence released by the State Attorney's Office shows Caylee's mouth was covered by duct tape when she died.

Kronk's attorney has said his client never hurt his ex-wives and had nothing to do with 2-year-old Caylee other than finding her bones.

Because of an illness, Kerley can't travel to Orlando.

Yep I am a neighbor in the Chickasaw Oaks Subdivision. The anthony's moved in this neighborhood around the late summer 2009. Saw George cutting the lawn many times. They are quiet and there is no media hounding them. But they are two fully functional adults that are using the excuse of the media scrutiny for not working and abandoning a home only to rent a nicer one. Obviously they want to stay near Caylee's area of demise, if not they could have moved to a remote area where the media would never find them. tsk tsk. cat is out of the bag now.

News Flash People. The Anthony's Do not live in that house on Hope Spring. They live in the next neighborhood over on Flatwood Lane. I think the house in rented. So what ever money was not paid on their mortgage for the Hopespring house is now going towards their new house on Flatwood Lane. I can't believe they are trying to make it look like they are in dire straits. Puhleese!
