Attorney No Longer Representing Casey's Parents

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Attorney Brad Conway announced Monday that he is no longer representing Casey Anthony’s parents because of something Casey’s lawyers did.

Brad Conway said in an email that a motion filed by the defense earlier this month contains untrue allegations involving him. Conway says, because of that motion, he is now a witness to an inaccurate legal pleading in court and cannot continue to represent anyone related to the case.

Conway also said that George and Cindy Anthony did nothing wrong and he will continue to support them.

The motion deals with an ongoing dispute over records belonging to a Texas-based search and rescue group. Casey Anthony's attorneys claim Conway had access to the records while they did not.

Conway says it's the "failure of the defense to verify the facts" that forced his resignation.

Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. She says a baby sitter kidnapped her daughter.

With this circus that has been going on which seems like an eternity to me, Caylee the victim, keeps getting pushed further and further away. Defense not allowed access to all TES documents and Conway was and had no time limitations as he is on the same floor as Mr Nejame's office

Bobo says in no way shape or form does their motion misrepresent facts

Bobo takes serious issue with a lawyer using a national forum to air issues rather than calling him.  Conway had Bobo's cell and he choose to not call him.

The Jar wrote a statement so no one can misquote him and he is reading it now.

Reporter asking The Jar about the motion in which it claimed that Nejame had the Ants sign a waiver.

Jar turned it over to Bobo , Bobo says they just spoke to the Ants and it is true.  Kathi asked if the Ants could be confused and Bob said NO the Ants are not confused, they signed a waiver for Conway to sign the documents and Lyon could attest to it.

The Ants want the defense to review all the TES documents and have told Nejame that.

The Jar says the agreement was reached and an order will be signed to review the TES documents.  They will be reviewed at a different location and all this is mute after visiting the Judge this morning.

Bob says the agreement is under seal so they can not talk about it more and an order will be coming out prob tomorrow

Guess I'll chalk it up to more diversion, distraction and a whole lotta media attention. If I didn't know that the defense already had the go ahead to view the files I would think they were being picked on and denied the right to view those files and treated unfairly. They must be reaching out to the uninformed trying to show bias or worse.

I always felt that Judge Strickland leaned over backwards to give the DUHFENSE the edge... no one could reverse his orders and there would be nothing to fall back on appeal...look where it got him...and now I am beginning to feel that JP is starting to lean in the same direction....at first I thought it was give them enough rope to hang themselves....now, I am not too sure...I sure hope I am wrong and just need an enema!!

I would imagine so, because Conways take on the waiver is in direct contrast to Cindy's. Cindy is claiming they were bribed (blackmailed) into signing the waiver if they wanted their attorney to view the TES files. Conway and anyone who has contact with the A's, especially Cindy, must get the uncontrollable urge to take a shower immediately afterwards.

I hope not...at least not until the trial, if there is a trial, is over...that would simply delay the trial until another DP qualified attorney was brought on board and up to speed....we would be looking at at least another 3 month delay...IMO...but afterwards....well.....KARMA BABY KARMA!!

Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez dismissed Brad Conway’s allegations as a sideshow.

But the sideshow was at the top of newscasts tonight.

“I’m not necessarily concerned with the sideshows, and I think that’s possibly the best way you can describe this overall incident,” Baez said at a news conference this afternoon.

Conway on NBC’s “Today” this morning alleged that Baez had filed misleading pleadings about Conway’s dealings with Texas EquuSearch. Conway cited that reason in announcing he was withdrawing from representing George and Cindy Anthony, the parents of Casey Anthony.

Yet WESH-Ch. 2’s Bob Kealing reported that defense attorney Cheney Mason said Casey Anthony’s team and EquuSearch had reached a settlement over reviewing the volunteer group’s records. “The issues that Brad Conway brought up are moot in his [Mason's] words,” Kealing reported.

WFTV-Ch. 9’s Kathi Belich said EquuSearch and the defense worked out a deal — during a private meeting this morning with Judge Belvin Perry — clearing the way for the defense to have greater access to defense records.

There will be an Aug. 30 status hearing in the case, and Casey Anthony is not required to be there, WFTV anchor Martie Salt said.

Sources Say Move Result Of Defense's Recent Filings

ORLANDO, Fla.  -- An attorney has announced he will be leaving the case against Casey Anthony.

WESH 2 News has learned that the attorney for Caylee's grandparents George and Cindy Anthony, Brad Conway, will no longer be serving as the couple's attorney. He turned in a resignation letter Monday morning.
According to sources, Conway's move comes as a result of a new filing by Anthony's defense in their ongoing dispute with Texas Equusearch.

In that filing, Jose Baez, Casey Anthony's attorney, claims Conway was given unrestricted access to review 4,000 pages of volunteer documents while the defense has not been given the same access.
"The defense motion filed on August 9, 2010 contains allegations that are not in fact true. As an officer of the court I cannot stand idly by knowing allegations involving me have been misstated. I am now a witness to an innacurate legal pleading filed in our court system. As such, I cannot continue in good conscience as a legal representative," Conway's letter said.
WESH 2 reporter Bob Kealing showed Baez Conway's resignation letter Monday.

Judge Belvin Perry held a meeting on Monday with the defense, prosecution and Equusearch attorney Mark NeJame and defense attorney Cheney Mason said a settlement was reached.

Mason said the defense will get access to the Equusearch documents they have been seeking.
Perry said Conway's are not of his concern and he wants to move on with the case. Baez said he wants to move on, too.

"I have a case to try," Baez said, and I'm not necessarily interested in the side-show."

Conway has been a trusted friend and advisor to the Anthonys for almost two years. At their side during George's suicide attempt, many court hearings and national television appearances.

Casey Anthony is being held on no bond in the Orange County Jail.

She is charged with murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home in December 2008.

Anthony maintains a nanny by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped Caylee.

The 24-year-old mother's trial is set to begin in May 2011.

In my opinon:

This tells me that The Jar is [ rightly so ] now worried about his reputation;  It was the Ants who disagreed with Judge Strickland's original order regarding the TES documents and must have raised /and still raising, all sorts of hell about it [ didn't Judge Perry basically uphold Judge Strickland's ruling? ] ultimately causing Judge Strickland to recuse himself;  The Ants are the ones behind the curtain demanding a TES witch hunt.

Although the access to the TES records is apparently a moot point now, I have some questions about Mark NeJame having given access to Conway at all.  First of all, since Cindy and George are not on trial nor are they parties to the trial, why would their attorney have access to anything pertaining to the trial? IMO Conway had no more right to access those files than an attorney for anyone, including you and me.  Furthermore, I believe those files are the property of Tim Miller and TES.  If that's the case, how can NeJame allow anyone to see them barring a court order to do so?  I believe that the people who volunteered with TES to search for Caylee had every right to expect privacy.  I don't know what, if any, personal questions they answered but I'm sure they did so with the expectation that the information would be held in confidence.  Now Baez and his mischief makers will probablly drag these people through the mud as he has everyone else who's name has come up innocently in this case.  Many people have had their lives changed forever because of this.

I do not believe that NeJame had any right to show those files to Conway or anyone else unless he had Tim Miller's permission or a court order compelling him to do so, whether it's 32 or all 4,000 or whatever it is.

I remember when NeJame represented Cindy and George and many of us disliked him tremendously, including me.  IMO he has not suddenly become hale fellow, well met. I remember that ad someone put up about having your baby's tush cast in metal.   I thought it was child pronography.  Anything NeJame does will forever be suspect to me.

I'm thinking we should calm ourselves and not believe or 'buy into' what the Defense puts out into the media.  They love to twist things and cause hyperventilation--it's all they have---causing confusion.  I'm thinking that prolly Judge Perry upheld his ruling regarding the TES documents and also prolly scolded the Defense, but wisely kept the meeting's minutes  today private so as not to muddy any public perception waters.

His mistake was joining this Defense circus, imo.  What a sad way to close out a law career ...

But Sunny, thank Goodness they didn't, as then that would give the appearance of evil.  TES has been completely above-board.  It's the Ants who cannot accept that fact, imo.

It's all been a tempest in a teapot.  I've noticed the Defense goes ballistic on the airwaves when they're losing ground, IMO.  When the Defense is the most media vocal-I can pretty much count on that they're losing their case, IMO.

Hi Ono...I hope I am not buying into anything they said....I believe they were told to do exactly what they were ordered to do.....however, just the fact that JP didn't have a hearing on this and conducted a meeting in chambers gives me a hinky feeling. I hope it's because JP raked the Duhfense over the coals....but my gut tell me that was not the case.  I feel badly for any searcher who's personal information will now be open for the Duhfense to harass.

Tim would never do anything that wasn't above board.  He first concern is always for the searchers. And now they are going to be laid out bare assed for the duhfense.....it's just so damned WRONG!!!

I agree.  As previously posted, I also think the wording of "the killing" of Caylee is significant.

I have been asking that question too....Why was Conway allowed to look at those files at all? Especially when Casey Anthony, and her only, is on trial and Conway, in no way, has ever represented Casey.  This is possible evidence in a murder trial he was allowed to look through and go back and report to C & G what he found.  HUH? 

The only thing I can come up with is that NeJame, maybe Tim too, wanted Brad to see for himself that the area where Caylee was found WAS INDEED UNDER WATER and was NEVER SEARCHED by TES/Volunteers so as to stop the BS Cindy was spewing about TES and the whole situation of Caylee being placed there by someone other than Casey. However, NeJame knows first hand that Cindy is on a crusade to spare her murderous daughter and the truth does not stop her, so why would this be any different? I just feel it was a huge mistake that NeJame decided to let Conway go through the files. 

Sorry for the o/t, but another mother is suspect in killing her two children by driving the car into a river in South Carolina, just like Susan Smith.

Anyone with any common sense realizes that NeJames made all that available to the defense. They LIED tying to say they didn't. They LIED and whined about two boxes they were not allowed access to which were administrative papers which did not even come under the court order. When they were there they didn't even go through all the other boxes but yet they YELL MORE LIES to make people think they are not being treated right. They had access to those documents for MONTHS and never bothered to even go to NeJames office to view them. What they didn't like was that the "viewing" was going to be supervised at all times so they could not take any documents or copy them.

Remember all the hoopla when the other attorneys were in town and NeJames made them available months ago but NO ONE showed up?  

There is NOTHING in those documents which is going to help that child murdering ho dog and they all know it. This is just another red herring to try to get the trial put off because their stupid *sses are too dumb and too incompetent to put on a serious murder trial.

I just finished catching up here and in putnam!
Its all about nothing. Perhaps Bozo is making a fuss to put doubt about the water or not issue. He is a carcrash..I think any of us has a better grasp of law and strategy than he has displayed so far. As for Brad, it was a great opportunity to jump off the crazy train after the Ants appearances on TV again. I strongly suspect they did that against his advice. Glad to see he grew a pair.. too bad it took sooo long. I have a suspicion that .. who knows? maybe he and MN had a good talk and BC realized he was ruining his career for these vile creatures..I say let them ALL talk. In the end, people who can't shutup end up crucifying themselves with their lies and inconsistencies. KC & CA are cut from the same cloth.. Rosebud will hopefully talk her self right into a cell.  My suspicion is that Rosebuddy will either have a mental breakdown come trial time or with any new accusation of molestation and then kill himself after the trial....

Another thing which bothers me.  Those TES files were in Texas.  Neither Judge Strickland nor Judge Perry had the authority to subpoena them to FL.
How did they wind up with NeJame?  I know that he is TES' lawyer, but why did he bring those files to FL in the first place?  I think TIM Miller probably trusted NeJame to safeguard them and allowing the Anthony's lawyer to look them over and report back to Cindy wasn't something he anticipated.

I am sure that not one of the TES volunteers searched the place where Caylee's remains were found unless they were wearing scuba gear.  In fact, nobody did because nobody could.  I think it is extremely important to maintain privacy for those volunteers because anyone watching this might not want to get involved in such a mess and if they were inclined to do so, might not help search.  Personally, I would think twice and maybe three times about it. Is Baez now going to come up with 4,000 suspects and do to them what he has done to the Grunds?

So, IMO, the only thing this exercise in the absurd has accomplished is to perhaps hinder the work TES and Tim Miller do.  And that's a shame because they do good and important work.

And all to save the life of the murdering s**t of Orlando.

I still have faith, so far in JP.  The trial is still quite aways out.  Maybe he's giving some leeway now, until it becomes more important during trial. I honestly think that one of Judge Perry's many virtues is impeccable discretion and prudence, so as to not embarrass anyone, the meeting was hashed out private. 

A lot of times attorneys come out to the media and deliberately put fake smirks on their faces when they've been read the riot act by the Court or they've lost a round and it bites---those fakey blusterings are all for show many times.   It's the quiet attorneys which are usually winning the game.

One thing the defence seems to forget is the fact that no matter where the jury is selected from they are all Florida tax payers and I'm sure they are not making any points with this circus.

They may get more than they want or bargained for when they start harassing some of the searchers. There were people from many states there. I can assure you that there are some who will not put up with any crap but will have them in their LOCAL courts for invasion of privacy in a flash if they can't connect them to that area and even call them more than once. Here is what I was told today in reference to this:

This is good news but it still puts the burden on the volunteers.

I agree, imo, this is all a big distraction & I don't see the Defense winning anything new;  Today Conway poked a stick into the wasp nest and the wasps came flying out ...lol

EquuSearch Director: Group was Abused by Anthony Family (A MUST SEE video)

Lawyers for Casey Anthony are focusing on a Houston area man in their efforts defend the only person arrested in Caylee's death. They say Texas EquuSearch's Tim Miller may be able to prove their client isn't a murderer.

The defense wants the names and phone numbers of the thousands of volunteers that helped with the search. Miller has consistently said no because releasing that information will make it nearly impossible to find future volunteers in high-profile cases like this.

Monday, a lawyer for Anthony's parents stepped down after seeing some of the search documents, claiming they invalidated part of the defense's case.

"It's a circus. It's a show. It's to distract everybody from what it's really about," said Miller.

The defense has claimed searches tampered with evidence. EquuSearch never found the body. It was recovered after the search had been called off due to high water following a tropical storm. Caylee's body was found after the water dried up.

"Houdini couldn't have found Caylee Anthony's body. Everybody did the best they could do," said Miller.

The defense wants the names of roughly 4,000 EquuSearch volunteers who helped. Miller believes it's all to distract the case away from Casey Anthony.

Miller wants to protect the volunteers. He said there's nothing his searchers did wrong.

"This is sending a terrible message. Who would want to volunteer if they're afraid that their information is going to be given to some defense attorney who's a nobody?" questioned Miller.

The Lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony stepped down after reviewing thousands of Texas EquuSearch documents, claiming he now knows the defense is flawed.

Brad Conway released this statement Monday:

"I am now a witness to an inaccurate legal pleading filed in our court system."

Meanwhile, miller said the case has cost him $108 thousand and forced him to turn down roughly 25 families that genuinely needed his help.

After the trial he's ready to be done with the Anthony's forever.

"They're the most cold-hearted family in the United States of America," said Miller.

The Anthony trial is set to begin next spring.

As others have said, I too agree that "the killing of" Caylee is important.  Could even be the bottom line for Conway.  As another said, that ends his resignation with an exclamation mark.  Punctuating, if you will, his reason for the resignation, IMO.  No matter what else was said.  He very likely was biding his time, waiting for the perfect out, as the A's atty.  Now he can fully focus on.......... the truth of the matter. 

Can you imagine how this must have been for him all this time, representing the A's, but evidently in his heart believing the opposite of the BS that Cindy/George have been spewing?

Evening, all!  O.k., I think I finally got this. Baez, per Cindy Anthony, has argued in his motion that Mark Nejame stipulated (required) the Anthonys to sign a waiver of confidentiality in order for Brad Conway to see the TES docs.  Mark Nejame filed a rebuttal basically this assertion a lie.  To settle this dispute, Conway would be forced to testify against his clients as to the validity of Cindy's claims. It's a no win situation.  Testifying against Nejame, he commits perjury (not to mention libel, slander, incurring the wrath of the Florida Bar Association, and losing his license to practice law).  Testifying against the Anthonys is legally unethical (although not morally, per me).  Although IMO, Brad Conway could have submitted his resignation to Judge Perry first to offset the Baez Blitz, I applaud him for not directly contacting Baez (who no doubt would have called the Anthonys who would have pressured/threatened Conway to go along to "save Casey")....MO.  I don't mean to sound hardhearted but Conway should have known better.  You swim with the sharks and it's just a matter of time before you get bitten (particularly when the sharks are biting each other all the time and there's already blood in the water.  Whether Conway knew of Cindy's intentions or not, I don't know, but Cindy clearly knew what she was doing and her part in this little chumming incident here http://www.wftv.com/pdf/24581702/detail.html (http://www.wftv.com/pdf/24581702/detail.html).  Why was Cindy writing a letter to Baez, rather than her own attorney handling this?  IMO, Baez and Cindy are collusion (collusion: secret agreement or cooperation especially for use in a deceitful purpose-Webster's Dictionary).  Cindy will go to any length necessary, IMO, to save Casey because it is imperative to saving herself. Wonder how Conway feels to be thrown under the bus by Cindy, pro bono and all?
I totally agree with Seamus O. Riley, Cindy is conniving, manipulative, a practiced liar, and possibly even a sociopath.

Baez and company opened a huge can of worms by basically alleging Mark Nejame has blackmailed the Anthonys, in order to further his finances/enhance and secure a book deal (read between the lines of his so-called motion).  Baez has a big ego problem and he's about to fall in this case.  If Mason knows what's good for him, he'll get out while he can...although, he's no better, making snide references to Nejames' height in his statements...how childish!  But, that's what people do when they have no leg to stand on in a debate or court, they begin personally attacking the opposition because they have no facts, no logical argument, no defense.  Baez is an ineffectual attorney and will lose his license when it's all said and done and the dust settles.  Nejame will be the last man standing, I have no doubt.  All MOO

no rose- Your comment sparked a thought in my mind.  ITA with you!  Cindy's engaging in her classic passive-aggressive behavior, except this time, it's a battle to the death (literally to the death, of Casey).  Two things are in play here, IMO.  Casey has committed two equally unforgivable offenses in Cindy's mind:

• she eliminated the object of Cindy's affection and the source of Cindy's control (Caylee), thereby overthrowing Cindy (a coup d'etat, if you will)
• she rejected, abandoned, and replaced Cindy with Jessie Grund, Annie Downing, Amy Huzienga, etc.  (in Cindy's mind)

That's why Cindy, in her recently released letter to Casey, apologized profusely for saying that Dominic Casey was her best friend, instead of Casey.  It's also why Cindy kept reiterating how she was the only one who really knew Casey and understood her, that she was Casey's best friend.  Cindy needs to be Casey's best friend, as well as savior because Cindy believes she is...it's an ego thing. The very public nature of this whole case, Casey's ultimate betrayal, and Cindy's ego, all force Cindy to defend her "enemy" so to speak.  IMO, this is what prompts Cindy's little "leaks" or what some of you have accurately described as "jabs":

• "My Caylee Is Missing" -Cindy's entry is primarily a soliloquy on loyalty and subsequent betrayal
• "Caylee is not in the woods"
• "Casey had to have had help." (trunk clean of fingerprints except one latent, washing pants and knife, etc.)
• "the body had been moved several times" (decomp hits by cadaver dogs in two backyard spots, )
• "There's no fibers, no fingerprints, no DNA of Casey's or anyone in our family..."

While in the throes of waging war to defend her daughter, Cindy's simultaneously firing shots across the bow to sink her intentionally, IMO.  Casey knows exactly what the score is because she knows Cindy the best also.  This is a battle of epic proportions between Cindy and Casey.  Casey has cut all ties to Cindy & George and that's what scares George.  They are so far into this, they feel they have no choice but to play nice with Casey.  Manipulating Cindy by playing to her ego (allowing her to "help" Jeanette, the Mitigation Specialist), Casey got the expert documentation she needed and she really has no use for Cindy now.  Cindy, IMO, is going to be beaten at her own game.  Casey will be delighted when Cindy is convicted and ends up doing some time herself on obstruction, impeding an investigation, destroying evidence, fraud, etc. (IMO).  No wonder this family is sooooo messed up.  All MOO

Hey, loca!  There's a side of me that would like to see Baez busted down a peg or two.  I hope it's righteous indignation.  Then I remember God is in control and Baez isn't getting away with anything in His court.   ::MonkeyCool::  When Baez pulls one of his stunts, that just makes people like me pray even more so.  LOL!  I look at it this way, every morning Baez wakes up, he gets one more chance to get his heart right with God.  God is merciful and unwilling to lose even one.  But by the same token, God is a just and holy judge.  Baez' chances are limited and he'd do well to not mistake that grace and mercy for permissiveness.  God also gives those chances so that no man is without excuse.  Unpopular viewpoints I'm sure (and I completely understand), but I pray for Baez too because so far, he seems to be a doing a pretty good job of running every aspect of his life...straight into the ground. IMO

In the meantime, God's been working all along on Caylee's behalf in this case.  Funny how all those partying pics were so readily accessible.  Equally funny how they became so readily admissible. Those music-to-the-Prosecution's-ears Anthony family jail phone calls and visits, routinely recorded by OCSO-all admissible.  All the Cindy & George Anthony interviews and depositions, ripe with documented inconsistencies and chock full of admissibility.  A meter reader, off the beaten path, finding our girl.  Who knew?!! God knew.  Casey Anthony collecting scores of death-related, parent-hating, narcissistic pics and sayings in her personal photobucket...never once dreaming they'd be admissible and provide justice for the child she hated.  Pages and pages of Casey's e-mails and social networking posts being routinely archived on a server, all the while laying a trail defining character and motive. Thanks for posting TM's interview.....God Bless that man.  In the short interview, TM says he will NEVER step foot in Florida again due to the Anthony's and this case.  I do hope he will reconsider that feeling in the future, we need Tim and his organization just as much as any state.  I fully understand where he is coming from but I don't think there are any other families like the Ants, at least I pray there isn't. Morning Monks!  Tupelo, so true.  As a friend said last night...they are proving over and over they have no defense....nothing, nada....their fishing expeditions keep coming up with nothing.....so they keep fishing and throwing out smoke screens because they have nothing else.  He said they are not working on a defense for her, they are working on the penalty phase....mitigating circumstances, trying to 'save her life'. They know she is guilty, they know she will be found guilty, they are trying to save her from the DP and to them,  this will be a victory.

Hi BB, it is my understanding that TES/MNJ were simply being above board. Tim knew exactly when and what areas were searched and which were not. He knew the exact area where Caylee's remains were found was not searched and why. There was nothing to hide. Tim does not have the manpower to go through all the files, so they were brought to FL, gone through and identified searchers who were near the area. The bottom line is they are DONE...........KC is DONE and they are done.......it is over. None of their lies have worked and each day more of them are exposed. They can no longer hide from the lies they have told and no longer hide behind "mis-speaks".

I will make a prediction here that after the trial is over they will be prosecuted and with a vengeance. They have tried to destroy SO many people in this it is coming back to them and they will not escape. The really sad thing is NO ONE cared about Caylee. She was just another possession and when she was murdered, and thrown out like trash, the show must go on. For that I hope they all rot in hell.

Baez has been laser focused on those records, he is lazy and stupid. We're taking it at face value that he, in his infinite wisdom, will be able to scan hundreds of files and have any clue as to why any one person can offer info more valuable than the next.
I believe they Know what name they're looking for, it's just supposed to look like a new discovery, but I'm not buying this business that it's a fishing expedition anymore. One of their "investigations" or sympathizers gave them a name....what & where they're going to try and go with it, ???

Casey Anthony Owes $381 From Theft Case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Court records show that a collection agency has opened a case to recover money Casey Anthony owes on her theft case.

According to court records, a collection agency called "Alliance One" now has a pending case against her.

Anthony owes $381 related to the charges to which she pleaded guilty in January.

Anthony admitted to stealing money from her friend Amy Huizenga's checking account.

Corrections records show that two small deposits from people out of state have gotten Anthony’s jail account out of the red, but just barely.

Tim Miller's interview was great.  How wonderful to hear someone say publically what most of us have said for years about the Anthonys.

Up until now, the Anthonys were covered with Teflon.  They were protected from prosecution for reasons unknown, and they were protected from criticism because they were "Grieving grandparents."  I hope Tim's candid and truthful interview will change that. 

Tim saw them up close.  Tim was a target of Cindy's ire.  He survived, stronger than ever.  Some other men haven't.  We've all seen Cindy's technique, hug, rub, hug, rub.  I doubt she tried that with Tim, but if she did, he didn't fall for it.  Her next technique, if the huggy, rubby thing doesn't work is to emasculate her victim.  Well, that didn't happen either.  Tim must have been quite the challenge to Cindy.

A funny/irritating OT true story.  My bf's daughter who gives me much insight into the caseyesque mindset and lifestyle recently decided that a vacation is in order. It's been a hard year of scamming and applying for grants and it's tough work keeping up with govt. assistance etc, so she pinned her hopes on going along to Virginia Beach for a sport competition, all that was required was go ask businesses for donations, have the kids sell coupon books which essentially was supposed to be for the athletes fares but with the coach's blessing (cause his family also benefitted) agreed that if she could raise funds the whole family could go. Basically a free ride for a pack of bums.

I am not a lawyer either but I am pretty sure there is something wrong at least business ethically if not legally with advertising for someone with a credit score over 675 because theirs sucks and then leasing stuff for them , releasing it back to them because they have a sucky credit score (gee that should alert anyone stupid enough to give them the money) and then getting $5,000 off the top to do it   ::MonkeyNoNo::

It is a source of incredibility to me that Cindy Anthony has not been prosecuted.  I think it likely that some of the things she did on the night of July 15, 2008 have passed their statute of limitations.  If the statute is two years,  much of what she did in the days following finding the "Smells like a body in the damn car."  I don't know what the statute is for any of this actually, just assuming two years for some things.  I wonder what the statute of limitations is for lying to LE, tampering with evidence, interfering with an investigation, perjury......I think a lot of other things which are unlawful were performed by Cindy and probably George, too. If George actually did move Caylee's remains, I think there is a law against "Abusing a corpse."  All of this is just my opinion, but it does seem to me that the attitude of all of Orlando LE mirrors the attitude of the officer who told Lois "Haven't the Anthonys been through enough?" when she claims Cindy, George and Milstead were chasing them at a high speed through a residential area.  Lois claimed that Milstead put a blue light on his car for the chase.  I wonder what would have happened if the patrol car hadn't happened to have been parked there that night.  Would they have harmed Lois and her passenger?  Would Milstead have impersonated an officer if he had succeeded in stopping her if the officer hadn't been there.  What would he have done then?  The Anthonys were acting in concert with Milstead.  Lois was there legally and not on property belonging to either the Anthonys or the Milsteads.  Yet, the response was, "Haven't the Anthonys been through enough?"  In fact, that has been LE's attitude for every Anthony transgression.  It really makes me angry.  I believe if I, a law-abiding citizen were involved in this high speed chase, pursuing an innocent driver, I would have been arrested.  (Not that I would do a thing like that, though.)

At the beginning I felt some sympathy for the Anthonys in losing their charming granddaughter.  Then Cindy showed her true self, a selfish, vindictive, evil person, not, IMO above flaunting the law.  George seemed honest at the beginning, but not if he actually had moved Caylee, but he too is evil and stupid.  His fake suicide, his fake tantrums, his lifting his head in that arrogant pose he does.  I'd like to slap him.  I who have never hit another person, would like to slap him.  That's what they do to me and I suspect many others.

It would make me happy to see Cindy and George arrested, but the way things look, they are untouchable.  I wonder why.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Defense attorney Richard Hornsby told WESH 2 that raising reasonable doubt over who placed Caylee's remains in a wooded area along Suburban Drive is critical to Casey Anthony's defense.

Hornsby said that critical critical issue is at the heart of why Anthony's defense is entitled to Equusearch records.

"If they can't determine she placed the body there, they're going to have a hard time determining she killed the child," Hornsby said.

During a closed door meeting Monday, Judge Belvin Perry gave Jose Baez and the defense a big victory -- the right to determine which volunteers searched the closest to where Caylee's remains were later found.

"The bottom line is, we want to know what happened out there," Baez said.

Had Perry not given the defense this ability, Hornsby said any conviction would have likely been overturned.

"It would have come back on appeal, this is the heart of the defense," Hornsby said.

Since there doesn't seem to be a chance in hell for a defense for Casey, could Cindy be doing everything possible to help ensure that Casey's defense team hits snags? 

Could Casey's attys all quit at some point or get disbarred?  And if so, then would this case go to mistrial?  Is that what the defense might be aiming for,  with all their seemingly asinine duhfense tactics?

Now add together all the forensic evidence with the 31 day time frame and who knows what else the State has that we won't be privy to until trial and I just don't see how it this can't be a guilty verdict. There are too many searchers who will say there was water in that area and unsearchable if someone tries to change the facts.  Baez has to know that.....ya think?

hey everyone how is everyone? i came to florida from nc i have a couple of questions can someone please answer me? i am planning on going to visit wear caylee's remains were found..i have a address 4937 hopespring dr, is this cindy address or is this the address where caylee was found? also if this is cindy address..does anyone know where i go from there house to get to where caylee was found..please help me, it is very important to me that i go there before i head back home in the morning :(

luvmyboys that is the home address of Cindy. I am not sure where they found Caylee at but it is down the street on the same side of the street. Do not think there are any markers that show where the lot is that they found her on. That huge cross was taken down a long time ago. All I know is if you get to the school you went too far. I know this is not going to help you but just wanted to reply.

Omg they took down the cross. When I read that. My heart fell. That makes me so sad :(  so there is nothing at all there anymore? My heart is brakeing into pieces. When I was at sea world today I was watching the whale show with my boys. And b 4 the show started they were playing a song and showing children playing with animals and just there reactions 2 all the animals. I started to cry and my little 7 year old looked at me and said. What's wrong mommy. R u thinking of caylee. He had over heard me talking to my husband about. I was wondering if caylee ever went 2 sea world. And thinking of the fact that she never will again if she ever did. I am so sorry you guys. I just went on and on. I am really sorry :(

The family and me (I?) was (were) in Florida in June.  We rode by the A's home and then went directly down the street to Suburban Drive and that's where Caylee was found.  It's not hard to find...just at the end of the street.  There's nothing there to say that Caylee was found there and I don't know how the A's can go down that road anymore knowing their grandchild was laying in that swamp for a whole month.  It's all grown up again since LE cut it down when they were looking for her remains, so it gives you a pretty good idea how it was when Casey put her little body in the woods. 

Hey luvmyboys!  Sorry I missed you earlier today, headed to Juniper Springs for a refreshing dip.  Nope, no more memorial, but the area on Suburban, where Caylee was found, is down the street from the Anthony's, take a right and it should be a cleared out area on the right hand side of the road not too far down.  Please take a look there, you will be able to see how much lower than the road the land is. Also, we are definitely into a daily rainy pattern....would be interesting to see if there is any standing water at all.  No major storms to cause flooding, but just normal summer rains.  Good Luck.

I don't think there is any statute of limitations on fraud and my guess is that will be one of the charges before this is over.

Makes me wonder how the Anthony could drive down that road past where (she was) at the time ! they drove by their day after day as her bodys skeletized. How in god's name did they do that! they knew! she was laying there in a garbage bag. The money!! thats all I can think of. How sad so sad.

It is gonna be really hard for me not to stop and knock on cindy's and george's door. And give them a little bit of my own words. And if I did not have my boys with me I prolly would do just that. But I do no that if I was to stop at there house I would most likely go to jail. And I just can't do that to myself. UGH I would just love to have a good old fashion talk with them. Oh my I am giving myself a headache I can feel my blood pressure going up. But yes I will make sure I check to see how much water is there.

Without looking at the map.  If you are at the Anthony's door looking out at the street you would go RIGHT down Hopesprings and turn right at the end of the street.  Cayle was found on the right hand side of the road a little ways down..not far. 

I would not go to the Anthony's home.  You wouldn't want a stranger coming to your house and I'm sure they wouldn't like it either. 

I am not going to go to there door. I was just saying how much I would like to.

I agree with klaasend! dont do anything that would get you in trouble. They are not so worth it!  Just be glad that you were able to see caylees site and leave at that. theres only one thing we can do for caylee now and that is to continue to pray for justice. Even when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel !!   I am like everyone else I want to  give them a piece of my mind! but fer what! cindy could care less! she loves to argue and you would only be feeding into her sick  mind. I really am not going to go to there door I promise. I really was just saying that how I would love to give her a piece of my mind!! And I do know that it would be stupid of me to do that. ORLANDO, Fla. -- Defense attorney Richard Hornsby told WESH 2 that raising reasonable doubt over who placed Caylee's remains in a wooded area along Suburban Drive is critical to Casey Anthony's defense.

Hornsby said that critical critical issue is at the heart of why Anthony's defense is entitled to Equusearch records.

"If they can't determine she placed the body there, they're going to have a hard time determining she killed the child," Hornsby said.

During a closed door meeting Monday, Judge Belvin Perry gave Jose Baez and the defense a big victory -- the right to determine which volunteers searched the closest to where Caylee's remains were later found.

"The bottom line is, we want to know what happened out there," Baez said.

Had Perry not given the defense this ability, Hornsby said any conviction would have likely been overturned.

"It would have come back on appeal, this is the heart of the defense," Hornsby said.

Morning everyone. I just left the where caylee's remains were found. And I said a little prayer to her and I also sang you are my sunshine to her. And I told her all about everyone here at scared monkeys. I just can not believe that there was nothing at ALL out there nothing no stuff animals no cross no nothing. I knew the cross was gone. Someone here told me last night. I guess I was just exspecting to see something.I am headed back to NC now. I just felt in my heart that I had to go sing her song to her :(  God bless  caylee and my she get some justice that she very well deserves.

In an apparent victory for Casey Anthony's defense team, Judge Perry agreed today to let them talk to some of the Equusearch volunteers who search the closest to where Caylee Marie Anthony's body was eventually found.

I hope everyone who searched knows they are not required to talk to anyone from the DUHFENSE...and I hope they exercise that right.....anyone who talks to them puts them self in jeopardy of becoming a candidate for the next SODDI

If i was one of the searchers I'd have my numbers changed to unlisted or disconnect my phone service until after the trial. Then get a throw away phone for emergencies. I'd also like to Think I'd be entitled  be entitled to Bozo and the Jar's personal information.

After watching Tim's interview I went on over to the site and dug deep for a few $ to donate.  What a heart in that man and how very, very kind and just downright GOOD he is. Such a shame he had to be exposed to the evil incarnate of the CMA clan.  And an even bigger shame they are trying to wreck his entire organization.  I agree that if I had searched anywhere for Caylee I would change my phone numbers and be unavailable for comment.  Anyway, there is a download for TES membership on the site for $25 and I am strongly thinking of joining.....not that I could help with any physical searching but just to support this extremely wonderful man and his mission.  You go, Tim......many of our hearts go with you.

It appears that there is no statute of limitations in FL for perjury in a Capital Case, i.e. one like Casey's.  As to the other violations of crimina law, it depends on the class of felony.  I don't know what class fraud would fall under as well as tampering, obstructing, etc.

cnndixie, thanks that was so nice of you...times are hard for so many of us...  I felt the same way when I joined..the story of my first search is rather funny...me showing up in my little Polo shirt, make-up and designer jeans....LOL   ..but if you can't physically search you can do other things at the command post, registering searchers, checking them out, giving out water, etc...most times there will be family member there....sometimes they just need someone to hold their hand... Even though we are no longer in TX, I keep my membership up just in case there is a search near my area. and I am proud to be able to say I am a member of this organization.

I don't think it would ethical for MNJ, but I'd sure volunteer to do it. I remember reading and I am sorry I do not remember where, the original 32 persons identified as having searched in the area had been contacted by either TES or MNJ letting them know they were part of the 32. I would imagine at that time they were advised they didn't have to talk to them. But on the other hand....if they didn't I THINK BOZO would/could subpoena them....I will try to check that out for accuracy.

I'm with you, Babybear! These people need to know exactly what the defense is trying to do and what implications it would have for them! I WOULD WANT TO KNOW!!  I'm really worried about the impact on future search volunteers, too.

so am I...let's face it...the conditions are never great...and it's very emotional, or was for me....knowing that somewhere down the line you might be drug into court is daunting and that alone might make some people stay home.

This is Caylee's legacy, I believe....bringing people from all walks of life together, sharing, caring and showing love to/for each other. I am truly touched by your words.

The folks that would be at risk from another unscrupulous lawyer like Bobo are the volunteers that may be neighbors, friends, family. Those are the ones closest to the victim and the situation often times. It's a shame, the critical early days of any search need all the input and ideas and help it can get.
another family and lawyer like these will probably not happen again in the near future but it does open new precedent for nebulous blame, like blaming LE. That has become the defense de jour and now picking apart searchers, the team leaders, the organizers and their motives could make people apathetic.
The amount of innocent people this mess has claimed is vile.

I believe they are slowly building a fraud case on the donations. I believe that is why CA went back to all of a sudden saying she believes Caylee is alive. If they knew she was dead (which I believe will come out at trial) then everything they collected was FRAUD. The state does not have to be in any hurry.

One of the things to prove is a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts which will be easy in this case. Another element to prove in a fraud case is justifiable or actual reliance on the statements of the accused. (another slam dunk as everyone who donated relied on their statements that they were looking for an alive Caylee because they had people who had seen her)

There are huge REWARDS for exposing fraud against the State of Florida.
