How much she "liked" J Blanchard Park, "liked' to attempt to run around Lake Underhill(?), "liked" to walk the trail at Blanchard Park, and then she added "she loved that, oh yea"...Or how ZFG would often say how much she "loved" Caylee, and she "was" such a good kid, and a bunch of other ones...Why not say she "likes" the park, or "loves" the trail, or even ZFG "loves" Caylee??

And then all the inappropriate laughing in between... She had this entire 'kidnapping" theory completely worked out in her mind and didn't budge an inch!

All of the Anthonys used the past tense when referring to Caylee from the beginning. That is one reason I kept saying they KNEW she was dead.

I am not sure but I am assuming that each has their own! doesnt make sense to have two. it does make sense that if they are going to be charged they will be charged seperately. I mean cindy mail fraud is her to own and obstruction charges and lord knows what other charges! each will be in need of individual counseling. thats my opinion I dont know what others here infer. whats your take?

I am so confused with the newest attorneys filing notices in a case that their clients have nothing to do with just as you all are.  Did Lee's attorney file notice that he was representing Lee?  Did MN file that he was representing TES?  Did Dom's lawyer file a notice?  There are so many lawyers involved and I do not recall any of them having to file notice and their clients are no more involved then the Rosebud twins. OR are the Rosebud twins more involved than we know?  

Interesting that the one article stated these are the same two lawyers that represented them in the foreclosure and got their mortgage renegotiation based on future income.  Wonder if they are also getting paid based on future income.

I need to tell my hydro, phone and gas companies I will pay their bills based on future income and see how well that goes over.  Wait I am not an Anthony nor in Anthonyville so I guess It just won't work for me.

I just found the news on " Caylee's Shoe's being donated" ... sigh. Is there anything that Cindy will not do to create a  ::MonkeyEek:: ..  I am beside myself.  
The first thing that came to my mind was that Cindy was trying to redeem herself to the Hispanic community in Florida.  I found an article on the woman, Ms. Doris Patalano who runs " Children of Love Foundation Org" It is written in Spanish, I used the translator - was written in 2009.

On Tuesday, Cindy Anthony sent an e-mail to Local 6, announcing that she would be donating some of her granddaughter's belongings to the Children of Love Foundation.
"I will be attending this event on Saturday, donating some of Caylee's shoes. I think that this project is worth mentioning," Cindy Anthony wrote.
The organization's founder, Doris Patalano, said she was unaware of Anthony's donation until she began receiving harassing phone calls from protesters Wednesday morning.
Patalano, who was orphaned as a child, created the Children of Love Foundation with her husband nearly 20 years ago. The nonprofit organization provides food, clothing and mentoring to orphans in Honduras and Central Florida. Patalano also works at a pharmacy, where she said Cindy Anthony has been a long-time customer. The Children of Love Foundation is holding their annual shoe drive at that same pharmacy.

I was thinking either this Woman is being pursued and or has no clue what she was getting herself into by an Anthony... I guess it all " explains itself" that she was totally caught off guard. What I do not understand is Brad Conway? How did he suddenly come up with a Conscience?

He has been in the middle of all of everything with the antics of the Anthony's. Why Now? does he surrender " Waving the White Flag" .. so abruptly. I wonder if this has anything to do with Mark Nejame? Mark now representing TES.  Mark Nejame also representing the Ant's in the beginning..  Or did someone else " High Profile" offer Brad Conway a case he could not turn down? That he no longer wanted to be associated with a " Epic Fail" of the Anthony's circus.

Seems that anyone who represents Cindy / George or even Casey - eventually walks off ..
Mark Nejame though I think did it for his own reasons. He knew his reputation could very well be destroyed by Cindy/George. And they were not NOT worth it.  jmo.

He has his bio on several foreclosure sites.  Advertises his lawfirm as a "boutique firm"  Seems that is what both of them have been advertising/concentrating on is foreclosures.  The female lawyer has only been practicing for 4 years.  Rosebud is going to chew her up and spit her out before she can even say Chill recipe.  

I am not surprised that rather than seeing that everything she goes near turns to a big pile of steaming poo, Rosebud says that it is only because of HER that the shoe drive was mentioned by the media.  Well Rosebud, because of YOU other pharmacies are no longer holding the shoe drive.  Feel special yet in the twisted world of ugly coping Anthonyville?

Unfortunately, I have made the decision that it is best not to continue my representation of George and Cindy Anthony.
George and Cindy have a belief that their beloved granddaughter, Caylee, is still alive. Tips and leads continue to come in. I believe strongly that they should have every right to maintain their hope and faith that one of these "sightings" will miraculously be the one that brings Caylee home to them. What parent or grandparent would surrender such hope?
* Who is one person to tell another parent or grandparent when it is time for them to abandon their faith? When does a stranger have the right to judge another who has endured such a loss? The attacks made against them by some are deplorable.
*Let them be to do what they feel they must to find their beloved granddaughter, Caylee. Knowing this case as well as probably anyone on earth, there is no doubt that they do not know where Caylee is. Allow them to walk their own path.
I only agreed to represent George and Cindy Anthony, so long as there were no restrictions placed on me whatsoever as to finding Caylee, regardless of where this might lead. Quite simply, this meant that I could do whatever I needed to find Caylee whether she was alive or not. It impressed me that George and Cindy, both believing that Caylee was still with us, had an overriding and primary concern in finding Caylee, even if the result was not as they would hope. The other condition I required was that I would have absolutely nothing to do with representing Casey or assisting in her legal defense.
*Abundant efforts have been made towards finding Caylee. I have worked with so many involved in this matter towards the goal of finding this dear, missing child who has captured the hearts of so many. Some ignorant and judgmental members of the public though have made hateful and inaccurate accusations against me and others, when they had no idea whatsoever what was really going on. As my new, good friend, Tim Miller from Equusearch, tells me "everybody associated with this case gets body slammed." However, like Tim, when you know in your heart that you're doing the right thing, you just move forward knowing that right will ultimately win out. Some have falsely accused me and some others of being in this for the money. If they only knew how utterly wrong and misguided they are.
*I had come to a personal opinion and theory for quite some time whether Caylee was still with us or not. However, my opinion was only one like any other ... an opinion. The only person without an opinion though is Casey Anthony as only she knows the truth.
* I believe that the singular person out of the 6 billion people in the world who holds the key to finding Caylee is her mother, Casey Anthony. Although I was quite successful in resolving a multitude of matters, I am unable to go further to help George and Cindy find Caylee in my current role. I can only provide my best advice and must respect any client's prerogative to do what they deem is best, whether they choose to follow my guidance or not. However, there is little value or use I can provide to any client if they choose to act and comment at will. As someone who has learned and knows the inner workings and details of the case and its various characters intimately, the rampant sensationalism and unfounded accusations must stop. Allow Cindy and George Anthony the respect and decency of dealing with their hope and efforts to find their missing and beloved Caylee as they need to. Allow those with differing opinions on finding and searching for Caylee, whether she is with us or not, to do their jobs without interruption. Finally, the judicial system is in play and justice will be best served by mindless meddlers staying out of something they know little of. There are many wonderful people involved in efforts to find Caylee and there are, unfortunately, many who are exploiting this child. Sadly, most in the public are clueless about who is doing what and what is really going on. The negative actions of some are only counterproductive and hurtful to the cause of those many good people who are doing so much to do something positive with this most sad and tragic situation.

At issue, did search teams look in the woods near her house in August and find nothing, but then four months later remains were found in that same spot? If so, the defense argues, how would Casey have dumped her daughter's body there when she was under around-the-clock police surveillance? The search records that might best answer this question belong to Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer organization. Casey's defense team says it has not seen EquuSearch records. But her lawyer Jose Baez claims in a motion an attorney not related to defense of Casey Anthony was allowed to "view all 4,000 pages of documents," "making whatever conclusions he wanted" and "then allowing the state to do the same thing." That attorney was Brad Conway, Casey's parents' lawyer. If he got special treatment and did look at the search records, Brad Conway may have gone from Casey's parents' lawyer to witness for the defense. Complicating matters, two years ago when Caylee was first reported missing, attorney Mark NeJame represented George and Cindy Anthony. But they later dropped NeJame for Conway, and now NeJame represents Texas EquuSearch, which wants to protect its records. I don't believe for a Minute that " They Dropped Mark Nejame" Mr. Nejame got a good solid Whiff of this cast of players/GA/CA/CA/LA in 2008 and he did what was right - HE LEFT the ANTS. He represents TES/Tim Miller at present. Obviously TES allows him to represent them.
Makes everyone wonder with all of this that has been " concocted by Cindy and George" what this trial is about. Yes " Caylee" is the priority her Justice. Cindy and George have created so much Mud and Muck and continue to this day .. to make Mockery of Caylee's Life, her person .. I have no clue how these " Grandparents sleep at night" Do they? Or do they stay awake in separate rooms  " Plotting their next scheme" ....  :2brickwall: How to become a Millionaire off of our Dead Grandchild ..that our own daughter murdered.

Sad isn't it Loca .. seems to be standard operations for Cindy though .. Go with whoever is going to offer her the most " Controversy" Cindy loves the Limelight. She cannot stay away from it. I wonder how she is going to feel after Casey's trial? When she is sitting behind a desk with a Judge Staring at her .. as she has her little ankle crackers on.. will her hair be past her ribs by then ? will she address the camera's with eyes straight ahead adjusting her shirt? I have a feeling that Cindy wants to go to jail...so she can be with her Twin Casey.

Cindy has been the core " reason" of why this case has not been to trial yet.

She has created and stirred and plotted and schemed from July 2008.
Everything she has touched, everyone she has put herself into the middle of, all of everything has her name attached - along with Casey (yet Casey has been behind bars). Then add George.  If they allow more investigation from this day forward with New developments - this case will never come to a trial. It will be again pushed off the docket to 2012.  

The more time that progresses the more Cindy comes into play. It almost makes ONE wonder if Cindy was involved in Caylee's murder.  That she is just a damn good actress.  
Who taught Casey her tricks of trade? Who did Casey want to impress? Who did Casey feel she never could be like? Always points back to Cindy. Cindy though is a Martyr. She failed Caylee. She knew that Caylee was being carted around, dragged around by Casey at all times.. when Caylee was 2 years old. She knew that Casey was a lying thief and was abusive verbally ( to both Cindy/George) what did she say or do to Caylee?  
Caylee was very smart and verbal - she could have been talking while playing .. repeating words or actions. That were of Casey or her friends .. Did Cindy ever listen? Did Casey pay attention? Caylee was living in a bubble and only knew what happened or what was displayed in the Ant house. Or what ever guys house or Frat Party Casey dragged her to. Was not like Caylee was in preschool or allowed to have peers her own age.

Caylee reading out loud to herself, entertaining herself, she knows this book. It has been read to her many times. She is repeating not the words but the emotions from the " pictures" she knows the emotions of it in memory - Notice her body language while going through the pages " she finger points and wags her finger"  and almost sounds like she is repeating words of scolding .. does she say Eat More and then she squeals Noooo Cookies.. she says Mama Papa and and ? Caylee knows this book that is for sure.

Caylee Singing without being put on the spot or in the arms of her Great Grandpa - She sings it clear and proud. Some of the notes she hits with her voice ( she sounds almost sage like a yesteryear jazz singer) I don't feel that she knows she is on camera, until Cindy talks to her.  She then becomes shy and tries to hide under the table cloth. Notice though Caylee has empathy for her Papa .. She see's he is Tired. That is why she asks him " ARE you Tired Papa?" She knows he is tired and expresses it out loud, she has concern for him.

Caylee on her Great Grandfather's lap - She to me looks very uncomfortable.
She doesn't quite know what to do. She Caylee said it herself - You're Tired Papa. Cindy I am sure dropped her into her Father's lap on purpose. Caylee's eyes darting and looking all around. I don't think she feared him, I think she was scared though because she knew he was not well.  She though was told to perform/sing by Cindy. Caylee was unsure .. her body in the fetal position was her showing how she felt .. I am uncomfortable. She didn't dare move, thinking she would make him more tired ( Caylee seeing him unhealthy him being Tired)
If she was standing next to him, she more than likely would have belted out her song and did a little dance. Her being put literally on his lap was too much for little Caylee to absorb. He was in a hospital like setting ( I am sure she/Caylee heard Cindy talking to her Mother and Papa's Nurses, expressing that he was not well) once she was put into his lap ..I think that Caylee thought, it was not a good idea for her to be sitting on his lap :(  It confused her so.

Caylee a little one to be so insightful not yet 3, makes me wonder truly what she expressed through role playing with her toys or her books in front of George or Cindy ..that would have shown them what Caylee was experiencing with Casey " outside the house late at night" being dragged around .. or the opposite what Casey witnessed of Caylee's person turning into Cindy who she spent most of her time with " Casey's Nemesis" ..that made Casey hate Caylee even more in a nefarious way.  All of the Ants are twisted in the nugget.

Re filing a Notice of Appearance for a witness: Normally, witnesses don't have attorneys representing them. Ordinary auto accident eyewitnesses or armed robbery eyewitnesses simply testify without needing to be represented by an attorney.

However, a witness CAN BE represented by an attorney. In particular, if the witness is concerned about their own civil/criminal liability, or if the witness was in the course and scope of their employment and their employer has an in-house attorney, then it is more common to see attorneys representing witnesses. For example, in a civil sexual harassment case, if there are co-workers who might have observed sexual harassment occurring but failed to report it, those co-workers might be represented by an attorney (probably paid for by the employer) at their depositions.

Attorneys for the parties can directly contact the witnesses UNLESS those witnesses are represented by an attorney in which all communications must go through the witnesses' attorneys. Additionally, in high profile cases, being represented by an attorney allows the witness to simply direct all media inquiries to the witness' attorney who doubles as a spokesperson like Brad Conway did for the Anthonys.

A witness' attorney who wants to make sure that the whole world is on notice that the witness is officially represented by that attorney can file a Notice of Appearance with the court. Legal ethics prohibit any attorney from intentionally contacting a person formally represented by an attorney without the person's attorney's permission, and doing so could result in disciplinary sanctions by the state bar. However, a Notice of Appearance is not legally required; the attorney can simply state their appearance on the record at any deposition/court hearing/trial that their client testifies at and/or can instruct the witness to inform anyone who contacts them that they are represented by attorney *so-and-so* whose telephone number is *whatever.*

Re attorneys from the same firm: A single attorney, or a single law firm, can represent both Cindy and George. There is a vague "potential" for conflict of interests if one accuses the other of murdering Caylee, or if they get a divorce, or if they have some dispute concerning Caylee's estate. Since there is no present conflict of interests, they can be represented by the same attorney/firm.

It is very common for different attorneys in the same firm to work on a single case. Most commonly, the client is impressed by the firm's experienced rainmaker and then the file is handed off to a junior partner or even an experienced paralegal for the drudgery work. Sometimes attorneys with special expertise (appellate, law and motion, litigation, etc.) are brought in. Sometimes if one attorney is making an appearance on his case down at the courthouse, he will make appearances on all of the firm's other cases being heard that morning at the same courthouse.

It is less common for two attorneys from the same firm to show up. Obviously this is more costly for the firm and for the client. Casey Anthony's parents have hired a new team of lawyers.

George and Cindy Anthony, are now being represented by Mark Lippman and Jennifer Craddock.

Their old lawyer, Brad Conway, stepped down a few weeks ago. The Anthony's are scheduled to be back in court for a hearing int he murder trial on Monday.

The slain toddler's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, told clickorlando.com in an email that she would donate Caylee's shoes during a shoe drive to benefit the Children of Love Foundation, which helps orphans in Honduras and Central Florida.

Her offer triggered calls from people who hate the Anthonys

The founder of the nonprofit says it has no association with the Anthonys.
Cindy's daughter, Casey Anthony, is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter in 2008.

George and Cindy Anthony: They’re not the easiest clients in the world, as anyone who has followed the Casey Anthony saga can attest. Shutting up just isn’t the Anthonys’ style.

Casey’s parents have new attorneys: Mark Lippman and Jennifer Craddock of the Lippman Law Offices. Lippman represented the Anthonys in their home foreclosure.

WFTV-Ch. 9’s legal analyst Bill Sheaffer last night summed up the challenge for the new attorneys: “They must get their clients under control. They must get their clients to listen to their advice. As we have seen thus far, there hasn’t been a lawyer who’s been successful in doing that.”

Mark NeJame bowed out as the couple’s attorney, saying they wouldn’t listen to his counsel. Last week on “Today,” Brad Conway told a national audience that he could no longer represent the couple because of a legal dispute between Casey’s defense team and Texas EquuSearch.

So far, George and Cindy Anthony’s legal representation has been a distraction. As WFTV’s Sheaffer explained, it doesn’t matter who represents the couple because they are simply witnesses in their daughter’s case. Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Yet where George and Cindy Anthony go, controversy follows. Cindy Anthony’s announcement this week that she planned to give away granddaughter Caylee’s shoes to a charity set off a furor — for the charity.

WKMG-Ch. 6 anchor Erick Weber this morning noted that the Children of Love Foundation has helped needy children in Central America for nearly 20 years.
The group’s organizer works at a pharmacy. That’s where she gave Cindy Anthony a flier about their annual shoe drive,” Weber said. “She [Cindy] told Local 6 she’s donating Caylee’s shoes. Since then, protesters have placed some harassing calls to the pharmacy there.”

The organizer said she knows that Cindy Anthony didn’t mean any harm, Weber added, but several pharmacies have pulled out of the shoe drive.

WFTV last night summed up the latest developments in the Casey Anthony saga: There will be a status hearing on Monday, which Anthony is not required to attend; her murder trial is scheduled for May; and the trial over Zenaida Gonzalez’s defamation suit against Casey will start later next summer.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Central Florida charitable group said it fears its organization will be hurt because of a donation made by Casey Anthony's mother.

On Tuesday, Cindy Anthony sent an e-mail to Local 6, announcing that she would be donating some of her granddaughter's belongings to the Children of Love Foundation.

"I will be attending this event on Saturday, donating some of Caylee's shoes. I think that this project is worth mentioning," Cindy Anthony wrote.

The organization's founder, Doris Patalano, said she was unaware of Anthony's donation until she began receiving harassing phone calls from protesters Wednesday morning.

Patalano, who was orphaned as a child, created the Children of Love Foundation with her husband nearly 20 years ago. The nonprofit organization provides food, clothing and mentoring to orphans in Honduras and Central Florida.

Patalano also works at a pharmacy, where she said Cindy Anthony has been a long-time customer. The Children of Love Foundation is holding its annual shoe drive at the same pharmacy.

Patalano recently began passing out fliers to her customers, including Anthony, to inform them of the shoe drive.
According to Patalano, Anthony offered to share the flier with local media outlets. Patalano assumed the media might mention the shoe drive as part of a "public service announcement." She said she did not know Anthony was planning to donate her granddaughter's shoes and share the information with the media.

By Wednesday morning, Patalano said she was being bombarded with phone calls at home and at work from protesters, whom she described as "hateful." Patalano fears the controversy could jeopardize her 20-year career at the pharmacy. She also said several other pharmacies have decided not to host similar shoe drives as a result of the negative publicity, which means fewer donations for the orphans.

Patalano wants the public to understand her organization has no association with the Anthony family. She does not believe Cindy Anthony meant to cause trouble, and offers her prayers to the family. However, Patalano insisted that she has never sought publicity for her charity work.

In an e-mail sent to Local 6 on Wednesday, Cindy Anthony responded to the controversy, saying, "Hopefully everyone will be respectful to what this event is all about. It's not about my family. It's about doing a good thing for others. My goal is to help this foundation collect shoes for the orphans in Honduras. Unfortunately, the media would not have normally covered this event had it not been for my involvement."

So Cindy didn't mean to harm the organization?  Well, that's probably true because she never gives a thought to what might result from her ill-advised actions. Will she ever understand that no one wants to be associated with her and her "I thought it worth mentioning?"  No one cares what she thinks except to suspect her motives--and IMO rightfully so. Experience has taught us that--in spades.

Cindy is like a bulldozer.  In her insatiable quest for personal publicity, she doesn't notice the wrecked lives and organizations she leaves behind. Everyone in Orlando and most of the civilized world must know by now that to even remotely connect Cindy Anthony to any charitable endeavor means sudden death for that charity.  I think the woman in the pharmacy just gave Cindy a flier like she did every customer who came in and Cindy saw a chance to get her name in front of the public again without regard to the consequences and ran with it.  We have seen her act without thinking many times.  This is just another example, but unfortunately this time she has hurt a lot of people, basically children who need help.  As someone else said, how could any child be "Less fortunate" than Caylee?  Her mother murdered her.

I sure would like to know if Cindy sent a copy of the flier in her email.  This should tell this woman/organization and all organizations out there that THIS IS WHAT THE ANTHONYS ARE ALL ABOUT.  It's not about helping these organizations, it's only and always will be about helping the Anthonys. If they can't benefit, they aren't interested.  This was all about Cindy.....she had to know what the outpour would be.....is this just another way of saying, "See, the public hates us, Casey will never be able to get a fair trial."?  Maybe, but I don't see where the two intertwine.....the Anthonys are only witnesses.

As if her mentioning it would make it SPECIAL. Lol my email to them was truly nice. I made sure I didnt sound bitter ! just a concerned grandmother. I merely pointed out to them that I was concerned that cindys intentions were not honorable and I was concerned for the organization , being as cindy had taken it upon herself to  contact the media for her own benefit. I encouraged them to research her performances past and present. And I told them I would go a step further and  include  youtube tapes that would support ! what I am saying to be true. I   told them my intent was not to create problems but rather to avoid any problems that they may get as a result of being associated with her.  I am going to send them a check so that they can buy shoes for the needy children. Sneed hears rumbles Blago's attorney Sam Adam Jr. may not represent Blago in the next go-round

Where does she hear these rumbles? Maybe her inside source was the TV, on which Adam and his father plainly ducked the question of their future involvement with the Blagojevich case during the news scrum yesterday afternoon in the lobby of the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse. Or maybe she heard these rumbles later when SA Jr. appeared on "Chicago Tonight" and refused to commit to representing Blagojevich in his second trial.
In any case, the point is, these "rumbles" make a lot of sense. Team Adam probably can't afford to spend thousands more billable hours at public-defender rates, and probably isn't really interested in going through Blagojevich Part Deux. He's made his splash, impressed us with his passion and eloquence and, in hanging the jury on nearly every count, did way better than most predicted he would.

It's likely to go worse for him the second time around, as the jury was perilously close to conviction on several counts and, from what we know so far, not close to acquittal on any of the counts. Government prosecutors will patch up some of the holes in their case in some jurors' minds and come back stronger.

It makes a lot of sense for SAJr. to  move on with his head held high and take advantage of the "If I'm ever in legal trouble I want to hire that guy" sentiment he's sparked.

There's a lot I don't know about when and how a defendant goes the public-defender route: Does someone with empty bank accounts and massive credit card debt yet a condo in Washington D.C. and a closet full of expensive, bespoke suits qualify for a free defense lawyer? Does he get to keep sending his kids to private school while we pay for his mouthpiece?

I would say that Zorn hears rumbles that professors from local law schools will rise to serve on Blagojevich's defense team in the second round -- Andrea Lyon of DePaul University's law school served on the George Ryan team -- but, honestly, those rumbles are just notions rattling around in my head.

The finding is significant because there are about 100,000 preventable human errors made in American hospitals each year. That number was first reported in a 1999 Institute of Medicine report called To Err Is Human. Most experts concede the number has not gone down significantly in the 11 years since.

“When perfection doesn't happen and something goes wrong, the way that people handle it makes all the difference in the world,” said Linda Kenney. She nearly died from a medical error in 1999, the same month the Institute of Medicine report was released.

“I almost died, and there was just no emotional support for myself, or the clinicians involved who were equally as devastated,” said Kenney.

She said there are four things most patients want when an error has been made: to be told the truth, an acknowledgment of what happened, to know what the hospital will do about it, and ongoing support.

“If you're up front and human about it I think the patient will still have feelings, but they'll get through it a lot easier. Most people are angry and they just want to be heard,” she said.

Several years after her trauma, she founded a nonprofit support group to patients and caregivers who have experienced adverse outcomes. Medical Induced Trauma Support Services helps patients around the country.

She said that while much progress has been made, there are still too many people being harmed.

“I just know that there are really committed people trying to change the systems and make them safe for everyone,” said Kenney.

“There's no question it's absolutely the right thing to do with regard to what patients want, what our ethics support … and our study helps show that it doesn't have to harm your bottom line at the same time,” said Kachalia.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony recently got a jailhouse visit from an attorney renowned for her cross-examination of medical experts, jail records show.
Ocala attorney Dorothy Clay Sims visited Anthony in jail on July 30 for about an hour and a half.

Orlando criminal defense attorney Richard Hornsby said Sims is well known for her grasp of issues related to medical expert testimony, which could be a valuable asset to Anthony’s defense team.

“If there are any holes in the autopsy, holes in the evidence, she will expose them,” Hornsby said.

Anthony remains in jail charged with the murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

In that subpoena, Tony Lazarro said the defense is asking for his cell phone records from January 2009 to the present.

Former Casey Anthony  boyfriend Anthony Lazzaro filed a motion in court Thursday trying to block a subpoena for his phone records from January 2009 to the present.

The motion to quash, filed by Lazzaro attorney William Jay, states Lazzaro received a copy of a subpoena without deposition for phone records from January 2009 to the present.

An earlier ruling in the case held that this time frame was "not permitted to be the subject of a subpoena," according to the motion. The timeframe permitted by the court ran from June 1, 2008, through Dec. 18, 2008, the filing states.

"Therefore, Anthony Lazzaro is requesting the court to enter an order quashing this subpoena," the motion states.
n another filing Thursday, Casey Anthony's defense team filed a notice of taking depositions for Sept. 3. The notice lists 18 law-enforcement officials scheduled for deposition from 9 a.m. to noon that day.

The notice lists another 17 law-enforcement officials to be deposed between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. that day.

The officials to be deposed are employees of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Metropolitan Bureau of Investigations, the Office of Inspector General, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the U.S. Secret Service and Orlando police.

Casey Anthony, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old child Caylee Marie. The child's remains were found in late 2008, months after she was reported missing by her family.

That’s a horrifying thought, but consider the latest TV reports in the Casey Anthony saga.

Cindy Anthony’s offer to donate granddaughter Caylee’s shoes to the Children of Love Foundation has sparked a furor against the charity, WFTV-Ch. 9 explained tonight.

The charity’s founder, Doris Patalano, ”was in tears over this today,” WFTV’s Kathi Belich reported.  “She wouldn’t talk to us on camera.”

Callers are threatening to protest the charity’s shoe drive this weekend, Belich reported. But the charity has a partner in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo and has a long record of helping children in Central and South America.

Patalano ”said Cindy offered to help with the shoe drive Saturday but never mentioned donating Caylee’s shoes,” Belich added.

Cindy announced her decision to donate the shoes in an e-mail to WKMG-Ch. 6.

Any bad publicity for a charity can be devastating news in hard times, and Belich illustrated that point by talking to the House of Hope, which can’t make its next payroll.

Cindy Anthony’s new lawyers told Belich they were preparing a news release about the issue.

Cindy’s daughter, Casey Anthony, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Caylee.

We just packed a large box of kids shoes. I think they counted 54 pairs and they will go out Fed Ex tomorrow but they won't make it before their Saturday collection but they should have them Monday. I hope this makes up for anything that witch might have done. Interesting that we had a collection box at church already almost full when I went there today to see what we might send. 

Well it seems to me that maybe team Bobo are doing this knowing that no way will the PD allow this many of their members to be doing nothing other than waiting for depos.  Can you imagine the nightmare to schedule shifts if they are all out of the same area? I think it is because they are under the gun now to get these depositions done since they have wasted 2 years and the judge is not going to allow them to keep this BS up. They scheduled them all and intend to cancel many of them like they have so many of the others.

It was so interesting how it all came about. Some of the ladies at our church had collected them for a homeless shelter in our town and another charity had generously given them much more than needed, so the lady in charge just put the ones they collected in a sealed plastic container and thought she would hold them until the homeless shelter needed some more.

When I went there today about something else, I mentioned a charity which needed shoes, and she took me straight to them and asked if I thought they might be able to use them. Within an hour we had them packed in a couple of large boxes and ready to go as soon as I could get the address off my computer. They will go out tomorrow. It was too expensive to send them overnight, but I am sure Monday will be fine for their purpose.

I wrote a note and put a copy of the email I sent last night to them as I said in it that I would try to see they got some shoes for their mission. I also gave SM credit for making me aware of the situation and put the web site address in case they want to get more information.

Okay, I guess I missed the brass ring somewhere as I have no idea how she relates to this case. Can someone fill me in?

Caylee shoe donation raises eyebrows (with video)

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - For 17 years, the Children of Love Foundation has been helping to feed and clothe children in Central Florida and Central America.

Founder, Doris Patalano tells FOX 35 that over the past two days, she has received about a dozen hateful phone calls and emails regarding Cindy Anthony. Anthony announced on Wednesday that she will be donating her granddaughter's shoes to the charity at an event this Saturday.

Cindy's granddaughter, Caylee Marie, was murdered back in 2008. Cindy's daughter and Caylee's mother, Casey, is accused of the crime.  Anthony has pleaded not guilty to a first-degree murder charge and has said a baby sitter kidnapped her daughter, Caylee. The toddler's remains were found in December 2008, about six months after the mother said she last saw her alive. Anthony's trial is scheduled to start next May.

The founder of the nonprofit organization recently gave Cindy a flier about the shoe drive Saturday, which will be at an East Orange County Walgreens. Doris Patalano said random people have told her to stay away from the infamous Anthony family, and in one case, Patalono even received a threatening to protest her shoe drive.

The Children of Love Foundation has helped thousands of children. What the founder does want the public to know is that it should not matter who wants to donate shoes, clothing or money. She said that what does matter is how many children will get the help they need.

FOX 35 spoke to Cindy Anthony Thursday evening by phone. She said she was just trying to, "do a good thing." She said it's partly therapeutic for her to begin donating Caylee's shoes and clothes, but more importantly, she said this weekend's shoe drive is not about her, Caylee or Casey, but about helping children in need.

Woman Says Casey Case Leading To Threats (With Video)

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A woman who runs a charity to give shoes to poor orphans told WFTV she's getting threats because of the case against Casey Anthony. The threats came after word got out that Cindy Anthony was going to donate Caylee's old shoes to the charity.

The woman who runs the charity didn't want anything to do with the case. She doesn't want anything to do with publicity either, good or bad. She was in tears Thursday over it and it all started over little girls' shoes.

A report that Cindy was going to donate her granddaughter Caylee's shoes to the Children of Love Foundation, which donates food and clothing to orphans in Central Florida and in Honduras, has sparked outrage.

The founder of the foundation, Doris Patalano, who grew up an orphan in Honduras, often going barefoot, is getting calls from people threatening to protest her "Operation Barefoot" shoe drive on Friday and Saturday at the Walgreen's where she works.

Doris wouldn't talk to WFTV on camera, but said she's known Cindy since before Caylee was murdered. She said Cindy offered to help with the shoe drive on Saturday, but never mentioned donating Caylee's shoes.

Doris does not believe Cindy meant to hurt the effort, but she might have at a time when charities are having a difficult time raising money.

Thursday, employees of the House of Hope in Orlando, a well-established and well-known charity, found out some of them might not get paychecks.

"It is so tough out there to raise funds. I was just talking to our staff; we don't have enough money to make our next payroll," House of Hope Founder Sara Trollinger said.

Trollinger said, in today's economy, negative publicity has done some ministries in.

"I understand about 50% have closed down, some from bad reports," she said.

Doris is worried about how the negative publicity is going to affect her shoe drive. WFTV asked Cindy Anthony's new lawyers about all of it Thursday; they wouldn't talk on camera but said they are preparing a news release.


WHAT'S NEXT IN THE CASE?

On Monday, there's a status hearing in the case, but Casey is not required to be there.

WFTV is also waiting on more discovery to be released. The documents should include phone records from witnesses and recordings of phone calls made by one of Casey's jail pen pals, Robyn Adams.

By looking at the video in the last link the kids range from very small to teens.  I would guess they need all sizes.  My daughter wore a womans size 8 at age 12 so I think all sizes of shoes would be appreciated.

ORLANDO - The decision by the grandmother of murdered Orlando toddler Caylee Anthony to donate her granddaughter's shoes to charity sparked the ire of some nearby residents, MyFOXorlando.com reported late Thursday.

Cindy Anthony, whose daughter Casey Anthony has been charged with the murder, announced her plans to donate Caylee's shoes to the Children of Love Foundation, a charity that aims to feed and clothe needy children in central Florida and Central America.
The 17-year-old organization was quickly inundated with hateful phone calls and e-mails slamming the donation, according to founder Doris Patalano.

Patalano, who did not want to be directly quoted, said strangers warned her to stay away from the Anthony family to avoid getting dragged into the media circus that has surrounded them since Caylee's 2008 disappearance. Others even threatened to protest Saturday's shoe drive.

Cindy Anthony said she was just trying to "do a good thing" and that she hoped donating some of Caylee's belongings would help her heal. She added that the drive should be about helping the most children, not about her or anyone else in the Anthony family.

Casey Anthony pleaded not guilty to first degree murder and maintains Caylee was kidnapped and murdered by a babysitter. Her trial is scheduled to start next May.

Go ahead and give away Caylee's things, she wasn't around very long anyway, but Casey's stuff, I don't see anything going out the door of hers! Besides, she's probably planning on ebaying them closer to the trial!

I do not see how getting rid of Caylee's belongings could be "theraputic"  in any way, shape, or form.  I wouldn't be able to part with anything of little Caylee's.  I just couldn't do it.  Caylee deserves to be remembered.

Everyone who has been forced to hire legal representation in this case to defend themselves against the Defense's attack strategy, should file suit against the Anthonys after this trial is over.  They need to be re-imbursed, imo.  I would be so frosted!

Mornin' Sunny!  It's the same with everything Baez doesn't do.....only thing I can think is that he is not going to do anything unless he has gotten everything he has asked for.  Didn't get access to ALL TES records, don't go.....or they can't see ALL records, leave.  The want ALL phone records for TL, no deposition until they get them.  For the life of me, I can't figure out how the defense thinks they can pin this on TL in anyway, so why all current phone records?  So inappropriate.

If it means a step towards publicly admitting that Caylee is deceased, I say go for it.  I've known many who had a hard time parting with a loved ones clothing after they passed. In time they do, to help let go.  They just don't go to the media with that info.

That's normal & healthy in a situation when a relative passes away from natural causes or perhaps an accident, but circumstances alter cases and in this situation where Caylee's life was brutally stolen from her, I simply would have to hold onto everything of hers that I had. 

'Morning Monks---I personally don't care if Cindy ever "Heals."  I know to a certainly that Caylee isn't going to heal.  No matter what Cindy says about this, the point of her even getting involved was to get the media attention she so desperately craves.  She knows Caylee is dead.  After all she ISa "Nurse of Decomposition. IMO  In fact, I think that Cindy knew about Caylee being dead shortly after the last 911 call.  That's when she started her clumsy cover-up. I believe that George found out about Caylee being dead on June 24th when he opened the trunk of Casey's car.  He likely didn't tell Cindy.  After all, he tried to tell her Casey didn't have a job and Cindy blew her stack.  He surely didn't want to face Cindy's wrath again.  Better to just keep his mouth closed.  Maybe no one would find out about it. Maybe he could continue to ride on the gravy train.

They had her little bones cremated and held a very odd "Memorial service."  Do you do that for a living person?  Of course not.  Me-morial service it was, too; Me Me Me! I believe they all wore bits and pieces of Caylee in their jewelry and even placed some of the ashes in that bear which was so prominently displayed. Did they have a stranger cremated?  Were they wearing parts of a stranger's ashes? Of course not.  Just more fun and games to Cindy.

This isn't about grieving or anything else which concerns Caylee.  This is just to garner more sympathy from gullible fools in the hope they will send money.

If Cindy really wanted to help this charity, she would not have announced her "Second coming" appearance to the press, she would have quietly given the shoes and quietly helped out.  This woman is all about Me, Me, Me. Gimme some money.

I can't tell just who it was who founded the Children of Hope.  The article names Ms. Patalano and another names a Ms. Trollinger.  Maybe Patalano founded the FL branch.  In any case, I hope their drive is successful despite Cindy Anthony's trying to shove her way in.

And a good question it is, too, Mission. Cindy needs to give away Casey's things.  She won't be coming home either.

There is a candlelight vigil being held in Leesburg tonight for Trenton Duckett......will Cindy make an appearance?  It is another shot for her to be in the media.......

EDITORIAL: Charity Organization Bombarded by Uncharitable People

Doris Patalano nearly 20 years ago started an orphanage to benefit children in South Florida and Honduras, Central America. Her most recent contribution was to organize a clothing drive for those children; but it has turned into a nightmare, despite the good intentions of those mixed up in the controversy. (Original story at end of article below.)

This has to be one of the saddest examples of human judgment that I have witnessed in recent months. A well intentioned grandmother, trying to do the right thing and donate useful items for the drive, decided she may be able to help promote the clothing drive, and placed a call to her local news station about her participation. What she had hoped would result in an outpouring of sympathy for those children in need, turned into a backlash of hatred, and businesses withdrawing from participation in the clothing drive left and right.

Now, any one of us can go to our kids or grand-kids room, pick out clothes they are no longer using, box them up and donate them to a charity of our choice, no questions asked. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the grandmother of a child who died tragically, who wanted at least one good thing to come from past horrible events. I am referring to the out of control controversy surrounding the donation of “Caylee’s shoes” to charity.
People are outraged that Cindy Anthony, grandmother to the murdered toddler, Caylee Anthony, is donating the child’s shoes to those less fortunate! Now, just what do they expect to have happen to this precious little girl’s shoes? Have them kept on a pedestal? Enshrined in a museum? Put up for the highest bidder on Ebay? Ridiculous!

Wouldn’t it be better to know that her shoes are on the feet of some small child, who hopefully will out grow them, and pass them on to another little girl, and so on, until eventually, the shoes are completely worn out? I think of how many barefoot children I see daily here in Honduras, and how it would light up their world to receive a pair of shoes just their size! Maybe that child could then walk a little further, participate in an event they wouldn’t have been able to before, or at least be protected from stepping on any number of harmful items as they make their way to school.

I sincerely hope that those who have protested this event, take a good look at themselves, and see that they have made an extreme error in judgment – that they put aside their misguided anger, and help to correct a situation that never should have gotten so out of hand. Am I alone on this thought? Someone please enlighten me as to what good can come from boycotting this clothing drive…?

Cindy Anthony, the maternal grandmother of Caylee Anthony whose 2008 disappearance and subsequent murder made national headlines, has stirred up a hornet’s nest by offering to donate Caylee’s clothes to charity.

Now the charity in question is denying any connection at all to the Anthony family.

Cindy Anthony, whose daughter Casey is currently awaiting trial for Caylee’s murder, sent an email Tuesday to CBS affiliate WKMG announcing her intention to donate Caylee’s shoes to the Children of Love Foundation.

But the charity, which benefits orphans in Honduras and central Florida, says they never asked for her help.

Doris Patalano, the founder of Children of Love, says that she had no idea of Cindy Anthony’s intentions until she began being bombarded with “hateful,” threatening phone calls from protesters Wednesday morning, according to WKMG.

Patalano says she wants the public to understand her organization has no association with the Anthony family and that she never sought publicity from Cindy Anthony.

Patalano, who herself is an orphan, started the charity nearly 20 years ago to provide orphans in Honduras and central Florida with food, clothing and mentoring, but says she now fears that not only has this controversy endangered her charity as well as her livelihood.

That’s because Patalano had been passing out fliers to her customers at the pharmacy where she has worked for 20 years, including to Cindy Anthony, a long-time customer. Patalano says she had planned to hold the shoe drive at the same pharmacy and that other pharmacies were going to do the same thing.

But now, because of the backlash, the other pharmacies have pulled out, Patalano told the station.

Cindy Anthony responded to the controversy in an e-mail to WKMG saying, “Hopefully everyone will be respectful to what this event is all about. It’s not about my family. It’s about doing a good thing for others. My goal is to help this foundation collect shoes for the orphans in Honduras. Unfortunately, the media would not have normally covered this event had it not been for my involvement.”

Cindy Anthony’s daughter Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and has claimed a baby sitter kidnapped her daughter, Caylee. The toddler’s remains were found about six months after the mother said she last saw her alive.

This article in incorrect.  The uproar was not because a "Well-intentioned grandmother" wanted to donate some shoes.  It was caused by  Cindy sending out her press release to channel 6 announcing a personal appearance, because she thought it "Worth mentioning."   She is not a celebrity.  IMO She is the mother of a murderess. She is a Pariah. This murderess murdered Cindy's granddaughter.  I was going to send a check but I've changed my mind after reading this. They have Cindy Anthony to thank for this, and it looks like they just did.

I don't know anything about this charity except what I've read here and the links to various articles, but who is on the payroll that they can't meet?  I'm not implying anything, I'd just like to know how many people are paid employees before I send anything.

I don't know if you read my first posts, when this cage opened about the foundation. They state as a missionary they primarily focus on children ages 12 on up -- so why would Cindy want to donate toddler or baby shoes? ( not that they would not find a child to fit the shoes) but seems strange to me. I can only hope that more people like you step up and aid Ms. Doris through this mess - created by Cindy Anthony. If I had shoes to donate I certainly would.

The Lippman Law Offices, which recently helped the Anthonys save their home from foreclosure, took over the couple’s representation after Brad Conway stepped down. Conway had replaced Mark NeJame, who complained that the couple wouldn’t follow his advice.

George and Cindy Anthony are the parents of Casey Anthony, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. George and Cindy have demonstrated a bewildering tendency to keep popping up on national programs.

WFTV’s short report on the attorneys was a follow-up on Cindy’s announcement that she planned to donate Caylee’s shoes to a charity. But that news surprised and stunned the charity’s founder. Cindy’s offer resulted in threats and negative publicity for the charity.

The Lippman Law Offices issued a release today saying that “excessive exposure in the news media adds undue burdens on the court.” The law firm said it will not engage in speculation or offer opinions.

Thanks for those sites, loca.  I saw that Nancy Grace show when She Who Must Be Obeyed called in, but I had forgotten how delusional she was, even then.  She is still living on another planet.  The Planet of Decomposition.

On the second one, the Joy Wray one, if those children hadn't seen their mother for five weeks, I wonder why they seemed more interested in that video equipment or two way mirror or whatever it was than they were in her.  In fact, those two little ones seem to have some mental problem.  Not surprising though, considering Joy Wray.  It is sad when children are taken away from their mother.  Some foster homes are really great but some are so bad.  I know a woman who takes in foster children and she is so kind and loving with them, but I have heard of other terrible experiences. But I don't think Joy Wray is capable of taking care of them.

I don't know if Joy Wray is still the star witness for Baez, but if she is, Casey is in more trouble than I thought.

Thank you but the credit is not mine but God's. It was a divine appointment I was even at the church. Someone called and asked for some papers I had prepared for a youth group and the only time and day they could pick them up was Thursday afternoon. While I was waiting for him was when I started talking to the lady who did the clothes and shoes drive for the homeless shelter. Somehow our conversation turned to a ministry in Orlando which provided shoes for kids and the rest is history.

August 19, 2010 - that video is creepy on a number of levels. It looks like her and whomever the other older kid is are doing nothing but playing to that camera. Who are they trying to impress?  I would want to hold my children not have them dance in front of a camera. I am not surprised that DCS has her children after reading her posts on that board and watching her stay online for hours at a time. When did she take care of her children? Those are small kids who need full attention and I have watched her post on that board she had for hours non stop.

Her attention span for subjects was that of a gnat, so I can imagine how little attention those kids received.

They are cute kids, and I sure hope they are put in an appropriate home. 

Another "someone in the office" mistake?  How much is this judge going to tolerate.
He thought AT&T would send that info without checking to see if a judge signed the subpoena which is another instance of his abuse of his license. Something needs to be done about all these crooked things he is doing. 

In other words............We are not playing in Cindy's BS and will not condone her actions.

I  think it was more than ovious to aT&t  and Tonys attorney that baez is lying. Your right how much will he continue to do before he is disbarred. I went back and read his entry to the florida bar and he was chastised for his  lack of respect for  laws  not verbatim but close enough. He continues to do as he wants. Its got to end somewhere he is an official of the court for gods sake.

It looks like she was visisting the kids or something because I noticed the room was an office type setting.  I hope they good into a good foster home god knows  so many kids shifted to and fro with no  stability. It is downright sad to me.
