Frozen Vegetables Recall: Here's What You Need to Know (Full Recall List)
October 18, 2010

CBS/AP) If you buy frozen vegetables from Walmart or Kroger, check your freezer.

The Pictsweet Company has recalled 24,000 pounds of frozen peas, carrots, and mixed vegetables after learning that some packages may contain fragments of broken glass.

The Bells, Tenn. company said in a press release that only those Kroger stores in Southwest sold the potentially contaminated packages. But the recall affects Walmart stores nationwide, according to the release.

How can you tell if you might have veggies affected by the recall? Look for the "Great Value" and "Kroger" brands, then check for the following "best by" dates or codes:

    *

Great Value 12-ounce Steamable Sweet Peas with "best by" dates of July 20, 2012, and July 21, 2012
    *

Great Value 12-ounce Steamable Mixed Vegetables with a "best by" date of July 15, 2012
    *

      Kroger 12-ounce Green Peas with production codes 1440BU, 1440BV, 1440BW, and 1600BD
    *

Kroger 12-ounce Peas and Carrots with production codes 1960BD and 1960BE

If you find offending vegetables in your fridge, Pictsweet says you can return them for a refund.
