The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the clip on the chest harness of the Chinese-made car seats can break loose and pose a risk of cuts or a choking hazard. The Charlotte, N.C.-based Britax Child Safety Inc. has received three reports of cuts and scratches and one report of a child placing a broken clip in his mouth. The seats were sold nationwide as well as on the Britax website from June 2009 to October 2010. For a free repair kit, contact Britax at 888-427-4829. (Copyright ©2010 by The Associated Press.
