After a long hearing dealing with scheduling and missed deadlines in the Casey Anthony case, defense attorney Jose Baez left the courtroom today and refused to answer any reporters' questions.

Those include questions about whether Baez lied to former George and Cindy Anthony attorney Brad Conway.

"Mr. Baez did not lie to anybody and you are a pain …," Baez's co-counsel Cheney Mason told a WFTV reporter.

The defense team would not answer any questions related to the case today. Mason grumbled about media coverage being unfair and unbalanced.

Today's hearing was the first in the case since it was learned this week that Baez has another ethics complaint filed against him with The Florida Bar.

The defense says it still needs more time, even though one defense expert who hasn't yet written her report is "Tweeting" about nursing her sick cat, working on her new book, and vacationing in Tahiti.

The judge did not give Baez as much time as he wanted and is obviously losing patience with him.

"The experts, do they have telephones?" Judge Belvin Perry asked Baez rhetorically in court Friday.

Judge Perry asked Baez pointed questions after the defense missed Perry's deadline by ten days to give prosecutors reports of defense experts' opinions. Four are not done, which are holding up prosecutors' depositions.

Baez claims two of his experts are not even returning his calls.

"If they don't have the reports in by February 15, I guess they will not be testifying," Judge Perry said.

I viewed Cindy today as if she were going to the theater to see a show, all smiling & laughing until she had to attempt an acting career herself to show her disdain for the prosecution.   That woman is as self-absorbed as her daughter is & I think the tension is more about having to take the stand to get called out on more of their lies & tampering with evidence.  I'm not even sure that they truly give a crap about Casey per se, only to the extent that it is a reflection on them to a certain degree.

The person that was in court was in the hinkymeter.com blog today and she added:
It is remarkable to anyone who works in any capacity, professional or volunteer, to think that after over 21/2 years, Baez still needs more time to argue over the venue for jury picking. We've all heard how many counties HHJP has at his discretion to choose from. OF those how many he would eliminate already. OF those what is left the defense has already done ample research on. Yet Baez wants to argue that he'll need more time to argue venue. There were several respected members of the Bar and Law Enforcement that commented that the defense has NO AUTHORITY TO ARGUE VENUE TO BEGIN WITH. Other than possibly change of venue. So, once again, Baez seems to be showing how incapable of handling this case he really is.

Now, if you are watching the hearing, pay attention to Baez using "ROLLINS" as his state of law for venue and appeal. BLAH BLAH. (it will be important later).

this person was in court today and witnessed the hearing and other conversation.


on the elevator ride down I was accompanied by 2 sheriff's officers, Mr. George, Mr. Ashton, Mr. Shaeffer, another attorney (don't know name) and 3 followers of the case. For 23 floors they laughed and joked about the "Blunders of Baez". iNCLUDING mentioning that when he erroneously mentioned "Rollins" as a case to 'site law' on reference they wished that HHJP had said "So, Mr Baez, tell me about that case" . From what I heard, it was not only wrong to point, it was only half the correctly sited case. I'm afraid that Baez thinks he will go down infamously for changing law, being a lawyer of his times etc. But what he is (from what I've heard in downtown and in the courts) is the laughing stock of Orlando. His 2nd rate education, lack of experience and complete need to be an azzwipe is making him a piranha of his attorney brotherhood. He might go down in the law history and teaching books, but it will be in courses on how NOT TO DO IT.

Cindy, to me, once again looked like the shell of a person. She may be full of pizz and vinegar in the media and when she's fighting for casey. But when she is just "there" she looks like a women who has been dragged to Hell and hasn't had her soul find her body. I don't like what she's done. I've condemned her, joked at her expense, written comments to "shake" her up. But from what I see in court. There is nothing I or anyone else can say that she hasn't already faced in her nightmares. No matter what... you can see in her body that she is already paying the price for her families wrong doing.

A couple thoughts that are probably way off.
1.  Is Bozo hoping to scare up some free expert witnesses at that annual meeting in Chicago?
2.  Does Bozo need 30 days for "jury research" so he has enough time to attempt to poison the  jury pool there?

WESH, however, did show footage of Mason snapping at a reporter, “Get out of here.” Baez smiled.

Fox said he did ask Cindy Anthony, Casey’s mother, if she was losing confidence in the defense team. “She had no comment,” Fox said.

As stated in the article, doing away with this drug will NOT stop the death penalty.  I kinda like the firing squad.....they should start with the knees, then the torso and the head last.  Let them suffer a little instead of instant death. 

We could always replace the sodium thiopental with bleach, or in Casey's case, we could use Chloroform in injectable form. 

I personally prefer where we tie the prisoner up to a tree and let the victim's family pull them apart piece by piece, using tweezers pulling out 1 hair at a time.  In this case however, the victim is dead, and the victim's family could give a hoot about justice for the grandbaby, so the people who would uphold the sentence would be the SA and us sad bloggers who care about little Caylee.

Hey, Monks...missed the hearing live because my mom was inthe intensive care unit. (Pneumonia and really low blood pressure.  She's doing better.) What was beyond weird was when we were in the emergency room and the tv was on In Session and up front and personal was the Honorable Judge Perry.  I couldn't hear what was going on.  I came home late last night and watched it, finally.  What was Cindy doing there?  Normally she only comes to hearings when Casey is performing, um, I mean appearing.  Someone said John Allen was there too.  Any news on that front?  Got to go back to the hospital, but I'll see you all soon.

I have a different perspective about Baez' quest to have the jury made up of a certain ethnic group.  I think I've mentioned before that I consider myself an American, although I am of English descent, some generations ago.  Personally I find it racist to even contemplate that a jury should be chosen because they are of a certain ethnic backgrand, in this case Hispanic.  I would find it prejudicial if the jury were made up of people from say......New Jersey. (Of course a jury in New Jersey would be made up of citizens of New Jersey, but not necessarily born in New Jersey.)  I find the concept distasteful and I hope Judge Perry takes into consideration that to choose a jury because they are of an ethnic background is rather unAmerican.  A jury of our peers should be made be of many ethnic backgrounds and colors just as our peers, as well as Casey's are.  I hope Judge Perry rejects this concept.

I want to ask a serious question. With Bozo's conduct being so erratic, Both with him being so disorganized not only in and out of court and obviously with the handling of his money with two houses in foreclosure, is it possible he has some sort of an addiction problem? Are lawyers ever drug tested? Is there ever a requirement when their behavior is so far out of hand that they are required to be drug tested and treated in Florida?

I have thought about this for a while. I know there are functioning addicts that can somewhat carry on with their occupations and family life and no one ever suspects. But Bozo is getting so out there and bizarre over the period of time since we first knew about him, I can't help but wonder now if there is not some kind of problem. The thing that really makes me think there is a substance problem is his feeling of grandeur and he feels untouchable and tries to lie his way out of anything. Possibly it is a mental defect, but something about him is really weird.

He didn't have a pristine past either, what with not making the bar, sanctions about money problems, and it makes me think this has been going on for a while. Just my thoughts, and I was wondering if anyone else had some thoughts on this. JMO

What an incompetent lawyer, and I use the title lawyer loosely. I believe the defendent, as in Casey here, is to be judged by a jury of HER PEERS. I realize the defense has a job to do and that is to defend their client even if they are guilty, but Bozo can't even do that much, he has made this all about him, especially by insisting that the jury in this case consist of a majority of hispanics. Does he really think a jury of HIS PEERS will find Casey not guilty after all the state's evidence is brought to light, just because of his ethnicity? Hope he goes out with a bang because I believe this may be the last case he ever tries in a court of law. How insulting to the people of FL, that Bozo thinks only a jury of hispanics could rendor a fair and just verdict in this case based on the fact that the lead duhfense attorney is hispanic. If/when Baez loses his license to practice law, I wonder who will represent him in all his foreclosures, non-payments and criminal trials as a result of his total disregard and disrespect for the law?

Sounds like some sociopathic bahaviors to me and they usually don't stop until they are held legally responsible for there behaviors and dirty deeds, like Casey. I have thought that what attracted Baez to law, was not an interest in justice, but a means for him to always stay one step ahead of the law in his own twisted little world....JMHO

Sgt Allen & Det Melich have made several appearances to hearings so Im not sure there was any distinction yesterday as to why Sgt Allen was there.  As far as Cindy goes, she missed just a few recently but probably is now going to make as many as she can.  She cannot be too comfortable that the world now knows she was in the thick of yet another attempt to tamper with evidence & the prosecution in this case, i.e. LB (they met and spoke on several occasions & LB expressed right from the beginning an odd hyper sympathy for the Anthonys).

We all know that our judicial history did not reflect the entire community a trial was taking place, as unAmerican as it was then as it is now.  In particular this was a struggle African Americans demanded equality on for many years.  We've made great strides since those days but the makeup of the jury is still a consideration today but moreover to ensure a fair representation of the US citizen residents in the area the case is being tried, and NOT based on particular attorney's preference.  This is one of the reasons I have quite a bit of misgivings that the use of jury selection experts are allowed because they consider race, religion & sex which I think needs to be abolished.   We will not finish bridging the gap of prejudicial judgments if we allow it in some manner & not in others.  The fact that out of Bozo's mouth he even considered this only exhibits the type of sleaze he is & insulted every US citizen, not just those of Hispanic origin.   Overall, today's society does not tolerate prejudice or racial profiling and ignorance is finding its way to being equally intolerable, but there is a long way to go before those inclined to have blinders on against people not of their own like get out from under their self-binding mindset.

It is very difficult for me to get past the ugliness of her inside to see the beauty this writer sees on the outside.  Actions of a person, and the heart of a person always add or subtract from her looks.  If we are only talking outside beauty, as far as I know, Casey has not won any beauty contests recently.  If there was a way to do it, her parents would have exploited her, as much as possible, as they have their Granddaughter.  The only person I can see writing this letter is her Mom.  Her parents constantly belabor any change at all in her appearance.  I cannot believe how obsessed they are with Casey's looks. 

When I look at Casey, I see the ultimate pain of betrayal in the eyes of her daughter, who has been snuffed out of this life by her mommy, forever.  I just cannot see it any other way and believe me, I have tried.  I really did not want this wonderful, lovable, loyal, innocent, vivacious...child to have her life and her innocence taken away by her mother.  I cannot imagine any crime more horrific than one involving cruelty from your own mom.  If Caylee had survived the attack, by some miracle, her mother's betrayal would have messed her up forever.

God love you, Caylee, we do, and we are awaiting justice.  It has made me a better person just getting to "know" you.  I wish it was under other circumstances, but I can see you wanting your life, however short, to make a difference, and save other children.  Jesus hugs and angel kisses, baby doll.

Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayer, of Hispanic descent, said prior to her confirmation hearing that,"A wise Latino woman could render a better judgement than a white male."  I found that not only unwise, but offensive.  I thought it disqualified her for the high position she holds.  It seems this kind of racial/ethnic prejudice runs throughout our society.  I hope that Judge Perry, who is a man of integrity and while I don't know his background, I suspect he had a hard row to hoe to get to the position he now holds, would strive to be color blind and ethnicity blind and slap Baez on his ample butt.  A girl can dream.........

What is Dr. Logan going to testify to? As other bloggers have pointed out, WFTV was able to contact Logan for a comment on the dangers of abusing bath salts.

The big news is that Baez was unable to contact him while WFTV was…well, I am more interested with what exactly he will be doing for the defense as an expert… Dr. Logan seems to be an expert on “legal highs”, coming up with ways to test urine blood ect for these substances. He was at one time interested in researching stimulant use and driving impairment, drug interactions and postmortem toxicology, and drug facilitated sexual assault. He is director of NMS Labs, which is the first laboratory in the US to offer a forensic test for the key ingredients in Saliva and herbal incense blends such as K2,& Spice also testing for other designer drugs such as mephedrone, ect.

“NMS Labs monitors emerging trends in the drug abusing community, and rapidly responds with the latest technology to detect and measure these impairing drugs.” These drugs have some of the same effects of marijuana, LSD or ecstasy ect. It is said that each has adverse effects even death can occur… So again I ask what is Dr. Logan, the toxicologist/chemist…going to testify to?

In yesterday’s hearing, Jose Baez was sure to ask Judge Perry for clarification on what will be allowed in trial..If it is not in the experts reports or in the depositions it will not be allowed in… Jose Baez was adamant that Dr. Logan was NOT a toxicologist but rather a chemist…, although Ashton pointed out that it is on his web-page-

Yes, Dr Logan has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry but he has earned his Ph.D. in forensic toxicology. Doesn’t seem like such a big deal, I say tomato- you say tomato. SEATTLE — Dr. Barry Logan, head of the state crime and toxicology labs, has resigned following the discovery of deficiencies in the way DUI testing was conducted at the toxicology lab.
As head of the Washington State Patrol’s Forensic Laboratory Services Bureau, Logan was responsible for operation of the state crime lab and toxicology lab. He also filled the role of state toxicologist.

For several months, the patrol has been in the process of correcting operational deficiencies discovered in the toxicology lab. Recent court rulings also were critical of the operation and management of the lab.

Irregularities were discovered in the toxicology lab in late summer 2007.

A senior manager was found to have signed off on tests she did not personally perform. An investigation into that misconduct led to the discovery of other problems, including errors that may have materially affected breathalyzer results in about 130 DUI cases.

Batiste immediately ordered a series of audits, and all recommendations made by the auditors to date have been accepted. Most have already been implemented. A review of those audits is being done by the state’s Forensic Investigation Council, which will decide if it needs to conduct a further audit of its own.

In King County, three judges referred to what they called ethical lapses and a climate of compromise in the state toxicology lab.

Logan says he strongly disagrees with the findings of those judges, although he admits there were errors made in the lab. He said as soon as the problems were identified, they were corrected and he is confident in the calibration of breath test equipment and in the performance of the toxicology lab.

Good morning Monkeys--I don't think Baez is even smart enough to be a narcissistic sociopath.  I think he's more the village idiot type.

In the trial of OJ Simpson, since the crime occurred in Brentwood, the trial could have and should have been held there.  But Marcia Clark and Chris Darden and others thought they were so great and that they had such good evidence (They did have good evidence, but as to great, well......) that they could risk having the trial in a predominately African-American area of LA.  African-Americans as well as anyone else can come to a reasonable verdict, but in this case many think they did not.  Judge Ito (And he's another story altogether) had heard that one of the jurors had mentioned "Pay back time" and he questioned the jurors about it and they denied it.  However, I do feel that the black citizens of LA had had enough of the establishment--beatings by LE, opression, and other infractions.  Few can honestly deny this. I believe that they found OJ Simpson not guilty because of this as well as his being a football star and was a role model for many young African-American males--well older ones too, and many whites, as a matter of fact.  I mention this because I believe that Baez thinks he's another Johnny Cochran and if he only has a jury sharing his ethnicity, he can pull this off too.  First of all, of course, he's not Johnny Codhran---not even close.  And I believe the Hispanic community to be fair people, striving to become successful in the US, and many of them succeeding.  They have nothing in common with some white girl who killed her baby.  And they have nothing in common with some idiotic lawyer who happens to be of Hispanic descent.  Were I Hispanic, I would have nothing in common with him.  There's much more to being a good citizen than just clinging to outdated notions, and I don't think Baez has a chance with that.  It's time he rethinks that whole concept.

ITA & I've in the past mentioned that in Baez's mind he thinks he is the next Johnny Cochran...not even close is right.  Baez doesnt have a pinkie's worth of what JC possessed as an attorney.   While Johnny Cochran along with the rest of the one and only "dream team" accomplished in that trial was nothing short of brilliant & they took advantage of every defense tactic there was known & created new ones along the way.   When they argued a motion they cited case law & established precedent, Johnny's charisma & decorum in the court room never hurt either...something Baez & company sorely lack.  As far as the jury goes in that trial, agreed again I feel that other factors weighed into their decision more than the facts of the case alone.     BTW, I also agree very strongly about the point you made regarding Sonia Sotomayor & felt outraged by it.

Baez has made a grave error in how he has attempted to get sympathy from the Hispanic community.   One, he is so self-absorbed he actually has advertised that he is the "first Latino" attorney to try a capital murder case (as if that will get him somewhere & Im not entirely sure if he's correct on that issue) but I doubt there is one citizen in the US that cares about what that means to puffing his own feathers.  Two, he did not take the time to consider that ALL citizens, much less ones of Hispanic origin may just have "beef" with him & his client for dragging an innocent woman in the mud & accusing her of kidnapping/murder.   Three, he insulted the intelligence of EVERY citizen by assuming a particular portion of that society would be more naive and/or sympathetic.    Truthfully, if this man doesnt get disbarred after all his egregious conduct I will have lost more faith in our judicial system as it stands.

I am very very white.  I watched OJs trial every single day of the entire trial.  I remember this clearly because I worked for an Ophthalmologist in Florida at the time, in is it Brooksville, Florida?  This doctor would only come to the office 3 days a week, so the rest of the time, I called patients, did insurance billing, etc., and watched the OJ trial.  Also watched it when patients were in, cause they all wanted to see it too.  The doctor wanted it on the TV when he was in there too.  It played on the TV all the time.  I remember being pissed having to wait because of the Florida time zone versus California time zone for it to start each day.

I remember when he was found not guilty. I was so flipping happy.  I was jumping up and down in the office the day of the verdict.  I did not think he did it.  I am probably the only person in US of A that thinks he was innocent.  I still think, that if he did it (no pun here) he didn't do it alone. I was not a fan of OJ before his murder trial, so it as not like my hero had fallen or anything.  I hated Marcia from the prosecution side.  I also feel that his conviction now was to appease America for him being found not guilty back then, but hey, I believe in Karma and OJ deserves this Karma, based on his actions following his innocent verdict (and in his murdering 2 innocent people, if he did it).   

I cannot pinpoint why I didn't think he did it or if my opinion changed since then, I just could not (back then being naive) believe that a man could kill somebody (2 people in this case) in the vicious nature that they were killed and walk around and function without a care as OJ did.  My conscience would eat me up if I had done it. 

I guess my point is that I don't think Juror skin color had anything to do with the verdict.  I am as white as white.  I think it was based on horrible case by the State and the state using the worst possible attorneys they had available to try this case.   

Oh and we cannot forget the Forman (or is it Fohrman or some other spelling) debacle.  I hated him, and I am white, and I was a very young girl then, not married yet, no children, had not formed my morale base yet that leads me through my life as a mother.  yeah, I knew what right and wrong was, but I was a kid pretty much.

I don't ever believe in conspiracy now, but in that case, I believed they planted blood.  His lawyers did a fantastic job.

On the other hand, Scott Peterson's lawyers did a horrible job, and the state did a fantastic job. 

The defense team chosen makes a huge difference in the outcome (no matter the evidence or the skin color of the jurors) as does whoever prosecutes the case.

Baez is wearing some of caseys money and some went on a down payment for one of the luxury homes he couldnt keep up with. That tells you business hasn't been that profitable. And I dont seem to hear much support from other lawyers in the orlando kisssmee community. So if they dont like him there ! why would anywhere else make a difference.

Hi tupelo....it's going to be a very interesting couple of weeks....I enjoyed the hearing so much I watched/listened twice....loved the subtle smack downs......Judge Perry did it effortlessly. I have my fingers crossed that he sticks to his statements re no more extensions.  I honestly think JB signed up for the conference to waylay these 'experts.'  I was concerned with a couple statements from Baez regarding 'pointing to pictures' etc.....what pictures? Loved when JP asked him what photos he was going to point to re: the sniffers!  LOL

Casey Anthony Status Hearing: February 4, 2010 - Part 1

Yup. Seems like JP magically got through to the lab and even managed to get a response from them. Go figure!

Thanks trim.....this lists the 3 main questions I have on my list.

The hearing began late. The attorneys were in a conference in Judge Perry's chambers.  Why??

 At one point, Cindy Anthony was summoned to leave the courtroom and later returned with Baez&Co.'s attorney Michelle Medina. (I sure would like to know what all that was about!) 
I would also like to know why Cindy was there to begin with...this was a schedule status hearing....KC doesn't appear for them.....and Cindy doesn't appear except to see KC....so...was KC supposed to be there and for whatever reason not appear and is this why Cindy was called out of the court room??

 It was also noted that Sgt. Allen was in attendance at the hearing.  ??

The second question's answer is Casey was not scheduled to be there & was reported as such in advance.

The third question's answer in part is Sgt Allen & Det Mulich have been at quite a few hearings previously, I'm not sure there was any particular significance but it may have something to do with what I think it may have had to do with in regard to your first question...why they met in chambers & Cindy was called out of the court room.   It may have very well had something to do with the LB situation & what involvement they had in it.

I'd like to know too.   Baez likes to sneak the unfiled, unresearched motions in whenever he can so I kinda wondered since he went off into his rant about the diary, if he was trying to squeeze discussion (his version of a motion) in about that.  He looked like he was primed and ready to whine on maximum but JP shut him down. Maybe he told Cindy he was gonna try and it was a maybe that JP would hear it, maybe she would be called, maybe princess would be there?????

Hi can...good to see you too....I have often wondered the same thing....with these deadlines I think we will find out.  Let's see who/if writes a report and what's in the report. This is just so crazy....I think JB really believes this case is different....but it's not....it's just another case of a mother murdering her child...and unfortunately that is no longer different or unique...it happens far too often.

I sometimes wonder if Baez thinks/hopes he will have something to appeal

WHAT'S NEXT IN THE CASE?

Attorneys in the case against Casey aren't scheduled to be back in court until next month. The next hearing is set for March 2-3.

The judge will consider a defense motion to suppress statements made by Casey's parents, brother, her father's self-proclaimed mistress, her jail pen-pal, and her statements to law enforcement.

OMG !  He's had his vocal cords removed?!  HAAAAA  I dunno, unless JP shushes him the instant he begins to speak I think some whining will escape but I'll try to be optimistic about it.

I have a question about this.  Didn't JP say he put deposits on everything?  So, if they object, really what could would it do?  JP seems to have chosen and it seems to be there would be very little anybody could say to change his mind AND LOSE A TON OF MONEY. 

I can somewhat understand this delay with the lab.  Gosh, even in missing person's cases where people are still missing, it can take years sometimes for the DNA to come back on a possible match.

Yes! they have been in cahoots since very early, imo, sometimes working together sometimes not . I think the coincidence of Joy W and Laura B are too much. Both were heavily invested in getting Cindy's attention and friendship. Both were Caylee sighters and had communicated personally with Cindy. Where do we know casey saw how to manipulate people...her mother. Remember the photo of Wray with Lyon,the PI and Baez (I think him)..they were probably grooming her to be of "assistance" but she was just too nutty. Looks like Laura passed the nutty test and went on to "assist".  Is it any wonder Baez fought like hell to be alone with those TES docs? I think he had an altered one to slip in the mounds of papers.  They're all evil.

I tweeted her and gave her bozo's phone number also.  I told her I thought he told the judge she was unreachable. LOL

The Hispanic and Cuban (if drawn from Broward County) I have known are very Godly people and I don't believe for a minute they are going to let her get away with this murder. In the OJ trial they specifically went for a majority of black jurors from a specific area of town because where they chose them from had an automatic bias against cops. Not being mean about those jurors as but Cochran was very smart in that respect. Since OJ was black, he could pull this off. Bozo if doing the same would choose a jury of mostly white middle class which he does not want. He wants Hispanics to play to them that he is being harassed in this trial because of being Hispanic. He is stupid because that will backfire if he gets them because they are usually Godly people.

I am betting he wants to go with the uneducated like in the OJ trial so he can confuse them with the forensics. That is what happened in the OJ trial - the majority of jurors were not intelligent enough to sort through the bull and apply common sense like on the glove. Everyone with any common sense would know that leather draws up considerably after being wet and then dries. I always felt the prosecution made a mistake by not having someone testify to how much shrinkage would occur, but they really thought I believe that the jurors would automatically know that and they didn't or didn't apply it. The prosecution in the OJ trial was no where close to as sharp as this prosecution and no matter what Bozo tries to pull they are always one step ahead of him.

I have always felt they demean themselves almost as saying "I could not be in this position if not for my race". When I was in college affirmative action had really just become a true action and a buzz word. I remember some blacks in my classes who never even showed up threatening the professors if they failed them. They would threaten them with an AA lawsuit and the professor would just pass them to get rid of them. I often wondered how those people did in life with excellent credentials and inferior educations. The have to know deep down they didn't really achieve anything and could not even pass simple classes. How would that work in the business world? I remember one girl who was majoring in accounting and was one of the worst to threaten professors. I sure would not want her to be the accountant for any business I owned. LOL

See, exactly - we had someone in Houston who abandoned their baby and he died of it, but she said that it was 'some black guys in a van' who had taken the child.  The woman of course wasn't African American.  It really just burns me up that people think they can do that.  And yes, I agree - I think that Bozo might be the only person who thinks he's charming  lol.

Hi Mizjay....we think alike on this....I think, since this was a status hearing the media assumed Casey would not be there. However I agree with you I think for some reason Cindy was told KC would be there and that is why she was there. Several people posted other places that they saw JB look at Cindy when he came in the court room and shake his head, as if indicating a negative.

As to John Allen....I don't think it had anything to do with anything that we are aware of..but sure would love to know why.

5.  delay tactic.  whether through a recusal or an appeal.  he appears incompetent, unprepared and has let his defence case slip through his fingers with his varied and desperate attempts to point the finger at anyone/everyone.  Not that I think he has a valid defence.   
 

Yep, I think he'll attempt to delay also.  JP IS on to him..  The suspicious lag in testing the DNA smacks of intentional delay to me. Maybe not, but the lab has had the items for a long time yet apparently hasn't done the testing yet. The March 23 date that JP memorialized in the order yesterday seems like they just may have set the testing due to the phone call JP said he was going to make .  Unless there was some type of error at the lab seems like there may have been instructions from Baez to wait until he contacts them to begin testing. ???  If so, how convenient for Baez to jump up and down screaming he needs months now to analyze the results. He's not to be trusted and I do hope we see that over the topof the glasses look JP gives him!
