I hope I'm never put in this man's shoes as well, but I can tell you that if I ever am, I WOULD NOT ever try and protect the person that murdered my granddaughter, including if that person was my own daughter!

I too had some compassion for both CA and GA, IN THE BEGINNING, but they're done nothing to earn my compassion NOW, and I do hope they try and shift the blame to KC's parents. They've tried placing blame on everyone else! What about the lives of the people that GA and CA ruined?

Not to show any disrespect to anyone's opinions-

However, George and Cindy Anthony are willing participants in this circus.  They have been, by their own choice.

They continue to lie ( don't take my word for it, I have written hundreds of articles to back that up, or I suggest watching their interviews in succession) and act like they do, in the face of the death of their granddaughter, BY CHOICE.

Caylee was a baby and had NO CHOICE.  I am not a person to ever want to cause anyone pain, or to revel in it.

That said, I do VERY MUCH feel that the "take aways" from the travesty of this case have to reach any and all families who may ever find themselves in a similar situation.

Do we really want to have people thinking they can do this, get paid more cash than they could earn in their lifetime probably, and lie their assess off to get out of it?

Of course not, and for the Anthony's part in refusing their responsibility to do the right thing by Caylee in that regard infuriates me.

I do not think they understand the level of communal and online support they could have garnered, had they taken a different approach.   

I stand for Caylee and I have no compassion for the plight these people are now in, again, by their own choice.

I reserve my compassion for those who are not covering for a child murderer. I'll give Caylee all of the compassion and consideration she never had in her short life. She deserves it.

To think ... CA and GA might have KNOWN that baby was out there in those woods BEFORE the rest of us did and they chose to LEAVE her there to protect Casey. Nope. No excuse for that.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Like I've said before, they can love their daughter and still do the right thing by their grandchild. Maybe then Casey could see a good example for once.

And I think we've only begun to see the depths in which these people will go to do anything but let their daughter pay for her crimes and also make money off their dead granddaughter. This would work because they could say even the Grand Jury testimony of George was tainted because he was the murdereder and wanted KC to be blamed. I can't find my long, long post from 2008 which went into detail about how it would work, but a few of the things I remember I knew at the time was:

George was the last one to see KC & Caylee - His story reeked of BS when he told it. (timing, exact clothing, etc) I suspected that KC would say she left that day and left Caylee with George and did not return. She would say she was partying all the time because she "thought" her parents had Caylee and when she found out something happened to Caylee she freaked out, went into PTSD shock and that is why she has never talked to LE again.

She could tell George had been SO ABUSIVE to her all her life that when he told her he would get her off but she had to not talk to anyone & if she did he would kill her mother and Lee, so she never told anyone. That would tie in with her jail video saying she could not say because of the danger to others. Most of the lies George has told would tie right in with him killing Caylee because KC has never addressed any of the things he said like "seeing in her car trunk" - the duct tape, dogs hitting around the back yard, (because George could have buried her for a few days where KC would have been too lazy) Then you tie in the garbage bags at the house, and other things and she certainly could make that case easily.

So is Lippman saying that one shouldn't even speculate that the defense might be gassing up the bus to run over GA? No one said George killed Caylee. All discussion has been how the defense may try to spin GA's actions and words. I don't get the point of the news release by George's lawyer.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Another hearing has been scheduled in the case against Casey Anthony.

Judge Belvin Perry will hear a motion Thursday morning regarding a defense request to add new names to its witness list.

Defense attorneys hope to add six names in all. The list includes two mental health experts who the defense said will "rebut recent rulings" regarding Anthony's state of mind and "consciousness of guilt."

I had never followed this case until recently. I have been trying to watch alot of old videos and looking at some older posts. I don't have time to read it all. I am sorry. My question is.. Has this poor baby ever been given a proper burial or a memorial service?  I been trying to learn about all whats went on through this all.. From what I can see or read .. Another looney family. :(

GOd Bless the poor little Angel. I have a 2 yr old Grandaughter and just would kill someone if they ever hurt her and cannot think why anyone would hurt an innocent baby.  :(

ORLANDO, Fla. -- There was more legal action on Tuesday in the case against Casey Anthony. The state finished interviewing possible new witness Patricia Young Tuesday afternoon.
In September 2008, Young was in a fight with Casey's father, George Anthony, while protesting outside the Anthony house.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said the defense may try to call Young as a witness, possibly to blame George for Caylee's death (watch full interview).

IMO GA and CA and Lee to some degree deserve every minute of pain they get. They did NOTHING to protect Caylee in life and have done nothing but disrespect her in death. Even the "funeral" was nothing but a self serving show. I have been in shoes like the As - my step daughter dang near killed my granddaughter - never did I nor her dad stand behind her. rather we worked with investigators to keep the child away from the monsters. Never would I have helped in the cover up. Even though the fools at DHS returned the child and subsequent children to the monster, both her dad and I look for signs of abuse. Each and every time they occur we report them. And we tell monster to her face that we would do anything to keep the kids safe. I might be labeled a stalker, but I have friends who are police that drive by the house they live in and teachers at school that watch for abuse - and all because I fear for the kids. The fact that the A's not only chose to allow KC to have any contact with this child but allowed her to be murdered and then COVERED up and continue to cover up what THEY KNOW happened, shows me they had very little real love for an innocent child. In their shoes, I would have filed for custody of Caylee, I would have called DHS when I even THOUGHT something bad was happening. I would not have used the child as a pawn and a CERTAINLY WOULD NOT have covered up anything she did.

But like I said, it is JMO.

Cindy Anthony is disputing something in the investigators' search warrant affidavit about Casey Anthony's phone records.

"That's a misstatement," she told Eyewitness News.

The affidavit says Casey's cell phone records "show no numbers belonging to a Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez" and that there is "no incoming call" around noon on June 15, when Casey says she got a call from a private number and briefly talked to Caylee.

Cindy said she shared new information with investigators Monday about Casey's phone records that she says shows Casey really did get a call from Caylee on July 15 from a "private number." She's even claiming that Caylee's great grandmother heard from Caylee during the time she's been missing.

"We had a long conversation about that today. Some of the stuff that got leaked out is erroneous and they're looking at some of those things today," Cindy said.

"How did the person who had Caylee get your mother's phone number?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked.

"She was programmed into my daughter's phone," Cindy said.

I SO agree with you. I love my children, and by the Grace of God the older ones turned out to be excellent parents but if they had endangered any of their children I would have been the FIRST to put a stop to it one way or the other.

First of all I would have KNOWN where my grandchild was staying and I would have already run a background check on any babysitter. Second I would have known where my daughter worked and she certainly would not have played like she had a job when she didn't for long. My older kids never lived in my house once they finished college, but if one had lived with me, I would have had a lot more knowledge of who their friends were. That is one thing I have never understood about the Anthonys as they knew NONE of KC's friends. My kid's friends were always running in and out of our house and I not only knew them, but their parents also. Even when they were in college, their friends hung out on our boat or at our house. It appears to me Cindy was so worried her house would be a little dirty she kept everyone at a distance. In the depositions none of KC's friends even knew the Anthonys.

This is ALL such horse manure.........they knew who these people were because those doctors interviewed KC months ago. The defense was trying to hold back these people just as the judge predicted a month ago.
There is no reason for ANY of them to be allowed to testify except maybe the landscaper (if that story is even true) I hope the judge holds true to what he said as still NEITHER of those doctors have provided a written report as required by the court over a month ago. I CALL BS !@

Doesn't the fact that Casey CHOSE to stay in her parents' home discount any 'suffering at the hands of her parents' mental defense?

She could have married Jesse.  She could have gotten a REAL job (instead of the make believe one) and saved money to move out on her own.  She could have used all the money she stole to get an apartment.  She had plenty of options ... we all do.  Yet she stayed ...  Tells me she wasn't feeling that discontent or abused.

You're right, the dirty secret of whatever it might be plus kc couldn't afford for any of her friends to talk at length with her parents. She kept her life compartmentalized so one group could never compare 'facts' with another. Her lies and persona was unique to each set of friends. It wouldn't do at all for any of them to be reminiscing about a party they were all at when kc had told her parents she was working or any other similar discrepancies. Her little house of cards would blow up. 

There are three things that I would rejoice at in this here case!

I have to reply to this post - The answer is I hope I am never put in the Anthony's shoes either, but I can assure you I would NOT lie for my daughter. I would not clean out a car which had the smell of decomposition all over it. When I smelled that at the tow yard, I would have IMMEDIATELY called the police. George Anthony KNEW when he smelled that someone had dead had been in that car. He knew it was not KC because he had talked to her on the phone, so WHO the heck did he think had been dead in it?  Tell me that.

Then we have a narcissistic mother calling the police and asking for her daughter to be arrested over a CAR?? Not over her granddaughter but a stupid car? A mother who had let her daughter STEAL from her checking account, STEAL a check from George,  FORGE CHECKS on her mother & her father's nursing home account & do nothing? Are we to believe this woman had nothing to do with Caylee being murdered? You let a sociopath run loose with a small child, spending the night with only God knows how many men and she wants to be found to be an innocent grandmother who should be pitied? Give me a break. They should put her in the cell next to KC in my opinion as she is as responsible as KC except for doing the actual deed of the murder. She knew that child was at great risk and did NOTHING,

Then we have a father who would not keep a job, screwed over his entire family with taking money for his addictions which put him in a position to be a servant to his wife and his daughter. This man KNEW that child was dead, and it was not denial that kept him from saying it but his insane need for Cindy to keep him up. Did he molest KC? Who knows, but the family dynamics were such it sure can be suspected even if she is a pathological liar. From what I have seen they are ALL pathological liars who will lie when the truth would better serve them.

I not only have NO SYMPATHY for either of them. I find them totally disgusting to even watch and I personally hope both of them are charged after this is all over with conspiracy to obstruct justice. (which I believe they will be) It would not be a far stretch to charge them under the R.I.C.O. Act along with those freaks who lived with them and provided that sign with other people's money. I hope all of their "donations" and non profits are thoroughly investigated and prosecuted for any wrongs upon unsuspecting good hearted people who made donations.

Everyone who has tried to help them has bad things happen to them and I hope every bit of that karma they reap at one time after the trial.

I was thinking of this last night' I have never ever seen anything like the likes of baez! I remember my dislike for joe taco representing Joran vandersloot! many of us had such dislke for him! but nothing could ever come close to this ! bozo!!
I noticed during the hearings' baez played up to the camera's grandstanding' putting his hands in his pocket and behind his back and turning sideways to make sure they got a good shot of him.

what he doesnt realize is that the judge more than likely would see and replay the hearings! he thinks that he was being cool by rolling his eyes at the judge!! I think that the judge is keeping a list and checking it twice on bozo's behaviour and disrespect.

Not once did the inmate call 911 during those 31 days caylee was missing. but yet she made that 911 call when she complained about the protesters in front of the home. Like someone else said they were there because of her!
in the 911 call she made! they asked her name and refused to give it but rather replied! one of the residents. She told 911 that this has to stop now!! send help now!!!

They are going to do everything they can to delay this trial. They have to have their way!! this is what Mason call's fun!! unbelievable!!

That is an excellent thought there..........of course she could have moved out. Florida is full of women with children that the state helps with housing, daycare, food, jobs, etc. All she would have to have done was go to the state agency which handles all of that and apply. With no job, a small child to support she would have been eligible for all kinds of benefits.

She did not want to be on her own because she had it made right where she was. If she needed money they gave it to her and if they would not give it to her, she would steal it from them. I am anxious to hear what Lee says in the trial as I bet there has been a LOT going since she was a teen. I remember the reference to her "past run ins with the law" (obviously juvenile court records) in court with that first attorney. I think Lee will tell the truth because there was some reason he needed immunity and if he lies about anything he will lose that agreement. I would bet the state brings up a LOT of KC's past long before this happened & they don't have to have the juvenile records to do it - just ask Lee.

And it was basically a love fest for Casey.  And, even though she had a memorial and was cremated and the grandparents wear her ashes, she may still be alive, LOL.

They constantly want rehearings.  Can't JBP put a stop to this chit?  So, if he denies this again, can they refile for a rehearing?

Yes, a vigorous defense, but does he really want her to walk the streets again?  I don't get defense laywers. 

What if the Green River Killer was found not guilty because of his lawyer's efforts? 

I agree.  I would always love them, but I would not lie for them or cover up for them, and I would encourage them to do the right thing.

I don't believe she will plea.  I've been wrong before, but I just think she's lovin' the attention.  The only plea deal I think she'd take is if she got 15 years or less.  She'd be stupid to pass that one up.  The only way I see SA's offering her a deal is if George is Caylee's daddy.  I can see jurors being sympathetic to her, though not excusing her.

Maybe the meeting between G's attorney and Bozo was one in which Bozo said "we got nothing else, you said you'd do anything for your daughter, you owe her man, just let us create REASONABLE doubt.  You don't have to admit to anything.  We just need ONE juror to hang the trial.

I think the same thing. I have read all the cases on line that I can find and from what I find he is NOT the hot shot attorney the media has portrayed him at all. I watched a video of him in court where he was terrible with his incessant rambling and his client is on death row if I have the trial correct. Orlando attorney Mark Lippman issued the statement amid a media report saying that Casey Anthony's defense could suggest that George Anthony was responsible for Caylee's death.

Speculation about some witnesses involved with a scheduled Thursday hearing in the case led up to the suggestions.

Regarding a last minute plea ...

First of all, it will pizz me off!  Look at all the wasted time and money!  After all the work they've put into this case, and the fact that they have a really good case, I can't see the prosecutors going for any plea unless it's to life in prison ... no DP.

Second, really have to wonder how a guilty plea from their daughter would set with George and Cindy?  Would it change their crappy holier than thou attitudes?  Or would they continue to profess her innocence?  Hmm ...

Cookie and Newfie, it is my belief they will go to their respective graves with the attitudes they currently have . . . they see nothing wrong with themselves nor nothing wrong with their murdering daughter.  If necessary, they will profess she accepted the plea to keep her family from more pain, or some other equally BS theme.  I don't believe they have had the truth running through their veins in years and years, if ever.  That's why they are so good at the word game of containing a syllable of truth, aka "half-truths" . . . half-truths are a way of life for all of them.  JMO

I so agree.  Their belief in their own "mistruths" have sustained them.  The Myth-truths of their perfect family being challenged only solidifies their position of "us against the world."  I think this is why they have such problems with authority figures.  They all seem like eternal adolescents to me.  Poor Caylee.

I agree with you Sister, and somehow Casey will come out on top, when George and Cindy get done talking if she accepts a plea. I wouldn't even be surprised at all if Cindy insists that Caylee is alive and they have had sightings of her.

Nothing George would do to help his little princess would surprise me. I could even see him jump up in the courtroom and say I killed Caylee, but you have to have proof he did, and I don't know how that would happen, and wouldn't he have jumped up by now and said he is the killer instead of letting Casey sit in jail? And I also think Casey's letters about sexual abuse by George, even if he didn't, he would go along with it. This is like a family you see in a horror movie.

I don't live in the Orlando area, however, I do live with in drivings distance. I have from the beginning of the case coverage thought I have seen her some place. I then realized it was when my former nieghbor got busted last year for prostitution. Casey was in my area for about 30 - 60 days, and worked with her. Her picture was on CL in my area(Sarasota), in the erotic section. I have contacted the police on this matter, giving them the information, in hopes it may fill in some blanks. I was told "thank you, and it has been noted". If they are waiting for a confession from this female, they are not going to get it. It is a shame this whole case is tainted, both from the family's side, and the law enforcements side. If this child is found, it may be to late.

The Casey Anthony defense team has billed the state more than $103,000 for her case in the year since the woman was declared indigent, according to a newly released financial report from the Justice Administrative Commission.

The JAC provided a spreadsheet today showing the defense has billed $103,470.89 as of today. Of that total, the Commission has paid out $60,226.62. An additional $31,596.11 has not been paid yet, while another $11,648.16 in billings "will not be paid," according to the financial report.

So far, the bulk of the defense billings – more than $52,150 – and the state-paid expenses – more than $40,300 – fall under the line item "Personal Services – Independent Contractors." That funding is mostly for investigative work and court-appointed mitigation specialist expenses.

The mitigation work would help the defense be prepared should Casey Anthony be convicted of first-degree murder and face a possible death sentence recommendation.

The expert witness expenses include biological evidentiary analysts, crime scene processing and mental health items.

In late March 2010, Circuit Judge Strickland declared Casey Anthony indigent and eligible for state funding of major defense costs, such as experts, investigators and certain travel expenses.

Strickland's decision a little more than a year ago came after hearing Anthony's attorneys testified that she received $200,000 in licensing fees from ABC News. The network paid for exclusive rights to photos and videos of Anthony, her family and Caylee Marie, the daughter she is accused of killing.

That money was all spent, Anthony's attorneys said at the time.

The JAC's payments for the defense to date are only part of the public cost of this high-profile case.

Earlier this month, court administration officials released an estimate showing Casey Anthony's upcoming trial will cost the court system more than $361,000. The bulk of that will be used to house, feed and transport sequestered jurors for eight weeks, according to the expense breakdown.

She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?

In the Case Against Casey, all eyes will continue to focus on the science at this week's Frye Hearing.

Just Wednesday, more transcripts of depositions were filed. One of the four added in the court file is of Dr. Madhavi Martin from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.

Dr. Martin explained LIBS -- Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. She said it's a technique that uses lasers to generate specific elements that are present in the sample.

She describes it as making a fingerprint.

This technique has been around since the 1960s.

Lunchtime at the Orange County Courthouse means hundreds of people flooding out the doors.

When the Casey Anthony trial starts, there will be a couple hundred more people right across the street.  And everyone will be looking for a place to eat.

Expect a lot more dough and a lot more cheese come mid-May.

When Casey Anthony's in court, more pizzas are sliding into the oven at Fratelli’s Restaurant.

“Our restaurant is full without the Casey Anthony [case], especially in that time 12 to 1,” said Julian Serjani.

Serjani and his family run Fratelli's restaurant, which sits literally in the shadow of the Orange County Courthouse.

Oh I don't think that at all loca.  I think both Casey and Cindy (and George as far as anger goes) have a really hard time keeping their true feelings out of their face.  The whole family has a problem keeping their feelings "inside" "hidden" ... they're just not good at it.  Lee has found that nervous laughter works for him ... but no one else in the family seems to have come up with a mechanism to hide their feelings.  (And honestly, Lee - doesn't work so much - sometimes just seems really inappropriate!)  Fortunate for us ... and a jury ... unfortunate for them ... and the defense. 

Did you happen to notice all the instances of the "past tense" that she typed? Tells me she KNEW something bad had happened to her. Her reference to an "angel" was unnerving as she has never used that since then except after the body was found that I can find.

Makes me sick ... gives me chills ... As I'm now in the camp who thinks Cindy and George knew a long long time before any of the rest of us did.

The one thing I always had a problem with in the scenario that they knew Caylee was dead and Casey murdered her - was the fact that Cindy called LE ... I couldn't figure out why she would do that!  Now that fingers are pointing at George ... (I can't figure out why it's taken this long ... unless they just didn't want to be obvious) ... but I can completely see Cindy and Casey coming up with a "George" defense early on ... which would completely explain Cindy calling LE.

I think the "delay" has just been another Cindy control tactic.  Casey is in jail and while she is ... Cindy has all the control.  She's been more than happy to play Casey against George ... but George was always going to be the scapegoat. 

I never ever wish a child harm ... but sometimes I hope that Caylee has ended up in a better place than she would have been in had she grown up with these people.

I was wondering in regards to this picture you see Casey wearing dog tags now I have tried my best to enlarge it so that I can see who's name was on it and if they were "Issued" gear to someone in the military and if so WHO?  Any monkeys out there want to give it a try when I do I can't make out a thing.

The defense has always hit the airways claiming/denying something and then a couple of days later, we see opposite results of what they just said.  I consider the Anthonys as part of the defense team.  We shall see how this one plays out.....

Well can I just say ... bless your heart for noticing there were dog tags among all that cleavage!   ::MonkeyHaHa::  There was a time right around Iraq "shock and awe" that generic (or etchable) dog tags came in vogue at those teen mall stores ... because I can remember them when I took my son shopping.  And I have two SEALS in the family and was less than thrilled to see dog tags and their meaning dishonored.

They also came with some XBox & Playstation games. There was also a number of tennis shoes with came with them that all the teens wore. I would like to know what they said, but it was someone's in the military they would have theirs on, so I tend to think those are one of those you could buy. The chain is also way too long to be military issue.

Yeah my eyes are still hurting from what I had to subject them to look at all the while I had to ZOOM in and try to get a clearer picture of those dog tags.  Turbo is right tho so a head nod his way that the chain IS to long for it to be standard issue gear..so good catch there..guess my focus was trying to see if I could read what was engraved.  You can see/notice that there is something engraved in them.  I'm going to poke around the internet and see if I could find those tags that were given out as promotion for those console gaming systems..I'm curious.  the pre-trial hearings are as intregal a part of the verdict as any of the trial. So far....the defense is sucking it big time. Baez is also completely loosing any composure he made have conjured to this point. We saw little glimpses of the fireworks as the State is also getting fed up with having to play senior level sports with a freshman who hasn't even finished orientation yet. This week is another back door attempt. I've heard that there will be explosives as the defense (Baez) once again will stretch beyound his knowledge and ability and get slapped back down to reality. HHJP will also begin (if not this week) to show how he plans to keep this trial on a timely track and avoid appeals issues. I just have been told  to be at these hearings. And my birdie was never said that.

But dont expect a plea deal at this time.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The defense team for an Orlando woman accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony has billed the state more than $103,400 in the year since she was declared indigent.

According to a financial report released Wednesday by the Justice Administrative Commission, $60,226 has been paid so far, with the majority of the billings paying for investigative work and court-appointed, mitigation-specialist expenses. The defense has also billed more than $20,000 for expert witnesses to testify on behalf of 25-year-old Casey Anthony.

Authorities estimate that Anthony's trial, slated to start May 9, will cost more than $361,000. Much of that will be used to house, feed and transport sequestered jurors for eight weeks. The jury will be selected in a still-undisclosed city and transported to Orlando for the trial.

Casey Anthony team wants to add last-minute witnesses

Defense attorneys for Casey Anthony are expected to be in court this morning for a hearing about why they should be allowed to add late witnesses to the case.

Two of those witnesses are prepared to testify about Casey Anthony "and recent rulings related to the defendant's state of mind and consciousness of guilt," according to a defense motion.

Aside from Dr. Jeffrey Danziger and William Weitz, the defense wants to use four other late witnesses.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry is expected to hear this matter starting at 10 a.m. today.

We had have car repaired at a body shop once.  We went to pick it up and there was this horrible smell.  My husband was gagging.  The owner told us that he'd picked up a car from an accident with a fatality.  He said that he thought they'd left a body part in it.  It was a really gruesome accident.  He was waiting on the insurance company to come pick up the auto.  He eventually had to move it to the rear of the property due to the smell.  It was worse than any dead animal I've ever smelled.

Hmmm, it took me longer to wake up at 6:30am than the trial lasted.  Well, at least tommorrow's hearing will be longer and now it starts at 9am instead of 8:30am.  Going back to bed for a bit.  Since I'm on the West Coast, I will have to be up early, every single day of the trial.......not complaining......can't wait for justice for Caylee.

The defense has also billed more than $20,000 for expert witnesses to testify on behalf of Anthony.

Authorities estimated that Anthony's trial, slated to start May 9, will cost more than $361,000. Much of that will be used to house, feed and transport sequestered jurors for eight weeks. The jury will be selected in a still-undisclosed city and transported to Orlando for the trial.

One interesting note....JA said that he'd be delivering a cd to Judge Perry and to the defense of photos that the pros would be using at trial.  It includes photos of the remains.  There is a court order against the release of said photos.  I have to wonder if he mentioned that to remind the defense that if the photos are leaked, we'll know who leaked them????

First there are rumblings about George is the one who killed Caylee, then you have the Anthony's lawyer making statements that George didn't kill Caylee. Everything, at least to me has a reason, a strategy, what really is going on in this big mess?

Rare for a Casey Anthony hearing, it was over in around 20 minutes.

"The good news is, for the most part, I'm advised the state doesn't have objections," defense attorney J. Cheney Mason told Judge Belvin Perry.

Cheney informed the judge that they have voluntarily removed Sharon Cadieux from the list, saying neither side has been able to get cooperation from her; Cadieux went to the Anthony's home in 2008 to protest and George Anthony, Casey's father, pushed her during an altercation.

Thursday, Mason did not address his accusations during or after court. Other than cutting off Judge Perry at the beginning of the hearing, Mason did not address in any way his accusations that Judge Perry was "disingenuous" and flat-out wrong to allow jurors to hear Casey Anthony lie to investigators and to her family during phone calls and visits with them when she was in jail.

The judge previously rejected defense arguments that Casey was actually in custody and that her parents and brother were acting as agents of investigators, so she should have been told she had a right to remain silent.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said he's not surprised by Mason's demeanor in court Thursday.

"What people don't realize is that you file these motions, you make your arguments. Once you get a ruling, you move on. It's not personal, it's business," Sheaffer said.

Hornsby said the defense needs to do something to lessen the impact of Anthony's lies and seemingly uncaring attitude before anyone else knew her daughter was missing.

"The defense recognizes Casey's statements are very damaging to the case, and so they have to put on some type of evidence to explain away why she didn't respond the way you would expect a normal grieving mother to respond about where her daughter was," Hornsby said.

Ashton also announced that he would turn over a CD to the defense team of 236 photos he plans to use at trial. The images include some of Caylee Anthony's remains, which have been sealed by the court.

Arguments over scientific evidence will resume on Friday morning.

Not surprising....I mean she inserted herself by being a protester, and imo, most of the folks out there at the Anthony home were kinda nutz. lol  And of course she has seen what has happened to others in this case.  She is insignificant to this case....from any aspect.

Perry Known For Fairness In High-Profile Cases

He is in a bad position here.........he has nothing to contribute to this defense except distortions and innuendos against the judge & others. Everyone is making fun of him including the attorneys in the area. No one takes him seriously as most believe he is a senile old fool. He has Bozo screwing up things faster than he can read a law brief so he is appears inept and clueless. He obviously does not read the court orders for case law and even if he did does not understand the laws. He is almost pitiful being drug along in this fiasco.

As to him considering himself a Southern gentleman - I find that insulting. I am a born and raised Southerner and gentlemen in the South do not act demeaning to women. They cherish them and many times tolerate them, but NEVER would a Southern gentleman every act like he does.  

He reminds me of an old yankee guy who moved down south after retiring who lived on our street. He would sit out on the second story veranda and drink all day making rude comments to people. One day he was sitting on the rail of the veranda and fell off to the ground. Many people laughed and only his pea brained wife who put up with him went rushing over to see about him. Of course the old drunk was not even hurt but he did learn something as he never sat on that rail anymore. LOL  Mason does not seen to even learn from his mistakes.

Right after Thursday's hearing about recently listed defense witnesses, WFTV wanted to ask defense attorney Cheney Mason about his recent accusations that Chief Judge Belvin Perry is biased against Casey. Instead of answering, he hid behind his umbrella and told Belich she was stupid.

"Do you still believe the judge is biased? Are you afraid to show your face? Do you believe the judge is biased?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Mason.

"You are probably the stupidest reporter on the face of the earth," Mason replied, trying to shield himself from Belich using his umbrella.

"I'm sorry, isn't that what you said in your court filing?" Belich asked.

Man sentenced to 15 years in death of girlfriend's daughter:

Diaz, 30, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for manslaughter.

He and defense lawyer Jos� Baez proclaimed his innocence and blamed the child's mother, Samaris Bobe Silva, who participated in the proceedings by phone from her home in Puerto Rico.
Baez called the sheriff's probe of the child's death "a one-night, one-sided investigation," suggesting the more likely suspect was the mother,

 whom he criticized as "cold" for not attending the hearing in person. He said she "couldn't even bring herself to cry" during her telephone testimony.

Yup, that sweet baby was just around the corner. Three weeks before her remains were found, I went to visit my daughter in Gainesville. Had a few hours to see certain places in the area before going to the airport so I went to Hopespring Lane first. Drove past the house and around the corner, turned around before the driveway to the school and stopped across the street from where little Caylee was tossed. I cannot tell you what I felt, except that I needed to leave there and knew there was no need to go visit any other place like I had planned. Spent the rest of the day at the airport. I was not surprised when they found that sweet baby in those woods. Just sad, really sad.

Caylee's body was found really close to their home..I could not believe how close it was. the diagram from the air makes it look like it is much farther away than it really is..very sad when thinking about it when I saw the area.

I doubt she is losing any sleep worrying about what will happen to her or what happened to her daughter.  if she has any bags, it is probably from keeping 1 eye open to make sure no roaches from the lunch tray are crawling on her on ugly arse.  She thinks she is getting out, innocent, and that Bozo will be her savior.
