I posted this on Blink's site and I really wonder if this was why the Anthonys went into cove rup mode BEFORE they found KC.

Okay, this may freak everyone out, but I have to say it. By the 1st of July Caylee had been dead over 2 weeks. WHAT IF…….KC had taken that garbage bag full of the decomposed body liquids (she would have been liquefied by then) and tried to flush them down the toilet before she dumped the bag? She did back into the garage as per the neighbor. In dumping the liquids some bone or some part of Caylee got stuck in the plumbing which after a while gave off odor of decomposition as they smelled later in the car. That could explain why the dogs hit in various places in the yard as they had moved that water from the pipes. It could also explain why they went into a panic mode because both of them KNEW what they were smelling.

Turbo, I will answer you both places.

Personally, I do not believe that the plumbing issue could have been "Caylee".  For one, both Gerus and Bones, imo, while "working the scent" would have alerted that they wanted inside that house, imo.  Moreover, I think the plumber would have found the "root cause" and had it been "remains" there is no way I think he would not have phoned OCSO.  

The other issue would be that it would belie Dr. Vass report that Caylee was put in the swamp PRE-Bloat phase, and of course the 2.6 days in truck measurement.

I do believe, it is something related to Caylee, either the blue "dress", a bathing suit, or Mama's clothes.  Whatever it was, the A's hid it, and it made someone in that home, presumably Cindy, freak out and be immediately concerned for CAYLEE"S safett and well being.

That is the important distinction here.  What plumbing issue could trigger immediate panic about CAYLEE ?

I also note it is the same day that Casey's car is towed.

HLN interviewed the guy that did caseys tatoo and another woman dunno who she is. They both said she was a wonderfl/attentive mother. The guy at the tatoo shop also said that casey has been bringing caylee in there for years?

I have always wondered about that. In Michigan, where I live, it is illegal to bring children into a tattoo shop no matter what. Wonder if it is the same there?

Dont you just love brad trying to call the kettle black!! when indeed the sweet irony was that his clients were selling t-shirts, teddy bears and god knows what else besides their souls to the devil!! going on every show that would allow them to spew their propoganda!! of lies and accusations towards innocent  people that just had the misfortune of be-friending casey.

the anthonys know what time it is and who killed caylee. even if they dont profess it with their lips they cant erase that from their memory bank!!! once casey is sent to prison all they will have left is the shrine they set  in caylees room and the back yard near the playhouse and sandbox! oh  and will have  tube socks and any of his off springs.
 

Casey doesnt care about them anymore than she cared about caylee!

loca, I agree with everything you said about Conway and the Anthonys.  Conway said, and I recall it clearly, that there was no tape on the skull.  He lied on national TV and everywhere else he had the opportunity.  Now he's trying to play the good guy.  I don't buy it and I think he is not much different from Baez.  If he wants to plead ignorance about who is making money out of Caylee's death, I can tell him.  George and Cindy Anthony, that's who.  He already knows that, though, because he helped them.  The vendors he is complaining about are just making an honest living and providing a service that people want.  It has nothing to do with making money on Caylee's death.  How about Baez and the $300,000? That was making money on Caylee's death.  And every single member of the defense team who is getting even one penny is making money on Caylee's death. And his favorite clients, the Anthonys.  How about their "Foundation?"
I just hate hypocrites.

Mock Jury Hears Casey Anthony Case
CBS News Program Suggests Weaknesses In State's Case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Producers for the CBS News program "48 Hours Mystery" have assembled a panel of mock jurors and shown them evidence that may be used at Casey Anthony's murder trial next month.

In a TV commercial for the news program, the mock jury is asked whether they would acquit Anthony if the only charge was first degree murder. Nearly all of them stand up.

Producers have released few other details about the program, which airs Saturday night at 10:00, but a spokeswoman for the show confirms the mock jury rejects some of the evidence prosecutors plan on using at trial.

"This is going to have an impact on the jury," said Orlando criminal defense attorney Mark O'Mara. "It's going to be something that the defense and the state and Judge (Belvin) Perry will have to deal with and protect against."

Oh, seeme, it is not a drive for me, at all, it is just a short putt! 

I want this woman off the streets and taken away from society before someone else gets hurt or killed.  I believe she has shown, in her words and by her deeds, that she can go off at any time.  If you can plot to kill your own child, you can kill anyone, imo, Caylee was defenseless.  By plotting against her friends, she was willing for them to go under the broad wheels of the bus and be put to death in her place.  It is not safe to have her in society, every time we see her, she shows us again the face of evil and it is awful.

I have come to know Caylee through others and I love her, not only because she is a child of God, but because of the goodness I see in her heart and soul.  I pray for Caylee each day, and want to be strong enough to leave Casey's punishment in the hands of the Lord and Caylee, herself.  Whatever happens I know Caylee has had lots of prayerful attention and I pray God's will be done.

Sry, I'm not interested in what a 48 hrs jury decides.  No way have they listened to JA and LDB lay out the evidence and come back with a not-guilty.  KC will get the DP.

Dont you find it odd that they could only get two people to say that casey was a good mother!
one was cindys friend whom yielded a baseball bat at her husband and the other an ovious lie by the tatoo artist.

The tatoo artist had only been in business for a year and yet  states that casey had been coming in there for a few years duh!

what I find odd that they couldn't get any of her old and newer friends to say anything nice about her. I also wonder who of all her old and new friends will they will get during trial to give a good character reference of her?

Melich is most known for his work on the Casey Anthony case, though his profile on the "America's Most Wanted" website doesn't mention the case by name.

The profile does allude to the Anthony case by mentioning a 2008 missing toddler report turned homicide.

I saw a murder trial on tv once; can't remember which one it was, but they had a picture of the victim as she was before the murder and had one next to it of her after she was murder. When the jurors were interviewed about it, they said it made a huge difference in their minds about guilt or innocence because they kept looking at the before and after pictures.  I think that's what they should do in this case.  Put up a picture of Caylee as she was a toddler and then put in the after.  That makes a statement all by itself.

The 48 Hours show must be why the Judge warned the duhfense about an Orange County jury possibility and why he is going to allow them to present argument on Friday.  IMO, it's like  the old cat and mouse routine for the Judge as the cat and Baez as the rat mouse.  How long before the cat tires of toying with this particular mouse.  It's quite possible that the rat mouse is going to find out on Friday  ::MonkeyCool::.

Casey Anthony prosecutor Jeff Ashton filed a motion in court today to prohibit any reference to or mention of the findings of two mental health experts for the defense.

The motion involves Dr. Jeffrey Danziger and Dr. William Weitz. Their reports were provided to the prosecution late last month, but have not been released publicly.

Ashton's pleading states the doctors' reports and a motion to add them as witnesses "reveal that the testimony does not relate to a legal defense to any of the charges contained in the indictment."

Casey Anthony prosecutor Jeff Ashton filed a motion in court today to prohibit any reference to or mention of the findings of two mental health experts for the defense.

The motion involves Dr. Jeffrey Danziger and Dr. William Weitz. Their reports were provided to the prosecution late last month, but have not been released publicly.

Ashton's pleading states the doctors' reports and a motion to add them as witnesses "reveal that the testimony does not relate to a legal defense to any of the charges contained in the indictment."

Prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony say her lawyers want to use a defense strategy that’s not legal. The defense wants to tell Casey's side of the story, through two mental health experts, who would testify about Casey's state of mind. But prosecutors say Casey would have to take the witness stand before that could happen. According to prosecutors, the new defense experts are basing their opinions only on what Casey has told them. So even if she were to take the witness stand, their opinions still might not be admissible. Last month, the defense listed two new mental health experts it wants to call to testify about Casey Anthony's state of mind. The judge hasn't decided whether to allow it. Prosecutors have the experts' reports, and have started to question them under oath, but late Tuesday the prosecution filed a motion asking the judge to bar all discussion of their possible testimony during the trial unless Casey takes the stand in her own defense. The defense experts have not tested Casey or done any investigation into whatever she's told them. If Casey does testify, prosecutors then want the judge to listen to the defense experts' proposed testimonies without the jury present to determine whether their testimony is admissible. WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer believes the defense was trying to get its experts to tell Casey's story without having to put her on the stand and face tough cross examination by prosecutors. Sheaffer said, “The prosecutors are right on. They recognize what the defense was trying to do and shut it down before it even gets started.” Prosecutors are scheduled to continue deposing these new defense witnesses tomorrow. Casey is accused of murdering her daughter Caylee, stuffing the child's body in her trunk, taking it to woods near their house and dumping it there. The body was found four months later.

I think the odds are even that George and Cindy will see the photos. I'm not sure they'll stay in the courtroom for them. Casey, on the other hand, will have a harder time avoiding them. She'd have to have a whole box of pens and a case of coloring books to scribble enough to keep her busy at the lawyer's table. Besides, I figure Baez will coach her to cry at the sight. JMO.

They weren't looking for 15 minutes of fame, but the cameras found them and stayed on them. The neighbors of Casey Anthony’s parents were thrust into the spotlight simply because of their address.

During the summer of 2008, many in the neighborhood said they were prisoners in their own homes.

Now, nearly three years later it's still a very sensitive issue.

They didn't ask for helicopters flying overhead all hours of the day.  Or for the constant traffic of people wanting to get a closer look.  And they certainly didn't ask for all the protesters who moved in and who they say wouldn't move out.

After Caylee Anthony's remains were found, the east Orange County neighborhood tried picking up the pieces.

They patched up their yards, and many vowed to stand by their neighbors, George and Cindy Anthony.

But what they went through isn't quite yet a distant memory.

Yeah, Capp.......... I was just trying to figure out what they could come up with that isn't a psychiatric diagnosis, but all of those are in the DSM. For a Physical rationale, they would have to do more than just interview her, and that wouldn't be their area of expertise anyway.

Go figure.

Some stuff is sub-clinical and people can exhibit "traits or characteristics" of disorders but that stuff wouldn't rise to the level of being a defense. I just have no idea. Perhaps they could testify to family dynamics as described by Casey, that may result in some symptoms of various disorders, but so what?

I just don't get what they could possibly say, with the retsrictions of not being anything recognized by the APA, that would make a difference for her. Maybe they just want their testimony in to let the jury hear that Casey lived in pure Hell because of her family, and try to work up a little sympathy for her.   :roll:

We need someone to star as Casey Anthony that has been Arrested for murdering her daughter Caylee. The Caylee part needs to be played by a brave little girl between the ages of 3-6 years old, that has brown hair and green eyes. Local 6 legal analyst Mark O'Mara said the defense will have to show the testimony is relevant.

"It's going to be tough for them to carry that burden, to get that evidence in," O'Mara said. "If she testifies, then it becomes much more relevant. then, maybe, they can present testimony concerning state of mind, what she was thinking, why she was acting this way."

Ashton said in his motion that the defense experts have not diagnosed Anthony "as suffering from any recognized clinical or personality disorders." The state plans to use Anthony's sometimes carefree behavior in June and July 2008 against her.

O'Mara said only after Anthony testified could Perry properly decide what is and is not relevant for the mental health experts to testify about.

It will not be known if Anthony will testify in her own defense until several weeks into the trial.

Caylee was reported missing in July 2008. Her remains were found in an east Orange County wooded area in December 2008.

I believe them to be one of the smartest bloggers on this case, but the DNA results which were posted said NOTHING about George or Lee not being the father.(particularly George) I tried more than once to explain how they still could be but is seems as if hinkymeter was determined the person who analyzed it was right and  that was the way it was.

All this hype about 48 hours weeks before the trial, all the media interviews and press conferences the defense team has participated in since this circus began and they're going to cry foul?  It would serve Casey and her circus clowns right, if Judge Perry said...in order to save the good taxpayers of Florida anymore unecessary expenses, and as a result of the defense teams media whore tour, the jury will be selected from the community of Orlando and Orange County.

Hold on to your hats, another motion has been filed. WFTV just did a story on the 5 pm news about a new motion, filed today by the defense. Basically it says that if the judge decided to let the State examine KC, the defense is going to withdraw their doctor's reports. so rather than let someone from the state examine KC, the defense has decided they don't want their doctors testifying in the guilt phase of the trial.

If I read that correctly, they are now saying they "may" want an expert in this to testify about how it can affect someone. WHAT???  They need to be locked up in the loony bin.

CORRECTION    I got myself confused....diary of days did not have the "Why do people kill people who kill..." cartoon image. That image was saved to a folder on 7/2/08.....then Cindy's myspace post on 7/3/08....then in response, on 7/8/08, Casey posted the Diary of Days....On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken Trust no one, only yourself. I am certainly not smart enough myself, but my sister-in-law is one of the leading DNA experts in the country and she said that chart DID NOT exclude them and there were better ways to test family DNA which she bet the FBI had used but not released yet since it was a murder trial.

I hate to say " I told you so" but I disputed hinkymeter's findings on the DNA from the beginning. I believe them to be one of the smartest bloggers on this case, but the DNA results which were posted said NOTHING about George or Lee not being the father.(particularly George) I tried more than once to explain how they still could be but is seems as if hinkymeter was determined the person who analyzed it was right and  that was the way it was.

I definitely am not watching this job of a show, and I hope that a ton of other people will not watch it either.

I think I remember reading that one was ruled out and that there was no definite answer on the other.  But I can't remember if it was Lee or G.

Jarvis also weighed in on attorneys talking to the media.

“Lawyers talk too much. They really do, they just do,” he said. “Some lawyers do it on purpose because they are publicity hounds. I tell lawyers never talk to the media. You can inadvertently slip up. In these high-profile cases, it’s hard to remember what has already come out, what does the public know, what is still a client secret.”

Also in “48 Hours Mystery,” Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi weighs in on the Anthony case.

“I was shocked they would go to someone so far removed from the case,” said Bill Sheaffer, WFTV-Channel 9’s legal analyst.

But there’s an ethical issue here as well, as WKMG-Channel 6’s Tony Pipitone pointed out in a report: Bondi’s office would oppose an appeal if Anthony is convicted.

I still think Byass and Co have no defense in mind ... or at least any defense that could adequately quell the evidence the prosecution is going to present.

That old saying "give them enough rope and they will hang themselves" certainly applies to the Anthonys. The state could not charge them prior to the trial or they could take the 5th thoughout the trial, but after it is over I really expect charges for obstruction of justice and in reality of the state wanted to go really tough, they could charge a LOT of people under the R.I.C.O. Act. I think those would end up in federal court. Those are VERY serious charges and I do know there have been a lot of investigations into the "donations" and the structure of the so called charities so this may be what is coming after the trial.

I hope you're right and I would love to see Cindy get her comeuppance.  However, the only crime which doesn't have a statute of limitations is murder.  While I truly believe that George and Cindy, especially Cindy, tampered with evidence, hindered an investigation, lied to LE, etc.  Those crimes have a statute of limitations which has likely run out.  And tampering, etc. was not ongoing--it happened shortly after Caylee was reported missing.  I don't know about R.I.C.O.  Doesn't that deal with organized crime?Perhaps there was a criminal conspiracy, but the statute of limitations.........  However, thinking it over, you are likely right about their taking the fifth had they been charged prior to Casey's trial.  So I hope that they can be charged with something when the trial is over, even at that late date.

Yes, he'll have to because Casey is indigent dontcha know & won't be working another day in her despicable life.  They did further the slander themselves....maybe that will force them to sell their home.

He should be in major hot water for bringing in a jury consultant that spoke with Casey & then after it was ruled that they could not hire a jury consultant to go on air for their defense slanted-jury tainting-blood money grubbing TV special.
