I commend anyone who gets out in the field and searches for the missing.  They have big hearts and their help is enormous to the police departments.  I do not believe that all searchers are privy to what goes on inside an investigation anymore than the general public is.  I do believe a lot of the contradictions can be explained by the two agencies involved and how each one interprets findings.  I know about the good ole boy network that is prevalent in the South (probably everywhere for that matter--by the way I am a true blue Southern) can and will find egos getting in their way and they do not like to be overshadowed by an outside agency.  I think this is what is happening here therefore the contradictions.  JMO

JMO but Holly's boyfriend that her brother thought was with his sister that morning does not look anywhere near 200 or 220 lbs.  I would think there is a big difference in his weight and this reported 200-220 lbs.

Local businesses offer support to missing student's family


PARSONS, Tenn. – As the search continues for a missing west Tennessee nursing student, several business owners are placing words of encouragement on their signs and hanging pink ribbons in support of the family.

Holly Bobo was last seen at her Parsons home on the morning of April 13 being led away by a man wearing camouflage.

Bill's Men's Shop in west Tennessee is just one business offering support to the Bobo family.

On the business' sign a message reminds the community to continue praying for the missing student with a pink ribbon hung nearby.

"[It's] something you never think of happening in Parsons," owner Donna Box said, adding, "It's just unreal. It still seems almost unreal."

Box, like many in the small town know the Bobo family.

"[They're] a good family, just never thought something like this could happen," she said.

James Duke is the owner of Parsons Dairy Barn. He told Nashville's News 2 Bobo's disappearance has been unsettling to the whole community.

"It's unsettling to everybody. We don't know if it's someone from here or if it's someone not from here," he said.

Williamson County Sheriff Jeff Long went with them. The deputies covered almost 9 miles on foot in rugged terrain.

The reward for information leading to Holly's location stands at $80,000.

Thursday is the National Day of Prayer. Students in Parsons area schools will be wearing Holly Bobo t-shirts and releasing pink balloons to show their support for the Parsons family.

Dont hear much about hunting turkey with bow anymore, usually a gun.... the area around her house is so dense you cant see someone 10 feet away from you in areas, it took searchers hours to get through.. I wish you would really stop about clint... He was interviewed by the best for over 13 hours, he did not do this!! Several "boys" have been taken in several different times, and still nothing... if you are looking at the front of the house from what i understand from searchers etc... is that she was taken into the woods on the left hand side behind the house... Her Mom and Dad are very well known and liked people, They are in just horrible shape as im sure any of us would be if it was our child, but for the record I myself have seen them out in fields and on the sides of the roads etc... searching!!! say what you want to but barking up the family's tree is Wrong!!!

Thank you!  Its just so odd.  I cant figure out if it is just some weirdo freak that took her or if there is something shady going on in this little town.  When you read the stuff on topix  (as you noted above), the locals seem to point to some inside conspiracy and corrupt cops.  Im not sure if its just that small towns breed alot of rumors or if there is something to it.  Look at how many times there were rumors on the facebook pages for Bring Holly Home or whatever it is. 
As stranger grabbing a young girl and killing her does happen, I just cant decide which way this case is going.  One thing for sure..I hope it doesn't turn in to a cold case, that would be heartbreaking.

I have yet to read anywhere that this 39 year-old resident of Holladay, TN. has a solid alibi. Does anyone know more?

TBI's Kristen Helm said, "There has been no connection made to Nickell in the Holly Lynn Bobo disappearance." This doesn't mean a connection does not exist ... just that one has yet to be found.

Most of you will probably recall that Nickell, a registered sex offender in nearby Benton County, was arrested by the Jackson Police after allegedly stalking two teenage girls on separate occasions in Madison County.

During a bond hearing April 20 his attorney asked that his bond amount remain the same - $75,000 - but Judge Blake Anderson raised his bond to $300,000.

Maybe this is why LE had no problem with the volunteers safety searching if they has strong suspicions the suspect was in jail

First off these Sex offenders should not be out walking around. Keep them in Jail.
They belong there. Second if he did this im sure they have some ideabut dont change the  description of the perp to match someone you seem to have in custody...esp when ya have ppl saying there may be a cover up here  blame and convict the guy if he did it but if he didnt fing the guy that did..

Clint was interviewed for 13 hours not because of what we sometimes see on crime shows, he was interviewed at length because he would be one of the best people to shed some light on Holly's friends and associates, and backgrounds of same.

Very small community, very long-term family and friend connections make this investigation all the more difficult.

In addition, I am not sure if anyone covered this, but the car port where Holly's car was located is at the rear of the residence and depending upon one's vantage point, partially obstructs the view from the window of this ranch home.

His "eyewitness" account was grossly limited to floor level and best guess 25 yards+.

Then why was the description altered? Why has that changed after 3 weeks?
I just dont understand that. To much has changed  and it all seems very strange if ya ask me..

I just checked her twitter and she did post towards the end of April, about a week ago about Holly.  My guess is that her life continues to an extent and she's likely very busy as well.

Eileen - reporters are more often the ones who change the description rather than the witnesses.  Reporters wanting a more sensational article or editorial often exaggerate.  I know years and years ago I was interviewed after a trial and my words were twisted in a way I didn't recognize them as my words.

Why have they not asked ppl in other states to display her pic?
I dont think this is going to have a good outcome and i think LE is aware of that this is why they are focusing on a perp.

It is very common for suspect descriptions to change as an investigation progresses and leads are run down.

Thanks Blink.  With Clint's limited view from his window I expect what he saw was for a very brief period.  Perhaps not long enough for a good description other than the camoflage clothing.  Further to that, he had nothing, at that point in time to be suspiscious of.

Another thing I'd like to mention....Camoflage clothing is not form fitting...as a matter of fact, most I have seen is larger than regular fitting clothes.  It is possible the person may not be quite as heavy, but just appears that way because of the clothing.

And I agree - Clint had no reason to "study" this person.  I cannot imagine the guilt he feels.  So many If Onlys....

Anyone know if Hollys car was in the front or back of the home and also did she exit the front i have seen a front door and dont know if they have a back door.

Im having a hard time with all the discreptencies! However ya speel it LOL
first off with camo it is not tight fitting clothng it hangs very loose on the body
hard to tell what a persons weight is sure Height ya can tell esp when ya know Holly's height or how tall he was against the tree line but to go up another 20 pounds  i just dont get it.  I know u say  things change in an investigation but 3 weeks later they change a description of the guy.

If Clint thought it was her BF hes far from 220 pounds!  and looks to me like 5'8" maybe
5'9"....

Food for thought..... Maybe they do have a suspect and are changing the description to put a little more pressure on him.  A little bit at a time to make him feel like they are closing in on  him.... It will be interesting to see if they release a little bit more info on him in the next few days.

It is a generic description though.....Probably a majority of the men in that town fit the description.  Who knows?

I dont think they can just change a description to fit a poi  and i guess depending on how tall you are or how short would determine if the person was stocky or fit!

If your 6'1'' and 220 pounds your slimmer then a person 5'8" 220 lbs. who could be considered stocky so which is it pick one lol

Bottom Line

Drew isn't close to 6' 1" in height.  His weight is nowhere near 220'.  How could Clint have got it so wrong?  This guy is not a child ... he is 25 years old.

Yes.  For example, if a bank is robbed, they ask someone who saw the perp for points of reference.  They may have asked him how far up the tree did the top of his head reach or ask more specific questions to get a more accurate description.  Believe it or not, eye witnesses have terrible recall, circumstantial evidence is actually better.

It could be something but it also could do with flooding as well.

Every now and then I catch a glimpse of the meter reader as he passes the front window to look at the meter on the side of the house.  He's only feet from the window but I can tell you that beyond knowing he has gray hair, cap, and neon vest, I wouldn't have any idea how to describe him.  I notice when I see him and look to make sure its the meter guy, but beyond that I just don't pay attention. 

True that about the meter reader. I do notice who my kids are with tho.
Kids today have a better memory and remember things so much better because of
VIDEO GAMES! They tend to notice more.
They did studies on this and DRs that played gAMES  were better surgeons cause of the hand eye coordination... Imagine that!

  Anyway, I also think Clint formed a presumptive opinion that person with Holly was her boyfriend, since saw no reason for suspicion at that time. 
Maybe during the 13 hours of questioning he was asked questions to help elicit height, etc.
I remember years ago when someone tried to grab a child in our neighborhood, kids that witnessed it were asked questions such as:  "Was he taller/larger etc.  than your Father, brother" etc. in an attempt to get an approx. height.

hindsight is 20/20..I am sure if Clint thought that Holly was in any danger, he would have paid more attention to who Holly was talking to..Holly is not a child where a parent/adult would be glued to a window if someone was talking to her. They thought that they lived in a safe community and had nothing to fear. Holly had no enemies that we knew of. No reason for Clint to be alarmed. He probably noticed her speaking with this guy, thought at first glance that it was the bf and probably went about his business of what ever he was doing and getting on with his morning. jmo..for this abductor to be so bold as to come right up to her house tells me that it was someone who she knew and maybe was not afraid of him..

I don't see the discrepancies being *that* great with regard to the height and weight, especially considering Blink posted that Clint was at least 25 yards away. 

I agree.  And I also agree about the point someone made earlier about camo clothing.  It doesn't always fit to the body, and it could be difficult to correctly guess someone's weight when they're wearing it imo.  I also know from experience with my sons that two young men that "look" approximately the same height and weight could actually differ in weight 20+ pounds depending on how much weight training they do and/or how muscular they are.

She is getting hit with several different ugly comments by individuals that rather be nasty & negative than productive or supportive on her FB and Twitter.   Several comments have been regularly removed from her FB page.  They've ranged from accusations regarding her cousin, to herself using this situation to advance her career & other things.   It is apparent that she is rather frustrated & hurt by them...as most anyone would.  Her last FB comment was around the same time as well, the 29th/30th of April.  Regardless of whatever any individual's speculation or perception on any given situation is, the cruelty of personally attacking a person when they've done nothing overtly to warrant the negativity goes beyond the pale.

It is my contention that the orginal description that Clint provided of the alleged abductor ... the original description stated in the April 13th TBI Media Release ... conforms to the size of Holly's boyfriend.

Why did the description change ... a description that implies there is no way Clint could have assumed the alleged abductor was was Drew Scott?

When I consider all the Law Enforcement agencies who responded to Clint's 911 call on April 13th ... it makes sense that the original account ..."drug across the carport" ... revealed on TBI's April 13th Media Release is what caused all the activity ... not a small amount of blood that was deemed by TBI not to be life threatening ... not walking into the woods with a longtime boyfriend.

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. - A massive search is underway for a missing Decatur County woman. Investigators believe 20-year-old Holly Bobo was abducted from her home on Wednesday morning.

Investigators said it happened on Swan Johnson Road in Darden around 7:30 a.m. Her brother told police that a man wearing camouflage grabbed the young woman, dragged her across her carport and pulled her into some nearby woods.

Authorities said Holly Bobo was on her way to school. She is a student at the UT Martin campus.

Authorities are now searching the area. The sheriff said they've been searching a five mile square radius on the ground and by air, but have yet to come up with anything.

Hundreds of people from the community have come out to help in the effort. 

Volunteers have been out on horseback, on four wheelers, even on foot doing all they can to find this young woman.

YW, I feel ya on that LOL....the "close family friend" may very well be Kevin Bromley, the family spokesperson but I'm not sure.  I went to her website versus Facebook page & it didnt have an "upcoming" for tonight's show.

Her parents attended two of five of the prayer services today held in the community.   One was at the Scott Hills Elementary school where Mrs. Bobo works & the other was at the middle school but they remained in the hallway.

They were also at church last Sunday, and unfortunately, were overcome with grief and had to helped out.

I swear some days, I will never understand the ability of some to be pure evil to the undeserving.

Very interesting....

If there was some sort of "accident" it must have been off road and occured on private property, or there would be some sort of police report. I can see where if someone drove a "car" down old abandoned roads and/or narrow trails through wooded areas, especially at more than a crawl, it could cause substantial damage to a vehicle. Given that this situation was called in as a tip with regards to Holly's disappearance, it could have some merit...guess we'll have to wait and see.

I have no idea....and keep wondering myself.  I have asked the question, and not heard answers.  I have heard the rumor that there was an exboyfriend with a recent restraining order.....but no confirrmation or any other info on this

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director Mark Gwyn said Monday that there's no "person of interest" in the case, which has rocked largely rural Decatur County since 20-year-old Holly Bobo went missing Wednesday.

The last thing ANY case needs is someone immature enough to attempt to take out what could be considered their personal competition to make themselves look more reliable or whatever the author's goal was.   Its also a disservice to this case or any other to make petty comparisons only to cause pot stirring crap.   If someone is willing to do this to an individual or group it doesnt speak well for the accuser. 

The only thing I would agree with in this otherwise ridiculous & useless smear spout was complimenting Blink.  The very person that this blogger defended to some extent is someone that people right here on this forum & elsewhere have called into question due to his record & current arrest so what was the point to that?  If someone puts something out there in the way of information from sources that is later found not to be credible or never confirmed at the appropriate time then that will be on them & until then who is anyone else to say otherwise without any "evidence" to back up a personal attack upon another?   IMHO, the article reads as opinionated vindicative trash, not a service to this case or public in general  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Does anyone have any more info on Blake?  I have heard it mentioned that there was an ex boyfriend, or 2nd ex (still not clear if Drew was a current or ex)...and that there might have been a restraining order against an ex.  From the looks of his facebook page, he wasnt in the best mood the days before Holly disappeared, and he also looks to be friends with Derek Scott (Drew's brother)......

Drew is her current boyfriend.   Blake is friends with Derek, yes. 

Is Blake an ex of Holly?  Does Holly have an ex that she got a restraining order against?

Are we allowed to post other info on BB and his family at this point? 

Could it be that Holly was privy to some information or saw something that others did not want her to see or know?  An example might be something to do with drugs, and the like?  Just curious - no specific knowledge that I have. ( Trying to think like a young, impressionable, immature male.)

I have to say that Holly, Drew, Clint and Blake all look clean cut and like nice kids to me. 

I thought the same.  Clean cut, recent high grads just doing the college thing and living their ordinary lives.

The buzz on internet is Blake is cousins with Jake Myracle (from prominent family that built Parsons). Also that 3 friends are involved in taking Holly (NOT saying any of these guys are) just that they are mentioned A lot. One by last name of Dodd, never a first name but I've seen it around. Do you know if any of this rings true or more rumors? I have read from different sites people saying they know the Bobo family and One guy involved is feminine wants to fit in and his family knows he's involved. And he has some mental issues that is a neighbor of Bobos?
   I read the same story on topix comment section and violation.

It is very weird Blake has a pic of him and Holly but does not mention her. And odd Derek is friends with him. Unless he's trying to get info?

I'll speak for myself I think it is inappropriate considering there is nothing indicating they should be called into question nor have previous criminal records OR have been named as persons of interest that LE is speaking to.   If it were me that were friends with parties involved in a case such as this & I had no involvement whatsoever I would be furious if random people just plastered my personal & family info all over the place, especially with an implication in mind.

Case in point,  Im on Derek's page too

although LE has POI's they will not release info. I am sure it is because they are trying to build a case. If I were told here NOT to post about anything re this case that was brought up I would not. I mentioned because it is connected to what someone else posts I will not.  I do not think the bobos or scotts are invloved.  One can only speculate on what is said out there.

 So if we are NOT allowed to discuss what is said (bad things re Blake) on other sites which I did not post.. then ok. The people posting it as facts however can be sued I know this for a fact.

We can post as rumors, and I have on occasion posted something said elsewhere as "rumor."   I'm just saying that I personally am cautious about extending it further & without something more concrete than a rumor I wouldnt post other individuals personal or family info....again, that's just me not a rule.

Maybe it's just me..but those two descritptions aren't that different considering the man was at a distance, wearing camo gear.  I mean 5'8" to 6' vs 5'10" to 6'1"..just isn't a big difference..and 200lbs vs 200-220?  That just isn't that much of a difference when your talking viewing someone from a distance. 

Star, in speaking to people while there & since none of this was the topic of discussion.   I do not think it is weird that friends are putting up pictures of Holly or themselves with Holly, Ive seen a few of her female friends/acquaintances doing the same on FB.   Did the rumor mill turn Todd to Dodd?  OMG, people are even gossiping about a guy being feminine & somehow associating that he wants to fit in so badly that he would do something like this, no even if that was apparent that wouldnt be the reason a person would bring themselves to do that more than a deeper underlying psychological issue.  Is that rumor being said to indicate that anyone beyond a heterosexual orientation is capable of abduction, even murder?   Unless something more specific comes out from LE I think that particular rumor appears reckless & prejudicial.   I'm not saying its not possible but right now it just appears as ugly talk. 

While I feel that LE needs to follow every lead & talk to everyone that knows Holly & her family, at the same time that doesnt necessarily mean that they all fall into the category of becoming persons of interest (not a legal term) or suspects.  Please do not misunderstand my comment as dismissing possibilities, all I'm saying is there is no confirmed merit to what can only be deemed as gossip at the moment.

All I'm seeing on this topix thread is gossip & some of it potentially being very harmful to individuals.   I wouldnt be surprised if quite a few families retain an attorney to deal with how harmfully they are being gossiped about or harassed.   Again, this is just my own personal opinion & never intended to sound curt, inconsiderate of other's opinions or any other negative intention.

Even after Holly went missing things were not going to good for him i did see he was talking to Derek but that seems to have ended.  He actually sounded suicidal to me.

  I am not one to spread rumors at all. I used to be tied to alot of sources myself in other cases but not anymore as they got too deep for me to handle honestly. I like Facts only, dont like talking bad about anyone or getting it strung along or turned into something else. This case really breaks my heart and I hope they find Holly Alive. I hope you understand I am very curious as to if the rumors are true about the few individuals and what all was said. That gives me more hope she may be alive other than if Nickells took her than she would not be. I dont know what the truth is... But Im sure everyone wants to know what kind of hope to hold onto. I hope she is found and those responsible are convicted to the highest degree & that ties they MAY have ~ do not get them off so easily.

Nothing for nothing its clear that he and others are tired of people gossiping & I make statements like "kill me now" in gist at times when I'm having a bad day or dealing with something ridiculous absorbing too much of time or concern...its just a phrase.   If there were several comments of that nature or something significant attached to it  then it might raise a red flag...IMHO not seeing it.

I do believe its not too farfetched for someone to get the Dodd name correct- not rumors and gossip changing to dodd from todd. But could be you never know.

However there is a Dodd Family in Parsons.

One named Andrew Dodd 19 yrs Swinger from parsons- looks like hes in GA now- his friends are tied to Holly- Jon Dodd- Barbie Hickerson- Blake Hickerson who had problems from LE re his facebook Notes bad mouthing them.seems he is in AL or maybe not-

As you said, since LE has stated that it is someone in the community, familiar with the family....and they have made it clear that (at least publicly) nobody has been cleared, then I agree that everyone should be looked at. 

Im sure LE knows who is involved, but most of us do not know that information.....so in an effort to look at clues and try to figure things out (I think that is why many of us are here....) we will of course mention, bring up or ask questions about individuals that are in the community and know Holly.

I dont think it is accusatory or starting rumors....and I would hope every male in that community would expect to be looked at on some level....and know it is just what needs to be done in order to rule people out and identify the real perp(s). 

Still not sure if there was an ex with a RO out...and if so, who that is......

And....the more I think about this case...the more I feel like it's from the Twilight Zone.

It starts out as the abduction of a pretty young girl in a small town......and early on it seems that LE knows who it is, but perhaps the person is from a prominent family, or for some reason people just cant come out and say who it is, EVEN THOUGH LE HAS MADE IT CLEAR it is most likely someone in the community.....kinda creepy.....

and then.....it's like even on forums, the hush, hush "dont upset somebody" tone begins to set in......people becoming very protective, sensitive to names even being mentioned, as someone might get their feelings hurt....

very strange.  In every other case, you discuss all subjects......and as I mentioned above, everyone in that town should just expect to be looked at, until someone has been arrested and charged.   

Getting really creeped out by the insistance not to mention names or ask questions about people......

As far as speculations or suspicions we all know that isnt true, if we're being honest its all over the internet what people are speculating & a few expressing specifically who they think may be involved.   

Marina, I respectfully disagree that the entire community should be willing & expect strangers on the internet to be looking into each of their private lives publicly.   Even for some information that is public record, it can be considered invasive to some law abiding individuals to see it being copied on to forums, blogs, FB pages, etc.  Even if the intent is not to be accusatory, given the situation that is most likely how an individual would take it seeing their life being dissected publicly.  IMHO, criminals dont deserve that courtesy, had to make that distinction.  Now, as a concerned citizen in a community facing similar circumstances I would anticipate everyone being willing to cooperate with law enforcement but that is an entirely different thing.  l only stated that I personally draw a line which by all means can differ from another's.    I hold on to something until there may be a substantial reason to connect something to an individual or they are named in the case whether it by LE or by their own desire to speak publicly.   If I feel that something comes to light that has substantial significance it gets called in to LE as a tip.  Its not to say I wouldnt possibly comment on something someone else brings forward either, its just a weighed decision I make before posting personal information, by that I mean personal information other than what that individual places or states on a publicly viewed social network page, forum, blog, etc.

i strongly agree about Jason E Nickell. I have not been able to find any solid info on him. On USpeople search, towns from West Virginia to Texas come up where he supposedly lived . Thanks for the clarification.  Yes, we will have to respectfully disagree.  While I realize nobody likes to have their name thrown into the mix re: suspicions in a case such as this.....I would hope their primary concern is that Holly is found.  Since nobody has been ruled out, as long as  people arent making outright accusations.....I think it is fair (and wise) to look at all possibilities.

Things that make you go hmmm...Wonder if anyone asked what specifically they witnessed, how did they obtain the sample for DNA,  curious what the answer would be.    In all my years I have never heard of any LE taking a DNA sample of an individual in front of a crowd.  Here is a general guideline:

Capp, I'm responding to post above re DNA. I read through that link and it said 2 individuals were swabed. If LE ask anyone to take a test they can set it up anywhere. If the person refuses they can, they can lawyer up. Sometimes LE can persuade young criminals into giving a sample as they will end up getting it in long run. Maybe these people online are so far into rumors its not true. I myself won't believe anything until confirmed. However I do believe that it is very possible LE could have taken dna and statements by now.

It's about an 8hr drive from Memphis TN to Manchester KY. Certainly not an impossible feat, and the fact that there was duct tape on the victim found in the KY pond and duct tape with blonde hair attached collected near the Bobo home makes one go hmmmm. Would be interesting to find out if any of the potential suspects (I realize LE has not named any) have family in the Machester KY area.

Adding to my post above. A SM member mentioned that many living in the Bobo community are long-distance truck drivers, making the possibilty of the KY body being Holly even more plausible...IMHO

A bit O/T from Holly, but.....I was thinking about it the other day.  It is so disturbing and horrifying that in almost every missing person case we follow, bodies other than the ones being looked for are found.  WTH...it is like bodies are are almost stacked up like cord wood in the hidden places all across this country.  It is so awful that there are so many missing and murdered that when one is found it is so frequently not the one being searched for.

In the last 24hours 2 bodies, that we know of, have been discovered in TN/KY. The one with duct tape in the Manchester KY pond and a body in the Cumberland River near Nashville. Both are somebody's child....so sad.

Allow me to play devils advocate for a moment.

While we have definitely discovered some strange (even disturbing) rumors/information about some of the young people we've found on Facebook and seen targeted as possible perpetrators, consider this.

As far as I know, there has yet to be anyone who has been able to reliably claim that any of these young people DID not have an alibi or whose whereabouts the morning Holly disappeared are being seriously questioned. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I'm not saying that TBI does not have this information. But I do find it interesting that the comments I've read on a half dozen blogs does not indicate definitively that "so and so" was unaccounted for on that morning.

One other thing, putting aside the possibility of drugs and/or diminished mental capacity let's not forget the incredible rage it would have taken to undertake such a heinous act by someone in Holly's peer group. Oh it may be drug-fueled or someone mentally ill. But do we really have reliable information to suggest this is the case.

All we seem to have is a rampant rumor mill fueled in part by bloggers and others who claim to have LE contacts. Sorry, but I am becoming increasingly skeptical and continue to entertain the possibility that it's at least as likely that this was a stranger abduction by a sexual  predator.

Just my two cents.

By the way, Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there - especially those who have lost someone to a crime or on the battlefields in Iraq or Afghanistan.

It just makes me really sad that this family may have no closure the more time goes by. I followed the Jennifer Kesse and Tara Grinstead cases also and the fact that those families never got closure is just so sad to me. I hate it for them.

Tammy Raimey, family friend appeared  via telephone on Jane Velez Mitchel "Issues" on HLN tonight, her main point was that both Clint and Drew are fine boys, raised right & going to school & there is no way they are involved.  Tammy also said that she doesnt think Clint ever said drag but poor wording by the TBI from the "very start."  Nothing new revealed in the case by LE.  Tammy claims that people arent pointing fingers but they are uncomfortable & wonders if Holly was the target or something the community needs to be concerned with.

Levi Page stated "police are in the process of naming persons of interest" and I wouldnt take that as a direct quote.   He also mentioned the "significant presence" search a week ago in Henderson County.

Ive been following this case since about a week after the abduction. Chad is your guy no doubt! Duck Farm? A person would need to buy shovels and digging hardware for a duck pond no? The blood I believe is from a turkey or bird as I have read that it was animal blood somewhere. A turkey that was hunted by someone who had permission to hunt on or near the property. Lets go back to the Duck Farm on Chads wall. I would again be checking for Holly at Alley Bluff Tennessee Wild Life Reserve. Ironically there is a Bobo Lane at the southern tip. I think there is a duck reserve or farm near by. They need to put the squeeze on Chad! Who did Chad go the concert with the night before? This would be a possible accomplice. This was a Friend of Clint's and it happened after Chad started comming over. I think Chad went to the concert, got drunk, and waited for her to leave the house. Holly was probably just nice to him a few times and he he began the obsession. Chad is your guy!!!!

Looks like Jon Dodd is posting on topix tryin to get people to stop pointing fingers at him.

What is particularly maddening (at least for me) is after nearly a month we still don't have a very clear-cut and persuasive argument as to what the real motive was.

Could it be someone local in her peer group who was acting out some irrational revenge or hatred?

Or, could it be a stranger abduction by a sexual predator?

We really don't know despite all the speculation and rumors - some coming from commenters who claim to have inside knowledge or contacts inside LE.

At least with the tragic 7-year-old Kyron Horman case in Oregon there seemed to be a clear-cut consensus as to who the perp was. But Holly's case seems to be wide open as far as I can tell.

If it is indeed him & he is innocent of any involvement who could blame him.

The tbi never once talked to me but yet because of the connections I have with the law I was able to contact the head of the case in FBI I was forced the talk to them and have them try to clear my name cause I was receiving death threats that required me to move back to parsons to protect my grandparents iv had people brake In to my house and but my family in danger and all over these crazy immature rumors... Iv donated DNA,scent swabs (required for the dogs they brought from FBI HQ),fingerprints and even took a polygraph test I don't nor did I ever have anything to do with all this it really sucks liven in a mob like comunity like this cause if one person says the smallest negative thing they are out to crucify without logical evidence ... I'm a well educated well respected father, boyfriend, and friend yet like anyone iv spent my time in trouble in my juvinille years more or less because I was hang in around the wrong croud ....but all that is beyond the point I'm trying to make all these rumors and pointing fingers is destroying my name and driven my family and friends in the dirt for no reason.... I know I can't stop all the talking but all I can ask is keep my little girl and my Gf out of your conversations there is absolutely no need for it .... New Find in Holly Bobo Disappearance

Holly Bobo, the 20-year-old nursing student led from her home on April 13th, is still missing as of 5/10/2011. Very little evidence has been found in the case since Easter weekend, until today.

The Holly Bobo Search and Rescue Team is a collective of private searchers as well as law enforcement officials in the Decatur County area. They report on their verified Facebook page that a new item has been found in the search for Holly Bobo. This item, a hotel key card, was found in the vicinity of another significant item. The significant item, still unnamed, is the one that was found on Easter weekend, allegedly.

According to the ground searcher source provided by the Holly Bobo SAR page, the hotel pass key was logged and bagged by a Tennessee State Patrolman. The SAR team is going to strive to make sure the hotel staff will be questioned. This is the first bit of evidence to be named by any sources since the discovery on Easter weekend. A lot of allegations are made by so-called Parsons and Darden, Tennessee locals as to what the item is that was found prior to this hotel pass card, but the TBI has not released details on the item.

Awww, that video.  :*(  Such a beautiful, lively young woman.  Praying so hard she's still with us.

Honestly, I'm not seeing the "cuteness" in that video everyone else is.

Watching it made me pretty uncomfortable, really.

The not-skinny not-blond friend is in back, so she can't really be seen.

The girl on the right comes across as very sexual and "polished", for lack of a better PG-rated term.

And HB looks incredibly distracted about something, possibly even upset, near the start of the video. She's not anywhere near as "into" doing that video as the other two are. Part of the time, she's looking at something outside the car that the other two don't seem to notice.

Interesting body language there, anyways. One would think the girl in the back would be the "odd one out", but body language suggests that HB is the one that feels that way.

Makes me curious about the dynamics of those friendships... and where it was filmed, and who, if anyone, was outside the car.

Perish the thought, but I would consider searching near the Bobo’s home and possibly other locations where they may have found anything belonging to Holly. Especially if it was in a secluded area where the perp would not have to park on a well traveled road.

Some might argue that the area surrounding the Bobo’s home is much too dense. But if a shallow grave was dug (e.g., prior to the abduction) wouldn’t it be in (or near) a clearing area?

I find it very telling that Holly's parents are not screaming at the top of their lungs about their daughter. I don't think at this point, I could be silent anymore if this was my beautiful daughter. Does LE even have anything to go on? The silence is just deafening.It just appears that this "cat and mouse" game that LE is playing is not working.

I understood early on that Holly's case was very different. Even here at scared monkeys, I think most of us read between the lines (that Holly was being held against her will) and held back info that we obtained by sleuthing early on.

But here we are almost a month later and still no Holly, no updates, no public suspects nothing......just speculation. I thought LE would have found a live Holly by now.....surely the patience of the parents and community is wearing thin by now.
