An amber alert has been issued for a missing 5 year old girl from Detroit.

Iyana Oldham was last seen with her mother's ex-boyfriend who police say threatened to kill her.

Iyana is 3' 6" tall, 40 lbs, black and has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dress with a white top and bottom with black and white polka dots.

Police believe she is with 33 year old Desmond Johnson who is 6' 1" and 160 lbs with black eyes and hair. He has a tattoo of a sun on his left arm and was last seen wearing a blue, orange and white baseball hat, black jacket, jeans and Nike shoes with green laces.

He was last seen in an older model trailblazer.

The FBI is now leading the search for a missing, endangered 5-year-old after Detroit Police issued an Amber Alert early Monday morning.

Police say Iyana Oldham was last seen on April 15 around 12:15 a.m. Police say Desmond Johnson is the ex-boyfriend of the child's mother and main suspect in Iyana's disappearance.

According to police, Johnson called the victim's mother and told her he was going to kill the child.

UPDATE: The Amber Alert for 5-year-old Iyana Oldham was issued early Monday morning. Detroit Police say the little girl was dropped off at the Sixth Precinct around 6:30 a.m. No word on who dropped her off, but police are still looking for the suspect in her disappearance.

UPDATE: Local 4 was there at 6:30 a.m. when a family member brought 5-year-old Iyana Oldham to a police station -- unharmed.

A woman who said she is Iyana's aunt told Local the girl was at a birthday party and accused the girl's mother of making a story up about her disappearance.

"This was blown out of proportion," the aunt said. "She was at my house, she had a party."
