It looks stupid, but it does not make him look like a criminal or the murderer.

He can claim he was very distraught and not thinking straight.

I have to agre with you.  George knew the minute he smelled it what it was and that's what Baez is trying to get at.  But that is what I don't understand...George and Cindy knew what it smelled like, yet didn't call the police.  They went back to work.

George kept his cool and said yes sir I think I am.  I swear the angels in heaven and Caylee are guiding George through this..any normal person would have freaking strangled Baez..how does he gaet away with this stuff?
