Just watched Mallory's testimony.  Having worked with abused/neglected kids in the past, I can say they tend to truly love their parents.  They usually won't come right out and tell what abuse they may've suffered at the hands of their parents because they either don't realize its abusive or they don't want to be taken away from their parents.  Just because Caylee was affectionate towards KC doesn't mean that KC had true maternal feelings toward Caylee.

All babies/children love their mamas...it's just plain natural...for Baez to constantly raise questions about whtether or not Caylee exhibited affection for her mama is just so mis-leading.

I totally agree...we have proof of that in my extended family.....it is sad to see at times.

Children all love their moms....Blowhole is asking the question @ssbackwards....he should be asking did it appear that KC sincerely loved Caylee.

Or even loved her at all??

Gas can was evidently in George's car

Old style, round, not conventional plastic one, seemed worn, no tape noticed

I could really see George doing this acting like this. Poor man in my mind has had to endure all of this with Cindy and Casey. He was probably embarrassed. So does this mean the car did in fact run out of gas and instead of Casey walking to the gas station next door she left her car for weeks.

Simon could see nothing inside the car that would suggest decomp odor. Simon suggested they open the trunk.

Simon and Geo were standing side by side when the trunk was open.  Odor got worse when trunk was opened and flies flew out.  Saw a normal white garbage bag.

That made no sense Mr. Simon If it smelled like a dead body why would you say you were going to dispose of whatever  was in the trunk

He said he knew the situation was already agitated and he did not want to agitate it anymore.

Here we go

Simon Burch suggested they open the trunk.  George had a key at this point.   Simon & George side by side at the trunk.   The odor that came out of the trunk was even more strong, a few flies, white standard kitchen garbage bag in trunk.   No recollection of any other items in trunk.

They looked in the bag to see if it was the source of the smell, drawstring pull bag & not sure if it was drawn & tied.  Simon recalls seeing a pizza box & papers, didnt recall amounts of food items, weight of bag was light.

Neither put their hands in the bag or shuffled things around.  Simon offered to dispose of it for George.

Simon didnt offer an opinion if the bag was the source of the smell.  Simon walked a short distance to the fence line & using left arm threw the bag over the fence.

This is Simon Birch he is the manager of the tow company. He has found and smelled dead bodies that have been left in cars. And also worked at waste management and knows the difference in smell and death.

George thanked him & then he got in the car and drove off.   At the gate George apologized for the inconvenience.   Cindy was there but she drove in another vehicle.  Simon went back to retrieve the garbage bag to put in the dumpster.
