George is on the stand, Jeff is questioning him.  Where was the notice found?  On the front door on Sunday, which they don't use, they use the garage drawer.  The notice was just for certified mail from Johnson, they didn't know what it was about.  The post office wasn't open Sunday, George couldn't go on Monday because he had job interview.  On Tuesday George went to the Post office and got the certified letter.  He then saw that it was from a towing company.  It said that the car was towed on June 30th, George was concerned because he thought Casey had the car and why didn't they know Casey didn't have the car.  Casey was supposed to have the car in Jacksonville, Florida.  George called Cindy and then went to the tow company.  He went alone first and they told him it was over 500 dollars and George was mad that they weren't notified sooner.  It was there for over 2 weeks and the tow yard was just a short distance away.  Cindy said she would come home and take George to get the car.  George brought a gas can with him because it was a common thing for him to bring gas to a car that had been left and towed.  They were very upset at the cost of the tow.  Mr Birch gave them a little discount just to get them out of there.  Cindy was being very, very vocal.  They paid and George was escorted out to the car.  George could smell the car from 3 feet away.  The odor reminded George of something he smelled, years prior and he was concerned.  You never forget that smell, George thought it could be his daughter or his grand daughter at the same time.  He was hoping that they weren't in the trunk dead.  He didn't want to believe what he was smelling.  The odor it reminded him from his past was that of a human corpse!!!!!  He had a set of keys with him.  When he got to the car, he checked it for damage.  He unlocked the car and opened the driver's side door, the odor was worse.  He saw no blood inside and that relieved him a bit.  The car would turn over but it was out of gas.  He went to the trunk and either whispered out loud or to himself, please don't let it be Casey or Caylee.  He found the bag, it had maggots, a Arm and Hammer container, a pizza box.  He hadn't touched the bag yet, it was partially opened.  Then Simon said this has to be the smell of your car and Simon threw it out.  Simon reached in and pulled out the bag and threw it over the fence.  George was relieved that no body was in the trunk.  George never touched the bag but he could see through the bag and saw a pizza box and the detergent container.  George and Simon went to his car, got gas and took gas back to the Pontiac.  When he got back to the car it was still very smelly, even though the bag was out.  He had to drive the car home with the windows down, he could of never of driven with them up.  He just wanted to get it home, he was very upset and concern that he didn't know where Casey and Caylee were.  Cindy followed him home, it was raining so he had to put it in the garage to air it out.  He opened the sun roof, all windows and the trunk.  George is the one that always maintained the car, washing, vacuuming, etc.  George noticed a stain in the trunk he had never seen before, a subtle stain about the size of a basketball.  He couldn't tell if it was a wet stain or a powdery one.  The car was messy inside, Jeff, laughs and says maybe by your standards.  Showing a picture of the inside of the Pontiac Sun fire, jury gets to see it.  Front seat picture shown, backseat picture shown. George says the cleanliness appears to be the same as he saw it.  George went to work shortly after because it was his new job.  Cindy said that she would try to get hold of Casey.  Jeff is done, subject to recall, recess for 15 min.

To me, it sounds like George himself did no cleaning of the car.  I think this is where Cindy becomes the car cleaner.

Just watched Mallory's testimony.  Having worked with abused/neglected kids in the past, I can say they tend to truly love their parents.  They usually won't come right out and tell what abuse they may've suffered at the hands of their parents because they either don't realize its abusive or they don't want to be taken away from their parents.  Just because Caylee was affectionate towards KC doesn't mean that KC had true maternal feelings toward Caylee.

All babies/children love their mamas...it's just plain natural...for Baez to constantly raise questions about whtether or not Caylee exhibited affection for her mama is just so mis-leading.

My sister worked for the juvenile court system and even abused kids love their parents so I hope the jury realizes this.

Caylee's car seat was so dirty.

 I noticed that too.. and worn out looking. Yikes. My little 2 yr old grandaughters carseat still looks brand new.. her mommy and daddy both have one seperate in their cars.. I have one.. My parents have one.. Paternal GP have one...
Poor Little Angel.. looks like someone picked it up dumpster diving.    I honestly had tears when I saw that photo.

Anyone have a good theory on exactly when the body was in the trunk and when Casey dumped the body on Suburban?

Could it be that on the afternoon of June 16th ... Caylee died from a drug overdose (chloroform) while her mother was at "work"?  The deceased baby was temporarily place inside the trunk.

Could it be that two days later Casey returned home while her parents were at work ... wrapped duct tape donning a sticker around the head of her deceased daughter in an attempt to stop the flow of body fluids ... placed Caylee wrapped in her Winnie the Pooh blanket in three plastic bags and ... buried her daughter in the back yard with a borrowed shovel?

Could it be that at a later date ... possibly with assistance (brother? boyfriend?) ... Casey retrieved a decomposing Caylee from the backyard of her parent's home ... the plastic bags leaking ... placed her in the trunk and ... took her to the location where the remains were discovered.

In other words ... Caylee's death was not intended but ... considering it was a result of wrongdoing ... a coverup happened ... not a call to 911

That is interesting Janet ... I've always thought Casey put Caylee to sleep in the trunk to spend that night of June 16 with Tony L and then discovered Caylee dead the next day. Perhaps she placed the body in the playhouse in the A's backyard for a brief period of time, borrowed the shovel, and then gave up on digging a hole. Bagged the body and drove around with it in her trunk for a couple of days before deciding to drop the remains on Suburban Drive ... but then again ONLY CASEY KNOWS!

ITA..and I believe they know she has been lying to everyone and has a heart of stone.....they just need to glance across the courtroom to see what she truly is...a heartless b!tch.

I really think this trial will be over in the next month..I agree with JP..the jurors will be home for their July vacation plans.  All Baez has is objections..he has no meat to back up his claims..and I think the jury is well aware by now this is lies coming from the b!tch and her defense team.
