Has anyone ever said whether the syringe had a needle attached?  Or just the syringe itself?

the reason I'm asking is that the duct tape that had covered Caylee's little face has one hole in it.  It makes me wonder if she didn't put the duct tape on to keep Caylee quiet, and then had a hole through which she used a syringe to give more chloroform to keep Caylee continuously dosed?  A syringe could effectively distribute chloroform into small spaces if there was no needle, including just soaking under the tap - no rag needed.

http://www.blingcheese.com/image/code/79/chloroform.htm

Picture above of syringe - you can see that the needle is still attached and the cover is over the needle.

The syringe was found in a Gatorade bottle - within in it's packaging and inside a toilet paper roll.

I hope no one ever has to go through my computer. I have done so many searches that would raise suspicions, such as the chloroform, personality disroder, google earth searches, etc
You can inject chloroform but it would most likely kill.

Yes it would..and the duct tape was to insure she would be dead if she had not used enough in the syringe.

Did she make the chloroform in the trunk..or maybe left the container in the trunk and it spilled or leaked out?

IDK..but we have a tunk liner with Chloroform, we have a Gatorade bottle with chloroform, we have a syringe with chloroform....and we have a dead toddler.

Was it ever established that the syringe came from Jesse's apartment? I dont remember that at all

Not to my knowledge.  It has been "assumed" that "could be" where it came from because KC made that strange trip to his apartment for a shower and she was in his bathroom AND that the syring, besides traces of chloroform, it also had traces of steriods in the needle.  The needle was used twice.

Other speculation was that possibly there was a needle in the home, because of Cindy being a nurse.

Most speculation was on Jesse's, though, because of the steroids.

Also, once wind of this was out, Jesse's dad went on a full-frontal attack and told the world that his son was being set up for Caylee's death.  Such a ridiculous thing, considering how much Jessee loved Caylee.

Yes, we haven't even gotten to the physical evidence yet.  It will be digusting to hear about all that - but necessary.

Yep.  And that trunk liner, IIRC, test resulted in traces of chloroform 10,000 times higher than normal test samples a lab uses.

As much of an irritant as Nancy Grace can be, I remember at the time this was made public knowledge, NG went on-and-on about the amount of chloroform and how this killed the baby!

We all have to remember that we are playing right into the defense's hand..They WANT us talking about the ACCIDENT in the pool..cause it's a plausible ideal but we SMART MONKEYS have to remember that this pool defense DOESN'T explain the Chloroform.  The Anthony's didn't use Chlorinated chemicals in their pool.

When we had a pool we used BROMINE;
Here is a listing of the common chemicals associated with swimming pool use: CHLORINE; CYANURIC ACID; BROMINE; ALTERNATIVES TO CHLORINE ...

Was the A's pool a salt water pool?
My parent's pool in the 1950's was a chlorinated chemical pool.

Tks so much Blonde.......I did look it up.Problems With the Swimming Pool Chemical Bromine...
http://www.ehow.com/way_5714639_problems-swimming-pool-chemical-bromine.html

Jmo I don't think whats in the pool would be bought up in trial.
tks again....

I think it will come into the trial at the evidence phase because during the Frye hearings IRRC Baez did say that a bathing suit left in the trunk would/could have caused the chlorofrom in the trunk...since the A's didn't use chorine in the pool no chloroform should have been on Caylee's suit or in the trunk.

Blonde - TY

I was just remember that a color photo showed the light brown liquid in the syringe (but didn't find a picture of it).

I'm the one that has been bringing up the notion that an attorney cannot lie or knowingly put his client on the stand to lie. I realize this is very difficult to prove as MOST attornies will instruct their client at the very first meeting to NEVER "tell" them if they really did it! I think in this case, Baez is really walking a thin line and seems to have concocted this story himself to attempt to explain wild circumstanses to loosely evolve around the evidence collected. I don't think casey is smart enough to fit all of this herself. What could eventually get Baez in trouble is vengeful casey actually throwing Baez under the bus upon her conviction. She will say: "It was all his own story -- not mine"! -- JMO

It was said on Judge Jeanine on Fox just a few minutes ago that GA & CA are suing JB for slander.

and an attorney on that show said that you can sue anyone, but that attorney statements made during a trial are "protected" and, therefore, it's very doubtful that a law suit would be doubtful it would be meritorious.

ITA with this attoreny..Baez would say that he was defending his client and in no way was in a position where he was required to prove the validity of tht statement other then his client's contention that it was in fact the truth.  Defense attorneys are not compelled to prove any statements they make in defense of their client..they're not compelled to prove the state wrong either..the burden of any proof of anything brought before the court is up to the State.

However Baez defense went too far ..it was too outlandish..which made it unbelievable..he should have stopped at it was a tragic accident that snowballed..and plead her out from there.

Yep.  Too far.  Like Mark NeJame said:  The opening statement was "SO bad"!

Has anyone found any lip readings of the other break that was taken @ 10:00 http://www.wftv.com/video/28059008/index.html  ?  At one point ICA is so pizzed she is flayling her pen through the air like a pirate with a sword against an imaginary opponent.  To me it looks like they are commenting about the jurors.

No idea.  Maybe one of them looked at her funny and she did not like it.  i guess she wants them not to look at her.

I swear, if this hobag is not found guilty, I am moving to Iraq or something.
Okay at the video mentioned above at the 10:30-10:32 mark it was about Juror number 4 who is that one again or do we know the Juror's number?  I can't make out anything else YET still working on it frame by frame.  Anyone else can piece together??  I know in the beginning she was talking to Bozo and said "Jose we have a problem" then can't make out the rest till the mark I indicated.

According to the FlaMom's links, #4 is the Farmville lady, right?

I hope this helps
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/caylee-anthony/os-casey-anthony-jury-bios,0,539793.photogallery

and this one
http://www.cfnews13.com/article/news/2011/may/247698/

Out of all the jurors..I think Farmville lady who can't judge, is probably having the hardest time imaginable listening to the opeing statements from Baez, then seeing Slore's many nightclub pics, then listening to this parade of men who had sex with Casey, then listening to the lying Casey did, the stealing.

I think she went from I can't judge to..Do respectable woman live like this?  She may have facial expressions that show unease, discomfort, and disapproval at what she is hearing..can't blame her one bit.

Judge Perry is an excellant judge of character..has to be after all these years on the bench and everything he has seen and heard..all the types of people that have entered his courtroom..he knew Farmville lady could do this..and I think he is right....she ain't liking Miss Casey very much right now..and the defense can not do a damn thing about that. Monkey Devil!

And just think...this is just week one....so many more weeks to go and so much physical evidence to cover.
