She was engaged to Jesse, his parents were helping care for Caylee.  It got to the point that Casey was taking extreme advantage of their kindness.   They approached Casey that she needed to care for Caylee more and/or get assistance...thus the "nanny" appeared but didnt exist

maybe Casey invented Zanny when she was leaving Caylee with whomever and that way it's just one person and not the many friends, jesse's family, etc. that were possibly actually watching her, that way Cindy couldn't complain that Caylee was passing through a lot of hands she didn't know. just a thought

Nah...I remember KC making a statement after Caylee's memorial and she was angry at the family for having cremated her...my thought at the time was, given Casey's penchant for stealing gas, if she wanted to cremate Caylee, she could have taken care of it herself....

I read this like you were kind of joking, but I did read somewhere early on during this case that it's not as easy to burn a body as one may think.  especially since the body is something like 80% water, more so in children.  maybe Casey tried to burn Caylee (reason why she took the gas cans?) and when it didn't work, she tossed her in the local woods/swamp down the street... a recent theory of my own...

I thought KC went to HS with a Jeff Hopkins, but he never worked at Universal, he didn't have a kid and he didn't have a trust fund. She borrowed the name...

gosh this family is all about the tangible objects.  I keep momentos of people here and there, but snuggling Caylee's teddy bear by Cindy and Casey's placing that heart sticker seem like they are both a little off in the same way to me.

The argument has not been asked about by Linda.  Cindy has been briefed to answer what she is being asked and that they have to introduce certain evidence at certain times for it not to get tossed.



Did I misunderstand, or didn't Ms. Drane Burdick ask her to describe the evening of June 15th?  If so, that to me doesn't mean selectively describe the evening, but describe the evening in total.  Maybe it's just me.

Cindy says she communicated daily with Casey either vm, text, phone, etc.  She said, "I *thought* I knew where she was".
