You know that is pretty much what they are thinking. How in the world are they going to believe anything Casey now has to say?  I just don't see it happening.

I think linda is making sure that the defense doesnt get a turn to question cindy.
this way the jury has all weekend to think about what they heard.

I just think, even though they are lies, Cindy keeps embellishing her answers trying to make Casey appear to be a good person.  JMO

Cindy is actually helping the defense.  She is repeating, in detail, what she believed (at that time) because Casey told her...demonstrating the extent of Caseys' lies to Cindy to conceal that Caylee was gone...the everchanging litany of excuses of why Cindy couldn't physically see Caylee.  The state has spent this past week buliding their case, detailing from every person Casey associated with that she spun numerous elaborate lies to hide Caylee's whereabouts. Cindy will not be responsible for Casey going down, Casey's own words will.

I don't believe it is helping the defense at all.

Not possible, IMO.  Those friends would have testified to having kept Caylee for Casey on those days and they did not.  They all relayed the same Nanny/babysitter story Casey fed them.

Nah...I remember KC making a statement after Caylee's memorial and she was angry at the family for having cremated her...my thought at the time was, given Casey's penchant for stealing gas, if she wanted to cremate Caylee, she could have taken care of it herself....

I read this like you were kind of joking, but I did read somewhere early on during this case that it's not as easy to burn a body as one may think.  especially since the body is something like 80% water, more so in children.  maybe Casey tried to burn Caylee (reason why she took the gas cans?) and when it didn't work, she tossed her in the local woods/swamp down the street... a recent theory of my own...

See that's what I wondered, too ... if maybe it was an option she was entertaining, maybe even tried but it didn't work like she thought, or made too much smoke, or she decided it might be too noticeable, or that she couldn't handle it.....

Good morning monkeys---

Cindy lied about the evening of June 15. We know that Shirley Plesea told Cindy about the money from the bank account at the lunch at Shirley's home.  We know about the fight Cindy had with Casey on that night, the one where Lee said Cindy tried to throttle Casey.  Cindy is still lying---Same ol' same ol'.

I don't think Cindy lied.  I don't think those questions were asked of Cindy.  Maybe Linda doesn't want to disclose it....or, more likely, Linda doesn't want to disclose is right now.

Linda is trying to lay the "foundation" right now, IMO, and will "fill-in" the foundation as time goes on.  This will not be the only time Cindy is on the stand.

Except Cindy said they had a very pleasant but emotional evening--the emotion was caused by seeing  what they thought might be the last pics of Mr. Pleasea.  That is not a truthful description of the evening.

The ex-fiancée of Casey Anthony alleged that she and her mother got into a big argument the night before Casey's daughter Caylee went missing.

Jesse Grund told Sherriff's investigators about the incident in documents released by the State Attorney's Office in late November, saying he learned of it from Casey's brother Lee Anthony.

"It got into a very heated argument, which turned physical and Cindy started choking Casey," Grund said, after a review of documents by Central Florida 13 news.

What is truly remarkable to me is how well Casey could lie on the fly.  Like, she didn't know for sure what questions her mother would ask at any given time, but she always had an answer.  I can't tell a good lie even if I have a lot of time to think it through!  lol  I am just amazed at her ability to lie.

Hopkins, Jeffrey Dale II   – Went to high school with Casey Anthony (graduated 2003). Had not seen her for years until beginning of July when he ran into her while they were eating with separate parties at the Orlando Ale House (631 North Alafaya Trail). They had a brief conversation and returned to their meals. He has never met Caylee Anthony and no idea why Casey had called his parent’s residence.
