REMEMBER: As an officer of the court, Baez CANNOT allow Casey to take the stand if he knows she will lie! Believe me -- her attornies KNOW she is a liar.

I don't think he pays much attention to what he can and can't do, he does what he pleases.  Reminds me of his client 

I understand that we all hate his antics in the court, but knowingly allowing his client to lie WILL get him disbarred.

In that case, there's NO WAY Baez can call KC to the stand.  I'm sure by now that Baez has discovered that KC has lied to him.
He has no Tony statement that George molested KC.  He has no Jesse statement that George molested KC.  There's NOTHING.
Ergo, Baez cannon fullfill his promises to the jury during his opening statement. 

Guess what....we're only 4.5 days into the trial.

this is the first week so anything can be said and done as we progress.
It is going to be to the states advantage .... Its in the bag for the state... so it seems.
I be the jury is going to hate this if baez with his inexperience drags this on. if they could they would prolly say ok judge we have made a decision... guilty...

Loca, I noticed you asked who I am earlier. I am someone that has been following the case and reading this blog for a long time now because I want Justice for Caylee. I have rarely posted until the trial. I also agree that it is in the bag for the pro's with the evidence they have and hope all the jurors will see past what the defense claim in thier opening statements.

Thank you so much for giving this info....I just kept wondering if he and KC could make up a story and expect it to fly.  I feel so much better knowing he cannot.

I am watching Tony's testimony now. I missed it this am. He went from cocky to hero in a few days. He has become very likeable and I hope the Ants realize it too. How odd for a mother of a missing child to comment about being in handcuffs in the back of the police car and taking a shower. She is so self absorbed. Any normal human would be crazy with worry for thier beloved child. The jury will see it too. I can hardly watch her anymore, she is disgusting

Oooo....I need a few opinions here, as Cindy left the court room she does a gesture with her hand at her nose (sort of like an Italian salute under the chin, if you feel me) Casey stares & then gets Simms & does a similar motion with her hand...the comment is very close to what you say "she did that to deliberately hurt me."   Tell me what you guys think.

Now, it even further appears that message of "six weeks ago" by Cindy was meant for Casey.  She then further goes to say something like "she always does this...." "she didnt...."and "three years and nothing" when she chops her hands she is saying "nothing"

I dont think she will take a plea yet! she is realy pissed right now and is thinking revenge! but turbo I agree there is something going on.. they went back there... all three of them.. thats her holding cell area isnt it?

It could also be about how they're going to handle the Lippman thing coming up on Tuesday.

Whenever KC departed from the courtroom this week I believe it was through the door further down on the right!  Simms had to stand up to let her pass each time.....

The room (door behind CM)  that she and Attnys went through today was one that Bozo had pointed at when JP asked where the files they seemed to continously need and not have on hand were stored?????

But remember, a court bailif would be with them at all times.

But would the bailiff actually go in the room or would he be required to stand outside the door because of attorney/client privilege?

The attorneys filed out with KC today and my guess is they were going to discuss Cindys testimony and what thier line of questioning will be. KC knows best how to get her goat.... I have to miss Tuesday morning to be with my dad.. he will be having a hip replacement.... I wish I had an ipad...

I remember the days that Cindy looked wistfully at KC, begging with her eyes for KC to look at her.  Cold, spiteful KC wouldn't do it.  You see how ridiculous her thinking is!

Payback is hell... typical brat...she can dish it out but can't take it. Cindy had better get ready... kc will be telling her lawyers to chew cindy up to pieces... but good luck with that. Lol. If they didn't learn from depositions with the A's before when the State was dealing with them or Morgan...oi. lol. Kc is super angry now. On the day she needed her mother to mouth those I love you's to her the most, cindy just walked right out with not one glance at her daughter. I wonder if her cindy look a like lawyer and mason was trying to convince kc otherwise..."oh she did but the officer was in the way and you missed it...I saw it kc, calm down." Nuh uh...she needed that look from her mother today, (not before when she didn't need it to serve any purpose, today when she needed it on her own terms), and her mother didn't do it. To kc, this means hell to pay...worse than what she had planned. She was waiting for that look and was

Sorry for the stack, but I think this is why the attorneys left by the door going back to the jail. I think they were going to have a real talk down with her. Either they have determined she is totally lying and want to straighten that out (which I think they already knew) or they are going to talk to her about possibly testifying or asking for a plea bargain. Something is going down with them today.

I think they're asking her if she wants them to bring Cindy to her knees.
They have to know she's been lying to them form the get go.
They have to know she's going down.
Their only purpose is to save her from the needle and that's where the "fun" for Mason will come in..by destroying what Casey hasn't already destroyed...
I'm certain after today's display, Casey is more than willing to go above and beyond to take Cindy down.

Geez, it's still all about her.  My kids used to come home from school on report card day and tell the teacher 'gave' them a bad grade.  I had to tell them if they got a bad grade it was probably because they didn't do their work...the teacher doesn't just give you a bad grade.  Same here with Casey when she said her mother did that to deliberately hurt her.  She acts and says such childish things.

I think it's worse than that.  I think that Baez knows she's guilty, going for broke and threw it all in, probably never imagined it would turn upside down for in within the first week of the trial.  I really think that Baez just wants to get a murder trial under his belt.  It's all about Baez.

I agree... he must also be reading the comments people are making about him... thats including attorneys/and other legal eagals!! its about him winning but right now he is loosing!!
mason needs to see baez is messing up and he is lead attorney! he isnt allowing mason to speak for him because of his ego!
