This just reminds me that us middle-aged people do not need to dance in public  Laughing

That was so hilarious!  Whether somebody likes the man or not, you have to give him credit for being a good sport!

Dihannah I agree, I'm just getting to that age that my kids make sure I know how out of date my dancing is  Laughing

this was also featured last night at the same event, it's very irreverant but I am pragmatic, we have to laugh at ourselves at times

I was delighted to see the man in such a festive mood considering the lynch mob out to get him just because they "make the rules now"!  Pretty funny for someone supposedly so devoid of humor, etc.

At his age, and soon to be lots of ours, I think it is the spirit of the dance that counts as much as the moves.  I also think there is some validity to the supposed statistics that liberals tend to be much more likely to be depressed than conservatives.

Bush's routine was also hilarious.  I especially loved his saying his memoirs would be a pop-up book in honor of all those who chose to ignore his under grad degree from Yale (with higher GPA than Kerry) and grad degree from Harvard and pretend he is illiterate.

But Carl Rove bustin moves at a time when the entire DNC is gunning for him just did my heart good as I saw it as an also in your face to those trying to set perjury traps and imprison political opponents in this country for the first time since our own civil war.

Maybe there is hope for us yet!

oh Anna I admired him for it, he truly was a good sport about it and I'm not sure I would have been. I cannot rap  Laughing nor do I pretend that I can. When Rove pulled out his cell phone I lost it, entirely too funny and so true too. but I do love to dance and don't like it when my son says "oh mom you're so gay" when I do dance around him Rolling Eyes

And now for something completely revolting.  And we tend to think of the British as being dignified?

Watch the man, Gordon Brown, on the right behind Blair.  Surely this is not the man destined to take over when Blair leaves office is it?

Back to Rove and his dancing, it wasn't out of date. It was hip hop rap. He did a good job and I'm a Dem. Maybe your dancing is out of date.

I didn't either, Bobo2 other than perhaps he is thought to never be out of touch for even a minute with running things in this Administration?  Still, that is not very funny.

And I have no doubt at all that at our ages, we are all far out of step with Hip Hop.  And it's about 15 years old, even off its prime, too.

Maybe Nonesuche gets it and when she comes back from out of town, she will explain it to us.

We are just pitiful!!  So out of it all!   Very Happy

I just got a kick out of seeing him act silly when he is normally so serious.   Wink

I never knew Rove was involved in Watergate. Can you tell me any more information?

With love, Louise
