There went any possibility that I might have any sympathy for Cindy.  She lied about the smell just as I thought she would.  No way in heel she thought that was garbage.  SICK family.

I agree.

George Anthony is a former cop and ... Cindy is a nurse.  Logic dictates that they both knew/suspected from the getgo that their deceased granddaughter had been in that trunk and ... they affirm in their own words.

Caylee Anthony's Grandfather Worried About Death Smell in Daughter's Trunk
Thursday, November 06, 2008

Newly-released documents reveal that the grandfather of a missing Florida toddler worried about the smell of death he detected coming from his daughter's car trunk.

<snipped>

“I had bad vibes the very first day when I got that car," the little girl's grandfather George Anthony told investigators on July 24, adding: "I don’t want to believe that I have, have raised someone, and brought someone in this world that could do something to another person. I don’t want to believe that."

The former cop told police that he was concerned about a familiar odor wafting from the trunk of his daughter's Pontiac Sunfire. As a former investigator, he said, he recognized the smell of death.

George Anthony's wife Cindy, who told the media the smell was that of decomposing pizza, noticed the odor in their daughter's car too, he said in interviews with detectives.

"After we pulled inside the garage ... her exact words were, ‘Jesus Christ what died?’" George Anthony told police. "That’s exactly what she said.
But then she said it in a way, she says, ‘George, it was the pizza right?’ And I said, 'Yeah, it was the pizza.’

"And that’s what I left it go at that, but, I’m sitting here as the grandfather, as the father, as George Anthony and as a guy who smelled the smell before years ago, and you just never forget it. I even stuck my nose down on it and I’m, I’m concerned."

911 Call: "Smells Like There's Been A Dead Body In The Damn Car
Posted: 6:42 pm EDT July 24, 2008
Updated: 12:08 pm EDT July 25, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The web of misinformation and contradictory statements in the case of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony has centered on the child's grandmother after the release of 911 tapes.

Investigators released two 911 calls Thursday that were made by the grandmother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony. She sounds frantic in the calls that were made the night of July 15.

<snipped>

On the second call Cynthia says, "I found out my granddaughter has been taken, she has been missing. My daughter finally admitted that she's been missing. ... My daughter finally admitted that the babysitter stole her. I need to find her."

"There's something wrong," Cynthia continues to tell the dispatcher in the second call. "I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

George Anthony Told Investigators He Had "Bad Vibes"
Thursday, November 6, 2008 – updated: 6:28 pm EST November 6, 2008

When sheriff's investigators questioned Casey's father George nine days after Caylee was reported missing, George told them he had "bad vibes" the very first day he got his car back and smelled the smell in the trunk, a smell, he said as a former law enforcement officer, he knows and would never forget.

Casey's father George told investigators, "I don't want to believe that I have, have raised someone and brought someone in this world that could do something to another person. I don't want to believe that."

George also told them, "I, I, I believe that there's someone dead back there and I hate to say the word human. Um, I hate to say that."

George told them, when he opened the trunk of the car, he said to himself, "Please don't let this be my Caylee."

We're beginning to get complaints about O/T posts from those trying to catch up. Please remember Klaas's request that all O/T posts be placed in the "breakroom" thread, and please don't post anything for the sole purpose of being funny. Thanks!

I do not get how the defense seems to be persuing an insanity defense when they have not declared it.

Shes not insane nor can they claim it...she might be disturbed & may have disorders but she is not "insane."   Im very curious what her sealed medical examinations indicate.   Id venture to say she is a narcissistic sociopath with traits of borderline personality disorder as well.  MPD, no way.

I just do not get how somebody goes through life making people up.  What purpose before Caylee was murdered did she have to do that?  The extent of her lifes is just overwhelming.  She created whole people, families, diseases.  OMG.  WHERE DID SHE GO EVERYDAY?  I was waiting for Bozo to go ahha, this is who Caylee's father is, and it be like an uncle or something.

She was hiding that she was fired since April 2006 from her job, stealing money from her parents, grandparents, friends & screwing half the guys in Orlando.

Whe are sure by DNA lee is not the daddy right?

I saw somewhere in the documents a document ruling Lee out for sure as the father via DNA tests, IIRC.

I don't think she kept her in the trunk to sleep. I think she killed he in the pool maybe placed he in their without her life jacket. She put duct tape on her mouth to make sure her fluids could not come out. and then put the sticker almost to say I am sorry. Caylee had to be in the back yard somewhere that is why the dogs hit. Maybe she put her in the playhouse after she died and then went the next day when she backed up her car she then put her in the trunk.

I really have to agree that a 'live' Caylee was never put in the trunk in FL.  I live in New Orleans, and you cannot leave anyone in the car (much less a trunk) without air conditioning for more than 10 minutes after Feb/Mar here, so I can only imagine what FL would be like.

After killing Caylee she ran over to Tony's and spent that evening and the rest of the next day in bed with him.  That gives me shivers thinking how exhilarated she must have been to lay in bed w/Tony and do you-know-what all day with blood still on her hands.

Should be interesting, particularly after hearing the way he called Casey's bluff in the jailhouse telephone conversations.  I don't think he's going to stand for all this nonsense.

IF Casey claims that both her dad and brother molested her, and her brother had a DNA test done for paternity, was George also tested?  Baez himself said that Lee's supposed abuse was not as bad as George's, so it wouldn't make sense then not to have George submit to a DNA test.

Lee is not. I'm trying to remember if George was ever subjected to DNA testing for the purpose of eliminating him as Caylee's Father. I don't know............ but if not, the defense may be trying to infer it.

I heard from one of my sources that something shocking could happen when Lee Anthony testifies... Reports say he could be next witness.

Why on earth would Baez ask Cindy that (Caylee still alive)?  What would he have to gain by that?  She obviously doesn't anymore.  Can't imagine his reasoning in asking that.

He asked her that because he wants to show how she isn't in touch with reality.

Ding Ding Ding.... so absolutely correct.. We have arrived at the same diagnosis

She also exhibits anti social tendencys mixed definitely with conduct disorder..she is someone everyone around her should have been very afraid of..she would have gone on to kill others now that she had one kill under her belt.  She didn't kill Caylee out of neccesity..she killed her out of jealousy, spite and just total indifference in wanting to have Caylee tag along with her anymore.
