ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

« Reply #2240 on: May 31, 2011, 10:41:09 PM »

The steak knife was in today, but I think overruled or the DA corrected Cindy or ??

I did hear that part, Cindy mentioned it but Linda stopped her, and didn't discuss it further.

I'm hoping IF it was possibly used to cut the duct tape that it will come into evidence later.

Anyone that has used duct tape knows...tearing it and or cutting it will often result in threads coming from it like what I believe may have been on that steak knife.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

We used to tease my mom that she was  the Queen of duct tape. IMO from using it for years and years... if i use my teeth to start the tearing it looks one way. If I tear it with my fingers another, scissors another, Swiss Army knife another and a steak knife is serrated so it would cut so as to show that way sort of jig-jag. Along time ago Cindy said a steak knife was missing from the home. I heard it mentioned today but then not "played on" and can't remember why. Something to do with what was found in the car.

I have to wonder what ICA is thinking about her man Baez right now? Is she in her little fantasy world that everyone will believe all their bs and she will walk out of there a free woman?
Where would she even possibly go if she did? Or, is she thinking he is a dumass and going to lose this trial for her? Just wondering...

Okay...there's something we need to figure out here.

KC was 22 when Caylee went missing.  Caylee was almost 3.   22 - 3 = 19

Pregnancy was 9 months.  19 yr. - 9 mos. = 19 or maybe 18

Cindy said on the stand today that Casey told her that Baker was Caylee's father.
Cindy said that she understood that Baker was a couple of years younger than Casey.
Then, IIRC, Cindy later said 2 or 3 years younger than Casey.

Casey 19 - Baker 2 yrs. younger = 17

Sure was a young boy.

But that turned out not to be true too.  Baker not the dad.

I know!  Ha.

Wonder if prosecution will get that in along the way.

SM is one of the most successful collaborative free forums I've ever seen. And I studied this stuff in school! (social media and telecommunications) The rewards from contributing here far outweigh the costs. Little is asked of the members and in turn our passion for justice and diversity of individual talents is what drives us to contribute our best. Sites like SM are rare in my experience.  few websites are worth returning to more than once and SM is a shining example of what an online community should be! Thanks monkeys and sorry for the OT

Magic - thanks for the recap!

Klaas ,you and all the other monkeys who needed a recap are so welcome.  I have lived on all of your wisdom, posts and links for almost 3 years.  I have finally found a way to contribute to the forum I love.  I am a typing fool, lol.  I have two monitors set up, one to type on, one to watch on and the TV.  I hope to be able to recap everyday.  When someone put me in the same sentence as Brandi I almost stopped.  Her brilliance amazes me and she inspires me so much.  This forum has become a big part of my life and justice for Caylee is in my heart.

Baez's outfit today makes him look like a Tootsie Roll.

I was thinking more like a big brown turd

I was noticing the little beady eyes.  My mother always told me to beware of men with beady eyes!

Thanks... yes those little thready things. A steak knife IMO would not be a clean cut without those thready things.

IMO It the cut would be one of a kind and harder if it was industrial duct tape vs. the $1.99 on sale flimsy duct tape. I just bought a roll and it was the cheapo kind.. flimsy.

So........................what do you think the impact would be if Lee gets on the stand and says, yes he tried to feel KC up while she was sleeping? Blowing it off as early teen inquisitiveness.

nada.....none

thanks seeme

i think at this point there's nothing the defense can say or do during this trial that will upright their sinking ship of a defense team.  i think the jury already has her convicted in their minds.

BTW......I was strangely impressed when Cindy gestured & told Casey to turn to the side to look @ her profile.....I think Cindy took advantage of the rare opportunity to humiliate KC!
Bet it was the only time KC honored her mother's simple request....

I especially appreciated the spin she put on it, it seemed like she was saying "turn around, ok yea Im done with you."

Cindy got the last "one-up" on KC.

She got to order KC to turn and KC had to do it.

In the more stronger duct tape, I have had the stickiness of the tape stick to the scissors or knife.

IMO they want to blame George of this. A LE or a smart murderer would use fingernail polish or something to clean the stickiness off the knife. Gasoline would be an overkill by the way and the smell would get into the knife handle, wood or plastic.

Great show, Dana!
