Cindy's July 29 deposition: Linda points out that Cindy did not admit to putting dryer sheets in car. Cindy now "remembers" doing it.

Jose wants another sidebar, JP says no.

Telling....shes admitting what she did....Cindy is explaining that back then she told them it was because she was under stress & on two medications.  At the time of her deposition she was tired, not sleeping.   Later on her memory increased.    Interesting

Looks bad, but it's also a plausible explanation. We'll have to see what else she says. She might be able to recover her credibility.

I am loving LDB, but Cindy is trying to backtrack on the "what died" comment.  I think this has more to do with protecting herself from perjury charges than helping Casey.  (I hope.)

Sorry to say it but I saw this coming Saturday.  She went out of her way to mention anything good about Casey that she could.  I hope she is arrested for perjury when this is over.  I certainly hope the jury sees through her crap.

Although it should be fairly obvious that Cindy is backtracking and modifying testimony to help Casey and not put any nails in her coffin, since the jury has had no exposure to the truth yet, the State may eventually have to get her declared a 'hostile' witness.

Scatty, she isnt backtracking or modifying...this is what she said the LE.
The backtracking/modifying I mean is about her current comments as opposed to comparing what she said in other depos. For example, when she says on the stand that she told Casey about the Teddy bear and then starts scrabbling to change the time she told her as much later, which really doesn't make sense. If the bear went missing after about a week, then why would she tell Casey "after all this happened" that you are sleeping with Caylee's bear? There were some other instances where she had just said something, realized it sounded bad for Casey and then began to modify it. My brain's blank right now, but here have been several while she's been on the stand.

maybe to protect herself more than to protect slore?
Linda better go easy on this grieving gramma or the jurors may not like it...they don't know the whole story like we do..

JP instructed the jury to disregard the steak knife comment.

he can instruct all he wants but it is already in their minds jmo

A knife isnt evidence as a murder weapon (no blood) so that may have something to do with it.   However, I think Casey may have used that knife to cut duct tape.

The state had told JP during one of the pre-trial hearings they had no intentions of bringing the steak knife in as evidence @ trial. But, Cindy mentioned the knife in her testimony today with the inventory of what items she had removed from KC's car.
Therefore the judge had to strike Cindy's testimony about the knife.

How can the slore just sit there and allow this to continue?

Because she is a "spiteful biatch".

Okay, warn a girl?  Now I have to clean my computer screen!

She is now stating that she DID put the dryer sheets in the car.  I believe she had mentioned spraying Febreeze before.

Cindy's really struggling with this testimony.

I have to say............. I can't imagine getting Caylee's favorite doll from Caylee's car seat and trying to clean the smell of death from it.

As soon as she lies about the 911 call the jury will see what she is doing.

Bozo just asked her, did you put the dryer sheet in there, LOL?

This is heartbreaking for me and I do not even like Cindy.

Me, too.
