I saw the subsequent 6.7 quake also.  Sad for that area.  

I do see the tsunami cancellations also.  Good news for Australia, but I bet there will be a very high surf today...

Tib, there are two scales.  We use the Richter scale, but I believe Sky cable is using the Moment scale...

   MAGNITUDE   - 7.6  RICHTER

He is a very smart robot! Laughing  All kidding aside, though I even read where we should wash bannanas and cantelopes etc, things with peels. The article said "Do you know how many hands have grabbed those bananas , and cantelopes?" Said when you cut the cantelope you could be inserting bacteria with the blade! Shocked   Hello monkeys!

That explains it then - I always thought there was only the Richter Scale.  Why would they need to change?

I read an article about germs in the Scientific American a year or two ago. They had pictures.
Bathrooms : Cover up your toothbrushes.
Kitchens : Change that dishrag / towel frequently.
I go thu a liter of bleach a week and I am not a germ-o-phobic like Robots.
Use a paper towel when leaving a public restroom to open the door after you just washed your hands.
