Wow Lee is disappointing so far.....he was completely different in depositions and other hearings.

Hi mission   JMO but I think Lee knows his testimony is going to be damning to KC. There is some reason he got use immunity.....and it's going to come out sooner or later...wish it was sooner, but got a feeling it's gonna be later!!

ITA and seems like he is taking up for KC. Makes me  after what happened to his mom yesterday on the stand, he should totally be against KC now.

Lee is a horrible witness.  Can't recount much of anything.  I just saw him look over at Casey.

I agree. I think he is purposely trying not to be helpful (at best).

Mr George is probably a very nice man but most of Simms objections are sustained

Where was George when Lee arrived?  Casey's vehicle was in the garage.

I thought George drove Casey's vehicle home from the towing lot while Cindy picked up Casey after finding out her location.

Hi Janet

I believe George was at work.

Bill S says the person who does the objections will be the one to do the cross so  Simms will be questioning Lee

Yep, they just said on HLN that the one who does the objections is the one who does the cross.  So Simms is up for that next.

George brought the car home and went back to work at his new job at
Cindy's suggestion.

Frank George should most certainly NOT be handling LEE ANTHONY.

This is a pathetic example of a direct examination of a witness who they KNEW would be difficult on the stand.

GOOD LORD.

It's like he doesn't know what to do.  And the fumbling with the binder is getting on my nerves!  He doesn't seem organized.

She is far better than Baez.  I wonder if her being in charge of the defense on this one threw Mr. George a little.  It is clear she has a much better understanding of the rules of evidence than Baez does.

I don't see Lee covering for Casey.  He is, however, a bad witness.  He can't recount most of the questions and needs to see his deposition every other question....JMO

Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

« Reply #373 on: June 01, 2011, 10:16:40 AM »

I see Lee as being cooperative so far.
At lest he's not giggling or blowing kisses.

Every time he tries to say something, the duffense cuts him off.  Why else would he go over the house, his mother called him. His mother told Caylee is missing.  Why is that hearsay.  Why is it hearsay describing her deemaner that he witnessed?

I think he forgot alot.  It has been 3 long years.  We shall see.

They are having to draaaag everything out of him, he is "not remembering" a lot of things.  I guess Cindy's excellent recall of every stupid story kc told her didn't rub off?  I think he's deliberately being as non hostile of a hostile witness a witness can be.  I didn't expect much and so far I have not been disappointed.  This testimony will show if they are all truly behind kc, no matter what.  How does a whole family get so twisted up?

George was at work. I think he said he worked until 11:00. Lee is saying he arrived at 8:00 and then the other two within a few minutes.

Thanks Riley.

George drives Casey's vehicle home from the towing lot ... calls Lee to come over and ... then goes to work.  Lee arrives at his parent's home.  Cindy and Casey arrive a short time laer.  Do I have that right?

Exactly!  It is like they have to pry a decent answer from him.  So odd.

Mr. George seems so un-prepared, wondering if this may have just been tossed at him unexpectedly.....Lee is such an important witness, just seems strange!

The car was in George and Cindy's name. I think the kids just got to use it. Lee first, since he was older. But the title is in George and Cindy's name, if you want to be technical.
