Either he is being non-helpful or he has memory issues.
Memory issues I believe...I think the state is really handling him with kid gloves because of...

I agree with memory issues.  Puts me in mind of someone with cognitive disorder, at the very least.  And if that's true, the attorneys may have been alerted ahead of time to go carefully with him.  My mid son has cognitive disorder, and needs extra time and explanation etc to think, understand, process info/questions.  A person with CD justs needs that extra time and help, they can eventually 'get it', it just can be maddening for whomever is watching/waiting etc.

Can one of the local Monkeys get the sidebars transcripts? I would be willing to chip in to pay for them. This is just rediculous. This trial will be going on this time next year at this rate. Mr. George acts like he has no more experience than Bozo. I surely hope he will not do the questioning on the experts.

I'll chip in too!!!

I can't imagine being a juror on this case.  They have to sit through all of this and can't even talk about it.  I think my head would explode!!

I agree.. it would be hard not to talk amounst themselves.. I KNOW I would have a very hard time keeping my big mouth shut. lol

I wonder how long Casey had been pretending to use that computer with the blue screen on it.
Or did she do something with it when she came back into the Apt. to get her shoes?  Nobody has said anything about that tho.
Yeah, methinks it would take KC awhile to download a virus last minute or damage the screen. I think it's more likely that Lee (who knows more about computers) tampered with it.

I don't think there is any evidence of htis, but could Amy have called Casey before she and Cindy got to her house, before Cindy got to the mall to get Amy, giving her time to erase it?
JMO, but at this point Amy knew KC had stolen money from her so I doubt she would call with a heads up that they were coming over.  Also, if Amy had called and said they were coming , I bet KC would have high tailed it out of Tony's apt.

I honestly think Lee is trying his best.  He reminds me of my brother...even the way he talks.  Not a very high IQ.  If he has Asperger's then that is definitely why he is acting the way he is.  He is also obviously nervous.  Plus we know he has received immunity from something.  I'm sure the defense will be bringing that up as well.  JMO

My nephew has that.  He is younger, but he is a whiz on computers, but forget anything else.  He takes everything literally too.  You could tell him you ate his toy, and he would believe I ate his toy.  I don't see the facial mannerisms of my nephew in Lee.  My nephew barely smiled.  There was never a change in the tone of his voice either (extremely loud).  He never got a joke either.

Yes.  My 7 year old has it.  Exhibits the exact symptoms as your nephew.

I know there are varying degrees of the illness, but I just do not see it in Lee.

I agree.  He seems forgetful and just not very bright.

Magic, you are doing a great job of typing the proceeding.   I know you mentioned losing stuff along the way that you have typed so I might suggest that as you type a few paragraphs take a second to  right click "select all" and then right click again "copy" what you have so far....continue typing & then do it again as you go.   If you do lose your page without having to reboot your computer you should be able to open a new window.   When you have that new window up put your cursor in the text box & then right click "paste" into the box.

If you only lose a sentence or paragraph but the page remains up you might try right click "undo" and what you lost may return.

This makes sense.  However, Mr. George doesn't have the patience for this witness. JMO.

You're right, I didn't think of that.  I have mental slowing right now, wonder why?

I'm sorry I know this has been mentioned by some and I don't mean to be repetitive but, you have no idea how much I wish Jeff was questioning Lee right now

"Were you ever in possession of the receipts?"
"No."
"Where were the receipts."
"In the bags I picked up."

Does he not know what was asked?  He may not have known the receipts were there, but he was in possession of them.  Wow.  I'm getting a headache.

No belongings of Caylee's were at Tony's when Lee went to pick Casey's belongings up.
