However, dissociative identity disorder is a severe form of dissociation, a mental process, which produces a lack of connection in a person's thoughts, memories, feelings, actions, or sense of identity. Dissociative identity disorder is thought to stem from trauma experienced by the person with the disorder. The dissociative aspect is thought to be a coping mechanism -- the person literally dissociates himself from a situation or experience that's too violent, traumatic, or painful to assimilate with his conscious self.

I really think this tape is just devastating to the defense. That justice sign is grinding them into the dirt.

According to the defense, even if the jury believes the defense, they are getting an earful of how well she lies and witnessing how she ignored a chance to come clean. They can't believe what the defense has put out there in light of this tape. They know Zanny doesn't exist now................ I don't think the defense can overcome this tape. It's done, IMO.

The only thing i hear that supported their crazy theory so far was how delusional she sounds when saying I know she's been here and to sea world. I could see them argue, see she wants to pretend Caylee is alive and having fun.  Can it overcome the obviousness of what Casey is and how bad she is, I don't think it stands a chance.

They would have served Casey better to have claimed insanity. They didn't, and all I can figure is that the mental health pros that spoke with her couldn't come up with a diagnosis. She also exhibited tremendous awareness of guilt, so it wouldn't have flown anyway. She's not insane, she's a cold, lying, murdering Biotch.

Judge Perry just said, "It's always good to have a little levity."  I agree with Judge Perry.  He's a very wise man.

It's really difficult to comprehend how Casey could take these men to Universal to show them her "Office," when she didn't work there.  Didn't she know that fate would catch up with her at the end of that hall?  I think her past experience with her parents, specifically Cindy, had taught her that no matter how convoluted the explanation, it would be believed.  But she was with police officer who had heard it all and seen it all, not her adoring and gullible mother.

how can she sit and listen to this, hearing her lies and know EVERYONE knows every thing they are hearing are LIES....and no expression, no remorse, no shame, no embarrassment........just EVIL on her face!!!
