My daughter just asked me, if I thought Zanny was ICA alter ego? Thoughts?

pb

In one of George's depositions (FBI one I think) he stated  how he had found a resume KC had made and it had listed where she had been a nanny. He questioned her and told her she could not put that because she had nothing to back that up and employers would check something like that.

Turbo, I remember that.
Guess, we will never know for sure.

The jury has gone to lunch

Are those courtroom programs on their seats?  Wonder what the box score is?

I think those are their notepads.

Oh, one more thing, I know my posts are long, I hope that is ok.  Like I said they are not transcripts or verbatim, they are as close as I can come and I add a few comments of my own. I know I don't type everyone of Baez's questions because if they don't make sense to me, I can't type fast, I type what I hear. I am not picking on him, though I have every reason to, lol.  You can tell my comments, they are very sarcastic, lol.

Please feel free to snip what I have typed anywhere and use it in your posts.  Note:  Please be sure to link back to Magic Eye's posts if you use even a snip of them, please.  She's doing a great job!  Muffy

My court comments also look different than my regular posts, like this one, I am putting the time and court information on them.

The jury was given two choices during opening statements:
1. Caylee innocently drowned in the pool
2. KC murdered Caylee

Ending with the interview they just heard from Universal and what they know right now, look at the logic of the decision before them. Despite being given every opportunity to stop lying and tell them what happened, KC continues to insist a fictional nanny took Caylee from a fictitional apartment.

Which choice above does that clearly scream is the right one? I think the State should rest right now. The forensics will add nothing and just add fodder for the defense to play with. Based upon the choices determined by both sides, she's already done. Put a fork in her.

I find it interesting that a lot of these jurors are NOT taking notes, per people in the courtroom.  I don't think they need to, it is all unfolding very clearly for them.

After listening to all of that and typing it, I really need to go take a HOT, HOT shower.  I can't even imagine what the jury is thinking at this point.  I have known most of these details for years and still find it scary.  Will read all of your posts later.

Thanks so much for typing that for all of us. I am like you have know this for years and I have to believe if I were the jury, I would be thinking psychopath. Just listening to that tape today caused all these strange thoughts about the other cases she was somewhat aligned with in Orlando in my mind. I am beginning to wonder if we are witnesses to a female serial killer's thinking patterns. I believe normal people are so far removed from this type of thinking it is really hard to comprehend that it can happen in real life.

The one thing which keeps coming to me is how all serial killers are such persuasive liars and fool so many people over the years. That is why they can keep killing because everyone believes them. I have always thought she had all intentions of killing her parents, at least her father because of how she told everyone she was getting their house and about the $15,000 she had. I think that money was her mother's life insurance money she had through her work.

Oh man, do you guys think JB REALIZES how dumb he is looking? Its really embarassing.... Does he really believe this is a good strategy? Forgetting his files, calling side bars, having his objections from the state sustained... I can't watch him! I kinda feel bad for him... Its too much for him to handle... He's really reaching and its noticeable... I don't feel bad that he's defending Casey, I feel bad that he is not a good lawyer...

Nope, he cant see past the nose on his own fact...much like his client

I know I don't feel the least bit bad for Baez..he is an awful lawyer pretending to be a competent attorney.  At any point in the past almost 3 years he could have told his client I can't defend you properly and gracefully exited.

His ego won't allow him to do that..and he wants a muder trial under his belt before he becomes a talking head on Telemundo..lol.

Yeah, true... Maybe I just feel bad for myself having to watch him!... I just can't comprehend how someone who is defending such a HUGE case can honestly think he's doing a good job and not be embarassed for himself after being stopped by the judge on soooo many occasions... Then he stands there with a smile on his face! Ugh! Stupid for thinking he's doing well or stupid for knowing he's doing horrible yet continues on with his "charades"??? Either way, it is hard to watch...

Hi pb,
I think it was her term for doping Caylee to make her sleep as in Xanny (the drug Xanix (?sp) or what ever drug) the nanny.

during jury selection... casey pulled the same thing with the bailiffs daily. she would stand there waiting for someone from the defense team to notice her... than she would  squawk away until they had to almost walk up  to her and tell her its time.

I thought that too but then my husband said, each piece of evidence is a smack to kc. So then I thought, eh, let the State smack the he11 out of her with everything they've got...tell it all, and most especially go into great detail about where Caylee's monster mom dumped her. Wish I could be in the courtroom to see the juror's reactions to all of this.

OMG...the bailiff came to get her and escort her out...she flipped her hand and, I am assuming, told him to wait...she continued talking to JB totally ignoring the bailiff...he finally walked right up and she reluctantly moved towards the door!!

She did that the other day to one of the male deputies and the lady deputy walked over and told her YOU GO NOW............It was very animated and you could read her lips as clear as day.

Do you remember when? After it was over for the day or before lunch? I'd like to find it.

I don't remember but I am thinking it was at lunch. It was after the feed went down on the TV station and I was watching it on reflector. I always watch and listen to it, but keep the KC cam on in another screen.  That is where I saw all the evidence boxes and bags today as they were panning them after everyone left court.

I dont think that caylee talked as clear as casey tried to imply to the detective! because if that was the case! cindy would know all about sleeping at ricardos with them in the bed. she would have told cindy what and where they were doing... the drinking.. casey in the bedroom with tony!! all those roomates... I dont buy it nope.

Hi NM,

Yes, I know that...we have discussed over the years Zanny was the name of the drug. Thanks

There is NO way that Casey could have told LE there had been an accident at that stage. She knew her child was decomposing, but there might have been enough tissues left at that date,so that the medical examiner could have determined the exact cause of her death, thus blowing the accidental drowning story out of the water. Casey could not take that chance. She only came up with the accident theory long after all tissue had gone...  she was betting she would never be found.   If she had a few more brain cells than JB she might have realized that Florida is one big swamp where she could have dumped her and no one would ever find her. Instead, lazy as ever, she dumps her in the 'hood.

The "pets" issue could possibly lead to applying qualifiers for something called "David's Triad."

David's Triad refers to a case about a little boy whose behavior led psychiatrists to realize many children with serious behavior problems share a triad (3) of similar behaviors.

Those include the following:
1. Playing with fire. From cigarette lighters and candles to matches.
2. Wetting the bed. Years beyond acceptable relapses.
3. Cruelty to animals. This includes purposeful injury and torment.

David's Triad does not include individual behaviors, but refers ONLY to the cluster of all three behaviors present in a given individual.

Psychiatrists found this cluster of behaviors occurred in many cases of serious childhood personality disorders/mental illness.

For this, Cindy and George would have to be questioned.

One other thing. We know George has attempted suicide and we do not know if any other witnesses have contemplated the same. As a result, it is curious and unsettling, to see the large, orange handled sissors placed on the ledge in front of the witnesses. It appears they are within easy reach of the witnesses. Court rooms can erupt in an emotional rush as a trial heats up.

Any other monkeys pick up on this?

I bet this is nothing new she's doing...and it may be why she had that little slip in the elevator and chipped her fangs. Surely the deputies get weary of miss high and mighty.

When Baez was trying to get the two Dr.s in.....CJBP asked if they were going for an insanity defense. Not only did Baez say no, Casey shook her head no also.  No Dr.s on their list to go down that road. So why is Baez presenting this case as if she is nuts??

He is setting the foundation to put the invisible people on the stand to defend KC?  At least they will not make him look like a fool and talk back.
