I was actually in one of Sally Karioth's audiences some years ago.  If my memory is correct, she is classified as a "motivational" speaker and talks about acceptance of grief (to death or severe disability) in humorous terms.  I cannot imagine that anything she would have much to add to this trial, especially if she never talks to the defendant.

During lunch today, Mr. Lippman said that when the day comes that Baez is no longer an attorney, he will give his opinion of him.   Gee, I wonder if he knows something about that, Baez no longer being an atty. for much longer.

Just when I thought Jose had reached the murkiest depths of the septic tank, he dives in for a bigger pile of poo.  I'm continually surprised and not in a good way.

Same here. And to be honest, I'm surprised by how much he does get away with. I really cannot believe they are going to make the state have to depose that "expert"! And where did he get GA's medical records. It's all so, "trial by ambush-ish" to me. How can he continue to get away with this stuff!?

The writing is on the wall & we're not even close to all of it yet.   Wonder if Lippman will be on any of the HLN shows tonight, very possibly

It would be wonderful to find out the medical records and that statement are connected because Baez is bye bye.

Biggest joke of the day...Baez representing to the court that if he says it in court, it is the truth.  He wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and smacked him in the face!  To borrow a similar quote from Judge Strickland and adjust it a little, "The truth and Mr. Baez are strangers.", IMO  He lies as easily as he breathes.  That 's my honest opinion and so far he seems to be doing a good job proving it.  Prove Caylee drowned, Baez...I dare you.
I laughed so hard and loud at that statement, I made my dog run out of the room.

Can't George's lawyer stop the records from coming in?

Why is everybody so upset?

Could it be that info within that record would further the defence's strategy revealed in Baez's opening statement?

Janet
Why is everyone upset?  Because HIPA laws were designed to protect common folk from snakes like Baez.
Absolutely, KittyMom, those are federal laws too.

Did the cameras show George's face during the talk of his medical records?  I was listening but not watching.

Does anyone know if those 11 minutes cut off from the jail house call with G&C included the portion where KC had a fit because no one was letting her talk and where she says to mom I saw you in your cameo?  We haven't seen that....guess it's not coming in.

Dead space nothing on the tape

That's coming in tomorrow, pretty sure.  That was the LAST visit with C&G.

Mainly he was talking about Baez's opening statement at the time.  Vinnie asked him what he thought of Baez for doing that to George.

I don't believe he was still there. The jury was not.

Thanks West for the info!  My state's so tight, you have to stand 2-3 yards away from anyone dropping off or picking up a prescription (seriously).  I actually got sent back once because I went to a new pharmacy and was talking to someone and didn't see the sign telling me where to stand.  The pharmacist was very unhappy with me.  I'm careful to wait behind any signs now (pharmacy, Post Office, etc.). I actually wait until they call me forward now!  LOL!

Yes HIPAA is very strict here. The hospital I  work at Jerry Springer came and was a patient years ago and 12 people were fired just looking at his medical record without consent.
