I would please ask you to stay on topic when you are in the Murder Trial Daily threads.  There is so much to discuss, ponder, review and question during the course of the days testimony, let alone comparing it back to past statements, etc.  To make these threads make more sense and better to follow, SM would appreciate it if everyone would stay on topic. Klaas has provided a place to go to blow off steam, joke, etc.

Pretend like you are in the court room analyzing the data. What would Judge Perry say?

The mods and admins are super busy with this case so please do not put them on overload and make them have to move comments. I and they would appreciate it if the comments in this thread can stay on topic. Please, let's have a heart.

TAMPA - It was a scene we're used to seeing on Black Friday: a bustling crowd fighting to be first in line.

I wonder if folks will feel the same when Caylee's remains are discussed and photos of her little bones are shown to jurors.  Behind all the stupid antics, inhuman behavior, and immature theatrics, there is a little girl who will never again giggle, laugh, or sigh in contentment.

Casey Prosecutors Scale Back Evidence
Secretly Recorded Video And Jailhouse Snitch Testimony Nixed

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Prosecutors say they will not introduce into evidence secretly recorded video of Casey Anthony's jailhouse reaction to news that skeletal remains had been found near her parents' home.
Defense attorneys argued the plot by sheriff's investigators to record a mother's reaction to news her child may have been found dead was improper and should never be seen by anyone.

Indeed, the video was placed under seal by the court as soon as the state revealed its existence.
With arguments just days away on whether the tape should be excluded from trial, prosecutors decided to not even try introducing it in its case in chief.

Local 6 legal analyst Mark O'Mara said the state could try to use it in the rebuttal phase of its case -- which comes after the defense rests. But he doubts it.

I read some where on a trial thread here that he might have power of attorney so therefore would be responsible. Remember last week (I thick) her attorney had to go to a personal thing and they stopped the trial. Maybe he had to go to an IRS hearing. All this is IMO

I've followed cases where personal business such as finances, child custody, business decisions had to be arranged to be handled by someone while the criminal proceedings were ongoing.  I've never heard of a tax issue come up with an accused individual.  I guess maybe it was the amt and the fact that the expense would've been reported by the media group.  So, now I'm wondering if Baez reported the income appropriately on his taxes.

Casey lashed out at her parents several times in an August 14, 2008 visit, insisting they did not understand the position she was in and claiming that “I need to be looked at as a victim because…I’m just as much of a victim as the rest of you.”

Now that the jurors know from Baez's opening comments that Casey knew all along that her daughter was dead I wonder how it will play with them that Casey called her self a victim. Then there was the pool comment. How could one ever respond that was to being presented with the notion that your child dies that way, if your child had actually died that day? It pretty much shoots Baez ignorant theory to shreds.

In what could be a damaging moment for the defense, Cindy Anthony informed Casey during that visit that one of the latest theories spreading in the media was that Caylee drowned in the pool. Surprise, surprise,” Casey responded, somewhat dismissively. She said it was upsetting to read the comments and speculation about what happened to her daughter.

During jury selection the defense kept asking whether it made a difference of the number of witnesses for the prosecution and defense. I wonder whether these people are going to be able to call anyone?
