Bill Schaeffer on WFTV livestream break coverage "I cannot believe Jose Baez reviewed these tapes and raised this defense."   Bill Schaeffer thinks this is the first time Cheney mason has seen these jail videos, I have to disagree with the latter because I think Foghorn is just a seasoned snake versus an arrogant newbie with no respect.

Casey - there are thousands of kids who don't get this kind of focus - man I bet she wished they would focus on those other kids.

I disagree, because I'm pretty sure that in KC's mind, all publicity is good publicity.  She doesn't care that people hate her, she just LOVES the fact that everyone knows her name.  JMO, of course.

Dear God, I am not sure I can take another 45 minutes of "Anthony Speak".  I have NEVER heard people talk in such convoluted, ridiculous, terms.  They just go round and round without actually saying anything.  Can you imagine dealing with any of them on a day to day level?  I wonder if it is the RESULT of having to step around Casey every day??

One of my favorite things about all of these videos is that whenever there's an interruption (like another inmate coming through or the end of time warning), the jurors get to clearly see Casey going from crying and carrying on to smiling and laughing at the speed of sound.  LOL!  It's soooooooo obvious. She turns on the tears and turns them off like a light switch. Her boredom with the subject of finding Caylee and the public's efforts, her impatience with her parents' need to discuss their emotions/experience, her incessant need to talk about how hard her life is and how she needs to get out of jail to "help", are all front and center.  These tapes are majorly damaging to Casey's story.  The jury has got to be so angry and disgusted at this point, no doubt. The evidence is what it is.

According to the DSM-IV  anti-social personality disorder sociopathy also referred to as psychopathy are one in the same, there are some in the psychiatric community that seem to indicate there are differences and some that do not.

This is the same info I'm finding. The psychiatric community is pretty much equally divided when it come to the differentiation of the 2 pathos. This is where a neurology specialist comes into play. Then they take it from there for proper diagnosis. No esteemed doctor would ever diagnose based on an observance from tv or audio. The diagnosis would be done over a progression of time and would include technical medical testing. Baez specifically stated Casey was competent, didn't he? So how the he'll can he be attempting to make her appear to have a pathy or psychosis? Didn't he already take the psychologists off his list or something of the sort? Cappy, I really believe Baez is establishing a mental defense case for appeal after she's found guilty during this trial. Also, even if Baez gets disbarred after this case, the SOB will become uber wealthy by writing books & sitting on panels, etc. Despicable.

The difference between sociopaths and psychopathy is the ability to kill without remorse. You cannot raise a mental defense of anti-social personality disorder as insanity, it does not meet the legal criteria for "insane."

I agree, however there could be something in her brain that went previously undiagnosed. Brain mapping through EEG, MRI with contrast, MRS, Spect & PET could show if she has a reason for being delusional...which I do NOT believe she has. What I'm getting at is that they can appeal and bring in new medical testing that may work in their favor if even the smallest thing pops up on her cranial slides. They'll warp the meaning to suit their needs. I think she'll get lwop and then an appeal will ensue. I personally think for her to get the dp they'd have to prove beyond a reasonable exactly how Caylee died. We all believe we know but the prosecution has to prove the method. Or don't they? I think she'll be found guilty, just not too sure about the needle.

I'm not sure she said it in a video, but she did tell that to the person from DCF when she got out on bail.

I don't think telling a jury your client is a psychopath would endear the jury to her. LOL  - Psychopathy is not a legal defense. They DO know the difference between right and wrong, just choose to do what is wrong. They actually take great pleasure is torturing others and this is what we are seeing today on this video. It is her ability to torture that keeps her feelings alive.
