After 3 years, I doubt there would be a lot of odor. I am sure if there is not a lot of odor, they will allow the jurors if they as to smell it up close and personal.  I don't know how far the odor will carry but I can assure you that spare tire cover will still smell of decomp because that smell never leaves fabrics like carpeting.

I am going to have to re watch todays events for I had to leave earlier and work.. just catching up on the last few pages and saw the dude picking through the big box with gloves on. CARPE     I couldnt help but laugh with the stand by me comment!!

I would not want to smell that.  I would just take it from the witnesses that it smelled.  I can imagine some of the jurors smelling that and throwing up.
