We were just looking at this picture and trying to decide if we shoud resort to sniffing glue, going shopping, or be more logical like Ms. LaLa's
and assume that there is a perfectly logical explanation...

Now, I suppose, we are contemplating on what logic there is to this and it brings up all those bad memories of how the case of Natalee Holloway has defiled all logic.

Did you ever figure out how they came to have that information about you?  I heard Robots talking earlier about back-tracking... do you think that may be what they did?

It's been a long time since such topics have been addressed on here, but the sad fact is that Beth, Dave, and Jug live and work in a competitive and confrontational world, and long before what happened to Natalee, they had outside lives and dealt with people.

For some reason... Mountain Brook, money, politics, professional rivalry, whatever... it appears that there are more than the usual amount of people out there with an axe to grind against this family. There seem to be those who really have a personal hatred of this family and I am of the belief that some of it goes back before Natalee ever went to Aruba. The Birmingham contingent of refugees and haters seems to be looking for any possible chink in the character of this family and they want to pounce on it hard when they think they've found it.

For those who don't live in bham and wonder what it could be- it may be just the standard MB envy that is endemic to this area. A contingent of people in the area see MB as the focus of all evil in the world. Jealousy is all it is. It's not a $$$ issue per se, because some of the family-haters like the charlierats of the world have plenty of $$$ to burn. It's a sociocultural thing that I find hard to understand.

They seem bent on making Natalee's family look like wannabe nouveau-rich glorified trailer-park trash who booze and carouse at will, who fake disappearances for insurance-scam purposes. They invent disgusting scenarios of abuse in their drug-clouded fantasyland fried brains.

It has diminished somewhat with Jug's withdrawal from the stage. But it's still out there.

Well this is a good explanation for why we can’t understand how some can be so ugly and cruel. It’s not all about the crime, there’s some resentful social issues at play here.
