(CNN) -- The capital murder trial of Casey Anthony continues Saturday, a day after jurors were transfixed by taped jailhouse conversations that could be damaging to Anthony's defense.

In one conversation played Friday, Anthony responded sarcastically when her mother brought up media accounts that circulated at the time about the possibility that 2-year-old Caylee Anthony had drowned in the family pool.

"Surprise, surprise," Anthony said of the rumor, which is now the primary defense theory in her capital murder trial in Orlando, Florida.

Hair in Casey Anthony’s car takes center stage

ORLANDO --

A hair found in Casey Anthony's trunk is expected to take center stage Saturday as her murder trial continues.

An FBI agent is expected to testify the hair showed signs of human decomposition.

It was found in the trunk after the Orange County Sheriffs' Office began analyzing the car in 2008.
   
Prosecutors say it proves Casey put Caylee's remains in the trunk after she was killed.
   
The defense has come forward with a different theory of the crime.
   
They also tried to prevent this evidence from being brought up at trial, but the judge ruled it will be up to jurors to decide.

Cos I ideal with with a lot of defense lawyers daily, I know a few of the secret rules. Rule #4 is " In order to use the insanity defense for your client, you yourself (the lawyer) must be sane enough to get thru a trial. You must be prepared, be polite, and above all, IF THE JUDGE TELLS YOU TO KEEP YOUR FILES IN A SPECIAL ROOM, THEN DO IT!" 

In other words, not only is Bozo not qualified to be an attorney, he's sure as heck not qualified to make mental health calls!

HLN host Nancy Grace will host a three-hour block of programming tonight recapping the latest from the Casey Anthony Trial. The programming will be in lieu of HLN’s usual Saturday Night Mysteries block.

From 9 AM-1 PM ET Saturday, HLN will feature live court testimony, with the Grace special airing from from 7-10 PM ET, and replaying until early Sunday morning. Sunday HLN will run its usual programming.

Personally, if I watched 3 straight hours of her my head would explode!!!

Good morning.  I think Baez and Casey are both basking in their "celebrity".  However, once the trial is over both of their imaginary worlds will collapse.  JMO

Then covering up by putting softy sheets in the car to try and cover the smell up.  By washing the clothes and trying to clean the trunk of the car.

I think all chances of going after the Anthonys were greatly diminished due to Cindy's "breakdown" on the stand.  She came across as very sympathetic to many and the state might feel they would look too bad going after them.  I would like to see them pay some price for all of their BS and money grubbing.

Speaking of the dryer sheets, I thought I heard Cindy say on the stand the other day that she did put a dryer sheet in the car, hoping it would help with the smell... but then yesterday I was watching video feed from (I think?) wftv, and the female commentator was saying that there is a dryer sheet in evidence that Casey put in there, showing that she did know that there was a smell in her car.  Which is it?    (Both?) 

Also, I have a feeling all of those items - tobacco?, cheese, etc..  were all left in there in an effort to mask the smell.  Make it smell as much like a mixture of nasty a$$ foods and other items as possible, so that you might not know what you were smelling.

I figure the jury began this by thinking they were being punked or on Candid Camera.  Now after watching the videos I assume they are waiting for Rod Serling to show up.

It does in all actuality appear to be a cover-up but- could these have been the actions of a desperate, panicked woman who wasn't sure what to believe, as she had her crazed daughter telling her one thing and being in serious denial?

As a parent, you want to believe in your kids.

I can't fathom how these people functioned on a daily basis with that nut in the house.

Aside from all stress and grief this family has gone through (and continue to go through) I'll bet they are relieved she's out of the house.
