Mumbles just woke up, scooted towards KC with his arm behind her chair and is telling her something.  He is very aware of the cameera and keeps glancing towards it.

I truly wonder if Mumbles will cause himself to have a medical incident in the courtroom so that he can salvage his name from this circus case when the guilty verdict is read?

I was thinking that very thing last night.  Everything that I have heard from news commentators is that he is a very good trial lawyer.  If that is the case why in the world would you want to be tied to this fiasco?

Interesting........... they retrieved the sample with a syringe. They cracked the trunk as little as possible and got it, then transferred the air to a plastic bag. They also hung a filter in the trunk, shut it and hoped the filter would absorb the odor.
This is wonderful...does this mean that the trunk will still contain the odor?  If the can's haven't retained the smell, could the jury go see and smell the trunk?

Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, rejected by Florida Bar on first try
 ::snipping2::
For eight years after he graduated from law school, however, the board that screens prospective attorneys in Florida would not let him practice law. The Florida Supreme Court agreed with the decision, issuing an order in 2000 that cataloged unpaid bills, extravagant spending and other "financial irresponsibility" up to that time. Justices reserved their strongest condemnation for his failure to stay current on support payments for his only child.

His overall behavior, they wrote, showed "a total lack of respect for the rights of others and a total lack of respect for the legal system, which is absolutely inconsistent with the character and fitness qualities required of those seeking to be afforded the highest position of trust and confidence recognized by our system of law."

On the 23rd they opened up the trunk and hung a carbon filter and another kind of filter to leave for 40 minutes and then collected the samples. She's showing the package to Vincent and he recognizes it also. Evidence tape with his initials on it. Not sealed with date but has the date on the front 7/23/08... transferred then to Oak Ridge Lab.

Not to mention what his comments were regarding his client prior to him becoming part of the defense team.  Evidently, his overblown ego led him to believe he could possibly get her acquitted or more to the point of his previous comments to save her life.

Especially "lack of respect for the legal system" ...  that has always irked me.

Not uncommon of jurors during scientific evidence, he'll wake up real fast if they get to open those cans

Going over what equipment Dr. Vass sent to use for collection.

Aug. 29 did air samples from vehicle and trash from vehicle. A square box was used that had two latches on front and lid that opened. Inside was switches and batteries and two tubes came out of the box. On the two tubes was a nut. Test tubes each had male side of nuts on each end ...he attached the test tubes to the tubes coming out and run the "equipment" and he took air samples of the garage itself.

What did he call the square box? I paraphrased with "equipment".

Interesting that they took air samples from the garage where the car was parked as well.  For comparisons?

The decompensated hair was inconsistent with KC. It was 9 inches long and not treated.

Casey discussed her hair care in the jail visit video, if memory serves she spoke about dying it & that she hadnt been to a hair salon in quite a bit.
Wasn't that because Cindy told her about the salon owner that media reported on?  The one that said that KC and Caylee had been in her salon.

I dunno... I haven't seen evidence of his brilliance in this case yet, have you? Could be a case of the emperor's new clothes--people just agreeing that he is brilliant because someonle else said it once. Not necessarily true. Totally unfounded reputation IMO.

I'm thinking this is leading up to whether or not they will be opened. We'll see.

I don't know about that specifically; but Cindy did ask about having her and Caylee's hair done on those videos, and that was refuted.
