Collected section from spare tire cover that was not stained for a controlled sample. And took one that was stained.

IP and IQ for id.

IP is a sealed can. IQ is a another sealed can without evidence tape or initials. Stained spare tire cover.

IP is stained spare tire cover. The smaller piece is the control sample...IP?

He also assisted taking samples of hair and dna from GA CA and LA. The standards from parents on 10/7/ From LA 10/8/08. Items IW IX IY IZ JA JB for identification.

(I can't believe anyone in the jury is yawning. This is history!)

State doing a good job of showing how its done and chain of custody so that Baez can play no games.

I hate to admit this, but I'm yawning. It's interesting, but it's sorts monotoned.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ this far away from sleeping at my desk.

I would think it would be better to explain what each item showed (results) as she presents it, but I am not a lawyer.  There is just so much that is being entered and we are not hearing about any it.

The cans just shown have the trunk carpet / smell of death in them. The state wants to open one later for the jury to smell. #caseyanthony

I think they should do it.  For those jurors who don't want to judge others or don't support the dp that may be what it takes to do KC in.

I am praying they will, also. I mean, they will know that doesn't smell like "rotten pizza".

It's very possible it has been cancelled.

We often are not kept up to date.

I know it was scheduled for 1 PM today, though.

I am waiting today specifically for the 1 oclock meeting to discuss medical records and that new witness.  That was cancelled?

Buccal swabs from Cindy recognized. And from GA. And from LA.

And LA's buccal swabs were identified as being the father of Caylee...HA! Just kidding.

Hairs evidence recognized by witness also. Uh oh there's hair mixed in, looks like hair pulled by GA out of kc's head... lol...we wish.

He went to the home on hopespring drive to get the gas cans. AJ for identification. Witness recognizes one of two cans he collected from teh house. He can recall the date and time because it's located on the id card. Introduced into evidence and received...and published.

Is this the can from the argument before? That it's "not...in...evidence" from before?

He swabbed the can for dna or fingerprints but was unsuccessful. It was returned to Hopespring Drive on aug. 13th to CA.

I don't. I wish I knew if there was any evidence that the state has but had "sealed" so we do not yet know about it? I keep hoping! But I think with FL's laws to let everything be released, that probably isn't going to happen.

I'm wondering if the Defense has downplayed the importance of this evidence to Casey--she's appearing a bit worried.
