Hopefully in redirect the prosecution will ask Lowe, is it possible that there were hairs in the trunk that could have been from Caylee in the trunk of both when she was alive and dead.

baez is trying to say that a hair that shows decomp may not actually be one.

Um, there can be both. Hairs could have been in the trunk from a blanket when she was still alive and when Caylee was put in trunk, post mortum.

Prosecutors will redirect and dispute baez's nonsense and muddling of what was his cross.

Not to my knowledge they havent, a quick look into doesnt seem to indicate it either.

Oh 8 hours after death it may begin to show. The hair that they found on the skull and on duct tape why did that not have the postmortem banding or did it?

My guess would be that the hair samples from the duct tape were so disintegrated the banding would be long gone. I am guessing that banding is only specific to a certain length of time.

From what I gather, not all post mortem hair shows the decomp banding. Finding it is fairly rare. On the other hand, hair with that type of banding has never been found from a live person's hair, so far. And it hasn't been replicated by other means although some tests may have partially mimiced the banding.

Most likely yes.  The hair found on the duct tape did not have a death band & we will hear from Dr G why she felt it was placed there prior to death

From her statement she evidently also did her testing on the hair from the remains. I think that needs to be brought into evidence.

What was the case we had this same issue, only "1" hair?  Peterson case??

At the end, of whatever trial it was, the jurors said the "1" hair wasn't that important to them. If I remember correctly...

Maybe some of the jurors in totmom's trial WILL remember that.
