Police need help finding missing man

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The search continues for a missing Louisville man who vanished from the area Thursday.

LMPD tells WAVE 3 News that 28-year-old Ira Klapper and his car disappeared and his family is concerned for his safety.

Klapper was last seen Thursday evening around 6:30 in his home.  Police say he was wearing a gray t-shirt and possibly a navy hooded sweatshirt with Old Navy written in orange.

He is a white male, 5'11, 170 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes.

Ira Klapper has been missing from his home in Louisville Kentucky since noon on June 2nd, 2011. We have reason to believe he may want to harm himself. He is currently driving a black Kia Spectra with Virginia plate XWX4419 with a Mets license plate holder. Please forward this cause to others. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police need your help finding a missing person.

Police say 28-year-old Ira Klapper is considered depressed and suicidal. He was last seen at his home Thursday.

Ira was found and unfortunately, he is no longer with us.
