Casey Anthony News13

@kml77 Cindy is on disability. George does some maintenance work at his church

That can't pay much, or may be voluntary.

I hope there are no holes around the church grounds. He likes to step in them! My theory is that today he ran off to

Daytona with the guy with the neck brace.

Baez is being a bully...Forgey remains calm.  Baez keeps trying to get him to say Gerus was incompetent.  Forgey was in complete control of his dog.
No, Baezo never called "the dog" by his name, Gerus, he always calls him "the dog" - cold ass.

Exactly!  Just like the entire Anthony family calling Caylee....'that child'.  Never could get over that, especially since she was 'missing/at risk'.  Just always thought they could have been a little more intimate with that.  IMO

This was discussed before, but why isn't there a sherrif sitting around Casey?  This isn't right.  She should be guarded at all times.  I don't understand why she has so much freedom.

Casey's demeanor cannot be lost to this jury.  Even if your child accidentally died, a normal person would be falling to freaking pieces during testimony discussing liquid decomposition and dogs searching for your baby's bones.  :*(

I'll insert innocent person where you had normal
She is showing all that she is still living in "her world".  I don't think the jury will see it that way.  jmo

Now Brillohead is right in ICA's ear, Brillo turns to get her bag behind her and ICA turns and her face says she is getting the last word in as Brillo ignores her.

Baez states there is no dispute there was a dead body in the back yard!!!!!!!!!!!
Yet he goes on to yammer at the poor witness.
I am so frustrated and I would like to buy the dog handler a beer and shot.

Good one! I would imagine the handler could use one after defense cross examined. I think it would drive anyone to drink..

I wasn't keeping up on here, but listening to and watching some of the testimony of the dog handler.  I don't know if anyone else noticed when he called the sheds "Tupperware" Sheds.  OMG!!!!!  I laughed out loud.  So Cute.  (I think he meant Rubbermaid) LOL

I know--loved that too.

One of the many many things that make Byass a piss poor lawyer is his inability to keep his emotions in check.

Every time he loses his temper he makes a complete fool of himself and asks questions that are dumber than his usual questions.

Just had to get that out of my system!

Oh, and Hi Monks!  ... back to work ...

This is true.  I see the pattern.

Baez has a plan - he's going to ZING the witness with a question that will simultaneously insult and catch the witness off guard.  He asks the zinger, and the witness zings him back and makes him lose a point.
Baez uses two words to rephrase.
The witness restates the obvious and points out that he or she is restating the obvious.
Baez tries again; objection, sustained - rephrase the question.
Finally Baez goes with the old "you really don't know chit do you, dumbazz?" approach.
Witness inevitably looks at him like he's insane, and we get a really great, clear restatement of exactly how qualified the witness really IS.
Baez starts to stutter - one of these days I swear he's going to shout out  "Nuh UH - not true!!!  I'm sticking my fingers in my ears now  LA LA LA LA LA!"

Wonder who is up next?

At the end JBP said that it would be the other K9 handler whose dog hit on Caylee's remains, I believe.

Deputy: Cadaver Dog Alerted To Playhouse, Casey's Car
Posted: 6:18 am EDT June 7, 2011Updated: 4:31 pm EDT June 7, 2011

 ::snipping2::
Deputy Jason Forgey was asked to explain how his dog, Gerus, was trained and what the dog detected in the case.

Caylee was last seen alive on June 16, 2008. Prosecutors believe Casey drove around with her dead daughter's body in the trunk for days. Casey's next-door neighbor said she borrowed his shovel for about one hour on June 18.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office cadaver dog had alerted on two different locations in Casey's backyard. The location that was given the most attention was close to Caylee's playhouse. The playhouse was a second-birthday present for Caylee that Lee and Cindy bought and George put it together. Caylee even had her own mailbox.

Prosecutors believe Casey might have tried to bury Caylee's body in that area where the Anthonys had so many memories with Caylee. George had directed deputies to one area where he noticed fresh dirt.

"He gave a final trained alert in the southeast corner of the yard. There was a playhouse in the area," said Forgey.

The sheriff's cadaver dog also alerted on Casey's car, which bolsters both new scientific evidence and other eyewitness testimony that the jury heard, indicating Caylee's body was in her mother's trunk.

"The trunk was open, Gerus jumped up into the trunk," said Forgey. "Of course, I was overwhelmed at that point because I'm hitting it same time as he is."
