Is that a laptop Baez and Tot Mom are looking at and if so what in the world could be so interesting on that laptop rather than them watching the witness testifying at the time?

Casey's log in was password protected & her family could not access it.  Her family asked her in jail for it several times.

I could be wrong but I think JP told them about a realtime program that would give them what the court reporter is typing at the same time. Could be they are reading that? Or they are on facebook...

Casey looks a lot more interested in this testimony than in other testimony.  She gave a super elaborate lie about that stolen sim card and interchanging them between phones.  Bottom line was she lied aboutit being stolen but maybe she wants to learn more about phones so she can lie better next time (hopefully she won't get another chance).
