CAPE GIRARDEAU, Missouri (CNN) -- It's been nearly a week since a mother of triplets vanished in Missouri. Police are now tracing the whereabouts of Jacque Waller's estranged husband, Clay, on the day she disappeared. Investigators say he has not been named a suspect, but was the last person to see her before she vanished.

One person says, "It took me serious from the minute I walked in that building. She was two hours late."

Cheryl Brenneke is the one who reported her sister missing on Wednesday, sensing something was immediately wrong when Jacque didn't make it home to saint Genevieve. She says, "We miss her so bad already. God, help us to displace our faith and out trust in you at this time."

Jacque Waller, 39, was last seen near her estranged husband's residence in Jackson on June 1.

Clay Waller is still a person of interest, and investigators tell Heartland News Waller has not provided police with any new information since last Wednesday.

No official suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made.

The Cape Girardeau-Bollinger County Major Case Squad now confirms another theory investigators have.  They believe whoever drove Jacque Waller's SUV and left it on the interstate, may have left on a bicycle.

Investigators also confirm while Jacque's purse and phone were missing from her SUV, her laptop was recovered from her vehicle.  Her family members say that piece of evidence will be crucial in this case.

"It had a diary in it," said Stan Rawson, Jacque's father. "That was a bad, bad, bad mistake that you'll be hearing about more in the months to come."

Family of Jacque Waller hopes reward will generate leads

Waller has been missing since June 1st, the day she met her husband to sign divorce papers.

Police suspect foul play, and consider her husband a person of interest in the case.

But they're still looking for leads, and suggested her family offer a reward for information.
 ::snipping2::
Already, Waller's friends are beginning to coordinate the effort on-line, hoping to generate interest and money through Facebook.

New leads, missing details in Waller case
Posted June 13, 2011
Updated June 14, 2011

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

Jackson's police chief says his department is now taking the lead in the Jacque Waller case.

James Humphreys says they're moving forward without any new information from the last person to see the missing mother of three.

"We're trying to fill in the blanks without his help, basically," Humphreys said late Monday morning, referring to Waller's estranged husband Clay.

Humphreys says police have not spoken to Clay Waller since June 7, the same day Waller set up an interview with Heartland News to, he said, share his side of the story.  Waller did not show up for that interview.

Investigators are still working with Waller's original account, that he and Jacque got into a fight around 4 p.m. on June 1 and she left on foot from a home on Woodland Drive in Jackson.
 ::snipping2::
Now that his department is leading the investigation into Jacque Waller's disappearance, Humphreys says his investigators are running down all the leads generated by the Cape-Bollinger County Major Case Squad.

"We had generated close to 200 leads," Humphreys said, including surveillance video, names of possible witnesses, and evidence sent off for lab testing.

"We've sent off numerous evidentiary items that we're waiting to get analysis on that will lead us in more directions," the Chief said.

Humphreys also stresses Jacque Waller's family remains cooperative and "very supportive" of their efforts. He says they met with her parents the evening of June 10 to tell them the Major Case Squad would be standing down and his department would be taking the lead in the case.
 ::snipping2::
Since so many people have asked how they could help we have set up 2 funds at US Bank.  Two funds have been set up at US Bank by Jacque's family.

The "Jacque Waller Family Fund" is for the children and "Justice for Jacque Reward Fund" is to establish a reward fund for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Jacque's disappearance.

Family members say they would like to raise $20,000 for the reward.

Search for Jacque Waller goes national
June 14, 2011

te. Genevieve, MO (KSDK) - It will be two weeks Wednesday since a Ste. Genevieve mother of triplets disappeared. On Tuesday, her friends and family are trying to bring her story into the national spotlight, in hopes that it may lead to a break in the case.

There's an effort underway in Jackson, Missouri to rent one of the billboards to get the information out about Jacque Waller's disappearance. The hope is that some driver on Interstate 55 saw something the night she disappeared but may not have realized it.

"We're especially interested in her car," said Stan Rawson, Waller's father. "[We want to know] how it wound up at the 105 mile marker in Fruitland."

Waller's parents suspect foul play in her disappearance. They think someone left her car on the interstate to make it look like she had car trouble.

"I think there was a bicycle in that car," Rawson said. "I think the perpetrator rode it back to his house in Jackson."
 ::snipping2::
Online, her case is getting a lot of attention. There's a Facebook page dedicated to finding Jacque. It has almost 5,000 followers.

There's a campaign to get her story on America's Most Wanted, Nancy Grace and the national news. Waller's parents say any attention will help. They're hoping someone will come forward soon.

"That's what we're looking for, someone who saw someone on a bicycle," Rawson said.

If you want to find out how to help search for Jacque or spread the word about her disappearance, visit the "Find Jacque" page on Facebook.

Jackson Police remain dedicated to Waller case
June 17, 2011

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

Two and a half weeks after 39-year-old Jacque Waller disappeared, there is still no sign of the missing mother of three.
Waller disappeared June 1st, and investigators say the case is far from cold. However, it's been quite some time since new information has surfaced. One reason being backlogs at crime labs.

Investigators have sent off evidence, subpoenaed phone records, and now it's a waiting game.

Many crime labs are overwhelmed with other cases. Meanwhile, Jackson Police Chief James Humphreys says officers continue to interview witnesses, and at this point into the investigation they're even back tracking.

Garage sale to benefit Waller's children
June 20, 2011

ACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

The Jacque Waller investigation is about to enter its third week, and still investigators have no concrete evidence as to what happened to the missing wife and mother of three.

Friends, family and co-workers are doing everything they can to keep hope alive.

The latest is a garage sale to benefit the Jacque Waller family fund.

It will be Saturday, July 9, at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jackson, and will feature items like clothes and furniture, all donated by supporters.

The money goes to Jacque's three young children.
 ::snipping2::
Authorities consider Clay Waller a person of interest, but not a suspect.

Jackson Police Chief James Humphreys says his department is still following leads in the case, and is waiting for evidence to come back that was sent to a crime lab.

"I miss u so much.  This is a nightmare.  I wish for your safe return.  So many people are wanting to get me.  This is not about me.  We need for you to come home.  Our babies need us so bad.  I haven't seen them since all of this happened.  I know they miss u so bad.  I look for u every day.  I went to church today and have to believe you are still coming home.  Our babies must be so confused, not having their mom or dad.  Honey, I will keep moving forward.  Our kids are worth fighting for.  I know you would want me to fight every day for our babies.  Honey, I miss and love you so much.  Please come home soon, Clay."

"Everyday as new leads come in it's important for us to keep going with it," said Jackson Chief of Police, James Humphreys.

Chief Humphreys says every clue is valuable in the search for Jacque. They're using the Scott County K9 Search Unit to help them scour new locations.
 ::snipping2::
At the same time, the Missouri Highway Patrol helicopter took to the skies.

"We're having them fly low and search again along the interstate," said Chief Humphreys.

Now, Chief Humphreys says local and federal authorities are putting pressure on crime labs to put a rush on testing evidence he feels could bring new leads.

Clay Waller, Jacque's estranged husband, is a person of interest in the case. He is not a suspect. He spoke with Heartland News briefly on the phone Monday. He tells says he is praying for his wife's safe return, and otherwise has no comment.

New information in search for missing Farmington mom

The Rawsons went to Jackson Thursday to get an update about the case. Chief James Humphreys says they're tracking down hundreds of leads.

"As the days go on, it gets more difficult," Chief Humphreys said.  "That's why it is so important to get information from the community."

Waller's estranged husband, Clay, was the last person to see her.  Police are careful to stress that he is a person of interest, not a suspect.

"Right now we still have a missing person, we don't have a crime," Humphreys said.  "That's why we need his help."

Clay Waller's attorney, Scott Reynolds, says there is a lot of misinformation about his client in the media.  He has told Waller not to speak publicly about his wife's disappearance.  But police aren't sure why he's not being more helpful.

"If the mother of my children is missing, you're not going to get me off the front door steps [of the police department]," Chief Reynolds said.  "I can't speak about him, but it makes me wonder why he's not here.  Why he's not helping."
