I wish Beth and Dave would sue ALE, even if they had to do it in Aruba. It's a sideways and in the back door path, but what has been covered up, inaptly handled and ignored holds the answers and would lead to the re-arrest of JK2. Even in Aruba.

CBB I wish that they would sue also but at this point knowing what we know now do you think they will never get answers they want.  Aruba will never allow Beth and Dave win in court because they are so corrupt.  All the judges are corrupt.  JMO.

As long as Rudy Croes and Nelson Oduber are alive they will rule the island the way they want not the way the law states.  THEY MAKE THEIR OWN LAWS.

Here but way behind.  Tons of work on my desk.  Working and lurking.

I trust everyone had a nice Easter.  I didn't feel too slick so we stayed close to home.  I made a nice roast and some potatoes with a side of collards.   It was yummy.

Once again interest for Fisherman’s hut  

ORANJESTAD – The search for a developer for the area next to the Marriott Hotel, known as the Fisherman’s Hut, continues without abatement.  Three interested groups responded to the government’s request for qualifications and proposal.  

The investors are one from Venezuela that mentions Ritz Carlton in the plans; a group that is related to the hotel chain Hilton; and a local group that came up with a proposal for a Fairmont Resort.   The government has appointed a committee to study the plans of the three investors further.  A decision will be made afterwards.  There were five investors that showed interest at first.  However, two of them didn’t comply with the requirement set by the government. -source TODAY'S AMIGOE

I should clarify that the ONLINE version has not changed since 04/05. Of course we have no idea whether a paper version has been printed these last few days.

"Odd" things that I could see in the last few online editions - there were fewer photos, and although the front looked fairly normal, the continuations looked as though they were not typeset. Just typed. If that makes sense. (Although "typeset" is probably not the correct word.) And on one of those days, none of the links to continuations worked.
