Baez is soooo OMG stupid!  If I were defense atty, I would have said "no questions".  These pics are damning to his client.  Get the witness off the stand right away and don't call more attention to the worst of it all.  So what does Baez do?  He gets up there and begins questioning about the duct tape.  In all his bumbling ways, he helps the prosecution nail Casey's azz to the wall.

Dorothy Sims doesn't appear terribly sympathetic to Casey.  The camera has panned over to her and she seems pretty stoic.  Even her pats of Casey seem perfunctory.  Andrea Lyon seemed more emotional.  (I don't know if that would have been a good thing or not for the defense, just an observation.)

Great observation.  I have noticed that when she is "comforting ICA"...she no longer leans into her.  It is like she is just raising her arm and patting/rubbing.  Obviously, she has changed her opinion of her now.  What I want to know is.....why would she go along with this charade?  I guess she can't 'just quit'.  But why go along with this?  Are they all just so desperate for money, fame (ugh!) or free advertising for name recognition?  Don't any of these people have scruples?

In short, no.  They are uniformly disgusting.  (Not for defending Casey, that is her right, but for the despicable lengths they have gone to.)

yea, emphasis on the word "attempting"...he is going to argue "someone else" and criminal investigation tampering and contamination - he's no Johnny Cochran by any stretch of the imagination

If no one has seen these photos before, I have to wonder what that defense team thinks when they look at her now.  Especially since she has told them she did it.

I seriously doubt that she told them she did it.

Isn't it an Attorneys obligation to report an admition from the client by law to LE?

Yes, that's why many attorneys don't want their clients to tell them the truth.  Makes it easier for the attorney to argue in court when they don't hear the truth either (defense attorneys that is).

So at what point did he tell LE this? Right before the trial?

I'm confused.  Are you asking when did Baez tell LE that Casey did in fact kill Caylee?
